I purchased my 2017 Honda Civic here and have gotten it serviced at West Broad Honda ever since. From then to now, the staff at West Broad Honda delivers! The night I bought my car, staff stayed late to make sure I understood everything about my car and the car buying process. I got a highly competitive interest rate to boot! Just today, a mechanic and service representative stayed late (past 6pm on a Friday) ensuring I could pick up my car before the long holiday weekend after a warranty-covered AC condenser replacement. I cannot thank you enough!! They also managed to squeeze in my free state inspection! A few years ago, when waiting for my car to receive regularly scheduled maintenance, I thought it took too long (matter of hours not minutes) and shared my experience in an automated feedback/survey. Since then, appointments are required and theyre much better about doing maintenance in a reasonable time frame, according to whether or not youre waiting at the dealership or dropping off. All this is to say, West Broad Honda is responsive to customer feedback. While I hope my Honda lasts a long, long time like all Hondas, I know if if I ever need to buy another car, Ill shop at West Broad Honda! Thank you, West Broad Honda folks! 🙂

Customers be aware, make sure you check to make sure the services you paid for were actually performed. Took my car in for state inspection and tire rotation. I paid for both services and when picking up vehicle, realized my tires were not rotated. I had a mark on one rim and knew it was not rotated. Went back in to let the service agent know, he said he will take care of it. No apology as to why it was not performed and had to wait for it even though I had dropped it off first thing in the morning. I also had to pay a 4.99 material charge for supplies. When asked why do I have this charge, I was told they charge this fee for everyone. Why would they charge a misc/material fee for state inspection and tire rotation? I did not expect this from a Honda dealership. I understand if this was an oversight but no apology or even a refund for something that was not originally performed and had to wait for something that should have been done when they had my car.

Brought my car in for safety recall repairs. I was informed by Honda that I would be provided with a rental while my car was in the shop. Not only was there no rental, the old shuttle driver wouldnt even drive me 15 minutes home, because as he rudely kept repeating, I dont drive south of the river. There were two other customers in the shop and they were not interested in the shuttle. This guy was not busy. He just didnt feel like driving. When I need service in the future I sure wont bring it here.

This place is incredible!!I was in VA from out of state when my car developed an issue. I took a chance and pulled into West Broad Honda, although feeling very apprehensive since Honda dealers in general dont have the best reputation. I really felt that I was at their mercy especially since I dont know a lot about cars. The service advisor was a young lady with dark hair (her name may have been Rose) who looked at the car, identified the problem, made sure the needed parts were in stock, and made arrangements for me to bring the car back early the next morning since I had a commitment in the afternoon and was leaving town the next morning.The next morning I arrived early. Within about an hour the car was repaired, a multipoint check was done (note: they said everything was fine and made no attempt to upsell) and they even washed the car! All of this for substantially less than I was prepared to spend. Amazing!If I have any regret at all it is that I cant give 10 stars. I dont live in VA but will seriously consider traveling there when it is time for my next Honda. This place is that good!

Every time I come back from West Broad Honda dealer for a repair something else break.I have 2005 Odyssey EX.1. Side sliding doors weren’t opening automatically. Got it fixed. 12 or 13 months later, (they have 12 months warranty), the side sliding door stopped working.2. Told them that my car had parasitic draw and wanted them to find out what was causing it. Got a call back later stating that they did diagnosis and determined that it was parasitic draw. I was so disappointed and decided to not spend more money with them.3. I got tired of unplugging the battery cable every night. Took the car to the dealer service. This time I reminded them multiple times that it’s a parasitic draw and so they need to find the root cause. They said it will cost me $110 to find the root cause. They called me later that it will cost me $320 for additional work to continue to find the cause and to repair it. That was a red flag. Finding the root cause was supposed to be $100. Steven Royal, the service advisor, told me it was up to me to continue with $320 or stop and get charged w $110. He put me into a corner and made me to pay for the technician’s incompetence. Again, the deal was to find the root cause for $110. I didn’t sign to pay per hour or extra house needed to find the cause. Anyways, I didn’t want to waste time and money without fixing the problem. The cause was the right power slide unit. The fix was leaving the unit unplugged. Does unplugging the unit cost $210? What a ripoff! I got in my car and noticed that the driver seat was not assembled all the way. Notified it to Steven. He put some pressure with his bare hands, and the plastics under the seat are assembled properly. I told Another problem - I came home and parked the car. Few minutes later, I had to drop off my son to work. I put the gear to rear. As I drive back, I hear squeaking sound that I didn’t have before. What the !!!!Am I wrong to suspect that they have bad practice to make money out of old cars? Maybe they have good reputation w new car sales and follow ups but not w old cars. Not all old cars come up with new problems after fixing something from the repair shop. My car started having problems after taking my car to this place.Used car owners, please share your experiences at the West Broad Honda.

When I went to buy another car I bought a Subaru and drove it for about six years. I knew I needed a larger car due to five beautiful grandchildren and I wanted a third row seat. I was thrilled when I bought a Honda pilot and realized that Scott Taylor was still in the service department. He is very professional, knows everything about the pilot and most importantly has a lot of patience in teaching me all the new tech savvy things that are in the car. Went in for a lease. They had a staff meeting so I left to let them finish paperwork. I received numerous updates of my credit being continuously pulled. Called the salesman, Kevin, and requested they stop doing this. i was informed this was to get me the best deal. Kevin was nice enough to text me later and say they had me approved for a new vehicle loan. I NEVER said I wanted to buy a new vehicle. Bait and switch tactics. I do not recommend.

We spent most of our time with Sales Consultant Donald Johnson, who is very knowledgeable, friendly, and not pushy at all. Business Manager Phil Noel was very friendly and efficient with the paperwork side of things.If I could change one thing, I would have preferred if Phil had 1) mentioned the warranty that automatically comes with the vehicle before presenting the additional options, and 2) clearly stated that the other warranties are, in fact, optional.If my partner had not known about the existing warranty and brought it up, Im not confident we would have been told.

Called the service center to make an appointment and spoke to a woman who was very rude and hung up in my face. I originally loved coming to west broad Honda due to this being the place I bought my car. But after this terrible customer service I will make sure to tell everyone I know that the service here is terrible. I couldn’t even get the manager on the phone to get someone to answer my questions. They should not have someone answering phones and taking appointments who just will hang up in a customers face without having their questions answered. She was also very rude in general. Never going back here again. Finally received a call back from the manager Brett and he told me it was ok that his employee hung up in my face.

Asked for a specific service from the service center. They performed a completely different service that didnt fix initial problem. Still charged me $350. Still wouldnt release my car unless I paid for the service I didnt ask for. Couldnt recommend any less.Seriously, just take your car to Jahnke Rd Auto. I took my car to get my module control system replaced. The guy that helped me and set up my car for it to get fixed left for vacation did not notify me or anyone else in there. I called multiples times to get in contact with someone in the service department and no body answered. It shouldn’t be that hard to answer a phone call especially when it’s not busy hours. It took them a week to order the piece of my car and replace it, and when I go pick up my car happens that the piece is defective so I had to leave the car for one more week. They did provide me a rental or any other source of transportation. I called yesterday to check if it was ready the lady that answer the call told me it’s ready, but when I get there the people at the shop tell me it’s not ready that they will call me today Thursday April 15. It’s 3:10 in the afternoon and I have not received a call. Service here it’s awful. I had a bad experience here will not take my car to this location ever again.

Disappointed first time customer. Bought a “certified used Honda” July 2020 from West Broad Honda. They actually made the sale pretty easy which is why I gave them 2 stars. Now on to the bad part. It’s the end of March 2021, 8 months after we bought the “certified used Honda”, I bring it in to the auto center because our breaks were feeling a little weird. It was just a light feeling of pulsing when using the breaks. Honestly, I didn’t think much of it but wanted to get it checked out anyway. I get a call the day I dropped it off that our REAR brakes are in bad shape and we need new rotors and pads for the rear which will be $700. Of course this came as a shock to us. The car only has 37K on it! (I read online that they should be good till around 100K) Another thing to mention is that our car is front wheel breaking like a lot of cars. Why in the world would we need rear rotors and pads so soon especially on the rear if most of the breaking is in the front? To make matters worse, the customer service rep I spoke with tried to say that it was probably the way that we drove. Insinuating that we were rough on the car in the 8 months we have had it. Totally unacceptable firstly because that is rude, and secondly like I said, it’s front wheel break, we don’t have control over the back breaks so even if we drove rough it wouldn’t affect the rear breaks. Then they couldn’t tell me what the pads measurement was when we got the car.(of course I didn’t ask at the purchase, from now on I will.) It all seemed very fishy to me. My wife not knowing, told them to go ahead with it. I called around to other shops just to get an idea of what it should have costed and I was getting quotes in the high $300s. LESS THAN HALF! I’m not even mad about the money. It’s the principle and the way they handled it. Now we bought the entire Honda care package when we bought this car in July 2021 and I understand breaks aren’t covered but it’s not sitting right to me. Super shady. I won’t be returning to this shop except for free warranty stuff since I mistakenly got their “Honda Care.” Its prob as good as their “certified Honda” promise. I’ll also be sharing with friends and family that they shouldn’t do business with them. It’s hard to find a good mechanic you can trust. I guess what they say is true, dealership=stealership

It can be super nerve wrecking being a woman and coming alone to get your car serviced. However whenever I come in to get my car serviced I know that I am in good hands. Russell Morris is trustworthy and always has the willingness attitude that is beyond exceptional. Saul was super helpful and patient with me. He was very knowledgeable and didn’t try to push anything on me I didn’t want. He got the price as close as he could to the range I could pay and I didn’t mind paying a little more because of how good he was to me and how much he worked for me.I plan on coming back if I need any help with my car or if I ever get another car! I received outstanding customer service from the West Broad Honda team. I first came in contact with Mr. Burton who is a cool guy, was very attentive and listened to my issue. He also offered to help me with my GAP paperwork if I didnt understand anything. Mr. Burton introduced me to Mr. Kevin who became my salesmen. Who is very awesome! I really enjoyed working with him and he is funny too. Mr. Kevin was very patience with me through the whole process. I was never pressured at any time. He communicated with me when needed. Mr. Kevin is good at his job. Lastly on the team is Mr. Phil who I met when I had to finalized my paperwork for my 2020 Honda Accord purchase. Mr. Phil is a very nice and smooth guy. Who helped to make my purchase successful, I wasnt pressured to get any warranties that I didnt want. So I drove off in my new 2020 Honda Accord with a big smile and happy.

I purchased my vehicle in September and hadnt received any check up calls or any type of customer service after purchasing this car. In addition to this, I wasnt satisfied with this vehicle after driving it for a week and seeing how it functioned. After to speaking to Mr. Johnson I didnt get much help and was told that if I wasnt satisfied that I would have to undergo the whole trading in process again even though I had already purchased the car and only had it in my possession within the 7 day mark. My experience here wasnt all that great and the only pleasant person seemed to be the gentleman in the finance center.

Worst Honda dealer Ive ever been to, EVER! From the service advisor and service manager all the way to GM who was the WORST. Parts was unavailable but they prolly sucked too based on everyone else and them ignoring my request to speak to someone in parts. Absolutely HORRIBLE experience! Ive worked at Honda dealer for 17 years, so I know how the process works and how Honda emphasizes customer service.Apparently these guys missed the note! I came in at 8:30 am on a donut tire because of a flat while on vacation. We live 8 hours away and of course it was the day we were leaving. I specifically came to a Honda dealership bc I work for one and expect the best. Unfortunately, I got the worst! When you pull in there are signs for EXPRESS SERVICE (no appt necessary/quick turnaround for minor repairs). I told the writer I was from out of town with my family and needed to get back home and also that I too worked for a Honda dealer back home. He didnt care and told me 2.5 hours minimum for one tire replaced. I left the car and they were going to call me. They called an hour later and told me I needed a tire...well, duh! I said I need to do it no matter what and then they told me the price and I said fine but would like to talk to service manager about the price due to me also working for a Honda dealer. He told me he really didnt know and its prolly parts. I asked him to talk on my behalf. 1.5 hours later they returned and gave me 20 bucks off. Not a worthy discount but what was most disappointing was the fact that they hadnt ordered the tire yet that was going to take 2 hours for delivery already. So add another two hours. I waited more time and didnt hear back so at this point I was curious and just went to the dealership to see if my car was close. My service advisor went home for day, paperwork transferred, and no one knew anything until after 10 minutes of waiting. Of course it wasnt so I went into the waiting area and decided to ask for the GM; Maybe 5 people at one time were all having a bad day and maybe the GM could fix the issue since they should be setting the example for the store. WRONG! He was the worst one! He was on lunch, made sure to tell me so though and made me feel completely inconveniencing and an interruption. I started with telling him I work for a Honda dealer in NY and I understand how things work. I started that I came in because of Express Service with Honda and before I could continue, he cut me off, arrogantly, and said we dont have express service before I could even tell him my issue. I got up and walked out!!!! HERE WE ARE ALMOST 5 hours later and Im still sitting in the waiting room. DO NOT COME HERE! They clearly arent worthy of the H on the building

I purchased several vehicles from this location. They are you BFFs when purchasing, however service is not so efficient. Very disappointment the last two times I have had service. Had a compression go bad on a 2016 car with 24k miles on it. NOT cover under warranty so paid 1600.00 in September. Car may have been driven 1k miles since then and now compressor is leading. Made an appointment 2 weeks ahead-took the car in at 7:30am, I had to call at 2:30 to see what was going on, only to be told to call back in an hour (which took several phones call with hang ups to get thru). I called back in an hour to be told it would now take another hour. So sometime after 5pm my car might be ready. Asked why it has taken so long-one excuse after another but the best one was, I was lucky they had the parts in stock...really--last time I buy or have my Hondas serviced at West Broad Honda.
