Excellent place to shop for Indian Asian grocery items. Actually the vegetables are imported from India, variety is awesome of all items including achar,trir fry,ata,rice,namkeen but not limited to it. Must visit if shopping for Desi grocery items. It is located little bit in the back but you will be able to see it.

I experienced Royal Bazaar for the first time last week and immediately made plans to bring my curry-loving mother back with me.The aroma when you walk in is just....so good. A combination of the hundreds of spices, some incense, and whatever is cooking in their fresh kitchen stall smacks you in the face in the best way. The produce is all fresh, reasonably priced and well-organized. The aisles are clean, organized and so neat at all times. We came midday on a Saturday and while it was packed, it didnt feel crowded at all. If there is anything you need to make your next Indian fest, I cannot imagine they dont have it.The gentleman at the register was such a delight both times. He asked where me and my mom were from and seemed genuinely delighted when I said, right here! and we shared how much we appreciate his store.Will definitely be back regularly!

Never very busy and always has the best spices around at the best prices. You can stock a kitchen for years for next to nothing.Id recommend the mango juice and mango ice cream in the refrigerated section. It is delicious and we can never seem to buy enough.This is my go to grocery store, and the one I recommend to everyone I know.

This Indian grocery store has it all. There are literally whole asiles of spices and another asile of dried beans. There is a nice selection of fresh vegetables. It is large and clean and has wide asiles. It is a perfect store for a wide variety of Indian foods.

Most broader varieties of indian spices (& spices mixtures) I ever found in Virginia or Middle East under one roof. Plus a lot of greens that hardly to be found in other Mediterranean or Asian places I visited in Virginia. Not to mention the types of rice, beans, ... etc. Well organized, clean and neat too. I hope they keep the good work.

We like going to our groceries to Royal because they have a good variety. They sometimes get busy but usually earlier in the day is much better. They have good samosas and puffs in their hot stand.

Worst Pizza! After long time I went back to get pizza. They were very good in beginning. All my 3 pies where burnt.🥵🤬I would not recommend anyone. Terrible customer service too and it not worth of a price.

Beware when you buy packaged goods here.Most of the packaged snacks here seems to be expired. Here is an example how they manipulate the package information with a nutrition facts sticker. Manufactured date was 26 Feb 2017 and expires after 4 months which is 26 June 2017. The purchase date was 28 August 2017 which is 2 months after it expired.

I have concerns about hygiene maintained in this store under Covid 19 situation. They have stopped cleaning shopping carts as I was told except once in morning. No hand sanitizers or sprays of any kind are kept for public use or even for their own safety. All employees wear masks, nevertheless.

No price are markes on the items, higher prices compare to neighborhood grocery store, nobody knew where the itmes in stock or not, very unorganized store.

Very organized, neat and big, when compared to other Indian groceries in town. The billing person was very friendly and he made sure that you got all the items that you were looking for in the store... Its all the time little crowded in the evenings. I have no idea abt school n work hrs. Maybe it should be little free. If u dont find anything ask them for help at the counters, they would help you out.

Love it here! So many interesting finds. If your looking for something (especially spices) that no one else has, start here! Even if your not really looking its still fun to bring home something new. They also have a good variety of frozen foods making it easy to try something new even if your a bit clueless in the kitchen.

This is my new favorite Indian grocery store in Richmond. This place is HUGE and much larger than any of the other Indian grocery stores around here so it has a lot more selection and options. The vegetables were pretty fresh and fairly priced.

Im always excited to shop in Royal Bazaar. The customer service is nice and prices are reasonable. I was kind of disappointed they didnt had Pocky Sticks but thats all right. Can you expect Japanese snacks in Indian store? Overall, its a definitely a supermarket to visit!

A true 1 stop shop for ALL groceries and every kind of Indian pooja/home/kitchen requirements in Richmond. Be hard pressed to find a better stocked Indian store in the Richmond area. The store owner and employees are super helpful and will drop whatever they are doing to get you what you need.

Place is good with lot of collection but many things I looked for was not available and customer service is very rude. No greetings nothing. Not sure why specifically me as others greeted and treated with so much of respect.I am not going back

The best place for shopping Indian groceries in Henrico. Other shops don’t have this much variety. Staff is super friendly and helps you out to locate stuff for you. Prices are normal. Looking for 0.00000001 RatingThe owner made me believe the Mexican Mangoes taste very good and i bought the mangoes, they tasted awful . Next week i went to him and said they were not good, he diverted me intellectually and made me buy Indian Banginapalli Mangoes, i trusted him but i regret the decision now they tasted very bad, rotten in few days. Basically if the stuff is bad they will lie to you saying its good and make you buy and they just want your money, they do not care about trust, so you can never trust these guys
