I love visiting this store. Im a beginner potter hobbyist, so Im often loaded with (dumb) questions. The friendly staff at this store is always eager, not just willing, to help answer my questions while offering advice of their own. Their selection of tools, glazes, raw materials, and clay is vast, and prices are also competitive with what Ive seen on online stores. Ive never purchased any heavy equipment or electronics, though. Ive even gotten tips from regular customers that are shopping while Im there... pros, not just beginners like me! Easy shop to recommend for people of any skill level.

Clay People is a great place for pottery supplies. Great selection of glazes to browse. They also will bisque / fire your work . Parking spaces seem to always available. Raw materials, including a giant wall of Mason stains.

I Love ClayPeople! First of all they are very convenient for me to get to as I live in the East Bay and work in Marin. And they are always open when I need them. But, more importantly they are always on it. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff, and even more ready to look it up for you if they dont know. They handle my orders quickly, if they dont have what I need theyll get it for me. I have worked with them many times on large orders for my studio and they are just fantastic!

Great place to buy all your ceramic supplies. Its now the closest pottery supply store, so this is my go-to spot for clay, glazes, tools, etc. Also they have a different clay on sale every month, usually for very cheap.
