Nice small FamCamp. No Sewer hookups, but has a nice big Dump Station. You must go see the ELK nearby right on the installation. Would stay again.

If youre allowed on base, check out the protected herd of elk. Such amazing creatures.

We used the RV park. I can only base it on that.The RV park has 6 pads with electric/water hook ups. There is a dump station but no other facilities. Even the base has nothing.The RV park area is nice. It has two fire rings and some benches and picnic tables.It was fairly quiet except the occasional passing train but it wasnt bad.

Due to local TV reporter. Went there to see elks from viewing stand.

Went to the Pass and ID office for new ID. 1st time had the right paper but they would not accept it. 2nd time had appointment drove there only to be told computers are down. Could have called me. 3rd time did a walk in took 2 hours. Not sure if the ID person was new but seemed a little flustered doing their job.

Went to get an ID card and it was a pleasant event. Everything went smoothly and we were in and out before our actual appointment time. Great job.

Bellwood FCU on base has a brand new building. The staff is friendly and pleasant.

Quite possibly my least favorite RAPIDS location in the country. On the upside wait time for walk-ins can be short. Never had a single successful trip here in getting a CAC renewed or certificates properly attached. Your mileage may vary, I might just be unlucky.

Spent two years there while in U S Army 1961 through 1963. Enjoyed NCO club golf at fort lee tennis with Larry French and capt helmrich co commanders of the post. trips for fort story Virginia Beach anyone still alive from those years?

Attended a meeting of Bellwood Womens Club. A very congenial group of women interested in assisting the military. There was entertainment following a fine meal.

I come here to go to the gym when I come home for leave. Gym is nice, clean and has everything you need. Way better than driving to fort Lee or paying for a gym to workout at for a few weeks.

They helped us get our paperwork while we were in the hospital with our newborn. I got lost on base but had very good service and help from everyone.

From start to finish, the people here are anything but incredibly amazing. All smiles and very willing to help. I am thankful for these people who represents our nation and service for our armed forces.

This is a good Depot to support the Virginia national guard. The post has some great gate guards that take their jobs seriously.

Customer Service is horrible. They are just there to get a paycheck. I had questions about policy because I do not have 2 forms of ID, just have an unexpired CAC (made rank) and an expired license. I got no answers, no direction, no references. The lady Iiterally turned away from me and started to check her email. It was during my appointment time. I did the research on my phone and found the answers myself (while I was waiting) and was satisfied with what I found. I didnt get a new CAC, but I got answers. I left frustrated with the unprofessional attitude and lack of customer service.

The ID card center has serious room for improvement in the staff! Waited for almost 20 mins with one person in front of me and I counted 6 staff members. Went for a pin reset and the rep claimed that it was impossible to unlock CAC card and that it was something to do with my unit, etc. etc. I drove to Fort Lee and had the card reset in less than 5 mins. Previous visit last year, had one lady who was disrespectful and rude. I think she is the supervisor. DLA needs to take a serious look at their representatives at the ID card center.

A small but suitable military installation. Cafe is great, GYM has steam room and sauna, full b-ball court two racket ball courts, cardio room, weight room, aerobics room with training Bob and more. Shopette is small but adequate. Nice running trails too. MWR rental facility.

Its a basically government, military facilities. You need military ID to get in. Very historical landmarks and plus A good cafeteria.

Great place to work. There are a variety of different career options to choose from. Onsite childcare and fitness facilities available.

Very secure military installation,you will need a military ID, contract workers ID, or apply for a pass from the visitors center at the back gate. I buy my gasoline with my military star card at the post PX, which is small and has a limited stock of items including beer,wine and liquor.

Very good gym need to do something about parking.

Good service, they even apologized for closing early due to storm warnings from Hurricane Michael.
