Decent store arrangement. The staff seeks to assist although i could not find items to satisfy my shopping desires during this particular visit. Nonetheless worth stepping into for browsing/shopping
Dressing rooms are closed? I’ll shop elsewhere. Men’s shoes selection is abysmal. Great way to kill stores, sears! Get stock back, pay people decent wages, they’ll work harder and actually make the poorly dressed mannequins look better than homeless people in the store.
This is one of the last stores still open. They dont have everything that they used to carry that youd expect them to have. The place is like a ghost town. I can see why they are going out of business.
Try to support the store so they dont go under but the inventory is terrible. Need more sizes. Lots of empty shelves.

Sears has not made any effort or attempt to pick up an incorrectly delivered refrigerator which has been sitting in the middle of my dining room for over five months now. In addition, the replacement refrigerator that I ordered was not in an acceptable condition due to a dent in the door. I have been waiting over four months now for Sears to repair this damage. I have made multiple attempts to contact Sears about picking up the first refrigerator and about fixing the damaged door of the replacement one. The refrigerator that I originally ordered was Kenmore model 75032. The measuring instructions that were provided online indicated the incorrect dimensions. As a result, the refrigerator was too deep for my kitchen. Not only was it their fault but to replace the refrigerator with one with the right dimensions was $1000 more and then they refused to deliver it. I had to drive to pick it up myself and pay $100 to rent a Uhaul in order to do it. As a paying customer, I deserved to have had the right refrigerator delivered with the correct dimensions and in brand new working condition within a reasonable timeframe. It is now six months since I originally put in my order for the purchase of a refrigerator from Sears and so far, I have not experienced any of the above expectations. It has been one inconvenience after another.I have given Sears ample time to resolve these issues. After having been a loyal customer to Sears for decades, having purchased all of my kitchen appliances, washer, dryer, pressure washer, all of my tools, etc. I am deeply disappointed with the level of dysfunction in which they are currently managed as well as the little care and regard they have for customers.

Was at the car repair garage at sears getting my battery charged. They always honor their warranty and I have always purchased my tires and batteries there.
DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM SEARS. They will do anything to get a sale and lie about the delivery date. They gave me a complete runaround. Told me the washer and dryer I ordered would be there in two weeks. We don’t hear anything I called they say oh yeah sorry it is here sorry no one called you. We go to pick it up And they tell us only the washer is there so we tell them just keep it and will come back when the dryer arrives. Still don’t hear anything from them after another week go back they say nothing is there and they have no idea when they’re going to have it not a date at all no date.
Found a couple of work shirts for $7Alot of bargains on safety shoes,I get my Timberlands here every Dec if they have my size in stock.Veterans discount and rewards point make price better.Some discontinued steel toes are even cheaper.Able to get Levis bargains on line

I used to like shopping here especially for there jewelry. I bought a tennis bracelet retailed for $1000 I wore it twice and noticed the clasp is very loose and also took it to get appraised and I was told that the retail price is inflamed. So I decided to try to return or exchange and the same lady with the cut off side burns who works the jewelry department was very rude she will walk right past you and not acknowledge or even say give me a moment and I’ll be right with you. Just beware buying any jewelry, not even on the receipt does it say you have a limited amount of time to return or exchange and I think that needs to be updated on the receipt so customers know instead of feeling bamboozled or trapped when they do try to return or exchange.

Went to buy a new water filter for the fridge. Never been in this location. The place smelled like mildew. Prices for what was left, not good. Didnt have the one I needed. Cashier was no help. She said when & if they get a shipment, might nit have what you want. Bad customer service.

I honestly dont know how this store is still open, it was dead in the store. The employees didnt even speak to us, just kinda stared at us as we were shopping, almost as if we werent wanted there. No offer to help us find anything or even a welcome in, NOTHING! Then there is the fact that you can buy craftsman tools cheaper elsewhere, again I dont know how they are staying open. GOOD LUCK

I purchased a high dollar item, an LG all-in-one washer dryer combo unit....total over $2400.00. The salesman Ron, I believe I have his name correct, was the one who asked me if I needed help, as I walked towards the appliance section. There was another salesman there as well, and they all work by commission. I didnt have a lot of time to waste, and had to go to work shortly after. I notice Ron a 70ish year old man, was speaking to me in a rather condescending manner, which he seemed to have no difficulties continuing. To make a long story short, we got to the end and because I couldnt remember the person I talked to previously, I said, I realize I dont remember the previous salesmans name, how are you dealing with the commission? He said Im taking the commission because of that reason. Then he honked out, well its only 1% anyway, and I said well I guess that means you dont really care either way, he agreed he didnt care. In the parking lot, I called back and spoke to someone in detail that gave me the managers name who was not there at the time. He was very courteous and will most likely help me when I come back. Im not surprised at customer service in these times. Hes been on this earth a long time and should know better. Im sure the manager will take care of everything when I go back and pick up my item. Im confident my next review on this subject will be much better.

I hadnt shopped at Sears in years. I dont no in how long! But my cousin came from Hawaii she had on a nice blouse on n I asked her where did she buy it n she said Sears n that they have good sales. So I went in to look 4 a Valentine shirt. I asked the girl if they had any Valentine shirts n she said it will probably come in next week so I said ok. I ended up buying a pair of dress navy blue suede pants 4 like 8.96. A good buy!

I was surprised today when we went to Sears. Since they are closing, I was expecting a lot of empty racks and undressed mannequins. Nope! It looked just like it did when i got my first charge card at 18 yo. It was a Sears card. That was always my go to store for everything! I love Sears and wish they werent closing! Great Store!

The staff are very friendly and with the constant sales Sears is definitely a worthwhile store. One thing to improve upon would be making sure that staff are near registers, on multiple occasions I have searched for over 15 minutes to find a staff to ring up my items.
Horrible Customer Service, pretty sad when you purchase a product from the company not only do they not carry parts but make sure you know everything about the product otherwise they are useless in the store . Not helpful you have to do everything pretty much your self what good is the store. Manager gets requested but your waiting around for a waste of your time .I do not recommend nor do I see any reason to support such a horrible business. They used to be a lot better but now I see why they are struggling to stay in business.

All I can say about the failing family. Super store chain is Sorry to see you go! I am a semi retired mechanic that prefers Craftsman tools for their quality and lifetime exchange policy. A tool associate (Kita) recently opened my eyes to a new way of dealing with exchanges. I brought in a 1/2 inch ratchet, retail $35, and instead of gratuitously waving her hand and directing me to the proper aisle, took my ratchet and tore it down to its fundamentals and right before my eyes carefully and professionally rebuilt my locked-up ratchet to better than new condition! Kita of the Stockton . Sears store deserves a raise! A great employee by any standards!
Very good store but the employee arent helpful I bought clothes and shoes around 500 hundreds doller and I stack up for near future because clothes were responsible but no one helped me I still need rain coat and rain shoes but no one helped me and I left with them today

Looks like its headed out of business. Low to no stock. The customer service is great despite the dismal look to the stores.
Even though this place isnt what it used to be, customer service still is nice. We were quickly approached by a store associate and helped in a very inviting manner. We were looking for a vacuum and the one we wanted wasnt on the floor. Associate offered to give us the next higher model for the lower price of the one we wanted. We were in and out in minutes!

Maybe the last Sears in Stockton and Modesto area that I know of. I always get my work boots and Craftsman toys here. Been around forever and I hope it always us.
Sears is my go to store! My parents shop at Sears on Gary st in San Francisco when I was a kid .Customer service fabulous, net clean and the bonus point that accumulate and the savings couldnt ask for more .My hole house is Sears appliances and clothes. Love this store!

You deal with some real charming a-holes in this town daily.I bought a craftsman 17 gas power string trimmer for $79 on sale with a 3yr warranty for an extra $20 with tax it was $104. Not bad. Like Montana prices better. THERES NO SALE TAX. Theres also no SEARS there either.

Terrible customer service, very rude and disrespectful. I went to pick up a edger that had in sale but they told me they did not have it. Then they showed me something that was twice as much but said it much nicer. I looked up the ratings and it was good but noticed it was on sale for 155 at another Sears store. The sales person said shows the add to the cashier and they would honor it so I thought nothing of it. When I went to pay I told them I would like to also purchase the accessories as well as the extended service contract. The cashier was very annoyed that I asked for the extended service contract. It seemed like it was an inconvenience for him to get me the price and go over what it covers. He was also seemed like he was not very knowable about the extended service contract. Anyway I wanted the extended contract and accessories and weed trimmer but when I showed him the add at another Sears was $16 cheaper he said that is the price at that Sears and not ours. I asked dont the match prices and he said yes but that is on online price then laughed at me. I said I dont understand its a Sears add. He said yeah but thats there ad so if you want it then go there. Clearly this guy was having a very bad day and decided to take it out on me. At my advanced age I see no reason to put up with that type of behavior let alone give them my business so I left without making a purchase. I have been a long time Sears customer and might continue to spend at Sears however I can tell you RUN DONT WALK AWAY FOR THE SEARS STOCKTON LOCATION. There are a lot of other places you can buy the same product and they treat you with respect and apresheate your business and that is not the case at the Stockton Location.

This Sears has a lot of items on sale. From clothing and bedding to tools and exercise equipment. The appliances are not in stock and come from a main hub. Deliveries can take quite some time.

Did not have my size for 2nd item, no one to help me on lower floor. Went upstairs to make my purchase. Clerk did not have authority to honor posted sale price. They required her to call TWO supervisors which caused my check out time to be 10 minutes. Sears-you need to empower your clerks to make best decisions for your customers! Clerk was very nice but I did not like my shopping experience due to poor management.
Prices are extremely high...and theres absolutely no-one around to help you... So long Sears....
This company has been going through a very difficult time for the last few years. I can only hope that the Stockton, CA store will not close in the future. I have been a very loyal customer for many years and would miss the Sears store in Stockton, CA.
