Had a great time at the range. The range officer was extremely helpful with my brother. And he also pointed out a bad habit I had with my grip. I will definitely be going back soon and possibly getting a membership also. 5 star range and store!

Pretty good place. It’s declined a little since opening but I still like it. I’ve never had a problem with staff after reading some other reviews. I do think it’s a little warm sometimes in the range itself but no big deal. I love the deals they provide to Veterans each year....Thank You!

I was extremely nervous to handle a gun and to even be around a gun. Darren made me feel confident and secure about handling and firing. I would 100% recommend.

The best range I have been too in a long time. All the staff are very helpful and nice. Jamison was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable in AR’s and even fixed a problem I had with my AR.

Fantastic experience! Every time I go there everyone is very friendly and helpful. Darren was especially helpful when I brought in friends and family who hadnt shot anything before. I would highly recommend for beginners and experienced shooters!

Friend bought a gun, everyone was very nice up until he finished buying it. During the process one lady was very persistent and impatient. Then were yelled at for holding at the gun after he finished buying it.

I’m not sure what was worse, the rude unknowledgeable front desk staff, their wack pricing or the over bearing RSOs. Two of them physically threatened me last time I went and the owner encouraged it. Do NOT recommend spending your money here.

Family owned. Family run. Fair. They may be a bit more $$$ than the guys across the street, but the service, knowledge, and all-in-all passion for 2A is worth it. I brought my Dad there for his first pistol and they spend nearly an hour going over models, options, feel, and comfort; he purchased a SW MP Shield. Brought my sister; they treated her the same, even though she spent twice the time and ultimately didnt purchase anything. The range (as their name states) is also a great facility to get some shots in; All modern and up-to-date. Bottom line.....theyll treat you right, not treat you like a ticket number, and with competitive pricing.

Been here a few times now and always have a great experience. Im not close to being a pro shooter, but the staff has given me tips and tricks every time Ive gone! I havent taken a class yet, but I have been seriously contemplating it eapecially since there is such an amazing and helpful staff there. I feel more comfortable with a gun and my performance each time I walk out. The prices are better than most ranges around too. I recommend The Range to anyone and everyone.

I understand when a place is busy, especially when they have conceal carry classes. But after my experience today Im in no hurry to come back. We were there for about 30 minutes and not once even got a hello, let alone can i help you or someone will be with you shortly.

Pretty cool place. All the guys seem cool. The range masters are very friendly and helpful. The women who work there are EXTREMELY rude. They openly mock people to other customers. They act very annoyed all the time and have terrible attitudes.

Huge selection of rentals and very helpful during the purchasing process. This will be our regular range for practice.

Great place. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I have purchased several firearms from here now and they always have or are able to get what I want quickly. Skip the big box stores and head straight to the professionals to get exactly what you want. Range time and ammo pricing are extremely reasonable as well. No reason to go anywhere else for your firearm needs.

Ive been to friendlier ranges. The ROs are more gestapo then helpful. Maybe will get better as I get to now them.

Rude young woman behind the counter who doesnt have a clue how to deal with customers. Most likely shes related to the owner because anyone else with her attitude would have been fired. She said they have a policy not to rent to anyone who doesnt have another person with them or their own gun. How ridiculous.

Im new to the area and a quick search showed this was the place to go. The facility was bright, clean, and spacious. The staff was super friendly and courteous. I arrived without a reservation and received a new customer orientation with several other new folks. Glad to see such a classy range nearby and I will definitely make this my go to place!

It was two of us there for the first time on a Thursday and from the CLerk at the register Ms. Cindy to the our range trainer - Jeff, we were so pleasantly surprise at the care and kindness given to us. Jeff you are a very RARE Jewel and we appreciate all the tips you gave us on our proper way to hold our weapon. being First timers was really a little scary, but you made us feel very much at ease. Cindy your kindness and care caused us to purchase a yearly membership. The lane we used was wonderful and the facility has so many items that you can choose to purchase right on the spot. THANKS!!

Ive been here twice so far. Nice clean store. Nice clean range (the ventilation is more than adequate). Safety Officer Rick was also kind enough to help me out with a sight wrench.

I had a private one on one session with David Maglio. I have to say he did an awesome job putting everything into laymans terms on how a gun works, grip, stance and sight alignment, and then put that in to practice. Needless to say I now hit the bulls eye pretty much every time. He is an amazing teacher and I highly recommend a class with him, you definitely will not be disappointed!

Always get a lane by just walking in, only had limited time once but 30 min was fine that day.Nice pistol range, for me but to short for rifle although many bring their rifles in to shoot, I just dont see the point at that short of a distance.Price is OK, staff friendly, wouldnt try without reservation on weekend though. Highly recommend.

I came to shoot this morning with my new Remington 12 gauge. I got 3 targets and 30 minutes of shooting for only $15! the staff is so awesome and very friendly. one of the awesome staff members gave me advice on how to aim well with a shotgun. I plan to come back!

A very enjoyable experience each time we visit. I brought a hand gun for my wife last year, she had questions. The owners Jason was kind enough to sit down with us explain everything she needed know. Afterwards the conference my wife show on the range was all because the people that work at the Range took the time to help. Big thanks.

Just back from The Range in Richfield where my son and I put 120 rounds through my 9mm Baby Desert Eagle. Save for the unnecessarily curt woman who checked us in, I found The Range in Richfield a very nice place to shoot. They offer two well-lighted, six-lane ranges – six standard and six deluxe -- plus a fully-stocked shop with a nice selection of guns, holsters, ammunition, clothing and shooting miscellany. Their half-hour range fees seemed a little high, and getting a weekend reservation was no small feat, but I guess it becomes easier when you purchase a $400 annual membership.

Awesome experience. My wife and I went in for her first time shooting. I am ex military and they told me after I paid that I get to shoot free, and they gave me my money back. I am very happy about this because I was more than happy to pay the fee to shoot. Also the state of the art facility is very nice and easy to understand and work with.The range safety officer was very nice as well. As long as you follow there easy to understand safety rules there is no reason to be worried. (common sense rules to follow with firearms, ie dont flag people with your barrel.)We were so happy with our experience that we are going back on Thursday this week.Thanks for a wonderful experience.

After asking a few friends and Google searching another gun range a bit closer to home, I stumbled on The Range of Richfield. I was pleasantly surprised and glad I did. This place is by far the best indoor shooting range Ive been to near the surrounding metro Milwaukee area. Even the 3D tour on their website showcases how neat and clean everything really is! Upon walking through the door, you immediately feel the great quality and well maintained storefront that it has. A buddy and I were promptly greeted as we entered and we immediately felt very welcomed. This is HUGE for any business and says a lot nowadays! As far as the instruction and guidance by the personnel, youre in great hands with the NRA range safety individuals on site. They were pleasant, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Oh and the cleanliness that other patrons were talking about...The shooting lanes are VERY clean. One thing that stood out for me in addition to how neat everything looked was the absence of smoke. This place is well ventilated even! Ive been in some real smokers I tell you, and after witnessing this, a couple other places aught to be ashamed of theirselves. I love this place and encourage anyone thats looking for a great place to shoot to come experience it! I am purchasing a membership this week!!

We came on a weekend when they where very busy, without calling ahead [totally on us ] wow you guys drove up from Milwaukee?,,,if you can wait till 4 pm we can squeeze you in so your day isnt a waist but please call ahead on weekends from now on . so me n my son killed a hour down the street and came back for our fun . If the staff at the facility make it for you, this is a stop to make.

Best place Ive ever found to shoot indoors. Clean, safe and friendly environment. Very helpful staff, and a growing selection of pistols and rifles to rent and shoot. They even have leagues for people of all skill levels to join.

This is the best indoor range I have been to. It is very well lit and very clean. The range officer was friendly and helpful, giving me advice and shining his flashlight when I was trying to adjust my scope.

My friend and I have made several trips to The Range of Richfield. All were ok except our latest. The woman at the front desk was extremely rude and made us feel rushed. Which can be dangerous in that environment. The range saftey officers are great guys and will help you, teach you and are very friendly so no complaints there. The facility is nice just wish there were nicer people. Neither of the two behind the counter even looked at us after we were done shooting. After looking around a bit we picked up and left. Walked past both of the people behind the counter and neither said Have a nice day! or anything along those lines. All in all i would recommend going somewhere else. Too expensive and below average customer service/appreciation. Today was our last visit to the Range of Richfield.

The environment is comfortable and not intimidating for first timers. The staff is extremely helpful. The range itself is very clean and well built. By far the best indoor range (that isnt a gun club) in the milwaukee area.

I went to finish a trust for my brother in texas at the silencer kiosk in the store. Girl at counter more interested in putting away christmas lights, Jason said he did not write the program and could not figure it out. Does not know how to use the equipment in their own store very sad.....

The staff is friendly and helpful. Their range safety officer is serious about his job but not intimidating. Always willing to help and give training when needed.The only con I could think of is that they go a little overboard on checking ammo sometimes. I understand they dont want steel ammo in there but having to dig out all my ammo before I walk on to the range is excessive. Fortunately I think the policy of checking everyones ammo is starting to become a little more lax. Maybe adequate signage of the no steel ammo policy and kicking people off the range for breaking the rule might be a better option.

This range allows rifles but has the least amount of sound deadening Ive seen. By far the loudest fans of any range Ive ever heard. It was uncomfortable when we shot the IDPA match as well. Wont be going back.

Used to be a great range when they opened. Slowly but surely over barring range attendants, caliber restrictions, etc. crept in. Truly a shame as you’d think a place like this aught to be pro 2nd.

This was my 1st time at the range and would have definitely been 5 stars if it wasnt for the range officer. I dont remember his name but it was an older gentleman maybe late 50s early 60s. I get slight anxiety trying out a new range and he didnt help at all! It may have been because I was the only one on the range as they were closing but I felt like he was breathing on my neck constantly staring like he was waiting for me to make a mistake then accused me of hitting the ceiling which is an insult because i am in no way shape or form new to firearms. Every one else was great and very friendly and the fact that they have 30 min increments is perfect for just trying out a new toy to make sure it functions. So other than the range officer I would definitely recommend it. I understand rules need to be enforced but if a new 1st time shooter encounters him they would be petrified so back off a bit unless someone is doing something extremely unsafe

There were 3 of us that came here on a Saturday afternoon. We called the morning before we came and they recommended making a reservation because they were busy and we did. Standard lane pricing is $20/hour and $10 for each additional shooter for a total of $40 for 3 people. Only 2 people can be in the range at a time so we have to swap out to shoot with 3 people. They sell large targets for $1 onsite. They also have guns for rent and for sale.Theres a parking lot with plenty of spots. Theres a Cabelas across the street where you can pick up ammo for a good price when they are on sale.

I see someone else comment so maybe someone should change this. We would love to come back but I dont think we will spend anymore time then we have too. We will spend our money/time were they have friendly staff all around.

Hands down the best range Ive gone to. Friendly, courteous, and extremely helpful staff helped me not only to decide on what gun to rent, but helped me set up my new one as well. The RSO Paul, is by far one of the best RSOs Ive ever had the pleasure to work with. He was extremely knowledgeable, provided some great tips for me to work on in the future, and was very fun to work with. I personally liked the fact that if you were unsure about something (e.g. grip placement, magazine reloading, ect..) Paul was there to assist me whenever a question arose and despite providing some great jokes, he never wavered from ensuring that everyone was following the range rules. Besides the amazing staff they have working there, they have a plethora of guns to rent for quite reasonable prices as well. I really cant overstate the professionalism and the knowledge that they provided me while I was there. I would highly, highly, recommend this to first time shooters who may need a little help, to the more advanced shooter. Cant say enough good things about this place, except Ill be coming back every chance I get.

Beautiful State of the Art Facility! Richfield has a real gem with this range. Being privately owned and operated using state of the art bullet traps, air filtration & recycling many people will enjoy shooting here for a long long time. The range prices are reasonable, the facility is new and clean, its hard to ask for more from a facility or staff.Their affiliation with the USCCA (United States Concealed Carry Association) is a big plus from my perspective as well. As a Certified USCCA Instructor I dont believe you can find a higher level of integrity or CCW training than the standards set by USCCA and offered by The Range.*Just because theyre essentially across the street from Cabelas dont discount the possibility of buying firearms or accessories at as low or even lower price. I found they were lower priced on 2 of the most popular models of Glock pistols.
