We purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator and protection plan from Pacific Sales/Best Buy 4 years ago. Two months ago, the refrigerator began malfunctioning and I contacted Pacific Sales, who redirected me to the protection plan company. A repairman came out within days, but was unable to resolve the issue. The problems have gotten worse and worse resulting in leaking. About 2 weeks ago, the protection plan company began processing a replacement order, which was approved last week. Despite several attempts to find out the status of replacement, Pacific Sales Corporate has not answered my calls or emails or emails from the store where I purchased the refrigerator. The only reason that I’m giving them 2 stars instead of 0 is because the sales associate, Courtney, at Columbia, MD actually tried to be helpful in resolving this issue. I will not be purchasing anymore appliances from Pacific Sales and would encourage readers of this review to look elsewhere.
Have purchased a washer, dryer and dishwasher there. Staff is courteous and knowledgeable. Will continue buying my appliances from them until they give me a reason not too.
