This was our second car we bought from Manny. My lease was up and I really did not know which direction I was going to go. Supply was extremely limited due to supply chain issues but Manny really went above and beyond and I ended up getting what I wanted. He was not pushy, there was no pressure. I felt in control of the process the entire time. The dealership made my transaction smooth and painless. I will continue to purchase from and recommend Manny and Reliable Chevrolet to everyone.

I cant believe that car dealerships are still using bait and switch. We just looked at a Ford Focus, advertised online for $7,990. We drove the car and made an offer. When Luis came back from talking to the manager, he tacked on an additional $825 of required options. So I couldnt buy the car for the advertised price, much less negotiate on it. Next stop is the BBB then a letter to the Board of Berkshire Hathaway. Perhaps they would like know how their dealerships are being run.9/12/21 UpdateI have spoken and dealt directly with the General Manager over the past several days. In my opinion, he has been forthright and transparent about dealer profit, pressures from internet pricing and Texas law. Im still steamed that these required options are never mentioned in online ads. But Reliable Chevrolet is not alone in this. This is apparently how the used car industry is responding to current day profit pressures. I cant give an all out recommendation to the dealership, but I do give five stars to Dave Anderson in how he has dealt with us.

My wife & i purchased a SUV from Reliable. Everyone there was very helpful. AB our sales rep was not pushy at all, answered our questions & was patient with us while we kept looking for other options. Both Mario & AB made it possible for us to get our car payments at the amount we needed it to fit our Budget. The communication from them is tremendous. I would recommend them.

Unfortunately, my wife and I didnt have a great experience car shopping at Reliable Chevrolet. We went on a Saturday morning around 1pm, and waited for about 10 minutes before a salesman approached us, which was surprising, especially in this market. Our salesman was really personable, but he would often leave for way too long, sometimes even as long as 15 minutes at a time to check on questions we asked or to grab a paperwork item. This may sound nit-picky, but no other dealerships we visited took that long to get those answers or things we were asking about.We asked to see three cars - one was in the shop and reeked horribly of chemical fumes. The second one had not been fully inspected for safety, nor had it been cleaned at all and was pretty dirty. And the third one, well, our salesman couldnt find the keys anywhere, so we were unable to look inside it or drive it.We were ready to take the 2nd car on a test drive, but it turned out the key fob had a dead battery in it, and the salesman wasnt able to find a replacement fob battery, which was a bit puzzling to us. He informed us we wouldnt be able to drive it that day. To top things off, the dealer was going to charge around $800 in fees and refuse to fix some pretty significant cosmetic damage on that 2nd car.So, with all this in mind, we couldnt help but be at a loss for words when our salesman asked as we left: is there anything else I can do to help you make the decision today? As someone who has worked in customer service roles, I try my best to be gracious, but this question just felt a bit ignorant/tone deaf to me, because test driving and being able to look inside the car seemed like pretty key steps to the car buying process, and we were not going to spend such a significant amount of money without doing those two things.Needless to say, we ended up buying a car from a different dealership and were disappointed with our experience at Reliable Chevrolet, since their prices were competitive and they had a decent offering of cars.

My husband bought a used camaro that had previously had work done at your service center. The work was done 2 years ago and my husband called to get confirmation of what was done. We are in NC and the service dept. not only answered his questions but went as far as emailing us copies of everything. Awesome customer service that was beyond our expectations!! Thanks so much!!!

My truck had a issue that was covered by warranty. I brought it into this service dept. and have picked up my truck and dropped back off 5 times with issues each time. I have not had my vehicle for longer than three days a time over the last two months. Everything from leaking oil to check engine lights ever since they “fixed it”. Highly DO NOT recommend letting them work on your vehicle.

Went in to buy a vehicle and was told that the vehicle was 36k. Sat down to make a offer and get the deal done after the test drive and was told a different price. Approximately 8k more not including TT&L and I wasn’t using there financing. I made my offer at 36k and they refused even after being told the price was 36k at first. Do not purchase here and don’t deal with salesman David.

Never have had a good experience with the service department! Nobody in that department seems to care or have any customer service skills. I bought a new car so that I did not have issues time and time again, but seem to have my new Chevrolet (1 year old) in for service more than I ever had my ford in the five years I drove it combined, and absolutely hate having to call them. Last time I will say the manager was extremely helpful and the person who original sold my car never treated me this way (have referred people over because of my experience with him)Service Department would give 1 Star but everyone else would not be rated the same.I was told Chevrolet is not building ANY new cars - which I know cannot be true because my fathers new Corvette was just put into production.

First of all they called Me and offered me and oil change and gas to fill up my truck at $.69 a gallon who could refuse?My appointment was at 9 am. No one came to talk to me until 945am. I just dont understand the point of an appointment just to wait around for 45 minutes. Just to tell me it would be another 2 hours. Why tf did you call Me and waste my time? I would rather pay for my oil change than to waste half my day. I find it hilarious that they refer to this as a customer retention offer because I am never returning ✌🏼

DO NOT TRUST THE SERVICE DEPT! My car was taken to Reliable by Best Buy because they had a problem installing a remote start. Reliable took over 2 months to diagnose and return my car to me. When I picked up my car, the service dept ignored me and I had to ask several people for help. Soon after getting my car home, the check engine light was on. I took my car to another Chevrolet service department I trust and they revealed numerous issues that Reliable caused. I took my car back to Reliable and Lynn Corbell was extremely discourteous and rude. He said they were very busy that day, even though the manager told me to bring it in, but called me at the end of the day and curtly said it was ready. I’ve had my car back for two days and the check engine light is back on. Again, I do not believe they repaired my car and I’m very concerned about damage that will cause future problems.

I Purchased a 2015 GMC Yukon 45 days ago. Without knowing, I bought the car with a front light out. Of course I didn’t know this because I bought the car in the day time. A week later the back tail light went out. I brought the car to the service department and they told me each light will be around $1000 and if I wanted help with the cost to speak with my sales rep.The next week the car misfired, I took my car to a mechanic and they said this will cost anywhere from $2,500 - $3,000. The car also shakes when I go above 75 mph on the highway, I have no clue why it is doing this. I am having to spend nearly $5,000 within the first month of buying this car. I have been trying to call sales reps and managers who I worked with while buying the car since the day I got the car and no one has called me back, responded to emails or texts until last night. I spoke with Mario and all he said was would you like to trade it in? Do you want us to run a diagnostics (costs over $100)? To me, this is not how you do business or treat customers. On top of all this, I still haven’t received my license plates for the car. I don’t think they even know where they are. I would not recommend buying a used car from these people. Horrible experience. I will be telling all my friends, family and coworkers about this experience.

I went in for oil change, 36 point inspection and tire rotation. The result was the oil is not topped off, no tire rotation. ( they were marked) also car wash is not done well. So, I have to come back. My first bad experience.

Went to get my breaks fixed and an oil change. Ended up needing front break pads and rotors replaced as well as back pads. No surprise there, the front breaks were AWFUL and I expected it to be an expensive fix. The quote came back for $1250 for everything and they told me I also needed to bleed my breaks. After talking with another mechanic, this was not necessary unless the calipers were damaged which there were NOT. Called a different repair place and they quoted me $750 for everything. I told the man I would just come get the car. I get there and he rudely tells me I need to wait because they’re still, “putting my car back together.” I NEVER authorized anything to be taken apart. I asked for an oil change and to have my breaks LOOKED at. To look at breaks, at most, you may need to take the tires off. Not sure what they took apart that took over half an hour to put back together but definitely shady. I don’t know if you price gouge on principle or if you thought I could be taken advantage of since I was a woman, but regardless I was super disappointed and I will never be back.

It took 3 tries and thousands of dollars to fix the A/C in our truck. First it was one thing, then oops I guess it was something else, then oops again, we really believe now that it is this. Multiple weeks of trying to get things fixed and after the first try, it should have been a priority. The truck was in the shop over 2 weeks for the SAME THING!!! Does anyone there not actually sit in the vehicle to make sure the A/C that was blowing hot is fixed? Just a joke of a service department.

I think someone at reliable chevy does not like me. I bought a 17 model with 12000 miles on it. The transmission was bad when I got it but they insisted it was not. I told them every time I went in for a oil change like every 2 months but of course at 80,000 miles I was told i got a bad transmission and it would cost me 4000 bucks. After some choice words back and forth with corporate office I agreed to pay half. A little more than 2000. At 120,000 the transmission is bad again. So now against my good judgement {it was my birthday) I let them talk me into trading it in for a 2021. I was happy with the deal because they gave me 19,000 grand for my trade in. After some negotiating i finally give in and pay 3 grand for a down payment. Way over my budget but it was my birthday. A week goes buy and the have the nerve to call me back and say Oh we over estimated the trade in value. You owe us another grand or bring the truck back. Well after I threaten to go live when I return the truck they backed off and said they would hold up the deal. But the stress from start to finish, you deserve a -10 score. Im suposed to get a car wash because it wasnt done correctly when I bought it. They washed it but Daniel said the same thing when I bought it. Come back and we will detail and wash it better for free. Im thinking of going dodge next year. If you guys dont post this response, I hope someone see it and do better.

Check in was easy and quick. Had the timing belt replaced on my 2015 Chevy Sonic. Car is back on the road and ready to take on the next 100,000 miles. The repairs took a day longer than I was told. I would have liked a heads up that it was going to take longer, maybe an email or text or something. It was also a little unclear if appointments are necessary or if I should just drive in whenever Im feeling like getting maintenance done. Easy and quick check out.

SERVICE DEPARTMENT.I took my vehicle for a simple oil and transmission change. I had to bring my vehicle a 2nd time to the dealer because they left something loose causing transmission oil dripping in my garage. But then I found out (by my own mechanic (3rd time around)) that they had left something ELSE loose that eventually separated leaving me stranded in the middle of the road. I had NEVER had issues until I took my car for that oil change … so I suspected this had something to do with me taking my car to them that 2nd time around. And per my mechanic, it was! Service Department does not do good work and their employees have bad customer service.

First i called to see if my key warranty was going to cover me getting a new fob. I was told by the warranty company that Reliable Chevrolet should of giving me 2 sets of keys when i purchased the vehicle. I called my sales person Mike and he told me to talk to service. So i spoke with service at first he told me i did not have a warranty i told him yes i did. So then he looked it up again and found my warranty. He set me up an appointment for a week later with Duy. We brought my car in and were told that they did not have a key fob for my car and that they would have to order one. Why did they not do that prior. They had a whole week to take care of that. I drove from Garland to get my key. My husband told them that he would just leave my car there and he got an oil change and some other work done on it. I had to drive to Richardson from Garland to pick up my husband. I just do not understand if they knew we were coming in for a key a week prior and they knew what kind of car why did they not ask me what kind of key fob i had. Waste of our time.

Quality is NOT on Reliable Chevrolet body shops list of concerns, not even at the bottom. If you dont care about your car or the value of your car after theyre finished with it then find another body shop. I came to them with my older Camaro SS because they were a Chevrolet dealer and I thought they may actually give it a little bit more care being its a numbered, limited build Chevrolet vehicle than anyone else. NOPE! Couldnt have been more wrong. Every time the car went to them it came back wrong from leaving control arm bolts loose after an alignment to misaligned body panels, broken interior components to things like the radio and windows not even working any longer. IF I were to write it all this review would be too long for anyone to stay interested and probably already is. Just know this, they dont car how they do the job, they just want to do it as quickly as they can without ever even bothering to check if it was done right.

I purchased a 2020 Kia Sportage from the company. My credit union is my finance company. We make the deal on Tuesday and on Wednesday I went to pick up the car. Soon as I took off at the light Arapahoe and 75 the car started feeling a little weird. Got home which is a 5 min away I open the car door and the engine had a weird sound. I told my credit union the deal was off. I took the car back. Gave them the key and explain what I heard and the young man that was with TJ my sale person kept asking me what wrong withh car. I kept telling him to start the car. After this conversation repeated to many times I told him just start the #:!! Car. He got made and said I will not take this language Ill keep the key and you can go on. All this could have been avoided by just taking the key.

I had two appointments Reliable Chevrolet to repair a problem in the engine system in two last week . The problem is the engine shot off after breaking or its not working smoothly . After keeping my van at the shop for more than 1 week (This is my Business van). Unfortunately, the problem was not fixed and the same problem is still there. Went last week to look at a vehicle from their pre owned inventory. They showed me a vehicle even better, Larry was nice and extremely helpful helping me buy my first car from a dealer. Even though we stayed late and werent able to finish paperwork on day 1, they let me take the car home and asked me to come back the next day to wrap up the deal. This dealership showed me great hospitality and got me a great deal on my dream car. I will NEVER recommend this place nor will I purchase another vehicle from Reliable Chevrolet in Richardson. My husband and I bought a 2016 Chevy Malibu on May 7th and had nothing but trouble. Our story is a lot longer than this but here is a shorter version. Four days after purchase our Malibu was in their service department three times (sat there for weeks at a time) within the first 24 days, for the same electrical problems. The last time we brought the car into the service department it was there for 7 weeks! They still do not know what is wrong with the car or how to fix it. I reached out to  Derrek who is the General Sales Manager to inform him of our situation, after the third time we had to bring the car in. Derrek informed us our only option was to either trade the vehicle in (he will make sure to take care of us) or wait until the Malibu is fixed, which they have no idea when that would be. So in total, they had this vehicle for 54 days (give or take) and it was not drivable for a week before we could bring it back in to be serviced the last time. Meaning, we had the car for a total of 8 days but when I told him I want them to take the car back and pay off my loan, I was told they cannot do this. The reason they gave me was that it has been well past 30 days since purchase. Gary in the service department lacks communication and rarely updated us unless we reached out first. They had no idea what was wrong with the car and would always place the blame on waiting for GM to get back with them regarding what each error code meant and how to fix it. Our sales associate both times was Luis Torres who was ok as a sales consultant. Nothing great as far as customer service goes but nothing bad either. When we walked the lot the second time to find an appropriate vehicle for trade, Lou seemed as of we were a bother and someone he was forced to deal with. Mike (I am not sure of his title) is the associate we spoke with regarding papers and getting everything signed. He had an arrogant attitude and became defensive when I pointed out that I was upset that I paid two months on a vehicle that is non-drivable because of their mistake. Along with being told they will not give me my $200 back because this is what I paid in interest to the bank. Mind you, I wouldnt have been out of this money if they sold me a working vehicle. His response to this was, I am sorry, did we wreck this vehicle or something? Are you serious? Did anyone communicate with one another as to why we were there trading in a vehicle we just purchased! I had to repeat myself many times and explain my story to everyone we spoke with. They lack general knowledge as far as how to give customer service as all they kept telling us was things they couldnt do or how they are losing money on this deal. I strongly suggest that you never purchase a used vehicle with them. I am sure they have great sales associates for new cars or even used, but the associates and managers that I dealt with, need some serious training. I am a practical person and gave them nothing but my time and common courtesy to remedy their own mistakes but I was NEVER given the same in return. Upon arrival, neither Luis, Mike, or Derrek made any attempts to apologize in person or acknowledge why we were back to browse the lot for the second time. Had they given us better customer service I would have written a different review.

I spoke with Brian Prosser earlier in the week and needed a truck. Supply was down all over but Brian had one that fitted my needs. I had moved out of Dallas after being there all my life. Moved to the ranch during Covid so I was feeling a little panicked to find a truck. Brian directed me to get approved for the loan and I felt comfortable picking it up a few days later.Brian set me at ease and greeted my wife and I with open arms. Made us feel special and explained everything about the truck to me with an offer to call anytime if I need anything.My 4 adult sons know about Brian now and Ill be back to buy from him again.Blessings,Tom

This was the worst experience we have ever had getting our car serviced. Originally, I asked to bring my car in at 930 after I dropped off kids at school. We were told if we brought our car in at 8am that it would be done same day so my husband who worked night shift woke up after 4 hours of sleep to ensure the vehicle was there at 8am Friday. We received no call that day and any time we called it was “no one has looked at it yet”. Saturday was the same, we called and same answer “no one has looked at it yet”. Monday we called and they said 2nd in line. Around 3 Tuesday you called me and said it is done and would be ready for pick up in 1.5 hrs. At 530 we called saying we were coming to get the car and they said it’s not ready yet. At that point my husband said, we cannot rent a car any longer. Our car seats for our 3 children were left in our car because you originally said same day. A “same day” guarantee turned in to a 4 day ordeal. This should have been explained to us in the very beginning. They did not even look at our car until Monday so why was it even necessary to drop it off on Friday and pay to rent a car? Terrible customer service

They should rename this dealership to “Un-reliable Chevrolet”. I would NEVER buy a car from this dealership based on the experience my niece went through with them. She bought a used car a few mos ago. Three days after she brought the car home, it broke down. She brought it back to the dealership, they said they fixed it, she then drove it home and it broke down again the same day. This went on a few times after being told by the service department that it was fixed. None of the sales people or managers seemed to care or apologize for selling her a car that didn’t run and they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with the car despite having it in their service department for 7 weeks! Finally 2 mos after buying the car and having it sit in their service department the entire time, the dealership was forced to take the car back and sell her another car. She spent hours at the dealership AGAIN having to go through the entire credit check and finance discussions for another car. They seemed to be more concerned about being stuck with a car that they couldn’t resell instead of being concerned or apologetic about selling her a car that was unsafe to drive the first time. There were no apologies…..just statements from the dealership about how “they” were going to lose money on the original car she bought, bc they would have to sell it at auction. My niece had to constantly follow up with the sales manager during the 2 mos that they were supposedly “fixing” the car. My niece was more than patient for two mos while being jerked around by this dealership. They sold her a car with a lot of problems and then acted like “she” was the inconvenience for wanting a different car. By the way, the car she originally bought cannot be fixed. They were never able to figure out why it wouldn’t run. Managers and sales people at this dealership need to take some training classes on how to provide a better customer experience when things go wrong. They caused a great deal of unnecessary stress for my niece. She made a few car payments for a car that she was never able to drive bc of all its problems. They are fortunate that she was so patient bc most people would have probably hired an attorney to deal with these clowns.

My husband bought a vehicle through Luis Torres and it has been a nightmare. The 2013 Infiniti was listed for $12,795, he offered $3600 for the down payment but for some reason they asked for 4200. We agreed and paid the money. I just saw the account for the financing last night and saw that it was originally financed for 14,800 or something close. How’s that possible? Luis won’t return calls nor emails so I still have no clue what happened to the 4200 down payment. I’ll be speaking to my lawyer today about this until they either fix the financing or give us the down payment back.
