These guys are great. Very reasonable. Can do more than standard oil changes and inspections. 06.08.20 update: I continue to have incredible success with these guys. Super honest and reasonable. They have done things like change out the harmonic balancer on my old Toyota Highlander and keep her running like new. Way more skilled than the average shop or quick lube.

Ive been taking my car here since May of 2017. This past summer they tried to upsell me an air filter by telling me that it was missing. I declined it because it was strange since they were the last ones to touch the air filter since they were the last ones to do the oil change. I stopped by Auto Zone and discovered that the air filter was indeed there, so either they didnt do their jobs properly or they were trying to make a few extra easy bucks off of me. Either way, terrible.We all make mistakes, so I then I brought my car in for another oil change. After that, my brakes started to makes noises. Strange again, makes me wonder what they did to get me back to spend money on brakes now. So I let them take care of the problem, but they did some other work instead because the car is STILL making the same noise plus another noise. I brought the car to them and the younger man refused to fully test ride the car and didnt want to hear the noise. Very unprofessional. I gave them a chance to fix their mistake and they didnt. They wanted to charge me an additional $300+ to fix what they should have fixed to start with. Best decision I made was to refuse giving my money away. Wont be bringing my car here ever again.

Great quick and friendly service. I got my inspection done here and it was quick and easy. Called for an appointment and then showed up early and they let me in early. Its not a big or fancy place but it doesnt need to be. The girl at the counter and the mechanic were both friendly. Great experience and will definitely use this place in the future.

Had an appointment, major fail, service not available. Then they wrote to me to explain my review. I did, no reply. So removing 1 star as it seems to be a trend there. I am happy others have not had my problem.

Was able to make an appointment to get my state inspection done. The staff member I interacted with was extremely nice and even suggested a tax office to go to (which saved me a ton of time today). They did my state inspection quickly and they were very accommodating. Would definitely recommend this place to others and would use them again for future vehicle needs!

Trust this place to tell me the truth about my vehicle. They are not cheap, but not too expensive, and they are reliable. They will tell you what they find and what you can wait to have done and what is more urgent. Only place I would trust to take my car. As a single woman I have been ripped off at other places. A friend of mine that used to work on cars recommended them.

Had replaced my AC condenser, took it to get recharged. They were the best priced in the area, recharged it, tested it for leaks, and they used dye in the freon. Was told if for some reason I had an issue, to bring it back so they can leak check for free. Good customer service.

Had my engine replaced, first one they put in was bad.. in the end They had to replace my engine 3 times in 18 months. And gave me the attitude that i wasnt giving them a chance to fix the problem. 3 engines in 18 months.. id say thats plenty of chances.

My family and many friends have been going to Craig and Steve for nearly 20 yrs. The quality of their work is always high and they never recommend anything unnecessary. My only nitpick is they wont install parts a customer provides. They have to be from their sources so they can warrantee the parts and labor. Not an issue for most customers. They are always happy to take the time to explain the job and anwser all questions.

I found the guys at Star Auto Service to be very knowledgeable and their service to be reliable. I use them to service and repair issues with our trucks (which range in year from 2005 to 2013).

Ive had them do oil changes and emissions inspections, and theyve always been quick and courteous.

I went here for an auto inspection which failed, they told me that I can return for a re inspection at no charge. When was ready I called back & asked for a re inspection they asked me to come in. I drove 35mins to get there to find out that I had to pay again because my re inspection had expired. It would have been nice to be know that I would have to pay again before driving 35mins. My inspection needed a green sheet which could not have been done at the time, they went ahead and charged me for it & asked me to come back with the proper paperwork instead of getting payment once it was done. Desperate if you ask me, it was only $1 extra so I didnt care but it showed me how desperate this place was & would not trust them for an honest opinion when it comes to my car. I felt like I would be upsold if I brought my car back for other services.

At first..you will drive up and think WTH...its a old gas station converted to a shop....1st time here and will say was impressed. the owner cares about his customers and the quality or work done. He doesnt seem like the type that is there to rip you off. well he didnt me... i have a guy like this in arlington that ive used for over 20 yrs. Glad to know i have someone like this near my office now.
