The hot chocolate is great and the frappes are good! Id recommend the Irish cream, Mint truffle or Mexican Hot Chocolate. The only other thing Ive had at this location is the smoothy and it is really gross. Real fruit mix = liquid poured from a bottle that tastes kind of like a syrup version of the fruit. I started feeling really sick and didnt finish it. (Im not allergic to the contents. That experience was today, things have been better in the past and I preferred the other Rexburg location back when it was open). Otherwise, a nice hot/cold drink place.

The cupcakes and cookies are all really tasty I couldn’t even wait to eat it to take a picture! Great desserts you’ve got to try. The drinks range from ok to pretty good. I’ve been to this location many times due to convenience and it always seems like a gloomy place. The lights inside the booth are never on except for the display out front and I never see anyone wear gloves to grab my items. Maybe they are discrete about it but I guess it’s only a couple germs. The staff is usually pleasant but always on their phone waiting until the last possible moment to serve you.

I have tried cocoa beans various times over my 8 years in Rexburg. So over the time I have seen how the cupcakes changed. They use to be huge, big enough my roommates and I would go get one and split it for dinner. They were so moist and had the best fillings. If you havent seen from other reviews they are no longer like this. The cupcakes have shrunk, theyre dry, and they never have fillings.I went recently with my husband after about a 3 year break from them. We were really craving something sweet and we were both super let down. We got dry cupcakes and what they dub frappes which really was just iced milk (isnt a frappe suppose to be creamy?)I cannot speak for their ice cream. But they do really nail the hot chocolate.Overall pretty disappointed. Also we loved the older location in town. Having to drive near the college and find parking is always a nightmare.

This is the place I go when I have a lot to do and not enough motivation to do it. I get a lot done sipping on a hot chocolate.I recommend the Mexican one, the Irish cream, and the mint. The caramel apple one is like apple cider and hot chocolate had a love child.

The service put a bad taste in my mouth.Its hard to get desert wrong, but when its served like your existence is a major inconvenience, the taste lingers.

The one on College Ave is better, the employee that helped me at the location was rude, made me feel like I was an annoyance to her. She also broke part of my cupcake off when she grabbed it and didn’t care. Overall the cupcakes can be good if they are fresh but most of the time they taste old, like they’ve been sitting out for a few days

They have good hot chocolate, especially the Artisan Mexican Chocolate. Ive also heard their frappes are really good.

Came in Saturday night, Great service and great cupcakes! The girl working was super friendly and helped me decide what to get.

I tried the grasshopper cupcake and I absolutely LOVED it! The employees were so kind, and helped me with my decision. Being my first time trying them. Delicious cupcakes moist and full of flavor!

First off The Madagascar Vanilla Bean cupcake is so delicious my favorite cupcake I’ve ever had! I’ve also had their drinks, cookies and ice cream. Everything is super delicious and the employees are always really nice.

It’s okay. Cookies and cupcakes are dry but the ice cream flavors are good.

We got three types of cupcakes and all of them tasted basically the same, no real flavor to them. And the two types of hot chocolate I have gotten there one was bitter like coffee and it was supposed to be salty caramel, the other flavor they put so much sugar in it I got a stomach ache and it had no flavor other than just straight sugar.

I got a cupcake and a cookie and both tasted like they had been sitting for a few days. Definately not worth it, spend your money somewhere else.

I love Cocoa Bean cupcakes. But if you are going to buy one, go to the other Rexburg location. Frequently, there are employees from other areas of the food court serving cupcakes at this location that dont use gloves while packaging the cupcakes etc. The other evening, I was disgusted to see that the gal serving the cupcakes was sick (runny nose, hacking, etc.) texting on her phone, and when she reached over to get a cupcake, she coughed everywhere, neglected to use to easily accessible gloves right on the counter, and served up a cupcake, probably with a side of her own personal germs. Not very appetizing.

Their pastries/sweet treats are not good! They taste super plasticky!! Go to the Cocoa Lodge it’s way better

This is a far better location than the one by The Craze. Employees are nice and the treats have always been good quality.

Got one of their italian sodas, it was amazing, a bit too sweet for my taste, but flavor was kickin.

Expensive items. Has delicious treats regardless of price, especially the Italian sodas.

Tried giving this location another try, but once again the cupcakes were really dry and the drink tasted like they watered it down. When I brought it up to the lady at the register, she just shrugged me off like wasnt her problem.
