Its always consistent from store to store! I will say I do love the upgrades. They really take the experience to the next level.

In and out everything we wanted. This store is always nice.

Was a quick trip. Used the curb side pick for groceries. They do an excellent job. Our order was ready, loaded, on our way back home all in about fifteen minutes.

I am only leaving one star because zero stars is not an option. After picking up nearly $400 worth of items, I was then given the task of being my own cashier. Walmart used to have a human touch to it but that is no longer the case. If I wanted to be a cashier at Walmart, I would have applied for a job. I will be looking for a new place to purchase my groceries and other items.

EVERY single time I do a OGP order, it goes through and charges me for it AND says it’s ready for me, however when I get there to pick it up and check in, I am always told they don’t have it and that the system crashed. No matter what time I schedule, I ALWAYS get the excuse that their system crashed and it is ALWAYS the time that I scheduled. Do better.

They have completely changed the inside of the store

Clean and bright. Bathroom was clean and stocked.

They are in the middle of a remodel. I hope when they are done they are better stocked. The store is always clean & the employees have always been really nice.

Full disclosure, I dont like Wal-Mart. But sometimes I have to go there to avoid driving out of town to get what I need.Used the Wal-Mart pickup for a few items. The order time was about to expire but I had received no notification. I checked the app- the order is being prepared. So I called them. They said oh, for some reason, our customers are not getting the order is ready notification today. We dont know why.Well, why not have someone grab a list and call the customers and let them know? You have the phone numbers from the app. Seems like a simple common sense fix until the app is working. Maybe thats too simple.

I love how they pay, greeters who sit and stare at you as you walk in. Im sure there isnt an empty register they could be running.

Do not like self checkout. Always have to wait for help. Not enough area to wait for open self checkout register backs up too many people close together in walkway. Forces everyone to leave from one gate that is too small crowded. No social distancing possible. Gives employees time to stand around and profile customers.

I went in, bought what I wanted, and then realized I locked my keys and phone in my truck. When I went back in to customer service, 1st the employee didnt know how to make an out going call. So then next highest came over and proceeded to tell me she only calls across the store. 4rd now! The manager. Told him the same story. When he tried to dial the number he said he cant call long distance. I said I live a half mile away and its a cell phone. We have no landlines. Ge smiles and chuckles and says theyre too old-school so I asked where a payphone was. His smile left, he said he couldnt help me, and every employee proceeded to walk away and leave there, by myself, with nothing, but a try Papa Murphys,or something. I dont know. I called corporate and they agreed with me and said that wad handled completely wrong and then asked me 4 the managers name. I didnt get it because 8 was in shock! But I sure as hell gave a perfect physical description of him!

It was a good experience up until I walked on this worker in which they were bout closed and he was off the clock... this ole boy was mad jacking the heck out of him self. I was a little up set he stated that he worked in the deli. Then he washed his hands and I thought that was pretty awesome...

Was in a good mood this morning until I went to Walmart in Republic walked in and said good morning to the Lady by the carts and she absolutely said nothing to me some people!!!

Republic MO Walmart is one of my 5 top Walmarts in the Springfield MO area. Of the 5, Springfield itself has no Walmarts o that list

This place seems better stocked then the one near us

They will never stop moving products around the store, making it impossible to find ANYTHING! This needs to stop. It seems as if Walmart doesnt want anyones business when they have 12 lanes with no to check you out on them only offering self check out. I am NOT paying Walmart to do their employees job of checking me out. I think that communist are running Walmart and getting a laugh at our expense.

45 min wait in cashier lines. We wait in line 6 where colton was the cashier he is finishing up with the person in front of us then after 45 minutes waiting in his line he proceeds to NOW TELL US THAT HE HAS TO GO ON BREAK or his supervisor will be mad, Im sure his supervisor will be happy that he just lost a $100+ purchase and says that you will have to go to another aisle as they are all full out to the walkway. Plus there was a lady waiting with little children waiting there with at least 15 minutes behind us and another lady waiting behined her. I am a usual and go to that walmart almost exclusively but I guess we will just go to Aldis which is conveniently also in Republic dont expect me to ever be back.Thank you colton!

Missing alot of stuff. We now have to ring up our own stuff. The prices have all gone up we bag our own purchase. Why not go to a higher priced stuff. You can still get the ringing up and bagging of the purchases.

1st... 2 hour wait to have oil change when they had 4 ppl on duty. 2nd... I went to buy my oil and filter for my car. I had to have a associate from Walmart okay the sale. Need to say I wont be back to that Walmart in Republic Missouri

Update 10-6-21: they brought the cashiers back. I go to Walmart again. Yippie!!Since Im elderly and handicapped and Walmart no longer has cashiers so I never go inside the store. However, what I do love about Walmart is that Walmart is home delivery. They bring it right to my door and this I really like. I pay an annual fee and theres no other charge for the rest of the year unlimited home deliveries the only cost that I might consider would be the tips that I leave. But its the same attitude I have when Im in a restaurant ... I tip.

The guy who checked me out had NO IDEA what he was doing. It was like they never even trained him, it took forever to ring up my items, n I guess he was distracted trying to work this stupid computer thing, while making sure no to skip ringing any items up or ring them up twice. My eggs and bread for smashed. I swear they must not pay their checkers very well, its like the guy didnt even work there... Oh yeah, that guy was me. I dont work there, that didnt train me, and they dont pay me. I think they should go back to paying somebody to do that.

They are still getting rid of a lot of brand name items and replacing with great value stuff that is lower quality.

I was denied use of an open register because I chose to gather my products without using a cart. Only reason yall get two stars is because of the people who have done a finominal job on the floors.

Its Walmart. They have what I need and at a decent price. The customers always suck but, thats what makes Walmart.

I shop here often but only gave it three stars because they are very often out of the items Im shopping for. It may be due to their selling out as they are usually quite busy. They need to work on restocking faster moving items during the day and being better organized.

Great store with cost competitive inventory.

Room was fine, shuttle to airport was on time. Hotel restaurant is closed. Sunday and Monday. No place to eat if you have no car.

I purchased a gift card for my daughter. The card was compromised and hacked within a couple of hours. Walmart admitted that it was fraud (and this has happened a lot) but they did absolutely nothing to rectify the situation. DONT PURCHASE THEIR GIFT CARDS!!!!!!!#noaccountability #nocustomerservice

The Electronics department employees and the new hire was especially nice! When we had trouble with our payment and management was called in fact they were called multiple times they never showed up,nor any team lead. so, we had to walk to the customer service and wait in line to get more help and were met with kind people but the machines wont accept a NEW VALID missouri drivers license. We probably spent an hour and a half trying to get the machines to work correctly. Not satisfied at all with how their systems were operating but were completely satisfied with the employees help besides the management and Team leads.

Shelves are only half full, not sure what is going on there. Clerk at checkout didnt even say hello to us. He was also very slow, but I figured he might be new. Hopefully they will get a shipment in to restockthe shelves. Store was clean but most of the hand sanitizing stations were empty.

Once upon having Autumn registers if youre not going to open them Im busy times in all your employees aint even on the same track of where everything is so maybe you need to let them know or have everybody on the same page or where everything is

First off, I would just like to say it’s quite ridiculous that I have to give this place even 1 star to write this. Anyways, the shelves are always half empty, and while buying milk last week I found 2 gallons of milk that were expired. Alongside the disappointment of the merchandise, the employees are very disrespectful. The cashiers were the only ones who even said hello. It’s obvious the managers are only there for money and not the overall wellness of their customers AND employees.

Employees were polite and helpful when I was trying to find something not a fan of self check out but thats not employees fault I guess just new norm

There are times when you just wish that you could give a company negative stars. Walmart continues to be that type of business. Walmart has become so big that they no longer concern themselves with things as trivial as customer service. I for the most part avoid Walmarts self service, pay us for the honor of shopping here policies. There are times when I am with someone who wants to go to Walmart and I find myself in the chaos that is Walmarts check yourself out program. The registers fail at least once every time you use them. The security tags require the employees to touch nearly every transaction anyway. The only difference is there is only one attendant working a dozen registers. A timely visit is out of the question, a virtual impossibility. Way to go Walmart is once again making a negative impact on the way Americans live. People talk about carbon footprints, vital though it is, there are other types of footprints that damage our way of lives. We are all very much aware of what the massive impact Walmart has had on small businesses. I tremble to think of the impact Walmarts social footprint is going to leave for our young.

Very disappointed! The shelves are barren most of the time and it is getting worse. I always have to shop at another store to complete my weekly shopping because of this. I have complained to the mgr several times but always the same excuse, that Corp does the ordering and they have no control! HEY CORP, GIVE YOU MGRS CONTROL OVER THEIR INVENTORY! YOU ARE LOSING CUSTOMERS!

It’s Walmart what can I really say

Store is always clean. Most generally people seem happy to be at work. Isles are always crowded being stocked; yet things never seem to be in stock... We asked for help getting an item off the top shelf on the mustard isle, the closed person was stocking a cooler. Instead of just getting the item for us, he went walking around looking for someone else to help us. Impression we got... Not his job... In the mean time, we asked another customer to help us reach the item, he was more than happy to do so...

Its 3 Star rating because the employees still dont have good health coverage or get paid enough. WalMart literally gets billions of dollars from the government, they need to use that to pay their workers.Its a WalMart, so you know what youre getting. Maximum Star rating for the employees. The older lady in the bakery, today, April 23rd, 2021 was the rudest employee. From the the very start. If I spoke and acted as such, I would be without a job. Maybe someone needs to remind her of what customer service is and the customers are the reason she has a paycheck and a job. She needs to stop ruining other peoples day. I doubt anything will be done. Walmart is not known for good service

We needed to try on some jeans. We had put this off for a while and dreaded it. 😃 Fortunately the ladies at the dressing room were really nice. Unfortunately the people who were stocking the store were less than polite 🙁

For a small Walmart they are surprisingly well stocked. Usually have everything I need. Sometimes they have things the larger Walmart in Republic doesnt have.

Still not stocking shelves full, has been several months of not having a lot of stuff. We refuse to use the self check.

Everything in stock. Relevant products in easy to reach places for the holidays. Plenty of cashiers open. Bathrooms were clean. Produce was fresh. Prices were fairly low.

There werent very many open cash registers. We checked ourselves out. The shelves in the store were a mess and the selection in most areas of the store were limited ( lots of empty spaces)

At this place you will find anything and the employees are superb beyond the regular supermarket assistant or help, they truly go out their way to find you items that are hard to find.

My wife is a manager here at the Republic Missouri Walmart and my experience there is always pleasant LOL but really its one of the better run Walmarts Ive been in and very clean

No cashiers, now, not only youbpay full price for your purchase, you have to work for Walmart. So if you want to work (without pay) for a great company that wont hire you, they do not need cashiers anymore, work for Walmart...

One door was closed so you had to walk the entire length of the store...It was extremely hot inside even the employees were complaining... and I really dont want to have to check myself out...I hope I never have to go back...

You would certainly think if they are closed all night that they would actually stock the shelves during that time. Instead they are doing it during public hours and I certainly cant see where they are cleaning overnight. I fail to understand how they could constantly be out of Kleenex ultrasoft. We dont use that to flush. 🤣 They actually have much more toilet paper than they do Kleenex. 🤔 Unfortunately, Walmart carries one or two items that I cannot find elsewhere. Otherwise I would never shop in your store.

Walmart corporation does not follow CDC guidelines and will not clean each time a patron goes through the self-serve or the service check out lanes I question them they said were doing our best no CDC guidelines says must clean after each customer do your part Walmart do your part youre worth bands of dollars you can take time to clean after each customer to stop the spread of pandemic youre killing Americans and spreading disease

Mount Vernon Walmart never has what you need. They also only have two registers with cashiers to check you out, all the rest are shelf checkouts.
