Here comes my promised 5star! Found this place on Instagram, ordered a mousse cake for my daughter’s 100days. Marina is so nice, she offered and helped with carrying the cake to my car, since I need to take care of the baby. The place is a little hard to find, it’s inside DK Market, need to make a right turn when you get into the market. The cake is pretty and so delicious! All the guests who came to the party love the cake❤️ I was a little worried about the size at the very beginning to be honest, but after communicated with Marina, the cake shared well-fit for everyone (11 adults, 4kids), and no extra left! Last, “YES” for recommended👍

I found Silky Cakes while searching the web for macarons. I saw their beautiful cakes and we decided to order one for Valentines Day instead of the typical ice cream cake we usually get. We did not regret it or the drive out, which happened to be during a snow storm. Since it happened to snow the weekend the cake was scheduled to be picked up. Masha communicated and let us know she would be open and to take our time. Masha puts pride in her cakes from the aesthetic of the outside to the wonderful deliciously light mousse on the inside. Since I didn’t really know how to order or what to order we went with one of the more popular flavors and ordered a white chocolate mousse with a strawberry smoothie filling and I can see why it is a favorite. It was devoured. If you are looking for an elegant and decadent cake Silky Cakes is the place. The cake is a piece of art and will surely impress.

Guided me through the ordering process and communicated promptly via text! She sent photos and was able to work with adjustments.My husband enjoyed how the unique the cake looked and so did our guests. The cake itself was also well done. It was very flavorful but not sweet- just the way wed like it to be. Not sugary like most cakes in the market.My only feedback - cake menu and store was a bit difficult to find but just reach out to Marina. She is excellent and always ready to help. I would definitely order again and already cant wait for my next cake!

My partner surprised me with Mashas beautiful silky cake on my birthday this year. The flavors were chocolate mousse with a passion fruit filling. I loved it so much that for my partners birthday the following week, I had to get another one with other flavors! The flavors I requested were white chocolate mousse & raspberry/matcha filling. I also had to get the honey cake sold in the shop.Masha was a pleasure to work with. We had her surprise us with the colors of the cakes and she did not disappoint. This is my favorite place to go for cake now. If you like cakes that are light, fluffy and delicious, please get these amazing silky cakes! We will definitely come back, craving for more.

Silky cakes are so delicious and beautiful. The colors are so unique, it’s like looking at a piece of art. I recently purchased 3 of the smaller passion fruit and mango mousse cakes for my husband’s birthday and took them into the restaurant we were celebrating at and they thought the cakes were beautiful. They are so unique. The baker is a master and takes a lot of pride in her cakes. They are wonderful and tasty. The flavor is absolutely delicious and creamy. I highly recommend them.

OMG! It was my very first time ordering these mouse cakes but they were to die for. I ordered a white chocolate strawberry for my sons mickey mouse themed birthday and everyone couldnt stop talking about them. I will definitely be ordering some more. Theyre pretty hard to find (enter the supermarket, turn right, go past the herb shop, theyre the store labeled euro deli), but the cakes are gorgeous and delicious! Ill have to call in advance next time to get some custom flavors 😍 check out this same-day order they did for me!

Normally never review a place, but this lady on the phone was so rude and unprofessional. Called to clarify an order, but due to circumstances didnt get placed which was fine couldve been short and quick to say sorry but we dont bake until paid and need a week in advance, but my mom who ordered got different instruction, that the payment needed to be made by thursday.Miscommunication on their behalf i assume, doesnt change the fact that this lady yelled into the phone and had no business being so crass and rude. Thankful we didnt get our cake made from this business.

I ordered a birthday cake here for my wifes birthday last month. The owner replies fast to requests via Facebook and really easy to work with.There are many flavors to choose from. I ordered passion fruit and Mango. The cake is not overly sweet unlike other American cakes. The best part is the decoration. She is very skilled and can customize any requests. We already have another cake on order for this month!

I asked for Seahawks colors and the design was beautiful - it was exactly what I wanted. I messaged Silky Cakes on a social media platform and Marina was really easy to work with. SilkyCakes is an absolute gem in this area! Be sure to call ahead to give Masha a few days to prepare the cakes.The mirror glaze that is put on top of the cakes is the stuff of dreams. Shes willing to put almost any color you can think of on the cake and make it look beautiful. With an array of so many flavors and colors to choose from, itll keep you coming back for more without ANY hesitation.Not to mention that aside from the cakes you need to call in for - she also has traditional Russian cakes in the fridge in the back from time to time. Do yourself a favor and try those just once, and I promise you that youll want to keep going back for more! Im convinced that everything Masha bakes is astoundingly delicious.

I was so excited to come across Silky Cakes Instagram! She makes unique custom cakes that are almost too beautiful to eat... and they are delicious as well. What I like about it is the lightness of the cake and it is not too sweet. You can also choose from sooo many different flavors. She is also super easy to work with. Finding Silky Cakes in Seattle has been the best in this COVID-stricken year! Marina kindly crafted a cake for my 31st birthday and that cake really set the ball rolling for a beautiful day. I opted to leave the choice of flavors to her judgement, but did share a pic from one of her past creations (I essentially fell in love with a blue/white marbled cake.). Marina also kindly guided me about an allergen free cake (eggs, nuts) and I was glad she could create something so beautiful with my needs in mind. She was quick to communicate, The flavors were wonderful, the cake was absolutely fresh and we were left craving for more. Highly recommend Silky Cakes!
