Shopped here for 5 years. This store is well kept and you never worried of harassment when outside the store but, in the past couple of months Fred Meyer has welcomed at&t to harass their loyal customers inside the store. Come on Kroger, you are better than this. We accepted longer lines since covid but now harassment when trying to leave. Makes it feel more like a Walmart.

Irene from your floral department in Renton WA is one of the kindest, personable and heartwarming employees I’ve ever met at Fred Meyers. Irene was willing to help me wrap my bouquet of flowers even after she clocked out for the day and she did it with a smile on her face! Not only with a smile, but the joy and energy she brings to others is what makes Irene such an asset to your Fred Meyers team. I shop here on a regular basis. I like going when they first open so you can take your time. With COVID-19 it is a lot more saver. Overall I like the store and its employees. It has been really busy due to the storage of help, but they get it done. Just be patient! ☺️

Normally a good place to shop. But this evening it was ruined by the discrimination of Paris. She started by coming up to my family in self checkout and telling us with a very condescending tone and lots of attitude to move your cart over more (there was plenty of space and 2 kids in the cart very prone to touching buttons as is normal of toddlers) you are causing a traffic jam. The way she said this was very rude. I commented she could ask us kindly and without attitude to my family. But this was only the beginning. She then proceeded to come up to us, state the last 3 items you scanned did not scan because of the screen that was up. She then typed in her override code using her middle finger to send our transaction to her station. When she was calmly asked to please use a different finger to type her code in she blatantly said excuse me? You can leave. When asked why we are paying she walked away and called loss prevention officers on us claiming that we were using curse words and profanity against her and that we were yelling at her. Then Paris (whom claims to be a manager) just walked away leaving loss prevention and another associate to assist us. She was very rude and discrminated against a family of color.

This store seems to think its OK to close even though the Internet says theyre open theyre online phone service says theyre open and their store hours are indicated as still to be open during this time and they are not open there are people standing at the door waiting at the door knocking at the door nobody is responding nobody is coming out to say the store is closed but it is, not gonna shop here again waste of my time.

I love the store I get all my sea food from here a wide variety of seafood and fresh vegetables. They have a food court Ive never tried it.

This is a great store. Its larger than most stores in the area. Along with an extensive selection of quality foods, it offers household goods, gardening supplies and pharmacy services.

Not a very inviting atmosphere. Very chaotic. Somewhat clean considering.

Came here at 10pm because they close at 11pm. The security guard and a worker were blocking the front door because they didnt want a man pushing a shopping cart in and said they were closed. So youre lying and turning away customers?! There were 3 different people walking up along with me!

They have a surprising habit of losing my HRT at the pharmacy, for the first year I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but after accidentally de-transitioning twice because they just casually said I did not have my prescription despite my doctor saying it was there, Im getting really sick of their lies.Absolutely do not trust this place, the 1 star reviews here speak volumes. Do not trust the staff here at all, theyre just over-worked and do not care. I will be so happy to be rid of this place once I move. Horrible experiences overall.

Sold me a defective huffy granite mountain bike for 119.00 + tax. It came to 145.00 with my lock after taxes.original price was 179.00. recently tried calling to return or exchange the item and they refuse to answer their phones. They hang up each time i call. The bike doesnt move when i go to pedal the bike. All the chain does is rotate without bike movement making a grinding noise. either this bike was sold before i bought it and it came back defective and they refused to fix the problem and put it back out on the the sales floor for resale after the return or it was poorly put together all together by some one in the assembly department. i want a new bike or my money back thank you

The store is well organized, best selection of products. A bit pricey but worth the quality and good services, very convenient one stop to shop and pump gas if you have their reward card

I think that they have a good produce section. They also have many good sales week to week. You should get their shopper card for all the specials.

In general shopping at Fred Meyer is a pleasant experience ( funny thing is where i grew up in Michigan we had a Meyers too but it was Frederick Meijers- the 1st big box store even before walmart). Speaking of Walmart - their prices are a bit lower on some things like canned vegetables for 50 cents each versus $1 at meyer. & i bought 2 boiled eggs at meyer - no price tag - i figured it CANT be more than a buck 💸but it was $2 - thats ridiculous for 2 eggs 👎 . but good atmosphere at Meyer - employees are nicer than Walmart 👍. Also natural peanut butter (NO sugar,salt, or corn syrup) is better deal at Meyer 💡. Speaking of peanuts, Why is it getting so difficult to buy plain shelled peanuts in a jar without added chemicals or cornstarch etc ❓Bring back plain peanuts without preservatives - everywhere. We DONT need nor want canola oil or corn starch etc added to every single item 🚫

This is a nice Fred Meyer store in a great location. Their emoloyees treated us very well as we furnished our new apartment from this store.We tried the other Fred Meyer near IKEA, but that store was the opposite, dirty and rude with horrible employees, who fud their very best to be terrible people.This is a good, clean and well stocked store. I love shopping @ Fred Myers. The only problem i have is receiving Customer Service. Yes, theres a lot of workers, but example; Vista Optical... i asked a question regarding scratch proof glasses, or eliminating fog wipes... the man workers just looked @ me & walked away without saying a word. Very Rude & Unprofessional... in the Apparel dept. I Caucasian young blond hair was walking by as we asked for help, she literally told me NO, I CANT...

I shop this store every Saturday. The store is very well organized, although the meat department counter definitely needs some serious attention. I normally buy all my meats and 2 steaks upon shopping. As for the steaks I will ask them to cut them in half since they are to thick which is never a problem. Well today was the problem, the woman behind the counter, yes I will mention her name (Liz) was the rudest ever. When I asked her the cut them in half her response was why do you want them cut in half? Me, they are 2 thick for us. Liz, well we dont do that, Me, well they do it all the time, Liz, well we dont do that. And here is the sad part, Liz has done it in the past for us. That is very poor customer service. Hopefully management looks into this!

Today I was there right after they opened. I went first to see if they had a certain kind of spray paint. They did but I had to use their in house phone to get someone to come and open the paint cabinet. I grabbed 2 of what I wanted and then the clerk tried to grab them back from me to take them up to the front. Ive already waited 10 minutes for him to come help me, wasnt wanting to wait another 10 for someone else to find them for me. I had other shopping to do told him they would be ok in my cart and I would pay for them with my other purchases. Not a big deal but but he could have approached it in a much better way so that I didnt feel like I was stealing them.

Little to no help on finding an item or getting assistance at the paint center you are essentially on your own or you have to wait thirty minutes for someone to come help you. Your “please lift phone” thingy should just be thrown away at this point, it’s useless. Don’t be sorry do better. I literally had to call two times and still received no service from you guys.

Okay, so Im not from here... The store looks nice I guess, but looks like they expect people to steal everything. I have never in my life seen a gate to get into a section of a store or jeans locked up before 🤔 pretty crazy. And the bathroom is a disaster.

I was disappointed when I picked up food Tuesday February, 23 and ask for Jo Jos. I ask for a lb of the big ones because the small ones are always hard. The lady looked at me and said, you dont think Im gonna pick out a lb of the big ones, I said well give me a half a lb. She glared at me and I said your suppose to please the customer. I shopped there a lot of time

Sale prices are only with a Fred Meyer card, and they cant give you one here unless you wait in line first at a special register. I waited there for 27 minutes and still couldnt get one. I will never be back to Fred Meyer!

Please adjust your closing hours. Very misleading that your hours state you close at 11pm when I just got turned away at 10:17pm.

Wal-Mart is a great place to get just about anything you need for your house and garden!! I love this store and the prices.

Had me waiting in the customer service line for over 45 min for a lady who keep having declined cards, with just one cashier which made them have two more cashiers when it’s finally my turn the guys says waits to we call u when he just waved me down then have the nerve to walk away and handle some other stuff and talking with guns co workers no this is just hella ghetto and unprofessional for me and just lazy

Fred Myers blocking there doors due to job cuts and only allowing access to one side of a 60,000 sqft store in Renton. If there was a fire, a shooting, or any reason to escape your done. This only happens on the poor sides of town. I watched seniors struggling in this heat to get there groceries as the store was packed and only one door open. I talked to the Manger politely he said To many thieves in this neighborhood, not enough money for staff its about protecting the store.

My place for poke, teas, green tea ice cream, produce and more. Service is always excellent.

During 20 mins in the store saw 5 adults without masks, no acknowledgement or intervention from employees. Store also crowded to the point that social distancing was impossible. So many folks in the store there were no carts left. This isnt safe and you need to do better.

The center store manager Joe is a fine young man. He has a nice smile as well. Smells good too.

I would like a more complete department in woman’s clothing that won’t take me out of the FMBr@nds or store. I want to use my FredMeyer Gift Card to buy my poncho, cape or whatever in the clothing store that FM has to offer. Can you help me.?

I like the variety of Fred Meyer Stores! This store is no exception. Friendly staff

Decent variety, decent size, decent prices, nice folks. All around an acceptable grocery store. I like that it has a clothing department and stuff so you dont necessarily have to go to Wal Mart down the road for your everything in one place kind of shop.

Gas pumps are the slowest Ive ever seen. And all there weights and measure stickers past due?

We generally love Fred Meyer, but in the middle of a pandemic its really hard as a healthcare worker to look at employees handling food and not wearing masks, or wearing masks under their chins. We have moved to online ordering only at this point (elsewhere) because we cant stomach watching people breathe all over food containers with masks under their chins.So avoidable!!

Why didnt I think of shopping here...duh. Dish out your moms favorite prices at Kroger by shopping at Fred Meyer. As if thats not enough of an incentive, their fresh produce bags must really be! The starbucks here - was messy. It appeared they had a flood and they seemed disoriented towards customers. I will be coming back.

In my local area I prefer going to the Renton Free Meyer versus the Safeway simply for the amount of options they have. The produce is typically fresh the fish is good but gets backed up on the weekends pretty good and the organic section cant be beat. If Im not getting something quick I be prefer feed Meyer 9 times out of 10

Good store

This is my go-to grocery store in Renton. Great deals on craft beers, average gas prices, large variety of flowers and wide variety of products. I can get all items from my grocery list here. Cashiers are always kind and speedy with checkout. Theres usually a wait for customer service, but I feel thats the same everywhere. While theres plenty of parking, be careful because some people speed through.

Typically very friendly staff. Quite impressed overall!

Ive always enjoyed great customer service here. Once, the gentleman who worked there let me try the different types of apples they had on stock until I found my favorite kind. So sweet. Love their layout also.

I love Fred Meyers in general. Their produce is always fresh, their service is always friendly. Im not so sure about their seafood. I do appreciate their cleanliness and well stocked isles. Their gardening options are abundant and everyone is eager to help you. Would not shop in their clothing department, too pricey.

Not crowded. Short lines. Slightly on the pricey side, but thats what keeps the crowds down. Added benefit: there is a Chase bank & ATM inside the store. Nice folks, too. Very friendly & helpful.

Security guard Weaver is inside with no mask on. No hand sanitizer anyways. This place is like a Trump rally. A breeding ground for Covid19. I guess the security guard doesnt know that its a misdemeanor crime to not wear a mask in a public place. Really disgusting.

If I could give this place negative hundred stars, I would. Horrible employees, even worse managers and supervisors! They told me over the phone that they price matched with best buy, and when I got there they acted like I was crazy. I waited for more than half an hour while they ran around like headless chickens! They couldnt figure out how to do a simple price match. This is the worst Fred Meyer I have been to!

Bathrooms are dirty

This particular Fred Myers is not the best when it comes to cleanliness. The staff can be difficult to find, or get help from. That being said it is one of there larger locations and typically have everything you need. I would recommend going earlier in the day, as there is alot of people that just hang out in the parking lot at night. There are definitely better alternatives in the area.

You can find anything from furnishing 🛋your home 🏡 tending to your yard 🌳🐿dressing yourself 👖 👗 throwing a party 🎉 🎂preparing your daily meals🍱🥗filling your prescriptions getting your daily fix☕️getting your eyes 👀 checked 👨🏻‍⚕️having someone watch your kids 👶🏻 sending money to your kids in college 💸👩🏼‍🎓buying the winning ticket 💰finding fun natural and organic items 🥑🍇deposit your paycheck 💳 or asking your girlfriend to marry you 💍 and yet it’s not overwhelming or cold.

The workers were so friendly and the store is structured so nicely. People negotiate their carts well, so there arent any isle blockades. It was an amazing experience. Clean restrooms, different child care facilities for if youre shopping at a crowded time. Huge gaming/electronic selection! And even more clothing apparel. 10/10 would recommend coming here for any errands of any sort!

Love this store, this is my favorite store! Its clean, well stocked, great workers and has everything you need. You can buy a couch or a tomato. A tent or a taco. Perfect location, parking and now they have a gas station. Yay

Renton FM is my grocery of choice. However, I have a dairy allergy and their non-dairy options on certain things are limited which forces me to shop at other grocers for those things. There is a good selection of non-dairy milk, butter and ice creams but very limited on non-dairy cheeses, sour creams and yogurts.

If I could give store a zero rating I would.Manager, clerks etc could care less that were in the middle of a pandemic. No cleaning between customers in cashier area..conveyer belt not clean...no hand sanitizer etc.

I like Fred Meyer. Its a friendly place with LOTS of stuff in it. The home furnishings, hardware and apparel sections are quite complete, not to mention the full grocery supermarket at its core. Though owned by a national chain, it retains a down-home feel and is agreeably more low-key than Walmart or Target. The grocery prices arent good enough to make it my primary store, but I do visit weekly and its always worth it!

Its pretty much a one-stop shop for clothes, groceries, home and garden items.My favorite thing about it is the complimentary childcare. Its a small area with tons of toys, coloring and a small TV if kids want to watch a cartoon or kids movie. You can put your child in (2-4yo) for an hour while you shop. So convenient! I cant remember the name of my favorite attendant, but I know she wears glasses.On top of the different departments I already listed, theres a jewelry section, a Chase bank, hot/cold deli section, sushi chef, seafood/fresh meats, pharmacy, eye care center and electronics (which has its own entrance and cashier). You can also get keys made in the home/garden section. They sell furniture and home improvement items. They sell shoes and apparel on the other side, alongside cosmetics. And I cant forget the adjoining Starbucks that also has an entrance to the store.Also if you shop here, you can rack up gas points and get cheap gas outside in their fuel station across the parking lot. Ive never had any issues with customer service. Theyre all nice and accommodating.

I love coming here for the bulk bins (they have spices/herbs too!) and for the natural foods section. Almost as good of a selection as something like PCC or Whole Foods, just smaller scale and cheaper too. Decent selections for vegan substitutes like mayo, cream cheese, and yogurt.

Not as nice and friendly as my local Fred Meyers but it works just the same.Nothing to boast about and really nothing much to complain about.This location does have gas and the whole super store availability unlike the smaller locale down the street.Starbucks located inside as well and lots of parking.

This Fred Meyer in generally well laid out and easy to navigate. We get groceries here weekly and prices are good, quality is good. I wish they had hot salsa, but that is my only problem with this store.

Shelves and produce is usually well stocked. And even at the busier of times, you can still get in and out of the store pretty quick! Staff is pretty friendly.

Only been here a few time. I gave 4 stars because I dont recall anything exceptional that stood out for 5 stars, but I also dont recall anything that deserve less. Each experience has been fine.

Always get what I need

I definitely prefer Fred Meyer to the local Safeway. The staff is friendly, play land is great for young kids, and they have a Starbucks and Great Clips barber. Between these perks, and their decent take-home sushi options, this is my go-to shop for most edible things.

Generally its pretty clean. And the staff are nice. Check out wait time isnt too bad. They generally have everything in stock.

Great place if you need a variety of ethnic food options and the prices look to be fair.

I find that the entrances are pretty inconvenient, the exit and enter door are confusing so many people nearly run into each other. One side is automatic doors and one is a traditional door, not wheelchair accessible unless they come in through the exit automatic door. Most departments are fully stocked, but not many employees can answer questions about items being restocked. The bakery department is the best very gourmet looking with taste to match.

Typical all in one store. Nice to be able to do a one stop shop when coming here. Large parking lot, lots of good produce and the sales are always outstanding. Just wished that QFC which is part of this group will honor whats on sale at Fred Meyers at their location.

Love the atmosphere the employees are helpful and friendly. The store is clean and they have a one stop shop. Some areas are a little pricey but overall I like it.

I constantly have to check expiration dates when purchasing food here. I bought butter there last week (october 2019) that expired IN JUNE OF 2019 06/06/19. As well as a steak that expired three days before i purchased it.... thank god the smell and taste of these things lead me to check the dates before consuming. How do you have so many expired items on your shelf?? This isnt the first time this has happened here and i doubt it will be the last considering its consistancy.

It was great to walk in on a Sunday evening and no line at customer service!! Tamara and staff ate great people to work with!

The woman working the self checkout tonight near the groceries targeted an African American teenager for changing machines and very rudely kicked him out. When we spoke up she claimed that he was trying to steal credit card numbers and she knows what she was doing. If that’s true maybe she should be more concerned with the security of the machines. Or god forbid do her job and help him through his transaction. The embarrassment on this kids face as he walked out is going to stick with me.

Ive pretty much found this to be a great store. Anything I dont like about it is the fault of the clientele, not the store. Great selection, free-item Fridays for loyalty card holders.

We love our Uncle Freddies. The clerks are friendly while checking you out (and accurate). The store is clean and well stocked, good layout. Plenty of parking and well placed parking for Disabled shoppers.

Not enough employees where you need them in the aisles. Too much out of stock. Lots microwave demos but only a couple of models actually in stock. Price was good though, and check out was fairly quick.

Fred Meyers runs a very nice store. Prices are not as competitive Wal-Mart, but I think meat and produce quality is better.

Had decent vegan sushi made fresh. Renton store is quite large. Lotsa different items, great selection at decent prices. Check out was fast with many cashiers.

I know Fred Meyers are a big deal to the long term Washingtonian, however just moving here I can say that its neat to have a mini Kohls combined with mini Best Buy, combined with a grocery store. Best store in Renton and lots of my money ends up here.

I couldnt believe my eyes when I saw there were actually employees on the floor to answer my questions unlike every other Fred Meyer Ive shopped. It was also not crowded. There could be a better selection of products.

Love this place! One stop shop. Also, the good, expensive loofahs are in the beauty section of the clothing dept side. Dont buy the loofahs in the grocery section. They feel like plastic

The cashier chose to insult my choice of paper bags with the long rant about Al Gore conspiracies and how she thought climate change was BS. If I wanted uninformed political ranting, I would log onto Facebook. I’d like to be able to do my grocery shopping in peace.

The service is great here- all the employees are truly helpful. The one-stop shopping is for real. A lot of organic, natural food, at lower price than the Co-Op. Starbucks, clothes, excellent pharmacy.

Definetly one of my favorite locations... I love the deli food and Im pretty sure they have the best in store fried chicken. The staff is always polite and helpful.

Their produce is just okay. there are times when they seem to be missing some produce, but they folks here are always nice and willing to help. However it is sadly one of the Fred Meyers with a higher theft rate, and youll often see folks walk right out of the store with alcohol alarms going off, and not a single security guard stopping them. its upsetting to see for sure.

I stopped to get gas. It was easy access in and quick access back on to HWY 167. Everything was clean and organized.

The produce department is just best at this store! Always looks amazing and decent prices 😁 The store is ALWAYS busy, but it moves pretty fast.

One stop shopping! They have many different brands of items, from organic food to famous brand clothing. You can get things like car engine oil and plants for inside and out to makeup and both nice expensive and nice inexpensive jewelry.
