Darwin came out, fixed my rig same day and was really a nice guy. Turned what could have been a long week into a quick day and I was back on my feet. Yes, it’s cash only as other commenter said, which was fine with me. Highly recommend them!

I contacted these guys for a straightforward starter replacement. I never booked service with him, but would never recommend them to anyone based on the customer service I received.My initial contact was via the website. Once I realized that wed be emailing back and forth, I tried to call to streamline the process. What I got was a very curt mechanic who really made me feel like I was inconveniencing him for calling. I overlooked it because,well, weve all been busy before and emailed him the rest of the info.I received an email back with a price quote for a rebuilt starter - which is ok but I would have liked a quote for both a new and rebuilt. I express interest in booking and get an email informing me that this was a cash only price. Now without a car that will start, and in an area with little public transportation, I wasnt able to get to an ATM so I apologized for taking up his time and thanked him for reaching out.Here is the exact response I received from the mechanic:We can take credit, debit cards but we charge 5% on top of the quote and we charge the entire quote on the card before we come out. So much fraud to avoid. So sorry.Im still not entirely sure how to take the response, but it did feel from the first contact as if he suspected that I wasnt being honest. In the end, I booked another mechanic who was pricier but worth it for the pleasant customer service if nothing else. Truly a disappointing first impression.
