The performance of this Distribution Center is pitiful. If you are trying to track a shipment through them FORGET IT. They do not pick-up promptly. Do NOT scan shipments, ....and LOSE SHIPMENTS.Trust me. Ive had the misfortune of trusting them several times.They do NOT SCHEDULE pick-ups so youre shipment is in the hands of FATE to be Picked-up, Delivered, or EVEN SCANNED by them or their drivers. And dont waste an hour trying to call their 800 for assistance!!For all the Advertising Fed-Ex spends money on, they may consider spending $1000 here to buy some scanners.Do yourself a HUGE FAVOR and go through USPS or UPS if you expect to get a shipment picked up and shipped (and tracked) out of Sparks or Reno Nevada.
Awful. I have been waiting fir 2 days on a package that was guaranteed to be here yesterday. They said they tried to delivery it yesterday, but there was a delay that they cannot explain. Was supposed to be delivered today, but was never put on a truck. Ive called twice and got an apology. Transferred to the Reno location and was told it could maybe be on a truck tomorrow, but no guarantees. Wait until Monday. Im betting they dont deliver it Monday either. We are a bit remote and their drivers dont like to deliver to us. Theyve lied about attempted deliveries and have tossed packages in bushes up the road because the driver couldnt be bothered to turn around. Worst customer service ever. I will never willing choose to use FedEx.
Got an email saying my package was ready for pickup. Three days after it arrived at the facility. Decided to drive the hour and a half to the center on day off.... Sign on the door says due to a system crash theyre closed. Double-check my tracking and see no updates or psa.🤷 Three hours of driving due to failure to communicate properly. I guess I will absorb the cost of gas huh?
Lost me the purchase of property by not delivering a next day priority envelope. After 3 days of fighting a phone automation system and hours on the phone trying to track, I had to drive to Reno from Fernley to pick it up myself. I do not recommend FedUp to anyone... Especially time sensitive documents!
Absolutely terrible. Closing on a house and pay an extra $200 dollars for overnight delivery of the documents. The package makes it to the destination facility at 8 am and just sits there. Apparently the delivery trucks leave at 7 am. I can easily go to the facility and pick up the package but the FedEx helpline is obviously outsourced to another country. I spoke to four different people and couldnt even understand what they were saying. There is no way of getting ahold of anybody to help. No local number to call. Cant close on the house. Need to wait to the following business day which is a Monday so I will be living under a bridge for the weekend now. Absolutely terrible. Use UPS or go with standard mail. Its not worth it to pay extra money for overnight shipping when its not overnight and just sits at the destination facility for 4 days.
Im a busy person working a full-time job and also in college. FedEx was supposed to deliver a time-sensitive package today that required a signature, so I waited by the door for a knock or ring from the door bell. None came, so I was surprised to see in the delivery updates that there was a delivery exception and no one was available at the door. I assume the driver didnt want to get out of the car, so he/she lied about the attempted delivery. I, personally, and my company, has always had this issue and many other issues with FedEx, and that is why we always ship with UPS. This is truly a shame.
I received notice my page was delivered. Went to get it. It was gone. A neighbor said a car went by 2xs that was odd. So I called cops. Said someone was tail my del person. Then next am my package was back. Report things like this. Have our delivery persons back. I do not know what happened but my package was back. So thank you to who ever made that happen
Every time I have gone there.All the people are not just nice and friendly they are very helpful.They even get to know those that are regulars.This is how business is to be run.

Not sure if the drivers come out of here but the driver I had was great, he attempted to deliver my package this morning at 1130am when I was working, he redelivered the package to me at 430. Was not expecting that. Thanks FedEx for getting my package to me today

Theyd get 5 stars if the parking situation was better. Small lot, with a lot of traffic both FedEx and the street. This is the Reno location. The people are always helpful and polite even when they are backed up busy and dealing with some obnoxious customers. They always offer me help getting my stuff to or from the car (Im disabled) even when theyre up to thier ass in alligators.
Was a quick relatively easy transaction. The guy knew what he was doing and helped me when my cracked screen didnt want to scan
John was so helpful, as were the wonderful drivers and the super-nice 800 number person. We had an internal communication error here, not FedExs problem, and sent something that wouldnt be guaranteed to arrive in time to be counted on a multi-million dollar proposal. We tracked it, and over several conversations came up with a couple of plans to chase it down since it had already left town on a truck for a rural area about 3 hours away. Ultimately John was able to determine through a supervisor which driver would be driving to the destination and arranged for the driver to go there before the due time. What WONDERFUL, PROFESSIONAL and COURTEOUS service for us, when it was our mistake and they didnt have to help. Thank you thank you thank you thank you!!!!!

Would give 0 stars if possible. NO delivery customer service at all! Called to inform of new parcel mail box and told that there was no way to contact driver/s to put priority envelopes in box. Apparently the driver CANT READ THE FEDEX ? UPS SIGN i PUT ON THE BOX!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I have 2 packages that were supposed to be delivered today. I was standing outside my front door talking to my neighbor when I got the notification that my package was undeliverable because resident wasnt home...... I was standing at my door!!!!!!!!!!! The driver didnt even attempt to deliver the packages!!!! I called the 1800 number, was spoken to immediately, they tried to contact the post and no one answered. So the rep sent them a message with all of my information. No contact was made and they are still not answering their phones. So now I have to hope that the driver that gets my packages tomorrow actually chooses to do his job. Thanks Fedex what stellar service huh?

Hmm, dont know who the reviewers see when they go here, because I go to this location all the time and everyone has been incredibly helpful and personable and its always a pleasure to work with them.
People were pretty nice, but not paying attention. After shipping 3 boxes (25 pounds each) I left. When I got home I put in the tracking # to make sure they were in the system. Instead of charging me to ship 75 pounds they charged me to ship 175 pounds.I called them up and the lady, munching on food, said I needed to drive back there if I wanted it fixed. She was completely unwilling to try and handle the situation.Very poor customer service and poor employee training at this location. Go somewhere else if you need to ship something.

1440 Capital Blvd in Reno. I was looking for 4 envelopes. On Saturday there was no one in the parking. One person in counter. There is no crew to look this package. He even not checked my tracking number. To hold the envelopes for Monday pickup, he suggested me to go to Kinkos. Was he playing on computer?

Their drivers run behind, they fail to upload notifications I. E. Out for delivery, nor exceptions I. E. Running late (next day delivery is delayed 4 days Friday, Sat, mon, and they refuse to upgrade to Saturday delivery either due to their delay, nor if I offer to pay.
Cutoff for FedEx Express is 6 pm if its going through Memphis and 7 pm for West Coast

Too bad the truth. I paid for express delivery and my package did not arrive I had to verify what happened and called, then they said that the location I gave them was wrong and no, it was fine. They still did not deliver the package and I called again they said that they would deliver it up to two more days, as possible I paid for a fast delivery. 😡🤬
The employee could have been more helpful instead of telling me to dial 1-800 for information. My shipment was with fedex ground and they couldnt give it to me but at least it could have been helpful
