They went above and beyond to try and assist me with shipping a package back to Amazon. The gentleman suggested that I stay in the lobby and try and contact Amazon directly The gentleman suggested that I wait in the lobby and try and contact Amazon directly So he could better assist me. Having spoken with Amazon directly and and the UPS shipping store they worked out a solution to suit my needs. I consider this an excellent customer service bonus. Very friendly and extremely helpful. All about the customer. Yes, I highly recommend❗

Love this place. I send all of my Amazon packages here to make sure they are delivered safely and dont get stolen from my front porch. I also have a business mailbox here. Never had any issues. John is awesome, I rarely see him in the store which is good :)Appreciate the convenience and the workers. Sometimes I can tell when theyre having bad days, but who doesnt have a few of those? Looking forward to renewing my mailbox again!

I went in to the UPS store to get a document notarized, which is a service they advertise that they offer online as well as the in store menu board. I was advised by the gentleman that they dont even employ a notary at the store and they cannot help me. If you cannot provide a service, fine, but dont advertise that you do.

Very professional and friendly service. Was helped by the manager, Brandy Burkhart, during busy service hours. Ensured I had everything ready for an important delivery, and got my tracking information (honestly, not every place does this, so kudos for this location!)

Service is alright but they are full of it with their open times, wasting my time when it says open here, and even their sign saying open is on, but they are closed an hour before this lists them as closed.

We have been their business neighbors for over 18 years and have always received excellent service and had no problems whatsoever! The staff has always gone out of their way to help and the owners are wonderful and work very hard to make sure that their store is ran efficiently, they also spare no expense in making sure that their store is kept up to date! I would highly recommend!!

I read the reviews and dreaded having to go in to ship out something but this is the closest one to my work and thought why not.... well I was very pleasantly surprised. Alex was very patient and kind while helping me figure out the best way to ship my package. He definitely put my mind at ease and provided exceptional service. I hope the managers know they have a great representative of their company. It really looks like you guys changed things over there and I really appreciate all the help he gave today.

Honestly other than being a little slow whenever there is a line of customers, I havent had any trouble with the staff like a lot of other reviewers have stated. Been using this store for a few years now (Granted all Im doing is dropping off packages which isnt that difficult). The best advice I can give to make your visit as smooth as possible is to not go during peak hours. Also dont wait for an employee to ask you if you need help just go straight to the counter.

Went to UPS because that is one of two carriers the business I was shipping to accepted and made clear that they cannot offload the package onto a USPS carrier because it cannot be accepted. UPS assured me that they would send it through their own carriers, but then they did not and sent it through USPS whom I specifically told them not to send it through.My package is lost somewhere within 200 miles of me and it has been an ongoing nightmare trying to track it down. Do not use this branch nor UPS in general. They will lie to your face and do whatever they can to save a dollar, even if it means screwing you over.

I would give this store a ZERO if possible. They are the worst. I have gone a few times and they are so slow and ZERO help! One time I had to wait over an hour for them to wrap a shipment for me and in the end it was received broken. Another time I stood in line for 40+ minutes to get a passport photo and they told me they dont do that even though it is listed on the sign as one of their services.The UPS store on South Meadow is AMAZING. They will be getting ALL of my business from now on.

Im in my 70s and have had a very professional experience. Being retired, the store is convenient plus I can go during non-peak hours. Try not to go at lunch or after 4:00.

Mike Johnson,If you are indeed the owner of this UPS store, you need to read the reviews and do something about it.WORST UPS store in Reno. I used to go into this store all the time as it was right down from my work. The workers were not nice and the service was S.L.O.W. I havent had to go to this store now for a year or two, but I took a box in this last Saturday to ship UPS to CA. The guy there was nice and helpful (a nice surprise), though there were boxes stacked ALL OVER the place with handwritten notes on them. Not a comforting feeling. My box was supposed to ship yesterday (Monday) with delivery tomorrow (Wednesday). When I went to the UPS website just now (Tuesday), it said that the package had not yet shipped and that the shipment paperwork was created yesterday (Monday) at 6 PM. And, here I thought the paperwork was created on Saturday morning, when I paid an arm and a leg for it and was promised that it would ship yesterday. Guess my box wont get delivered tomorrow as promised. Thank goodness I took out insurance on the shipment.I will NEVER go to this UPS store again. The UPS store at McCarran and Mae Anne is SO much better and I will be taking ALL of my business there from now on. The only reason that I gave this store one star is because at least I didnt have to deal with the rude women who used to be there (and Google wont allow any less).EDIT:Thank you Mike for responding to my review. That says a lot. You also addressed my concerns as well as going the extra mile and tracking my shipment and letting me know the status, which I appreciate. The shipment was somewhat rare motorcycle parts, hard to replace, going to a repair shop, so I was more critical of this shipment than others I have done. It sounds like you are turning things around at your store, which is good and I applaud your efforts. As such, I am upping my rating somewhat and will also try doing business with your store again. I am cautiously optimist. As I mentioned, the gentleman who helped me was friendly and professional, which is so much different than the people you used to employ. Go here if you want to get Covid-19. Theyve been real slow to adopt any safety measures but now they just wear their masks literally below their mouths. Why even do it at all? Ill be going to the other store or maybe just going to the USPS.

It took 25 minutes to mail a single envelope. All I needed was for it to be there by Friday and to have a tracking number. For some reason that was beyond KC’s level of competence. Very frustrating for a task that should’ve taken 5 minutes. The other cashier helped 6 or 7 people in the time it took my envelope to (hopefully) be mailed.

They are rude I was standing there no one will help me an older guy asked if Ive been helped I said no meanwhile there was a younger guy at the cashier not acknowledging me and just left an older lady came out and I believe she is the wife of the older guy. she asked if I was going to tape up my package or send it I told her I had no tap she hands me her tap as soon as I grabbed it she snatches it out of my hand. I will never go back to that place.

I would give them a zero if I could. Terrible customer service, could not answer the simplest of questions, such as what is the last pickup. Girls were too busy talking to each other to even acknowledge me when I walked in, and there were no other customers. Was not going to give me a receipt, I had to request one. On previous occasions staff met me with food in their mouth or eating in front of me. I only go here to drop off packages for my business because its closest to me. One last thing I am a notary, but not allowed to notarize documents for family members. We went to this location to have something notarized for my mother-in-law and the notary had no idea what she was doing. We finally went somewhere else.

Have had a mailbox at this location for my company and they have the rudest staff in the area. I have to pick packages up almost everyday and I have never heard a hello, or how can we help you. When asked if there is a manager on shift there is none. The large lady up front does not say a word and just stares blankly at you until you say something. This is not just a one time occurrence as it happens every time I go into the store.

So I go in there and I get a mailbox in this place didnt get a copy of the contract for the mailbox find out its nonrefundable which takes me almost 4 days to get a hold of the owner to get some of my money back agreed to only get half of what I paid for the mailbox then it takes 3 days just to get the money back this is so unprofessional even own a store and most people that work in there that dont even know what theyre doing to sell mailboxes

This is the closest store to me so unfortunately due to how busy I am I go here way more than I would like. The staff of this store is searingly incompetent. You have to get receipts for everything and double check their work. They are lazy, slow moving, and RUDE. Holy cow the rude! The owner of this place must be a total jerk to allow that staff to interact with the public, but then again because of location the owner must not care because they have built in business that is forced to use them. Ive been to the location on North McCarran multiple times and the difference is night and day, the staff there is so nice the first time I was shocked, thinking the terrible quality of service was a UPS standard, but its not, it is just this store. If you can avoid them do.

I was hesitant to come to this location based on all the bad reviews, but I actually had a good experience. I took a package about 30 minuets til closing time, got helped by Natalie with all the assistance I needed without any problem. She was the only worker and was able to get the 2 of us customers helped out pretty quick. I’ll be returning to this location again :)

Not open until 5 on Saturday as stated on Google. Only 4. Location is great. Service is not. The impression is that you are interrupting them be expecting them to wait on you. I have never been greeted when I come in. Ever. If I hadnt already cancelled my other box on the south end of town, I would go back there. They took the time to remember my name and greet me every time I entered the place. Im sad I changed locations. The employees are less than friendly.

This UPS Store is an independently owned location near the intersection of South McCarran Blvd and Longley Lane. I attempted to overnight time-sensitive documents. They didnt arrive overnight. When I tracked the package on the UPS corporate web site, it indicated that my package was incorrectly sorted at the origination. When I contacted UPS corporate, they indicated that I was due a refund but I needed to contact the local UPS Store to process it. When I did, the representative at this UPS Store said she would investigate it. She returned my call saying that the delayed delivery was due to weather and weather delays are not due a refund. When I identified that the UPS corporate tracking system said my package was incorrectly sorted at the origination, she became defensive and said a refund would not be processed. I contacted UPS corporate again and explained the situation. UPS corporate issued me the refund without question. Other UPS Stores yes but not this one.

Pure incompetence .Unwilling/unable to send an envelope full of papers to Canada. Isnt shipping pretty much the entire business of UPS? Dont waste your time here .Update: After emailing the owner about my experience, he assured me that the employee will be counseled. Turns out the employee straight up lied to me because she didnt want to help me out (it was about 20 minutes from closing time). I upped my ranking to 3 stars because of the owners prompt and courteous reply to my concern. I really hope the counseling works, because customers will not tolerate such treatment.

The owner and staff were nice, but they didnt have enough supplies to pack my items. I had to leave my things there (was flying out next day) with my credit card info for them to ship it on Monday. On Monday they call and tell me to ship its over $250, but gave no tracking number or expected date of arrival. I called back Wednesday after finding my brain and realizing I cant track my items without a tracking number. They tell my to call UPS because they couldnt help me. I was so disgusted. I called UPS who couldnt help much either because I didnt have a tracking number. Now I have to call cooperate to find my $15,000 antique china. If I could Id give them -5 stars.

The lack of customer service here is appalling.The ladies that work here will not welcome you or acknowledge you when you walk in, even when you say hello and are standing at the counter. They just stare at you with a blank expression.The speed of which they work could be measured in snails.The reason I gave two stars instead of one is that the process went relatively smoothly once it started.

I had experienced and damaged shipment and filed a claim with this location recently. The customer service and follow up was poor. I had to call them every couple days to follow up and have yet to receive a phone call back. I will be taking my services somewhere else for now on. I highly recommend not using this location!

Were do i begin!!! stuff is not friendly at all which oh well you can live whit that but, they are so unwilling to help they just want you out of that store, not even try to resolve a problem they told me it was nothing they can do, i was frustrated but i call onother store and they explain to me why they couldnt hepl but they gladly gave a phone number and i got my problem resolved, it was my experience but i will avoid this location at all cost even though its like a minute from my house...

Zero stars. Owner of the store refused to ship a 15 lb., 40 in TV in the manufactures packaging because of conveyer belt issues. I live and work nearby, but Ill be sure to go anywhere else from now on, like the Keystone store, where they will ship this.
