Wonderful experience. Definitely the place to go on after dinner or on any given day you crave ice cream. What makes this extraordinary is that you can pick your own ice cream & toppings & they mix it all up together and place it either in a bowl or regular waffle or chocolate dipped waffle. Yummmmmmmy.

We recently ordered a cake online and had a little mix up at the store. I wanted to give a big thanks to Chris the manager at the Reno store. He literally went out of his way to deliver our cake to our house and also added coupon for another cake. Great customer service at this location we really appreciate it!!!

Great service. My chef made a heart in chocolate syrup on top of my ice cream and sprinkled it with coconut! Nobody had done that before! It was wo cute. She was so sweet.

Now at their new location at the same shopping mall at South Virginia and Plumb. Same genial staff and great ice cream treats. The indoor area is open for socially distanced seating, though during my visit most folks either ate outside (where theres no real seating) or in their cars.

Totally awesome and worth the wait. Employees are promt and helpful. Best ice cream, mix cake batter and cotton candy its freaking amazing!!!! Add in the chocolate dipped cone totally spinklefied and what do you have, you have a bowl of awesome!!!! It was ok not enough Carmel on Sunday in fact couldnt even taste it much less find it, and a hit & miss with nuts! My husband had hot fudge Sunday, he couldnt even taste his hot fudge or find it!

The best ice cream in Reno. Very familiar place, comfortable and cozy. The price is a little higher than other ice cream places but it’s totally understandable because of the quality! Will come back!

New location was nice. Although costumer service was terrible. The employee that was taking my order got my order wrong he also rolled his eyes and whispered and gossiped with other employees because he had to make another order of ice cream he made my order and the ice cream was looking like Mud already dripping all over my hand and he couldn’t even help me with napkins. Thanks for nothing.

Their waiting area looks like a cleaned out closet but but the ice cream is always amazing so Id say its still definitely worth the trip

The customer service at this place is terrible. I don’t even think it deserves one star, to bad there isn’t an option to not give a rating because this store falls below one star. The company wants you to order online or through the app which is understandable given the pandemic our country is going through. However, online ordering causes glitches and they don’t apologize for it if your order turns out wrong. They also don’t try to give you a credit and if they have to remake your order they want to charge you for it... how silly is this since their ordering systems caused the issue. I’ve never heard of this kind of customer service in my life. Also the girl I talked to couldn’t care less and stated I would receive the same answer and service from her manager. Wow! What a great way to run your business. #dobetter #bebetter

Got here to realize they only take online orders? So ordered and had to wait fifteen minutes until my “order pick up” time. Walked in at exactly the pickup time given to me, walk out and go to eat my ice cream and it’s literally melted. LOL what a joke for a 7 dollar ice cream. If you’re going to have joke policies like restricting walk in orders when you could easily allow them since everyone is wearing a mask, at least get the times right and don’t serve me melted ice cream. I was looking forward to this all week and highly disgusted and disappointed. Do better.

Terrible terrible customer service! I Only recommend going here if you don’t mind the workers throwing your food at you and displaying poor attitudes with no remorse. I ordered online and when I picked it up the lady rudely asked what my name was and when I gave it to her she took my order out of the freezer and threw it across the counter at me. Good thing the ice cream was heavy enough to weigh down the bag or it would’ve slid off the counter. Oh and on top of that my order was wrong I didn’t even bother calling to tell them, it doesn’t seem like they would care. Very disappointing.

Coldstone Used To Be One Of My Favorite Places, As Their Ice Cream Has Always Been Very Delicious. However, CS Has Not Been As Efficient In Getting Orders Out. They Say They Offer Delivery Through Doordash But Theyre Almost Always Closed Since Theyre So Busy. Ive Been There About 4 Times In The Last 6 Months And Ive Noticed That They Never Have More Than 2-3 Employees Serving 25+ People At A Time. Customers Get Frustrated That The Orders They Place In Advance Take Even Longer To Come Out Than Those Those Orders Were Placed In Person. This Is Actually What Happened Today When I Went In. A Gentleman Had Been Waiting 45 Minutes For 2 Ice Creams When We Arrived. About 15 Minutes Passed And The Employees Said They Couldnt Find His Order. He Showed Them On His Phone And They Said They Would Put It In Next. We Got Our Order 5 Minutes After That Which Was Actually 30 Minutes After Our Order Was Said To Be Ready--And He Was Still Left Waiting. Its Not Efficient For Customers That Have To Wait So Long For Orders That Used To Take 2 Minutes And Wrong to Leave Employees To Keep Up With That Many Orders By Themselves.

Normally the best around however due to covid you have to order online or by phone only. When I called the female on the line was rude telling me to call back later. I get youre busy but in the costumer service industry you could of at least said hi before hanging up. You are then asked to wait outside while your order is made. Then have to go inside to get it? Smh...But if you go to 31 flavors a few buildings down you can walk right in and pay in person. Id like to say I would recommend cold stones to anyone as they are imo the best in reno but the covid policy is a bit over zealous for my taste. Would like to see it back to normal soon

Ordered online due to the COVID-19 situation. Gave me the time to pick up. Went and they had my order in a freezer. Order was correct and not melted at all. Enjoyed my order. Will definitely go back again.

Ice Cream is good but I would have given five stars but I ordered two ice creams for delivery and only received one and the ice cream I did receive had large chunks of ice in it if I wanted large chunks of ice I would of ordered large chunks of ice with my ice cream

Store pick up is open until 10pm? They should indicate that orders should be placed before 9:30pm since we tried to place an order at 9:40pm being already in front of the ice cream shop but the system didn’t let us place the order unless you want to pick it up the next morning. The workers start cleaning up and closing way before 10pm so that be aware no ordering to pick up 30 minutes before closing, just to pick up if you already placed the order way in advance. They should specify that in the website! By the way they didn’t want to take a phone order, without any explanation! We drove all the way there and we left without ice cream... I guess Cold Stone doesn’t seem to care, well they may not need/want business. And NO MASKS! 😷 Horrible customer service!

Cold stone is always good but this particular location is great. The ice cream there is always spot on. They are typically well staffed and the wait is never long. Staff here is always friendly, cheerful, and never get mad when you want a truly custom order. Parking is nice and close and there is plenty of seating right near by. I love the cheesecake fantasy with crazy extra graham cracker.

This is THE BEST Cold Stone Creamery in the Reno-Tahoe area. I get Cold Stone Creamery on average about four times a week, and this is my FAVORITE LOCATION! I have gotten the same custom ice cream for years; Cotton Candy Ice Cream with marshmallows, Kit Kat, and gummy bears. Today the VERY POLITE boy behind the counter told me my order before I even said it! Personally I think my creation should be on the general menu, but what a nice surprise to know someone remembered my order. Thank you Cold Stone Creamery Reno, YOU ARE THE BEST!

Amazing Ice Cream and great customer service

Ice cream is good but I ordered online and picked up my order and didnt get everything right. When you have to do business this way because of COVID19 they should take special care in getting the orders right.

Ice cream is very good and creamy. They have many flavors to choose from. It is very popular so expect to wait in line. The line moved rather quickly though. Service was fine. Cost, reasonable.

This place rocks. The employees have fun. Sadly they know I only get the big 30. I guess it makes me feel young again haha. But each time we come here it is all smiles from the employees. Very friendly. I even have got a few friends that will drive out of their way to come here because it is very enjoyable experience. Always great place for a dessert.

The quality was 4 stars, but they dont let you in, and you have to stand outside and figure out how to navigate the online menu system and try to decide what you want from a few pictures. Then you wait 15 minutes for a text message.

Ok so long story super short, I was just discharged from from the hospital and really wanted some icecream. My knee is immobilized and Im on crutches, its a bit painful and difficult to get around....I went to place my order online and the website is not working-again. No big deal, I called my order in and went to pick it up. I called the store again to notify them of my arrival. The girl I spoke to said they were unwilling to bring it to my vehicle for curbside pick up because the order was not placed online, but the website wasnt working.I tried explaining my current predicament and she still refused to be of any assistance, I guess they just no longer want my business 🤷 customer service has sucked the past few times Ive been there anyway.

Real ice cream. Its not that fake stuff they pedal at ice frog, or the creamery, this is real and real good on top of it. It has everything you could want for in flavors and toppings and if your overwhelmed there is a quick list of popular options.I highly recommend cold stone. Friendly, fast, and delicious service with good hours on top of it. If your in a hunger and only dairy will do, this is your scoop!

I love there ice cream and they have wonderful costumer service they only messed up on my order once but its okay people arent perfect everybody makes mistakes but when they messed the order it was still good. And I definitely recommend Cold Stones and there ice cream I really like is all of them except for the Lemon Sorbet but thats just my opinion.
