Coffee and dessert, simple winning combination here. We stopped by for post meal pick me up. I had a great Iced Mocha with almond milk. Good coffee that wasnt too sweet, but just the right amount. Of chocolate. Staff was friendly and helpful.Clean and fresh interior, with tables inside and out. Would definitely come back to try more!
Bibo Coffee Co. is a nice coffee shop nestled on a quiet street on the southern edge of UNR. The building has character and feels like a brick stable house. There is plenty seating inside with three different rooms, each with a different vibe, perfect for studying. There arent many soft lounging chairs or couches, so plan on sitting on a wooden seat. There is also a nice little patio out front. The building is not air conditioned, so it can get pretty stuffy inside on a hot day.The coffee is good and the baristas made my latte well. Roughly $3.50 for a normal hot latte, so the price is pretty good for what you get. One gripe, they capped my cup right away and didnt even attempt any latte art. Not that latte art truly affects the taste of the final product, however a barista that can do it well gives me confidence that they know what they are doing.
Very modern and beautiful location. Probably the nicest location in my opinion. The barista was very nice and informative and told mr that they are going to be tge first location to start roasting beans and tgey are looking into making a beer garden in the back. Very nice location as well, very walkable area. They have very good gellato and sorbet, the kiwi sorbet tastes like fresh kiwis, so good.Give itba shot, great coffee and tea a ina great location and free wifi.
Always a pleasure visiting this coffee house. The staff are always friendly and the coffee is exceptional. I can’t imagine going anywhere else in reno 👍
Great service and delicious ice cream and the white mocha!
Very friendly staff and it has accessibility!
Every second Saturday of the month, Art Spot Reno starts its Midtown mural tour here. Today, I had the hot chocolate, which was very good.
Awesome Golden Milk Ice Cream
Love love love their ice cream. As a fairly sensitive person their product does not disturb my stomach.
Yummy gelato, outside seating only.
Delicious coffee. A great beer lineup. Often has Dust Bowl Brewery on draft. Cozy and bright inside. Convenient parking. An absolutely awesome staff.
We wanted to try something new. But we wont be back any time soon. The guy behind the counter was helping people when we can in. The guy didnt greet us with a hello or hi or any kind of greeting. It was extremely hot in the store so hot infact had to walk out side afew times while he help the customers in front of us. He finally finished up with the customers in front of us. An still didnt not greetings. We were ask what do we want. My husband went first he asked for Rocky road. The rocky road look like warm runny like pudding. Before we even left the store the gelato started to melt. By the time we got to our car that was parked 20 ft away it was all over my husband hands. My husband had to put in a trash bag that was in my car because it was so much of mess. I was disappointed in my pistachio gelato. It had to much spices in it you couldnt taste the pistachio.
I picked up a pound of the Carpe Noctem last time I was at Bibo for a cappuccino. Yum! French press, in case you wondering.
Cute place. Outdoor seating. Good coffee. The affogato was really good. We also had lattes and espressos. The girls were nice and took time to answer any questions we had. Really enjoyed it. Will definitely go back.
Delicious! I love that they have vegan options since I cant have dairy. Also all the servers were very nice and helpful. Definitely recommend stopping in
I really like the coffee at Bibo, and the pastries too, and they open early (as any good coffee shop should). Also, there are multiple locations around town which makes them more accessible especially if on foot or biking.Parking can be a real hassle unfortunately, at least at this location at the university. There used to be more spots along the tracks but the powers that be changed it up for some reason and they lost several spaces. Not their fault of course, but it is what it is.The employees at this location are usually cool, as in friendly and willing to treat customers with respect, which I mention because its not always the case. I also like that they have lots of seating both inside and out, and if you want some peace and quiet you can sit at one of the tables in the back room which is a little more secluded from the goings-on up front.
Cafe food and the atmosphere at this place is great. The staff was helpful and kind. The bill was well within reason for the quality. I can see why they have so many good reviews.
A nice out of the way coffee shop near the university. I used to meet with study groups here, study solo and draw here when I was going to college. Good coffee and teas They have beer, wine, and ice cream. They dont serve regular food but there is sometimes a food truck parked outside. It is mainly patronised by students and artists.
Visited this little place one morning before attending an annual furry convention in town this past May. The store was small but cute. I personally had an ice cream and they were very delicious! Very friendly employees, too :)
A super trendy coffee shop with an amazing location and wonder vibe. It on par with Starbucks and Dutch Bros price wise but much better coffee over all. I recommend this place it everyone I know!
I love the atmosphere at Bibo, and its a university staple in a great location, so I couldnt possibly hate it, right? Well, I dont at all, but I do find Bibo a lot more hit or miss than others seem to. Sometimes, I get sleepy vibes from the employees, which is a bit irritating. The same sort of vibe that leads you to believe somebody doesnt want to speak to you; I get that about half the time I visit Bibo. Also, the coffee... I hate being that guy who dislikes a really popular local chain, but what is with the coffee? Half the time it is literally amazing, as if the person who created it is god himself, and he has blessed me with my mornings mocha, but the other half of the time, they might as well be serving bean water. Bland, uninspiring, watery.I rarely visit Bibo - not because its bad, but because I never know what Im going to get. It depends on what day it is and what employees are working there.
Always good. I love their coffee. Everyone is very polite and helpful whenever I visit. One of my favorites.
Lets see... should I spend $3 on something decent at Starbucks? Or should I spend $3 on an exceptional Namibian pour over and support a local small business with parking all around and a delicious assortment of snacks and ice cream...what to do...
One of my favorite coffee places in town. Right by the university, which is very convenient if youre a student. Very cool staff. Not too uppity like some other coffee places around town. I recommend the minty mocha.
One of my favorite coffee shops. I have a standing meeting there every week for coffee with colleagues. Definitely recommend the coffee, but the gelato is to die for. Made in store, and served in generous scoops. They have craft beer too, if you are visiting in the afternoon. Definitely an all around excellent place to have a meeting.
I know they make some really exotic flavors and would love to try them. I had the Golden Milk and it had just the right amount of spice.
Reasonably priced pour over. High quality coffee. Casual ambiance. Plus, gelato.
Best ice creams. I wish they have more flavours as they have in midtown. Yogurt is my favourite! Vegan options are amazing too.
Solid independent coffee shop with a pretty cool collection of employees. Coffee shop was cool. WiFi a bit slow but good enough for emails but could pose a problem if youre really trying to work remotely.Coffee was cool. Pastries were cool.Id come back if I was in the area
It is great to support a locally owned business. Bibo never disappoints! Great coffee!
Nice local coffee shop. Just a warning: they often play rock music, which may not be some people cup o joe. But overall nice atmosphere. Parking lot can get a little crazy but there is plenty of seating (both inside and outside). The coffee is good, but it doesnt look like they have too many pastries
I feel bad leaving such a bad review since the server was very friendly and the shop is cute but the coffee was awful! To be fair I had decaf which can be on the old side since not many people drink it, but my husbands americano was not good either. And the house made syrups were flavorless.
Im one to enjoy my coffee black, which I feel Bibos serves very well. You can pour and mix your own coffee with the three options available, which they often change between the organic coffee selections that they offer. My favourite being the Monsoon Medley, they also offer bags of ground / fresh coffee beans for sale along with a great tea selection which they bag in-house. Hands down my favorite coffee place in Reno.
I love this place for the quality of products, but tonight Im giving it a 1 star in hope that maybe a staff member will be replaced due to her ridiculously awful customer service. My fiance and I came in for a treat, we were the only people in the store with the exception of an old friend, so naturally we decided to catch up when in the middle of discussing a friends funeral, the disgustingly rude girl with the bright pink hair interrupted us to ask if we were actually going to buy any coffee or gelato?! To which I replied no we will go somewhere else. We felt rushed, and we are disgusted by this girls customer service. I have never had worse customer service. We will return when she is no longer employed there.
Always a delight! Barts revenge is always my go to! Fun flavors and super nice staff
Very good gelato
Nice little cozy coffee place. Has a home like feel to it. Workers were nice and respectful.
Ice cream was amazing! Workers are super friendly. A tad pricey ($10 for two cones of ice cream) but delicious and worth it as a treat. We had chocolate and bastani.
For being a coffee shop right next to the university you would think it would have wifi for college students to be able to do school work while enjoying some coffee. Coffee is pretty good. However, the music they play can be a little too loud
Bibos is a nice coffee shop with good coffee and AMAZING gelato, however, just recently, some interesting artwork appeared on their walls that is very disturbing. Theres pictures of pentagrams, blood, bleeding wrists, witches, and devils to name a few. It totally ruined the vibe of the coffee shop and frankly made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. I was a regular here, but not anymore.
Went with a small group and ordered several coffees and teas. They have a great selection, and a quiet atmosphere. Everyone was satisfied.
One of Renos best local coffee stores. Their Chai Lattes are to die for and their other drinks are really good too. They also have a pretty dynamic choice of craft beers
Nice place to chill while dropping the sister off at school and waiting for her. Really good food. Not sure about the coffee but do love the coco!
Super friendly atmosphere. Was recommended to go there for the gelato and was not disappointed at all.
Definitely worth a return visit. This place has a good atmosphere.
Great coffee, which I already knew, but WOW the gelato! Its amazing!
Cute cafe establishment with a hip vibe. Cant think of anything where they have done me wrong.
Great coffee and Id highly recommend the Gelato ❤️
Great little coffee shop. They also have bagels and gelatto. Parking is generally always full. I hear its closing soon, but that might just be a rumor
I absolutely love bibo especially their monsoon roast. Great place to sit outside or in and discuss classes, life and the world.
Needs to offer coffee milkshakes for my five star review
I like their coffee, but first choice would be old world or See Sees if you are in downtown.
Awesome cold brew and Belgian beer 🍻 on tap. Home made gelato, a chill vibe, and coffee, pastries, lots of room to spread out. Happy to have found this gem!
Super friendly people. They made me a really incredible iced chai latte. Only down side is they dont have WiFi and I was told they probably wont get it. Also, parking can be a struggle at times. Dont park in the lot across the street. That lot is for UNR and requires a permit. If youre patient, someone will leave and you can grab their spot on the street or in Bibos lot.
Cool vibe, cool events, and they always have room for our bible study here!
I like to buy local. So, I was lured in by signage revealing they are local. Disappointment. The man at the register seemed tired and lackluster. Getting up from his seat was torture to watch. The brave latte was weak and lukewarm but I will say the barista made the drink with gusto. When I asked about their hand made gelato the gentleman seemed a bit clueless.
Good coffee options. Nice outdoor tables, also a few chairs on the porch. Gelato!
If you love gelato with your ice tea you will love this place.
Very nice staff who dealt with our confused ordering. But the cookies and cream gelato tastes overwhelmingly like oranges. So much I couldnt eat it.
Great staff! I suggest their peach turnovers! If youre into local art, check this place out. They have galleries all the time.
Gelato was good, service was friendly. Neighborhood looks worse than it really is.
I love this place. Perfect college student hang out, or anybody else of course. And Ive only just found out that they serve beer, Ill have to check those out soon.
Love this place. Favorite coffee shop in town. Great coffee, great staff... and amazing gelato.
Delicious coffee gelato and chai latte!!!! Super pleased!
My fist visit to Bibos last week - the cashier was super friendly and was helpful in telling me what was most popular and what would actually taste good to eat & drink there... and since it was in the afternoon- there was plenty of seating available. I ordered an iced Americano- it was delicious!
Loved the patio seating almost a necessity as the lobby is small. The chai was wonderful.
Cute coffee shop with a creative (and tasty) homemade selection of gelato flavors.
Chill spot and great Americanos and Almond Milk Mochas.
Gelato made in house! Try samples of their unusual creative delicious flavors.
Always friendly. Wish this location carried hazelnut though.
Friendly fast coffee shop close to UNR
Always love this place. Friendly service, and my favorite chai!
Love this coffee shop ... Beautiful and clean modern space & great coffee. Very pleasant service too.
Im giving Bibo a 5 for their creamy and flavorful chai tea. To be honest, I have yet to try the coffee since Im hooked on the chai. The baristas are quick and friendly. I also love the inside and outside of this coffee shop. Its a great place to sit outside and enjoy the morning, or head inside to study.
Great coffee and ice cream with cozy indoor seating place. Love the staffs selecting of music.
Very unique and quaint. Well definitely go back!
I come here everyday. BE WARNED: DRINKING COFFEE HERE WILL RUIN YOU FROM DRINKING ANY OTHER COFFEE... this is AMAZING!!!!
Staff is always friendly and make really good blended coffee! They make their coffee fast so you never have to wait long.
My favorite locally owned coffee place, good coffee and atmosphere. The staff are usually super cool and nice.
Great chai latte, great gelato, great cookies, bland atmosphere inside unfortunately.
If you want to go to a grumpy coffee shop we’re the baristas are indifferent to you and play loud indie rock music this is your place. Coffee is solid, service is not.
Great coffee, chill vibe. I really like the gelato too.
Great cold brew!! Definitely going back ☕
Good coffee and right by UNR campus
Good bottomless cuppa coffee & good gelato. Theres no WiFi here. Its right next to the UNR campus, so lots of cool kids hang out, study together, etc. here.
If your not a hipster then your not welcome..... Good thing I know about coffee ...
Hipster, I am not. Coffee is WAY overrated. Not bad; just not worth twirling your waxed moustache over. Location probably hurts business.
Love this place. I come at least once a week for gelato and coffee. there seems to be gelato/sorbet options that can fit most diets. Also they make the best latte in Reno. I tired the soft serve today, flavors of the month are mango lassi, and yorgurt and it was great. Portion sizes are very generous too.
If you love exotic gelato flavors, come here! My new favorite is the plum gelato! Friendly staff.
Amazing coffee and staff. Just watch out for all the bonehead MLM/pyramid scheme head hunters that frequent the location.
No complaints I LOVE A GOOD CUP OF JOE
