Stoked to see apple making actual changes to their sustainability, after recognizing at large just how much waste they produce. My new device came without plastic wrap and additional waste. Thanks apple. Also changed that they no longer are putting unusable devices into landfills for the most part are coming up with new ways to recycle products. About time.Store experience in particular: Makayla was great across the board. Genius Bar had a 5 min wait and Sales staff helped us to get what we needed and wanted. They had the inventory in store for us that we wanted, same day.
We have been a big fan of Apple products. We have every single item here. We try to order products online to avoid the line and sometimes it taking so long. But lately I have a little problem with my promotion si I have to get in by myself. Chelsea is so amazing. Helping us real fast. She is nice and polite.
Love I ordered online parked and they brought my beats to me.. Very nice sales lady and she made sure it was me
Exceptional customer service. Superb technical knowledge. Awesome active listening skills (listening to understand not to respond...). Outstanding communication skills. ...and an amazing patience. All of the five stars go to Nick, who helped me more than hell ever know. Thank you ever so much, Nick!
Fixed my Mac in one day. On Warranty. Matthew helped me, and was cool, quick and efficient. I have always like this store. I was looking at the I pads, trying to figure out which was the Pro, and the security guard came over right by me and was watching me. How embarrassing. they have cameras, they dont need to intimidate the customers while waiting for their Mac.
Very slow service! The security guard in there needs to take a chill pill about the masks it’s bad enough we have to wear them but having someone yell at everyone who has it slip down before they have time to fix it is very annoying and he really is on a power trip with it
There just a little to quick to sell you a new one..
We’ve had a corporate account with Apple for a lot of years and I’ve had a handful of experiences with the Apple store in Reno, and it’s a mixed bag, some experiences are good some are not good at all and today was no exception.I went in today to buy a new product with a face mask on, after speaking some one already and then being in the store for some time, one of the male employees kept harassing me because it was not over my nose and even after calmly explaining to him why it wasn’t he just kept insisting it had to be, sounds like we’re canceling our corporate account with Apple and I will never shop in the store again!
Big thanks to Justin for helping us out today. He went out of his way to get us in and out in a timely fashion. Nice place to visit, nice people
The store staff are super arrogant. Don’t waste your time coming to this store. The staff are literally standing there but refused to help me buy an iPhone told me to come back in 1hr to a customer session. They had 4 staff members standing around doing nothing. I’m going to Walmart to get better customer service than this 😀
Troy at Apple is a thorough, and very patient helper. He was well informed, and offered a lot of assistance.made experience amazing
Having trouble with equipment and the rep solved my problems quickly.
Waiting for over 30 minutes for a curbside order. Just buy your stuff at best buy. This place is terrible.
If you’re too busy to help your customers, open a second location. Preferably one that’s not completely out of the way of the entire populace.Even when I make an appointment I have to wait longer or they’re multitasking.I literally knew exactly what I wanted and had cash in my hand and they made me wait 45+ minutes. Will just be buying online now. If I didn’t like apple products so much I would switch.
This is opinion, you might agree with or disagree. When you call them, most likely youre having some sort of phone issues, and you cant access the phone or internet via your phone. So, having to able to talk someone quickly is important. Hopefully, they notice it and make some changes.
I got a brand new iPhone from this place and the staff was super cool. Got me in and out relatively quickly and stress free.
I am not a fan of apple by any means, but the experience was very nice and easy. The sales person knew exactly what I was looking for. Perfect sale. I will suggest people go into the store for the experience anytime.
I love to shop here close to my home. Easy access and people are friendly.
Just wanted an apple watch but got jerked around and got no help. I can get more help and faster service at the DMV
I never leave reviews but I had such a fantastic experience here that I have to review! I don’t remember the name of the guy who helped me (ugh I’m awful at names) but he was fantastic! He listened to all my concerns and resolved my problem right away. I was blown away but the customer service. I also got in and out quick (I did have an appointment at 2pm) and the store was run super efficiently
When I arrived, they said there was 1 person ahead of me so it would be about 10-15 minutes. I waited over 50 and they still werent ready for me so I ended up just leaving. I saw 2 of them just standing around doing nothing. I dont understand why you cant just buy what you want and walk out like a normal store. First and last time I try to buy an apple product.
The summit mall is where you go to find all the classy clothes, or anything else worth the money. There are many restaurants that are absolutely amazing for instance, Noble pie parlor who won best chicken wings at the chicken wing Festival so many times in a row that they are no longer allowed to participate, so go to the best. The Summit Mall also has the Century movie theater to enjoy with your family after shopping and dinner. Truly this is the place you want to experience.
Great employees. They are always so helpful. Currently not like normal due to the pandemic. But they are still doing a great job taking care of everyone.
Steve the manager was so helpful, and was very personable!
Amazing staff, super helpful and personable. Steve was awesome!
Every time I have gone in they are out of Apple iPhones!!!
Only place my kids get there apple productsAlways been helpful been meany times
Busy, but quick service.
So loooong... always
Great and friendly customer service. I had a problem and they were able to fix it in a timely manner and it was luckily filed under free!
Quick and easy. My questions were answeted.
Everyone was very friendly except for the woman who was helping me. I don’t know her name but she was condescending and should not be working with the public (or people in general).
Having to wait a decent amount of time even with an appointment
Zack fixed my MacBook Air in 5 minutes. It was a loose screw under the trackpad. I had taken it to Best Buy who told me it would be at least $400 to repair. It was easy to make an appointment, the safety protocols are excellent and the service was quick and on time. Its great to have this store open again.
Helpfull friendly staff out front. Unfortunately they no longer service walk ins and appointments are weeks out (minimjm) The staff manning the front door, however, went out of their way to help me try and rectify my phone problem, and though apple was ultimately unable to solve my issue (that reflects more on the ability or will of Apple to support their customers with phone failures) the effort by the local employees was much appreciated.
Tech support was really nice. Tech support was very helpful and intelligent. My best friend now has a new iPhone 11 which she dont know how to work and they will be seeing a lot of her in the future. Craigslist shes already thinking of making another reservation for next Saturday.
Been there three time it very good service
This place is a joke!! Rude agents who don’t know a darn thing!!!!
Straight up F this place. My phone is broken and I try to set up appointment on my computer. Of course they send verification codes to my phone so I cannot set up an appointment. I try to buy a new phone online but once again the final step is another code sent to my phone that is literally destroyed. so I show up in person and explain all of this and they give me a phone number to call. How am I supposed to call them if my phone is destroyed. worst customer service I have ever had and worst lack of common sense in my life.
Very fast service.
Very courteous, super friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful staff. Pleasant buying experience. Make sure to make appt. even just to shop to help with social distancing.
Employees were very helpful and also strict about social distancing.
Manager was very kind 10 out of 10
Great care give
I went in to the store to see why the parlor app wouldn’t work on my phone anymore and they said to me because they’re communists. Not a fan of communists one star
We came to look at the apple watches for my daughter. An employee just showed us to the case the watch faces and bands. That was it for customer service.Customer service at Summit Mall is always hit and miss. You either feel welcome and have wonderful customer service, or you feel like the employees are judging you, or you get no service at all.The employee did show us the cases but he didnt seem to care whether or not we made a purchase. He didnt seem happy with his job.I felt this store was lacking happy, caring, and service-oriented employees.Product is not always the reason customers purchase an item. I can order off of Amazon and get better service. Your product can be amazing but if your customer service is lacking your sales will be too.
We drove down from Tahoe to get my wifes Apple Watch reset to factory condition, but apparantly you need an appointment. We could see the techs in the store available and chatting with each other to pass the time. We asked security if we could drop in for a quick question and they said we could go online and make an appointment (closest one was 3 hrs out). One of the techs actually waved my wife inside but the supervising security guard stopped her. We expressed our dissapointment with their nonsensical rule-mongering. I guess paying a premium for Apple products doesnt include decient customer service. They treated my wife as a lepper and brough her to tears. Horrible experience.
I didnt visit this apple store bc you have to make an appointment and well that is much easier said than done. You cant get a human being on phone at all. I tried going in person to make an appointment but was greeted by security only to be told that I need to call to set up an appointment. Back to square 1. This place is terrible!!
Very easy to pick up new phone employees were very helpful.
Cant go in without an appointment or knowing exactly what you want.
This place is absolutely hopeless.
Very nice store and the help was very knowledgeable!!
Apple stores are usually fun to visit/a good experience and this one is no exception--it is awesome. Great employees, clean store, friendly people. I always love coming into this store! And our sales associate was so patient. I love Apple
Called to find if the phone I wanted was in stock and about trade-in offer. Auto answer could not find a sales person and told me to go online. Apple is going down. Theyre depending on the clerks at Walmart for customer service.
I came to this Apple store with a 3 day old Ipad Pro. I had left it on top of my car and while driving it fell off and was run over, hence the tire streaks across the screen. The people were really nice and helpful and explained that my Apple Care + covered by accident. I am only here for a couple days and Im headed back home. This store didnt have my ipad in stock and was able to order it from my home town Apple Store and have it waiting for me when I arrive home. Everyone at this store was helpful, nice, and thorough when talking through their policies.Only dislike is I had to make an appointment and come back 2 hours later. So my trip turned into an all day event instead of the 15 I needed to swap out my Ipad...
I called ahead and was told I could come down and pick up an iPad if I was willing to wait outside in line and that all pick up windows were gone for the day. So I drove the 25 minutes their store to be told I couldn’t even wait in line and that I had to call and make an appointment I called back to their call center and another gentleman told me I could go down and wait in line. Then I called with the young man checking people at the door named Erik after I was told there was still nothing they could do and was told the third time I would have to set up an appointment. Very poor business communication.
This is a good Apple store to visit. The employee were friendly enough but not too pushy. Relaxed and not packed when I went to purchase some parts for my Mac. I prefer Reno more than Las Vegas.
Apple Summit Sierra is the best place to go if you have any questions about your Apple products. The employees will make you feel in home with their professionalism and help they provide. Apple has 4 public restrooms and it’s located in the middle of Victoria’s Secret and Pendleton.
Very poor experience when coming to this store. I bought a 13 MacBook Pro about a week ago. I was unaware of the AirPod promo that came with purchase when picking up my order. The woman helping me never acknowledged the promo either (which I thought was very unprofessional given I had just bought a $1,500 laptop). A couple days later, I came back to the store to receive the AirPods, now knowing about the promo. Two Apple Customer Service Reps I had talked to on the phone and at the Reno store told me I was eligible for them. The same woman helped me from my first visit and started questioning me. She continued to ask me financial/bank questions, which had nothing to do with the purchase. I thought this was extremely rude. All in all, I did not receive the AirPods because they needed to exchange my laptop and were going to make me wait 2 weeks to receive another laptop in the mail. This made no sense. Also, this was not an option for me because I need a laptop for my job. As a loyal Apple customer this should have not been an issue. So ridiculous.
Great customer care and always friendly and helpful. Love the convenience of the Genius Bar and getting one-on-one help. Apple for life!
This is my go to Apple store!Seem to always get me in when I need a repair and they text me when its my turn.Purchased two phones, cases and screen protectors.Today I went in with an issue regarding me screen protector spoke with Mgr who seemed very concerned, did not just cut me off and made sure that my issue was resolved perfectly. He did not leave our side until the issue was resolved. This type of service is why we chose this location.
I went to this store today for the first time... my experience was outstanding. When I got out of my car with my iMac, one of the reps came out and took the box from me into the store. My service was impeccable... First, Steve and then Justin made me feel so comfortable and explained everything they were doing. As I sat there I noticed that all the reps were pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend this location to anyone.
I have had an iMac desktop since 1992. I wouldnt have any other kind of computer but Apple iMac. I dont know where all these bad reviews come from. I have had nothing but excellent service every time I have gone to the Apple Summit Sierra. Years ago, that wasnt true, but it has changed immensely. As a senior citizen, I have been treated with respect, patience, and friendliness. They always give me credit for still having a brain that works in my head. I highly recommend Apple Summit Sierra! They are so very thorough in every way!
Covid is killing how we do business. I had to stand in line about 20 minutes. When I got inside the service was aprecciatable
Every year, we make our annual trek from Tahoe to Reno...we love this Apple store...it is a great size - not overwhelmingly busy and really exceptional staff. Emerson was ever so polished, smart and fun to work with... decided to trade in old phone and get a new one. So Easy.
Extremely helpful tech support.
This year, I’ve been to the Apple store to buy products, get any help, or just experience the items that I may buy. Every time I step into the store, I walked out happy knowing that the staff is outstanding, the service was great, and the experience was one of the best. There may be a lot of people getting help as well but there is always an apple employee to help.
Was super service. A company with class!
Quick version:Apple stores are usually a hassle since they are busy and expensive. This one is no exception but is by FAR the best I have ever been to. Good staff, clean environment, and they are faster than your average Apple store.Long version:I have been to this location three times and I have always been impressed. Great staff, clean and beautiful store, and its easy to get to.The staff is incredible. The man that first greeted me, I believe his name was Peter (I suck with names), was the ideal employee. Very friendly but not pushy, Knowledgable but not arrogant, and he checked on us to make sure things were going smooth but he didnt interrupt what we were doing. The man who helped me with purchasing my new phone knew the products and was not pushy. He could have been a little more personable. I had start conversation when we were waiting for my phone to update. This is not a complaint but instead a small piece of constructive criticism. He was great.I have always loved coming to this location as it looks a little futuristic. Big glass walls, white floors, and clean displays. I feel like I am big money when I walk in. Silly I know but I really appreciate the clean look and they obviously take great care in keeping it that way.I love the location. I hate going to malls but since this store is at an outdoor mall you can park right by the entrance and walk right in. No wandering the mall trying to see where it is or fighting heavy indoor mall traffic. There are restaurants nearby as well so you can eat before or after going in.A couple of small complaints. I feel like they should have more options for cases. They have a ton of colors but only three brands. I love the displays they are on but I feel like the Apple store should have more options than anyone else when it comes to cases for their phones. Keep in mind that I do not think that is this stores fault. The heads of the company probably make those calls so while I want to mention it for anybody going in, I do not think it should majorly affect the review.
Signed in and waited 45 minutes with no idea how much longer our wait would be. We knew what Apple watch we wanted and just needed to pay for it. When we asked how much longer they just said we’re under staffed and they’ll get to us when it’s our turn.I don’t need to wait over an hour to spend $1000 bucks. Even Great Clips and In and Out have a more courteous waiting system
Awful customer service.
Ale you wait outside on cold winter days. Ridiculously low amount of people allowed inside...like 5.
Im currently in town looking to buy a new phone outright. No payments or anything. I know exactly what I want and they wont let me in to buy anything because they are under staffed yet there are 4 employees standing outside? Worst service ever would never go here. Just buy online instead.
Great customer service:) once I walked into this store I was greeted, and checked in for my appointment automatically. Aaron came out promptly he assisted me, and answered all my questions. Couldn’t be more satisfied.
Picked a great time. Got help right away. Knowledgeable people. Very friendly.
They are so helpful. Even without an appointment I was able to get helped in a reasonable time. Their pricing on accessories will compete well with any source.
I was having an issue with my screen on my iPhone 6 and went into the Apple Store last night. While they didnt have any techs available when I walked in, they said they would let me talk to another guy about what my options are for a new phone since I have had my 6 for a long time. I havent wanted to upgrade my phone because I didnt want to pay for all the ridiculous fees that come along with it. Ralph was so nice and so patient with me as I went back and forth between updating my phone or waiting to get my issue resolved. I eventually ended up upgrading to a 7, but wanted to leave a review for Ralph - he was so nice to work with, friendly, personable, and he never pressured me to upgrade or to make any choices. Good customer service is rarely recognized - its important to make a note in the middle all these negative reviews that there are solid helpful people working at Apple and Ralph is one of them. I sincerely appreciate his time and energy. I felt he gave me all my options honestly and upfront without a push for a sale, and I walked out of Apple happy. Thank you, Ralph!
The geniuses are really helpful and knowledgeable. Everyone I’ve interacted with so far has been pleasant to work with.
Great company. Great place to visit to gain knowledge about Apple products. Apple always has Amazing customer service.
I dont come in often but the employees here always make me feel like Im a friend of theirs. Ive had devices fixed here, and Ive purchased products here. This is definitely my favorite Apple store that Ive been to, and Ive been to many.
Made an appointment. At exactly at the time that the appointment was given a rep came up and help and took my phone and fix it. Easy and fast ty !!
I had a great experience at the Apple Store yesterday. Went in on a Saturday morning, so of course the store was full of waiting customers. They put me on a wait list and took my cell number, told me it would be about an hour wait so I could leave and go do other things. So I went and ran some errands, and the text notified me when it was time to return to the store. I only had to sit for about 15 minutes before I was helped. Toby was extremely helpful, professional, and efficient at addressing my device issue and getting it taken care of. I was so appreciative to get such great customer service, especially on such a busy day of the week.
I just bought my head phones for $29.99 here at this Apple Store about 3 weeks ago. I noticed this morning that the headphone cord was ripping so I thought If I took my headphones in to the store they could help me exchange them. I went in this morning and the sales associate was very helpful and the exchange process was fast and simple. I was out of the store within a minute. Great place with a great environment! Definitely will come back. Thank you!
Sadly this store has no commitment with their customers. I’ve scheduled my visit, I arrived earlier than my schedule time, I’ve waited not only the time I arrived early but an hour more and just leave without my service. Will consider this next time before spend thousands on a cool product.
This is my GO TO store. I have always received courteous and prompt help and really enjoy the complimentary classes on different devices and use of the devices. There are things on my iPad that I am still discovering. I find the instructors patient and helpful. The new store is quite nice and user friendly with many tables for the classes. There was even a 4 year old taking a class. Now that is amazing.
Ive bought all my apple products here. Very attentive and always happy to help out with even the smallest things
Manager did intentional bait and switch after 6 hour phone order and 4 hour drive to pick up Apple has fallen far but these guys are the very bottom of the barrel an d will blame everything on customer
The worst Apple store I’ve been too!! Don’t compare to Tucson Applestore!!. All I wanted to do was purchase a lighting bolt cable! I wasn’t even greeted by one person! Every time I’d walk towards someone they walk away!! Not one person, for twenty minutes, did not come up to me or say hi!! Shut this place down.. not worth coming here cause u will leave feeling angry and disappointment!!
I have been waiting on the phone for over a half hour and have yet to speak to someone. They should upgrade their service; at other places they ask you for your number and have an advisor call you back when they are available. This sucks, I cant make an appointment over the phone nor can I ask for help over the phone because no one answers. YOU GOTTA LOVE YOUR IPHONE.
Was in Reno for 6 days, and after talking to Apple Support I went in to have my apple watch replaced under warranty. Got here on my first day and was told they needed to send it offsite for evaluation/repair. Would take 3-5 days. Got back after 5 days. Still no watch. Was told it might arrive the following day. Stopped by on my way to the airport the next day. They checked the back and no watch. Was then told that due to memorial day repair requests were now 7-10 days. Arranged for them to forward it to Denver where a friend could pick it up and left.40 minutes later, just as I had passed through security at the airport I get a mail telling me my watch was ready for pickup. So much for them checking the back like they promised. On the other hand though, every other part of my experience with them has been good.
Been here a few times. For a while the GPS location was wrong since they moved down the strip mall. The new location is nice and clean. But needs some management work. I came in to buy a charger and the manager passed me on to 3 different people. Took 40 minutes just to checkout. Needs some work but no other options in the area.
Was at this Apple store today, 01-18-2018 for an appointment with a Genius @ 1:35PM that I scheduled a week ago through Apples support line. Tech on the phone guaranteed that I will have my phone replaced come my appointment time because theyll have the battery by then. After waiting half an hour from my appointment time, a Genius told me to come back by late March to early April because they dont have the battery for my phone. Horrible customer service. If you like wasting your time, come here.
Items in stock were very minimal. I came in for a square reader of some sort and not only was customer service horrible but they had no stock. Tried to speak to two different managers and they both said their piece and just walked away from the situation. I am probably the biggest fanboy and to get such poor customer service is very unsatisfactory. There are other waiting to be helped and employees are just walking around visiting with each other. Come on Apple. Your the most expensive on the market have the best customer service.
I wanted to buy my Mac from the Apple Store instead of Best Buy, as I was tired of Best Buys service (or lack thereof from my experience). Plus, Im betting the team at the Apple Store will be better equipped to fix my Mac over the geek squad (just had negative experiences with them in the past).Anyways, the service was overall really great, and with being a web designer was able to relate to the staff there at the Apple Store a lot better than other places (not really a techie, nor am I really into gaming. Also found that the prices at the Apple store to be the same as on Amazon.Overall, great experience.
