The staff at Jared are tremendously helpful and knowledgeable. We had some earrings repaired, and the staff went out of their way to help and get things taken care of. I was very impressed.
Phone customer service is absolute trash. I called three times. Twice no one picked up. Once they picked up the phone and then hung up. If youre with a customer, the least you can do is excuse yourself and answer the phone and take down their info to call them back. Or maybe get an answering service/voicemail.
Stacy at Jared was incredible and super knowledgeable and nice. She made the experience of looking at rings special and memorable.

These professionals told me, the Tag Heuer I own cost $25 to resize. Reluctantly, I wasnt sure, then the salesperson told me her managers would normally charge $45. I agreed, then after taking my watch, they told me it was not resizable, which is completely untrue. Very annoying, I will never shop here.
For a high-end retail jewelry store, Id expect a higher level of service. The store us understaffed and some of those working don’t seem to care that there are customers waiting.Ive been in several times and shared my concerns with the manager. This took place several weeks ago and I went in again this week and there was no improvement in service.The selection is good, and they do have a full-service repair shop on site. Just dont bother stopping in if you have dinner reservations later! Even stopping in on a lunch-hour to pick up an item that was repaired isnt a good idea.
My daughter was recently engaged, and her ring needed resizing. They obliged even though the ring wasnt purchased from them. I didnt care for the Indian gentleman there who made it clear that the ring wasnt gold, but silver instead. Also making it clear that the main stone wasnt a diamond but rather a cubic zirconia. Even though the surrounding stones were small diamonds. I dont believe that love is measured by the expense of the engagement ring, but what it symbolizes. I may go here again, but I wont deal with this rude individual ever again.
Everything was great and the ring we purchased (my wedding band) is lovely (exactly what I wanted). The only reason I am giving four stars is that they were not the best in communicating; my ring had to be resized before I could pick it up, and when we purchased it, they told us they would give us a call when it is ready. 7 days past and no word...I called and they apologized and said that it was indeed ready for pick-up. They said that sometimes it just gets busy where they do not have time to call people about their orders...which I dont think is great, but at least a heads-up would have been nice. Also, the ring selection for mens wedding bands is just ok, could do with more. There was one band we really liked for my soon-to-be husband that was only available in white gold and not yellow gold, which is a little odd as yellow gold is pretty standard.
Does anyone even work at this place?! Have been calling since YESTERDAY 3PM and no one seems to answer the phone. This is absurd.
Bought a ring back in January 2020, had it sized up to what we needed and within a week of my girlfriend wearing the ring the ring had lost 2 diamonds and completely lost its shape. Jared’s did offer to order a new ring direct from the manufacturer which was nice, was due to arrive April 22, and then COVID happened. Once the store reopened I called on April 20 to follow up on the delivery of the ring, I was quickly told by Traci that it was out of their hands and I needed to call customer service. I waited another 2-3 weeks and again was told the same thing, I assumed I would just get a call when it finally came in. Fast forward to June 23 and I had bought my girlfriend an engagement ring, again sized up and picked up on June 25 with no issues. I decide to email Traci at the Summit location on July 25 and again ask if the ring had arrived. Come to find out the ring had been there since June 17 and no attempt was made to contact me, despite being in the store twice between those dates. When I finally bring this all to Stacey the store manager, I finally get an apology and says she will get back with me to let me know what they can do to make it right, 3 1/2 weeks goes by with no calls or emails so I call her back and am quickly offered 20% off when I tell her it’s ridiculous that it took almost 4 weeks to get an answer to something she put together in 2 seconds she then begins to start trying to talk over me and yells at me over the phone that I am not letting her talk. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever had at a place that you would expect to receive top notch service with the money spent. Once they have your money the customer service goes down the drain. Waiting to speak to the district manager at this point.
I’m sitting at the store now where the window and GOOGLE says they close at 7:00 PM. As I’m getting out of my car he literally closes the door on me. Says sorry we’re closed. I just drove 40 minutes just to drive back with nothing.
The customer service was absolutely wonderful. Ahmed was fantastic. He took his time to explain to us the differences between the rings and the promotions they had on going on. Will absolutely be coming back to this location.
I cannot even explain how grateful my future husband and I are for Stacey. My engagement ring and wedding band were lost by another known jewelry store since August. After all the back and forth, the unnamed company agreed to remake my custom engagement ring and when we picked up they had downsized the diamond and used a completely different mount. We were referred to Stacey and in less than 24 hours she provided us with the right size diamond, and had it remounted exactly how my original ring was. I cannot say thank you enough for the professionalism, and empathy provided by this Jared store. I highly recommend it, and will be bringing all my business here in the future. The ring selection was okay and customer service was decent when I initially went in. Not much to complain about there. But those who are looking for engagement rings beware. I went in to purchase an engagement ring for my fiancé and I had everything planned out for an amazing proposal a couple weeks later. Within 2 days of the purchase they send a billing statement to my house and of course the fiancé found it. I was disappointed that they didn’t mention mail would be sent to the house or at least give some sort of a heads up. To make matters worse, after the proposal that my fiancé now was fully aware was going to happen, she took the ring in to get it resized and tightened. She was greeted with a very frustrated and rude employee that was clearly upset that she had come in 30 minutes before closing (this is a jewelry store not a restaurant). On top of that they gave her paperwork stating the value of the rings and the price that was paid for them. Very tacky experience and disappointed in Jared’s attention to detail. I wouldn’t say not to go to them, just keep my experience in mind to prevent my catastrophe from happening to you.
Been going to Jareds for over 12+ years to have my wedding rings and diamond thumb ring inspected, I never see the same associate twice, it took 10 years for them to get my info right for inspections and yesterday was the topper.... I hand the associate my 3 rings, she takes my wedding and thumb ring back, cleaned with no visual inspection and left my anniversary band on the laptop, handed me my two rings back and said All Set. I asked about the one on her laptop and she said oh, here ya go. I told her that she hadnt inspected that one. OH went back and cleaned it, again no inspection and told me to I would receive me email confirmation regarding the service in 24 hours. I love and trust this store! I came here on vacation last week, bought some earrings and the entire staff was so helpful and no pressure to buy. Anyways one fell out within 5 days later at home:( lost :( I called store, Angelique was amazing and helped me replace earring from 2 states away! Shes very knowledgeable and goes above and beyond for her customers! We bought my wedding ring set and necklace from Jareds in Portland OR, and earrings here in Reno store -- I will never go anywhere else because the customer service is amazing at every store but this one especially! Thanks all!
We went with this place initially because of the amazing customer service and quality of diamonds, recently the service has gone down hill! This store feels cheap and very unprofessional! The last two times weve been in, they have treated us so poorly, keep in mind my fiance is spending a lot of money on my engagement ring here! The general manager did nothing but argue with us today unnecessarily! She was talking down to us, she was very condescending, rude, and so unprofessional! My fiance was explaining to the general manager, very calmly, information he was told last time we were there and she had the nerve to tell him to take a step back... Im in shock at how we were treated and talked to especially because we are paying customers, but that shouldnt matter, that is not how u treat anyone when that is ur job! We literally had to tell her that she is ruining this experience for us! Its our engagement and this should be a very special time and now we dread going to the store because she literally ruined our day! It used to be pleasant going to jareds and the last general manager who took care of us was so nice, she was a big reason we chose Jareds! If this new general manager was our first impression 6 months ago when we were picking out a ring, we wouldve walked right out the door and Jareds would have lost our business all together! I hope they get someone professional who is nice to customers and this becomes a pleasant experience again, but as long as she is there, that wont happen! The last two times weve been in, we have left very upset! Very disappointed in Jareds!
Very disappointing. Bought my wife a ring here several months ago. When she took it in for work, they broke the diamond then tried to give it back hoping we would not notice. When we noticed it was loose they took it back under since it is under warranty and plan to replace it. Nearly two months later, still no diamond replacement. They claim they have to find a diamond of similar or better quality and this takes a very long time despite the vast supply of diamonds they have in their collection. Despite several attempts by my wife and I to speak with them, management says there is nothing they can do to fix the problem. Confused and frustrated by these poor business practices.
This place puts other jewelry places to shame. Very helpful non judgmental employees. HUGE selection... They have a kids play area, coffee/water lounge area. I made a large purchase and will be happy to do so again.
Received a beautiful necklace and within a week, the chain had to be repaired, when received the chain was black from the repair! Does not clean off, its burnt on which can be seen when worn. Take it somewhere else for repairs if they dont care after the sale!
After multiple attempts to give any Jared location the benefit that they could be better the Reno one out of 5 others I have tried was the worst. I gave them a piece to fix they gave me a price then called and said it was triple. I asked if they did more work and they said no just what they quoted me but the employee quoted me the wrong price. I said they need to fix that as that’s not my fault but theirs and they said no and then called me to come in and pick it up. I got their and it wasn’t even worked on and they wouldn’t work on it without my approval if triple the price even though my paperwork had the lower quote that an employee quoted wrong. Way to take responsibility for your employee and their training. Not only will I never be back I want to make sure everyone knows of their awful customer service.

The kids area was nice to keep the kids busy, but I was disappointed in the customer service. Usually theres a friendly face when you walk inside and someone to ask what you need, but not this time. I had to find an employee and approach them. I didnt really feel welcome.
Customer service is terrible! They should have paid the old general manager more to stay. The new one is terrible, just look at the recient reviews. I was told two seperate things related to a warranty. When I was taken off guard by the new information I was treated like an idiot by the general manager. Who said her position like three times even though it had nothing to do with my questions. So annoying! This place was great but after six months, a new manager, and all new employees (I assume the others quit do to management), I wish we stuck with Hellzberg.
