The pharmacy seems to have problems filling my prescriptions every month. They like to blame the doctors and insurance but it always end up being them. Plus it takes me at least 4 hours to get my scrips filled. Because of my medication I take its really hard to change pharmacies so I am stuck with bad excuses and the blaming of everyone else but them.
The pharmacy sucks. Terrible customer service and extremely rude. Messed up prescriptions multiple times then would get upset when people complained when it was THEIR mistake. Also has no patience when asked for simple questions like pick up time. Would not recommend and would rate lower if possible. Also had a bad experience with cashier but, unlike the pharmacists, not all of them are that crabby with customers.
They are always friendly, efficient, polite, and the store is very clean. This is one of the nicest in the area in my opinion despite the local area. I love this one. The managers are all so great and every employee is nice
The manager or clerk here is excellent. He came out from the back when the line was getting long and dealt with a couple of guys that were acting a bit weird with a confidence beyond his years. I was very impressed at his loyalty to Walgreens.
Horrible service in the drive-thru pharmacy. after waiting over 40 minutes in line (behind only 3 cars), I was told I had to come back a half hour later because they were shutting down for lunch. No one came out to tell anyone waiting in line and they dont have a sign anywhere saying theyre gone during that time. Why would a pharmacy close down during a time when a ton of people have a lunch break to get their medication. People depend on these workers being able to help them and they literally just shut down and leave. I wouldnt only give -1 star if i could it would be full -5. Horrible.
I had a number of prescriptions to pickup and I have TriCare for my insurance which is unique. The got everything setup and turned in quickly and efficiently especially since I was in the drive through. There was a minimal wait for those behind us. We were treated with respect and kindness. I noticed there was plenty of handicapped parking and the entrance was large enough for wheelchairs and electric vehicles. I will be happy to return for my medication needs.
We were in an extremely long line to get our COVID VACCINE and an older gentleman with a considerable amount of health issues was in line in front of us. He was noticeably confused and frustrated and despite the long line and high stress atmosphere the gentleman Shomari spoke kindly to the man and helped to calm the situation. I’ve never seen so much patience in the midst of so much stress. Please acknowledge him because his job can’t be too easy during COVID. I know he made a difference in that man’s life today!
Clean bathrooms, friendly employees, everything was stocked.
Looking for a product today which regrettably Walgreens no longer carried, however, Ana a young lady working over in an entirely different department volunteered to assist me. Anas authentic concern and professional service was far above what passes for the expected level of customer service or assistance in the retail world today. What matters is that excellence is a trait people consciously work at and refine, this young lady has got it down!
Worst drive thru pharmacy! I wish I can give them 0 star. Called in to refill meds for a patient at 0900am and pharmacist said it will be ready for pick-up at 11:00am. Then came by to get it at 3, waited in line for 30-40mins only to be told that it won’t be ready in 20 mins and will maybe wait again in line for another 40mins. What a waste of time! They’re disorganize and doesn’t have a sense of urgency. Go to another pharmacy who actually values your time. This pharmacy is a mess!
Very courteous and helpful
Slowest pharmacy of all time. Took 1hr in the drive thru for only 3 cars. Stay far away.
They are very busy in the pharmacy. they could use more people. I feel sorry for the staff. they are under allot of pressure. best to use one of the other wallgreens
Got a call that my shingles vaccine was in. Came in and was assisted by a female pharmacist. Seriously, the shot had more personality. Was not told that I would have to wait 15 minutes after checking in. Not sure why places like this don’t realize customers have quite a few choices.
Okay- is it sad when the manager knows nothing about how there system works? I went in there to grab a few of there items off there weekly AD, I have been working for the Walgreens company for over two years up in Oregon but now I am visiting my parents and thought I would pick up a few things while I was near this Walgreens.Maybe this is a Nevada thing, but every single Walgreens i have gone to here, the cashiers do not know what they are doing nor do they know the policies or how to work the cash register - at some point i had to explain the whole process of entering a coupon manually because an employee was uniformed. The lack of training going on in these stores is almost unbelievable. The older women who checked me out at this particular store did not know anything about how to work coupons, when you work in cosmetics (thats the department I work in Oregon) you have to know how to deal with coupons! I mean for goodness sake we hand out coupons in that department! This women did not know how to use them! I dont even know how she ended up working in cosmetics she didnt know anything about her department. I was half tempted to walk her through the whole checkout because she didnt know anything! What makes it absolutely worse, she called a manager over... who also didnt know how to work the register..I will never go to this store again- the workers are rude- and are not trained properly.
The pharmacy is awesome and quick however the store itself is so slow and the manager is very rude!
Everything was much better and the construction remodel was done. Changed my review from 1 to 5 stars. Next time you do a remodel, Just close the store. Its stressful on employees and Customers
The Pharmacy lacks several things.1. Overworked and understaffed2. Poor management and training3. Poor customer service4. CleanlinessI would like to mention that while the above statements are all true, there are a couple of Technicians that make the experience pleasant. However, if you show up on a day some of the other ones are working.. get ready to be treated like you’re an idiot.Annette is by far the rudest, most unprofessional person I have ever encountered. Each and every time I go in to pick up a prescription for my family, I see not only how she interacts with me, but with her staff and other customers as well. I have never seen such disrespect and nastiness from one person!Having said that, Kelly and Meredith are by far the most polite, always have a smile on their faces and treat people with respect! For me, that goes a long way.I will not return to this Walgreens anymore. It’s a coin toss wether or not you’ll get treated like a human.
I go to this Walgreens often, and I like the sales they have. I usually go to buy snacks and the prices are affordable. The customer service is also good and I like that they accept Android pay and Apple pay. I always keep coming back for the awesome sales.
We always have a good experience with the staff
This place is fantastic if only for their extensive candy bar selection. Also, a non judgement so staff, who turns a blind eye to the funk of transients. You can have your faith in humanity smashed to pieces or restored all in the same hour/isle. Great deals on batteries and the no-brainer go-to for birth control needs.
Fast, very friendly and helpful service. Quick to assist me with access to the locked case. Gentleman at cash register was great.
I will say that the woman pharmist is very rude first thing out of her mouth when you go to get a refill is its to soon. I had to tell her NO last time I only got a 1/2 of a refill. Then she was like oh I see that duh look before you speak. This is her standing answer is its to soon. Honestly when she looks it is never to soon. She acts like we are dope heads. Just give me my prescription my doctor ordered and stop giving me that line. The rest of the pharmacy crew are nice. I got to where I call it in on the automated phone order instead of talking to her. Then I just get a text saying ready to pickup. I found that is a lot less stress and doesnt make me want to punch her...
Pharmacy is nightmare. Told prescription was ready via message. Waited in line for 15 mins. Told me they didn’t have it ready and to walk around store for 15 mins. Waited in line for another 15 mins. They didn’t have enough so they gave me 5 pills and was told to come back in a few days. Came back a few days later and waited in line again. They hadn’t ordered them! They gave me 5 more pills and was told to come back. Don’t have time for the runaround. Also, they are now closed for lunch. Website not updated.
The drive thru pharmacy is slow and the staff is rude. After waiting nearly 15 minutes just to get to the window, the woman who helped me was incredibly rude and stopped speaking to me once I gave her my credit card and insurance card. It then took her another 20 minutes to get my prescription, which was supposed to already have been filled. When she did finally return to the window with my cards and prescription, she simply put everything in the drawer and shoved it out the window, without speaking to me. Ill never go to this Walgreens again!
This is got to be the worst Walgreens West of the Mississippi. The pharmacy (and its employees including the Pharmacist ) have absolutely NO customer service training. Im not saying they are close to it, but they are most certainly close. From getting the wrong pills, to getting short pill count. After waiting in line at the drive thru for 20 minutes (two cars in front and two cars behind) they closed for lunch break when we got up to the window. The manager (Brian) explains it this way...they had to go to lunch...The drive thru window was broken for approx. a month. Its clear that this store has poor management and store employees and is nothing more than a black eye on the store chain.
The womens bathroom was HORRIBLE! One, I cant believe women can be that piggish! Two, I cant believe no one cleaned that bathroom in months. I guaranty it. The Health Department should and will be called. I couldnt if breathe in there!!
The worst pharmacy ever....customer service is horrible. The lady at Drive thru will tell you numerous times why she can’t fill prescription. No one was in drive thru area she is more concerned about you waiting while no one is behind you. The pharmacy on McCarran is the best, I love them. This one however is a disgrace to be a Wal-greens. She said it would be hour because she was busy, when I said I would wait until it’s finished she became irritated and said 30mins. She didn’t text me notification, I waited outside& came back to check on prescription. They need customer service training at this location. If you are sick....do not go here. The are not compassionate, lack empathy, are unprofessional, do not care about their customers!!!!! They deserve below rating it was so horrible. The lady was middle age, dark hair, looks like she had hard life working at window.
Everytime I come to this pharmacy there is an issue. First time I was picking up asthma medicine for my 3 year old and told I need a seperate card through my aetna insurance to cover my prescription. I called aetna that was incorrect the rx # was on the card I presented but the pharmacist didnt take the time to actually look it. Now today I dropped off my prescription for a horrible toothache 3 hrs ago just to be told yet again my insurance isnt going through. Told to circle around 3 time with my car full of kids while they figure it out. This will definitely be my last time coming here.
Whatever...Its Walgreens My Friends!!-lol
DO NOT GET YOUR PRESCRIPTION HERE! These people will not give it to you. They will stone wall you as much as possible because they do not know how to charge your insurance. Its almost like they go out of their way to cause you distress instead of actually helping you. Also, they will lie to you and do not care. If you already gave them your prescription you cannot take it elsewhere. TAKE YOUR PRESCRIPTION ELSEWHERE BEFORE GOING HERE! WORST PHARMACY EVER! THE PEOPLE WHO WORK HERE HAVE NO EMPATHY!
Great Store/Rx, small complaint. . .Wish it was open 24/7 but it has all you need.😇😎
Not bad,the ptice is great here.
Easy, convenient, and friendly - everything I was looking for!
Not bad for getting your Rx and other goodies but expect a long wait and confusion at times.
Stay away. Pricier than other pharmacies and always long waits. Understaffed and slow to move things along.
Had surgery, then had to wait a hour for them to fill my prescription. To bad cvs wasnt closer. Takes them about 10 minutes to fill.
I forgot my prescription before coming to Reno for a trade show. I had it transferred to Walgreens from my kroger pharmacy and was charged 10 times more than Kroger. This was my last visit to a Wallgreens. I will never shop at another Walgreens again.
Horrible.
Oh no, they were out of distilled water, when we really needed it.
Awful customer service, extremely rude staff, dirty store.
Awful customer service in the pharmacy department.
Horrible customers service. It taken ore than an hour before you get your medical.
Rude service and extremely slow drive up and inside pharmacy.
Open 24 hours clean store
Nice store
