Reno! Bought an had installed a new CD-Radio. Miss old one but it was original to car and cut out. Like new one has awesome sounds!

Super disappointed. Was recommended by a family friend to come here and the staff was VERY rude. Whatever staff was working today needs to be retrained because their customer service?? WACK. Will never be coming back here again. That young tech needs to learn some manners too. How sad.

I originally left a bad review due to customer service, but I wanted to update after my current service. As i said before these guys know what they are talking about and they do great work. The only issue I was having was them getting back with me. I still feel this is a problem than can be approved on but considering the amount of work they receive I feel I judged too soon. I am a forever customer now, and would like to formally apologize for quick review. If you are looking for a great shop look no further. This is the best place in town!

I have recently had a very poor experience at another audio “expert” who seemed to have no interest in helping fix the problem I was having with the unit they sold me...but when I called and spoke with the owner on the phone he offered a great solution. The new unit they sold and installed is working great, does not rattle like the old one did at high speeds. They took the time to answer my questions about the unit operation and features on it vs other new units. Was very pleased with my experience and will be returning for any car audio needs.

Nevada Auto Sound in Reno on South Virginia is the best car audio speaker and boat audio shop in reno hands down. I know this cause I have used them for years and they are great! I referred a few friends curious to see how they treated them and my friends started referring nevada auto sound to their friends here in reno and sparks. I was very impressed to see my friends were just as happy as I was.

I own a 2006 Toyota 4Runner Limited V8; with only 32,000 miles, I incurred a technical glitch with my factory installed Navigation/CD system. The unit would take approximately 5 minutes to initialize (versus its immediate response when operating normally) and would not enable the user to select the CD player option despite no error displayed on the LCD screen. After taking the vehicle to Reno Toyota for inspection and diagnosis, I was told that my unit was dysfunctional and would require complete replacement. Actual repair costs, according to the dealer, would amount to $3700 with tax and labor!Skeptical of that convenient and somewhat baseless diagnosis, I began to research similar situations from various Toyota owners. This morning, at approximately 9am, I called Nevada Auto Sound and spoke to Jay concerning my Denso NAV system and JBL audio. After listening to the description of my problem, he encouraged me to bring my vehicle by his shop. After 1 hour of shop labor ($85), Nevada Auto Sound had repaired my factory NAV system by completing a system reset! By removing the unit from my dash, with no observed scratches, dings, etc., the professionals had me up and running in no time. Thank you NV Auto Sound for saving me the pain and trouble of dealing with any further incompetence!

I bought a car stereo from them at a fair, not great, price. They did the install. After driving the car at night with the headlights on I noticed a buzzing through the stereo and brought it back. They told me that the headlight switch on the car was defective so I bought a new switch assembly (stalk with other controls, too) and had it installed but the buzzing continued. I did not return.

It is a bad shop I went to install a starter and security alarm to my truck and, on account, they were installing another one of a different brand, they only installed the security for the same price and apart I was charged a lot more soo I do not recommend this place
