I had a great experience purchasing a used car from Carl and Heidi. This is not a fancy glass and marble showroom experience- but you also get treated like a normal person and not a walking bag of money. No slick sales people, sneaky finance managers or pressure to upgrade your vehicle and service. Carl and Heidi are nice and friendly people, and it was a pleasure to work with them. The lack of an office was a little annoying (I signed loan documents on a tree stump) but they were quick to communicate/respond and helped make the process easy. Their local credit union down the street approved my loan for 1.5% less APR than the next best competitor and in under two hours.

Very nice staff let you test drive cars without hassling you for pressuring you, hopefully I can buy something here when their inventory meets my needs!

Skeptic turned believer... I was nervous going through a used car dealership I know they dont have to tell you the truth and usually dont but I had a good feeling about this place when I found it while searching craigslist for a car I live in California which doesnt have the same laws as Nevada when buying a used car and registering a new car so I was skeptical for this reason but I went anyways found a car same day took it home and it failed smog my worse nightmare was coming true I was devastated..but I called them and told them what happened and explained my situation without a having a bad attitude about it and they had me bring it back so they could have their mechanic take a look it was nothing major a simple loose wire they fixed it and sent me on my way not a problem since passed smog with a quickness and I can honestly say I will never purchase a car from anyone else thank you summit auto Reno you guys rock

We just bought an expedition from them and they were amazing. Came in on Sunday when they were closed for us to test drive and stayed late on Monday to finish the paper work. They were super nice and I loved that there was no pressure let us look at the vehicle and talk with out hovering. We will definitely go back to them if we need another vehicle.

I have always been skeptical about used car dealerships but I went for it when I saw my vehicles ad. Great experience with owners! They really communicated well through email and provided many options to get you finance the interested vehicle. My Honda CRV was cleaned, detailed and ready for pick up. This is hard for me to doI have always loved going to summit racingBut lately it has gotten to be less of a place I enjoy going to,The customer service was less then something to desireThe employees didnt know what a few of the items whereIt to one employee a good long while to find an item on the shelf that had they just told me the shelf right behind you sir would have taken less time to findLong post short I hope they fix themselves, I would like to see summit with employees who want to help you not get bothered by you.

They had some competitive prices on vehicles so we went to check them out during their advertised business hours. Nobody was there. We called the number and left a message saying we were in the lot and wanted to check out a couple cars. A day later and we havent received a call back. Absolutely bizarre. I had my eye on one of their cars in particular but I wont be going back here. The whole experience was just odd.

I have bought two cars from summit auto. Both of them were in good condition and the owners were very helpful. Both times they financed me in house with a low down payment. Very nice and helpful people!!!

This place is a bit of a joke. Like someone stated above, there was nobody on the lot during their listed hours one day. So I decided to try again a few days later and had to wait a half hour longer than the return time listed in the window. Nobody would answer or return my calls. When the sales lady finally did return, she acted odd and inconvenienced and had no idea what she was babbling on about. The vehicle I ended up looking at had very blantent wiring issues with the radio and door locks and all I received regarding that was a lame excuse. Steer clear people. Garbage.
