Quick and professional. Easy to get to. Pricing was good for maintenance services. Loved that they dropped me off at the nearby mall and picked me up when my car was ready. Only wish they were able to wash my car but due to COVID-19... oh well...hopefully next time.
So this dealership despite my numerous attempts to get off its emailing list asked me to put a review in. So here it goes. I dont live in Reno, never been there either but I would like to visit, I dont own a Volkswagen and I never had service at their dealership. They must of put a customers email in wrong and Ive been suffering their spam ever since. I do not recommend this dealership because they dont seem to have a basic idea of how email works or that when someone unsubscribes you should stop sending them stuff. Absolutely fantastic. The entire staff was pleasant, friendly and helpful. Id like to give a HUGE shout out to Carlos, the Service Advisor, who was informative, professional and an all-around great guy. ALSO, an equally huge Thank You, to Heather, in the Parts Department. I needed a trailer hitch adapter, and she helped me find the right one, and we had an awesome conversation about our mutual love of VWs. An amazingly pleasant experience, all around. Took my Atlas in for service without an appointment on a Saturday. Thrilled they were able to get me in, and fast. The staff is so helpful, facility extremely clean, and plenty of safety measures in place to feel good about being there in a pandemic. Bobby in the finance Department was the first person I met. He was able to get an amazing interest rate for me, which I did not expect. To boot, he was so friendly and I must say, hands down this was the perfect car buying experience that Ive had so far.I have this song that is very special to me, and when it comes on, I know its my sign! It reminds me of my Great Aunt Diana. Bobby walked into the office and said, youre approved! The song came on, scouts honor, 10 seconds before he walked in to tell me the good news! Then I called Geico to get insurance on my awesome Black Jetta and the name of the gal helping me was Diana! One hand to God. It was meant to be!I went to take my car in for the first oil change and the two gentleman helping me in the service department were so nice and helpful. My partner and I found an SUV that we really liked on their website. I reached out and was able to get approved and get everything ready through cell/text with two employees, Guy and Nabil who were extremely helpful and communicative. When we got there in person, we instantly felt welcomed by them and it took us only 1 hour and 30 min to sign everything and drive off with the car (since we did everything through text prior to coming into the store). I definitely would recommend reaching out to them through text or call first if you live far or have a busy schedule in order to speed up the process before going in. Nabil and Matt (our finance manager) were also super friendly and helped us get the car at a reasonable price. Compared to my previous experiences at car dealerships, I felt very comfortable with these guys and didnt feel pushed or forced to make decisions. They were also open about the prices and charges and helped explained to me what-was-what down to the small details. My credit wasnt the best and my down-payment wasnt big but they worked with what I had and didnt go above my personal price/monthly payment range. I did not buy a Volkswagen car, and personally wouldnt, but they have plenty of other options you could choose from. Overall, I had an amazing experience here and would definitely recommend this place and their service!

They provided the worst service I have ever experienced. It stated when my engine blew. It was covered under warranty so I took it to the dealership to get it serviced. Two months later and many rude phone calls later as I was asking for updates my car was fixed, I got my car back, only for the wiring harness to fall off. Fast forward about 11 months later I take my car for it’s scheduled oil change and a lube tech noticed that my rear main seal is was leaking. So I took it to the dealership to get it fixed. They charge 2000 dollars for the repair. I get my car back and the check engine light is on so I return it to them. Later that day they say they fixed it. I drove my car 6 miles from the dealership before my engine died. I take it back to the mechanics. They inform me that my engine had blown. Then to top it off they threaten me with storage fees so I had to pay to tow my car off they lot 4 days after I paid the 2 grand to fix my car. The warranty for there work expired while they were fixing it so now I’m screwed. Thanks Volkswagen for sucking at fixing your own cars. I wouldn’t trust the mechanics here to change oil on any of my cars, let alone a major repair. I thought almost 200 dollars an hour would get you better mechanical work done.

Big shoutout to Richie for going above and beyond and getting my car in the same day to warranty my sunglass holder. Richie was friendly and communicated with me throughout the whole visit at Lithia VW. Originally I was supposed to drop off my car and pick it up the next day due to my work schedule but when I arrived (30 minutes before they closed) he was able to get me in the same day and back on the road. I have had other parts replaced under warranty at Lithia VW and previous experiences weren’t the best to say the least.

Recently bought a truck from this location. We saw this truck online and we went in knowing we wanted this truck, test drove it and everything went downhill from there. The salesmen and finance guy were all very nice and personal but when it came to finances i feel we were jipped. We traded a vehicle in and wanted to put 2,000 down thinking that would be plenty as a down payment. They came in and said this is your payment if you put 4,000 down along with the 3,000 for our trade in.. there was no could you put 4,000 down it was just assumed we could. We where promised 28 days to come up with the other 2,000 as long as we gave our bank account information. We sat down with the finance guy to sign paperwork, got all the paperwork signed and then were told we had to pay the 2,000 today. The manager approved us to make the 2,000 payment that following Monday due to our bank being closed. We left with an empty gas tank due to their policy of them only filling up vehicles that are bought new. Two weeks later I open our loan account and our opening balance is 10,000 more than what was originally promised for the vehicle. This is our 4th vehicle through a car dealership and by far the worst experience yet!
Was told by the finance guy Matt that we had 20 days to fund our loan through our credit union. Lithia went ahead and funded it themselves in 12 days. These are important financial transactions and they did this knowing full well that we had our funding in order. They of course get kickbacks from most of their own funding institutions so our best interests as customers are not that important apparently. Watch out! Also calling Better Business Bureau

I rent out cars and when my 2019 Jetta dropped off in the afternoon I noticed the engine check was on and I had to take my car to service but I wasnt sure that they could get it ready on time since my next renter was supposed to pick it up after 2 hours but thanks to Richie because he helped me get it ready in 45 minutes and with his help I didnt lose my renter and get was also happy that his reservation with my car hadnt cancelled.Should also say that the staff especially John was so helpful on getting me qualified for my 2019 Jetta although I had 6 other auto loans.Nice people are working at VW Lithia of Reno

I went in on a Saturday. To get my car serviced, and a 30,000 mile check done. The service person there was amazing. Amy was amazing, she even helped me look at some cosmetic fix’s for my car. I had purchased it from another company. But my car will all ways be going to litha, from now on.
They where a awesome team! Jhon st Clair and Nibill the sales manager where great! They helped me and my wife get into a tiguan at a great price. They where also very professional, fast, and courteous. Then after that we meet with our finance person named Matt. He was also very informative on our deal plus offered everything that we needed for our vehicle but nothing that we did not. No pressure to buy anything that we did not want. I would prefer to make an appointment but that’s not an option for an oil change. There was no offer to wash my vehicle and when I take our Toyota in, they do wash the outside for you and you can make an appointment for any type of service.

Came in for an oil change and routine inspections. Carlos assisted me and he was awesome! Came in on a Friday which is a pretty busy day for them and they had my vehicle for about two hours. They called me when it was ready and I went and paid and off I went! Service was great. Did what needed to be done and even asked beforehand if I wanted to add new windshield wipers. I didnt think I really needed them but got them anyways and Im glad I did because my old ones were not as great as I thought! I cant speak for the sales department since I havent purchased here but their parts/service department is awesome!

Make promises. Write up and print out contract then start making demands for more money for down etc. Mice waste of trees for all the paper you print then have to throw away.

It took a little long to get my car fixed (over a month), and then it still wasnt fixed and I had to point that out. Then we had to wait for a part from Germany. The employees made up for it though, theyre friendly and want to be helpful.
Mr. Kazen helped my mother get into a new car. He went above and beyond for her. My mother doesnt have the best of credit scores but this gentleman made it happen. I could not be happier with his customer service, his down to earth honesty and his support. Didnt feel pressured into buying. I had a set monthly payment and I wasnt going to budge. They came through even when my capital one pre approval let me down they didnt. Got what I wanted without having to haggle and without pressure to buy things I didnt need. Would recommend them. I will be going back there for my next car!

Times are tough right now. This I understand. Was able to have vehicle delivered though. Soda stains on passenger side, chip in windshield, and just reset oil life counter without any oil change. Ran a viscosity check at my shop and was disappointed.other than those I love the truck. Repaired chip, detailed inside, and performed a proper oil change. Careful with these guys. Also the washer fluid is deluted with water. Regular washer fluid does not freeze. I sell gallon jugs at work for $1.50. Expect an email with zero concern in return when mentioning these things. Ill post photos of these when I get back to my personal phone. Better to go elsewhere.

Worst Dealership in Reno. I walked in on Sunday to look at a 2015 Chevy Trax LT AWD. I talked to Bryttani that morning and was told to wait to hear back from the bank, we were supposed to hear back by Tuesday but instead we heard back Wednesday. I have a car that was totalled and on a loan, I let them know of that. I also didnt have any additional money to put down for a car because I didnt have a car to use to go work with. I also told them that I dont have a cosigner while I was there. Did they listen? No they absolutely didnt. They asked for my Fiancés information then my mothers. Although my mothers info got me approved, they were asking for $4k down on a vehicle knowing full well that I didnt have that. I was also told by Bryttani to talk to the insurance company and the bank where the loan is and the bank was waiting for the insurance to send the money over to clear the loan while the insurance company said it would take 4-6 months to process it from now. We are on hard times and yet this dealership couldnt care less about people that are in need of a car and dont have the money to do so especially with an insurance company that wont let the loan fall off my record.
Took my car in for repairs service personnel called me with a different story every day. Then told me I couldnt come get my car . Pretty sure they were milking me for the cost of labor to keep working on my car and didnt even fix it.

I had a great experience buying a used vehicle from Lithia Volkswagen a few months back. I am not one to write many reviews but I felt it was deserved in this case. John St. Clair was the salesperson I dealt with. He was a pleasure to deal with and not pushy at all. They were very fair as far as negotiating a price with no hassle. I live in Carson City and when I told John I would be there to look at the truck again once I found a ride he offered and did come pick me up. Well, look no further this is it, and worse....I will spare you the details, but just know, I was lied to, smiled to ONLY BEFORE the purchase, my phone calls unanswered, lied again, and lied again. FYI, if you want to cancel your extended warranty ( which you should NEVER accept in the first place) it will take you 8 months to get a refund!

Im going to try and keep this short and sweet. Randomly walked past VW to get to Toyota (Costco line was long and we wanted to stretch our legs and survey the deals from these weird economic times). We were greeted by Efren. Told Efren that we were in the market to replace my old barely alive car soon, but not sure about VW and with their recent history. Efren made the process so much more about us and letting him know where our line in the sand was on price, features, payments, and WARRANTY. We eventually worked out a deal that is much better than any of the other car makers we were looking at the time. We got 0% financing (which allowed us keep some extra $$$ in the bank now that we didnt have to worry about interest on the payments) and 120 days of delayed payments. And a car with a warranty that makes me sleep way better at night. And to make me feel even more sure of the deal, when we got the car home after a couple hours we noticed a ding, and instead of fighting us tooth and nail - having Efren as the middle man to handle the whole process made me instantly reassured that we made the right move. We got a new car, great service, and a relationship with Efren that might get weird when I name my first born after him. I want to thank the business as a whole, but Efren certainly was very much important in clinching this deal.
I took my vehicle in for 1 problem, the dealer diagnosed it for ANYTHING & EVERYTHING! My vehicle is 10 yrs old & they came back with an estimate to replace anything & nearly everything! Lithias estimate was $10,000+ dollars! What I wanted an estimate for was in the list for $1,897+ !! (Not forgetting everything else they had estimated, when I asked about the items that WERE NOT broken or malfunctioning on the estimate for replacement, I was told that the mechanic felt it should be done because of the vehicle being 10 years old. Well, my feeling is that you do not rebuild the top end of the engine because of model year. You would have that done when its needed to be done. Especially when there are very low miles. Well, suffice to say that the dealer did not do the repairs. I had another shop located in town-Reno, for less than $900 including everything I asked/needed to have done. BTW-I had the other shops Service Advisor & Service Mgr look at the dealers estimate & they double checked everything & could even figure out how you recommend fixing something thats not even broken or malfunctioning! So I feel thats a dirty thing to do to customer. And I will never go to Lithia Volkswagen Service Dept. for anything, again! BEWARE when dealing with them! I wouldnt take my vehicle here again unless it was a warranty covered repair issue. Its a rip-off waiting to happen.
