What a wonderful store! Chris advised us on the perfect kayak for Lake Tahoe! AND ...advised us on other pool toys to enjoy! Actually all the staff got in on the fun....even arranging for the delivery of our kayak! I would HIGHLY recommend this store when shopping for water or any sports equipment, clothing and accessories! (We even got the best Turkish towels there!) BlueZone rocks!

This is a great sports store and killer bike shop too. I first experienced this place in Carson city and now one in South Reno. These guys work so hard. Ben the Manager is a great guy and a expert in bike building. You can really trust these guys and they are honest. Great place to go shopping with great hours.

Everyone there is super helpful and always willing to share their expertise to get you suited up to perform your best! Went in the other day with some mountain bike questions, and Ben set us right up, and made everything super easy. Good vibes and a great environment. 10/10 would revisit, 10/10 would recommend the Reno BlueZone crew for all of you outdoor recreational needs!

Had such a great experience. Went in to rent skis for the season and not only did they have rentals at a great price but they also had great customer service. Chase did a great job finding me my perfect size and getting me completely situated. He was extremely helpful and friendly. Will definitely be returning in the future for all my seasonal rentals and ski needs.

Stopped in simply to rent a ski and snowboard package and all the staff was so helpful and knowledgeable! We came to blue zone after waiting hours for rentals at a resort. They made the process so fast and not to mention affordable. The rentals given were in excellent condition. The staff didn’t just toss equipment at you and send you on your way like other places I’ve rented from before. They took the time to ensure everything was fit properly and comfortable. I would 100% recommend for daily rentals and seasonal leases. All the staff was very attentive and were more than happy to answer the hundreds of questions we had (inexperienced skiers). I will definitely be returning to Bluezone when in the Reno/Tahoe area.

Store is organized and has a wide selection of everything sports to choose from. Staff is friendly and Chris was very helpful and knowledgeable.

This company is awesome. Brand new store that had their opening pains, but they set me and my two boys up great for two fun days of renting ski equipment. Their customer service is spectacular. This is where I will be going to get my ski equipment on our annual trip to Reno!

What an utter disappointment. I had high hopes that Reno would finally have a solid shop that combines solid inventory and acceptable customer service.After spending >$1500 on new skis, boots, bindings, etc., I was told theyd have the size ski I needed delivered to their store in 1-2 days (in time for Christmas eve). No call. I call on Christmas eve and they advise the ski will be there that night. I drive down to the store that night - no ski. It will be here first thing in the morning - well call you. No call. Fast forward a week - no call. Roughly 2 weeks after I placed my order they say Its in our warehouse but theyre on vacation - I think we can get it on Monday. Me: You think or you know its there? Store manager: I think but am not sure.I ended up returning everything, and within 5 minutes on backcountry.com had all the gear I need purchased at a far better deal with expedited shipping and a tracking number. Thats customer service.As a Tahoe area native, I always support my local shop and resist online retailers. Unfortunately, Blue Zone is doing nothing to gain anyones loyalty and even less to ingratiate themselves to their newest city, Reno. I do have to say that Maya there is awesome - she fit me for boots, knows her stuff, and was the only one of the 4-5 staff who attempted an apology for wasting 2 weeks of my time. Everyone else is you typical ski shop bro who couldnt care less.
