I have been a PB advocate for years. But, since moving to Reno, I have had nothing but problems. Karen is very nice and knowledgeable BUT, the manager Shannon needs a refresh course in customer service. Everything is great until it’s not. Not impressed. Looks like. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Karen was very helpful and friendly. Ive been looking at purchasing a new sectional sofa and she showed me the different options and went thru fabric samples with me. She told me about the sale prices but wasnt pushy at all. Karen was very relaxed and knowledgeable.

I love pottery barn. Its oh so pricey, but their stuff is stylish. This particular visit, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the lady that helped us was. She was great. Would go back and see her for more purchases.

Customer service needs attention.

This Pottery Barn store is located in the Sierra Summit shopping center, which is at the intersection of I-580/US 395 and Mount Rose Highway. A Pottery Barn store is a Pottery Barn store -- it is the local team that makes it . . . or not. I periodically visit this store to sometimes window shop and sometimes buy. The team has always been helpful -- inquiring but not pushy. Service with a smile. As for the experiences of other raters, I can only say that they had one-off incidents. As a regular visitor to this particular store, I have not experienced what they have.

Love this store. Displays are always enticing and show so many ways to put items together. Large assortment of candles, pillows and various tchotchkes.

A place for the most intiltled people ever, over priced dust collectors haven. Even the most inconsequential items are over priced. They definitely have their nech clientele. If youre just an average working person & want to be treated like your scum of the earth this is the place for you.

Horrible service. I asked for help twice and was told she was busy. I ended up trying to put together the bedding ensemble I wanted. I called the Roseville store to get help. I asked the salesperson in Reno if she could help me find the quilt. Again, she was rude and too busy. Thanks to the nice lady in Roseville, she will put the ensemble together for me to pick up when I’m back in town.

I have to share the lack of customer care in this store. We were visiting from out of state this past weekend and we usually venture out to this shopping center. I just wanted to pay for 2 margarita glasses, and ask an associate to check if they have 2 new ones in the back. Im not a fan of purchasing the displays. We stood in 1 spot in the front of store by the register for 15 minutes. One employee walks by and does not even look up at us. She was not helping anyone. We walk to the back register, hoping to get some help from the employee being the counter, he does not look up from the screen. This was a frustrating moment and I put the glasses back and walked out. This shouldnt happen at any store. I will continue to shop online.

Dirt cheap quality with an expensive price tag, and horrible product service. Though their wares may be stylish, most arent exactly original. You can find similar (and better) designs at genuine high end design stores many months before youll find it here. What they do is imitate others wares at a much cheaper production cost, then up the price. Almost none of their furniture is made of real wood, but rather a cheaper foam composite, and if you get something thats rather fragile, say for instance, a light fixture such as the one I purchased, if it happens to break during shipping or instalation, they wont replace anything or give reimbursement. Nothing Ive seen here is very well engineered. Almost like they want you to keep coming in every couple of years to replace whatever it is youv bought rather than build quality that lasts. Also, the salespeople are grossly unproffesional in that either they loom over you like vultures, tense on your every move, or theyre far too busy to be bothered by the likes of you, depending on the day. If your gonna drop this kind of money, spend it wisely on good, quality furniture thats well thought out and designed for longevity. This place is just a money pit for the naive and ignorant.

I have found both the Reno store and the Boise to be totally horrible when it comes to customer service. It is an embarrassment that the store management allows this.

They have the worst customer service representative very unprofessional Iwaited for 2 hours I spoke to Roberta and I put her on a brief hold and she hung up on me .I asked for a Manager and she said that there was no manager available this is a “high class furniture store” with the worst customer service help

The staff is very friendly although I was a little bit put off because they wouldnt honor the price for an item that was in the catalog their in-store price was more than the online price
