I just picked up my 2010 GMC 2500 and had a very large bill to pay - I am extremely glad I brought my truck to Pro 1. This was a massive electrical/communication/module failure problem and Pro 1 kept me informed through parts delays they had nothing to do with, extremely tedious diagnostic steps, and costs as the project went on. Bryan - my tech - was diligent and thoroughly researched issues as they developed. He met with me personally to walk through the process and explain what I should expect. He is an amazingly experienced tech who is humble enough to ask other experts for counsel in order to protect his customer and control costs. Incredible, made appointment, came to shop a week later, car was in the garage before paperwork was done. Called when part was needed apologized had to keep overnight. Called at 10:00 it was done. I have tried several independents and 2 dealers and they all were crooks and lies about it. These guys kept estimated price, kept me informed, and completed work as fast as possible. I will go to pro 1 every time I need work on my cars!

Went to smog a 2003 Heavy duty Ford-f250 diesel. $37.50!w(°ｏ°)wMuch cheaper than other HD Diesel smogs. No wait, in-and-out in 15 minutes with no appointment! Highly recommend. Will DEFINITELY go back for other services too. In addition to the Hubs ManTruck, I drive a GirlHatch(-back) ;) [dont hate!]. 2010 Hyundai Accent 3-door Hatchback - 35mpg all day, every time.

Great place, when everyone was busy.. I was nervous to drive car, they took the time out of their busy schedule to check my car and let me know if it was safe to drive.

I was told by another dealer that I needed new rear brakes and quoted me a price. I shopped around and made an appointment at Pro 1.I worked with Paul who did an inspection and told me I still had a lot of miles on the brakes rather than just keeping quiet about it and putting new brakes on. I have been using Pro1 for years for my diesel smogs on many trucks. Have generally had good service although a little slow. Not so much on my last visit. Apparently a new service writer that has a bit of an attitude.

Been there 3 or 4 times. Always treated politely and with respect. Wait times are fair. Work done properly and satisfactory. Good place to bring my diesel truck.

By far the best shop Ive been to in years. Friendly and knowledgeable. I felt that they really care about the customer and their vehicles.

Had to get brake lights fixed. Brought it in about noon or so and they looked at it thinking they may have to keep it til the next day to diagnose and fix. But wound up fixing it anyway. I do have to bring it back because now the tail lights arent working but thats not on them.

I would have given them a 5 star but they got my plate number wrong on my smog paperwork.

My fuel line broke when I was driving through Reno. I was disabled 6 hours from home. I looked up diesel mechanics, and Pro 1 was third down due to my location. I called the first two and they could not help me. I spoke to Paul at Pro 1, and he said, “bring it in, we will get you back on the road.I had it towed and it was too late to start the job. Paul said that they’d have it done by 1-2pm the next day as it would be a 4 hour job. The next morning at 11am, Paul called and said it was done. They must have started first thing in the morning.When I got there, the mechanic went over in detail what repairs were done. Everyone I talked to was very friendly, helpful and professional. I can’t recommend them enough.

Pro 1 is our go to shop for our entire fleet. Diesel and gas vehicles. We have used a couple of other shops in the area and weren’t as happy. Pro1 does quality work quickly and for a fair price. Highly recommend checking them out.

We were here waiting to drop off a vehicle, and the owner came out and invited us in, and they were having a big barbecue and gave us an amazing chicken barbecue with cokes, and talked with us for awhile. I got both my trucks smog checked here. First time took a half hour. Second time was less than 20 min. Excellent service both times.

I have been using Pro 2 Automotive for 20 years now. They may not be the least expensive place for auto repair, but they consistently do things right. My vehicles are literally my life right now, and saving money on a less than reliable repair or maintenance is a poor investment.

Wouldn’t recommend any other auto repair in the area, this should be your only stop for car care. One of the better shops I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with.We were on a cross country trip and sort of in a bind. With a long trip home, we were perfect prey for abuse as we didn’t have much of a choice either way.That said, the technicians at this garage went above and beyond in multiple different ways. First, they put a priority on our service which was crucial as we had nowhere to stay. Second, the price for the service was beyond fair, with us expecting it much higher, for the hours of service done. Our technician was helpful at every step of the way and made recommendations for how to proceed in the future.

Called to make an appointment with assurance I would be out the door in 30min for an oil change. After waiting over 50min I noticed they guy working on my truck attempting to fill my windshield wiper fluid which I filled the day before and was visably full. I then asked how long my truck was going to take he said another 30-40min. I asked if he could just change my oil so I could keep my set schedule. He ignored me. After the front office asked him to just change the oil, I was out in 10min! I did NOT bring my truck in for you to spend an hour trying to find something to charge me for, then finally getting done what I requested. Be more respectful for a customers time then your bottom line.

They have always done solid work on my diesel truck. Their quotes have been reasonable, and they really try to take care of people. You cant make an appointment for an oil change but that can be an advantage and a disadvantage.

Definitely do not recommend, My mom took her car there to have an oil pressure sensor changed because it was flickering on the dash, a few hours later after it was swapped car is smoking making noise and noticed a bad leak from the sensor area, towed it to another shop and they diagnosed and found they overtorqued the new sensor and damaged the female threads and cracked the housing, also found metal in the oil and filter after running with nearly no oil so need a new engine now and paul has been horrible with customer service and chooses to deflect the situation and state her car is not even worth 500$ anyway.

This team went over and above to provide the best in customer service and performance! Their work is quality and they stand behind their work. I have taken my old mx6 there multiple times and am always pleased. Highly reccommended!!

My husband and I were able to get his diesel truck and my gas car smogged here in 10 minutes! They were great and told us about a DMV kiosk at Raleys on Mira Loma that we registered both vehicles and got our tags! It was so easy! This will be our go to place!

Took my diesel truck in for a smog. The folks here were friendly, service was fast and their waiting room was clean and well-appointed. There are cheaper competitors but the overall experience is completely worth a couple bucks once a year.

Fantastic shop. Brought in a 30 year old car to get an inspection and a fluid change. I knew what was wrong in the car, and I was curious to see what they would report back after the fluid change. These guys know their stuff. The confirmed everything I suspected and even found 2 items I wasnt aware of, and all of the prices are right for the level of service and expertise they possess. Its hard to find shops that will work on a 30 year old vehicle and be HONEST about it. Clean and professional, and even gave a detailed write up with everything on the vehicle and included photos and action items on the inspection.Will be coming back.

I have been going to Pro One Autamotive for years because I like Dustin in the shop. He is competent and honest. I have had many good experiences up to this point. I went in with my Diesel truck to drop it off for two weeks while on vacation. I told the front desk I would be gone one week. I spoke with Dustin about the injector related symptoms and said he would take care of it no problem. I then went on vacation and didnt get a call for 8 days. I called them to find out what was up and they couldnt tell me. Apparently Dustin left on vacation and someone else did diagnostics on it finding a million things wrong. I told them to have Dustin call me Monday. He did and apologized saying he would take care of it. We even discussed the cost of the 2 injectors that were bad as I expected. He said he would call back with a quote to do 2 or all 4 on that side. No one called back. I called days later to get quotes from the front desk $2700 for two injectors and $3600 for all 4. I said no way. 3600 would be all 8. The guy said my truck was very expensive to own and if I didnt like the price tuff and I could pay $360 to pick it up. So my truck is going to another shop that will take care of it from now on. You can walk in Ford parts and get 8 injectors for $1840. Wasted two weeks doing nothing but gambling with my money. Now the the service writer claims it was all a computer mistake and swears that even if I had agreed on the $3600 I wouldnt have been charged that much. Of course not!

Check prices at other places. 2000 F350 charged me $463 for a front hub/bearing assy part number BR930424. Around $220 online at several auto parts sights. Charged me $130 to diagnose the problem after I told them what it was. I do not recommend this shop.

My husband and I had both vehicles smogged today. One was a diesel truck and one a gas car. We were done in about 10 minutes! They told us about the DMV kiosk at Raleys on McCarran. We went there, within 10 minutes had both vehicles registered and got the new tags! We were so impressed with Pro 1, the staff was great, the waiting area clean and cost for the smog tests were so reasonable! This will be our go to place!

They started up the computer hooked her up, and give me the codes on paper. Very nice place, friendly staff, would highly recommend them.

Quality work, fair prices, quick turn around, and knowledgeable/skilled/friendly staff. Pro 1 Automotive is the cream of the crop. I have been bringing my vehicles to Pro 1 for the last 6 years for everything from oil changes to major repair work. They have always fixed my vehicles right and the first time. They may not be the cheapest shop in town but from my experience my vehicle usually ends up at Pro 1 anyways to fix other shops mistakes. Thank you Pro 1 you guys have never failed to impress me and keep my vehicles in tip-top shape!

We brought our truck here about a month ago to get a smog check. The service was awesome. They got us in & out so fast!! The price for a diesel smog was the best price I found compared to 2 other places I called.

My service engine light came on and time was of the essence to get it diagnosed. Pro 1 was busy on the day I took it in, but they jumped on the service, replaced a glow plug and cracked turbo boot, and had it ready for me the next day. Great effort! The only reason I did not give a 5 star is they were reticent on calling me back and keeping me up to speed on the status. Minor issue, but made it difficult to plan for rides home.

My SUV broke down at the intersection right by this place. I literally pushed it into their establishment. They must have known this because they quoted me $325 for a DIAGNOSIS! I obviously said no and asked if I could leave my broke down vehicle parked there in the meantime. THE GUY SAID NO! One of the mechanics even stood there and did nothing but watch me as I pushed my SUV to the next parking lot.Some businesses would relish the opportunity to help a customer in despair. This is basically steroids for word-of-mouth advertising. Pro 1 Automotive does not feel this way. Anytime any conversation comes up regarding automotive repair businesses I will tell this story. DO NOT GO TO PRO 1 AUTOMOTIVE!!!!!

Yes they are a 5 star shop but be forewarned, they are busy! I always take that as a good sign, if they werent good no one would want to go to them. But because they are such a good shop they have a wait list on just looking at your car. Its worth the wait.So to the actual review. My wife and I both have diesel vehicles. We bounced around a few shops and never really found a place we felt confident in. We happened on Pro1 based on a suggestion/recommendation from a family member, and we couldnt be happier.They have taken care of my Excursion that had been sitting for about 10 months. It runs perfectly and is so reliable I have no issues taking my kids in it. My wifes F250 has had new fuel injectors and now almost the complete front end is being redone.Pro1 has also fixed issues another shop claimed to, and has had zero issues prioritizing repairs based on my budget (ie. Dont drive it until this is done, this is ok to drive for a bit but will need to be done, and keep an eye on this eventually it will need to be fixed). They also were willing to hold onto my wifes truck until we could afford the repairs. No pressure or making us feel bad, just allowing us to make payments and having it ready to roll when we finally paid off the balance and were ready to take it home.If you can handle the wait to get into them, you likely will not regret it. Its a shop that has integrity and takes care of their customers. I can not recommend them enough.

My AC went out and after having been to other places I chose to go here. Although my car was in the shop for several days due to wrong parts being sent I really liked that they wanted to make sure everything was right before letting me drive away. They even took some off the price. Friendly staff and great business.
