My 2007 Ion3 had a cracked manifold and exhaust. It was repaired quickly and at a reasonable price. It passed SMOG without further work! The staff were friendly and professional. They kept me informed and were fast and efficient!!

Came in with my F250 wanting to have a Cat Back exhaust installed. Came in on a Thursday afternoon, Jon walked me through my options and what benefits would come with their custom exhaust. He was very thorough, and very polite. (something missing in the auto shop industry) I was expecting them to be about 10 days out for an appointment like most places but they fit me in the very next day. Dropped my truck off at 9am and it back by 3pm on what appeared to be a very busy work day for them. Jon again walked me through what they did, told me if I had any issues they would address them immediately. Phenomenal work. I would 100% recommend this shop. Their customer service and information about what they were going to do for the job were second to none.

Whether its going to LT Automotive to have catalytic converters and associated components necessary to pass a failed smog (I now passed!), Or for having them repair the brakes and associated components required for the wife to be able to drive safely, LT Automotive is for us. If you are looking for a cheap shop, then maybe someplace else because this shop has great employees, use great parts, and provide great service which does not come cheap. Going back to have my oil cooler lines replaced soon. Thank you guys for taking care of us!Update! So I called on 8/18/21 and asked Tonya if I could bring my truck the following Wednesday. I told her I would need the cooler lines done the same day, and she told me that as long as I get truck in early in the morning, that they should be able to get it done the same day. The wife gets up early on her day off to go with me to drop the truck off, and we have it there by 8:15 am.Around 3pm I get a call that my truck now will not be ready until the following day. They told me the reason for not having my truck ready was because one of the two cooler lines sent to them was the wrong part, but with the truck there early I felt that they should have had enough time to get the right part to stay on track. Also, the quote went up, and I paid $328 to have one cooler line done and now have to figure out about the other one. The lesson is that they are a good shop, but things dont always go right even in good shops I guess.

As always, honest evaluation and excellent service. I trust what they tell me. 144,000 miles and going strong because of their service.

My regular mechanic had to move his shop & isnt operational, but luckily I found LT Automotive, when I called the guy was super friendly and professional. He was able to get my vehicle in for service the next day, with hopes off the repair being done by the end of the week. Turns out all the parts needed for the repair were in stock and they ended up repairing my truck that day. Being its my work truck it really made a difference.I think Ive found a new mechanic now, and will definitely be going back if I need service again.

I was worried about a sound coming from my back end that I had been hearing for a couple months. I finally decided to have it looked at 4 days before I was to drive to Portland, OR. I called a couple other shops but no one could even look at for a couple weeks. A friend told me to call LT... I spoke with Jon and he squeezed me in the same day. I had a complete diagnostic report by the end of the day and okayd the repairs. The were done by lunch the following day. I was quoted a very reasonable price and actually came in slightly under! They are great guys that do great work, and best of all I never felt like I was getting taken advantage of... Honest place to go!!!

Had my converters sawed off and stolen, after checking around I went into LT & decided I’d go with them. I knew the job would be expensive (no insurance coverage for type of claim, so not on LT) but they did what they could to help me out. Check engine light came on the next day after repair and they got it up and looked at it right away and fixed it, also rotated my tires all free of charge. Took care of me. Solid place, solid costumer service.

All repair completed properly. Cat converter passed smog.

They were amazing! My pickup is so old that the part I needed isnt in existence anymore. So the LT staff ordered a similar part and adapted it. And it works great!

Friendly enough people. Unfortunately, the actual technical service and timeliness was not very good. I brought a mid 1990s Ford van in for a failed smog and check engine light. It is an old van that certainly was in need of maintenance. It was diagnosed and a plan was agreed to that included having the van ready to be back to me in a 3-4 business day time. At the end of that time I called (no-one called me) to inquire. It turns out the repairs were not done and the parts were a day or two away. It ended up costing me a plane ticket back to town to pick up the van. Again, sadly the morning I am leaving to fly back and pick up the van (I work out of town in 2 or 4 week periods) I call and tell the office staff that I will be in later in the day. A few minutes later I get a text from LT Automotive telling me that the check engine light is back on and the van isnt ready. This is after I paid the bill a week ago when they called and said, pay us the van is ready. Well, I am wheels up on the flight there is in a few minutes was my response. A couple hours later I call to find out that the original work they did the week prior has failed and the check engine light is on again. In summary, as a consumer that doesnt fix cars for a living the technical explanations and diagnosis seemed weak. Bottom line, if you have no timeline and endless money go ahead and leave your vehicle here for them to get-around to fixing. If you are expecting respectful treatment fo your time and transparent communication this is probably not for you. In the end the answer ended up being, call the warranty number and take it some where else when yo get to where you are going..... If I get there? Oh yeah, they forgot to do the oil change that I had asked for as well.

This was my second time at LT but it wont be my last. They did some routine maintenance for me and took a look at the front end because it was acting strange then went back to normal. Short story, they figured out what needs fixing now and helped me decide how to move forward.Full disclosure, I did automotive electrical/electronics for 30+ years including my own shop before multiple schlerosis forced me to stop so Im a bit skidish about taking my car anywhere to pay someone else to do things I could do for myself. So I reluctantly called LT primarily because I know they have been in business quite a while and these days you cant do that for long if you arent on the up and up.The repairs and maintenance where done on time and at a reasonable price. They kept in touch with emails and texts including a comprehensive report on the overall condition of my car complete with pictures and notes regarding things they found that I was not aware of.Very happy and glad I made that call.Friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and affordable. LT Automotive has it.

Good experience...way overpriced...but it saved me from having to do the brakes myself

I have been very impressed with LT Automotive, they did a very thorough inspection of my truck, and fixed the main problem it was brought in for (bad catalytic converter) but also fixed a bad wheel axle seal and brake shoes replacement. I think they were very professional and thorough, and I will not hesitate to bring the truck back if anything goes wrong with it. It’s a very old (25 years) high mileage (408,000 miles) Toyota and it’s back on the road running great!

The people at the front desk are great, nice, friendly people. The mechanics are honest and straight forward with everyone, and will even give you advice on how to fix something on your own.

The folks over at LT Automotive were very precise in diagnosing the problems with my car I had my car towed to them and they gave me a very detailed inspection of my car they also give for AAA discounts for being a member they are very courteous and professional so thank you guys my car runs beautifully I will be back to start the repairs listed on my vehicle inspection

Replaced heater core. Wanted nothing to do with that, always heard Jeep heater cores were ruff! Glad they repaired it for me. They flushed my coolant and replace missing hard ware and screws in dash so not to rattle. They gave me a price before starting. To the dime. Good JOB to everyone at LT Automotive.

I took the used car Id just purchased in for the recommended repair. LT Automotive sent me a complete diagnostic report on the car via text, complete with photos showing recommended work. This diagnostic didnt cost me anything, and was more thorough than anything Id received from any other mechanic.They had it fixed in a day, gave me an excellent price and polite professional communication and service.HIGHLY recommend this shop!

LT built and installed a custom exhaust system for my 1964 Buick Riviera. Their workmanship was great and their communication was frequent and thorough.

We knew major work on brakes, exhaust and steering systems was needed for our stored RV and we couldnt be happier with the work done by LT. In a town where it can be difficult to get RV work done even in the best of times, LT came through in the midst of a record heat wave and evacuations due to area wildfires.

They told me what needed attention and helped work out a schedule for fixing them. The people are nice and knowledgeable. They work here- I didn’t witness Lollygagging. My 11 year exhaust system was rusted bad. They got to me about 2:00 but when I called earlier they said be at the shop at 1:00. Luckily I was off work with nothing to do. I’d come back here again.

This was my first visit here but it wont be my last. Full disclosure; I worked in automotive electrical/electronics diagnosis and repair for 30yrs so Im familiar with automotive. I also have a hard time paying someone else to do what I used to do for myself.Waiting for my vehicle I did what most people do, check in on the email from that Nigerian prince who swears the money is on its way, etc. I also managed to burglarize snippets of conversations the service writers would have both with thier customers and each other.I was impressed at both thier knowledge of the subject at hand and the patience they showed when explaining it to someone who had little understanding of what is being discussed. I admire thier skills. I could also tell these guys actually care about the quality of there work.It was my first time, but not my last

The sound of the vehicle changed and the driving was much smoother with the replacement of the rusted exhaust muffler. It felt like I was driving a different vehicle. It was comfortable talking to the office personnel. I appreciated that they showed me what needed to be repaired before the work. The cost was reasonable.

They charged me over $130 for a diagnosis that I didn’t ask for or want. It was obvious that the exhaust was as separated between the cat and muffler. I asked for them to fix that, instead they ran a full diagnosis to try and find anything else they could charge me for and make more money, OVER the $648 they charged me to fix the exhaust leak. WAY too expensive for work they performed.I do NOT recommend LT Automotive for any minor repairs due to their high costs.

I didnt complain about the over priced repair, but I am going to complain about the bolts that were not tightened on my manifold shield. One of which came out while driving at 70 in Sierraville and then bouncing into my radiator fan. The bolts and shield were just laying on top. And the bolts are very long. About 3.5. Unbelievable.

This place is great. I took my car there for muffler work. Not only did they do a great job, but they also checked out my car. I now know what all repairs I need. Currently got my wifes car in there getting a full front brake job and tune up. I will be bringing my car back to get its motor mounts and brakes done. Everyone is very friendly and professional. Above all else, they are honest. I can honestly say now, this is the ONLY place any of my cars will be repaired from now on. LT Auto just made 2 customers for life.

After their fantastic emergency service when my Alternator failed a year ago, I called Tanya at LT Auto back to schedule a LOF and take a look at my A/C and brakes before the heat of summer. So, first she explained that I probably didn’t need the A/C service with my older vehicle, which was much appreciated. Then, John & Gonzo took care of me again with a full service inspection texted to me with pics! They even found that my fan clutch had seized (an extremely loud and hard to find nuisance on my Nissan that I have had 3 service stations try to find to no avail. With the additional repairs, it was going to set my back—before John called me he has already constructed a package that basically gave me the LOF and general labor for FREE and got me up and running safely and _quietly!_ What an amazing crew and service that came in Under the Estimate—AGAIN! LT took great care of us and our RV. We bought a 1995 Fleetwood Bounder and had LT look it over for an exhaust leak. They got us an appointment quickly, let us bring it in the Friday before our appointment to be locked in their yard, and started the work on time. John was great about giving us the whole picture, cost, expectations and updates. Being new to the world of RVs his honestly and professionalism were greatly appreciated. They put the whole team on our job in order to have it ready for us in time for memorial weekend. Would recommend them to anyone looking for quality, affordable work!

Actually said they planned to check more common and cheaper issues first, rather then going on and on about, how it could maybe possibly be a expensive thing that they should work on right away, like alot of places do.

LT is the best place! My truck broke down, and had to have it towed. LT put it back together in 24 hours. Runs great. Brought my 14 Subaru Outback in for oil change...it was constantly burning oil! Found out that the owners manual suggests wrong oil weight - havent had a problem since. Will continue to bring my cars here!!
