Very nice fellow but really unhelpful. Especially after seeing the reviews for work they were willing to do on a 1994 RV but werent willing to work on my 05 Tahoe. Said there were too many miles to even do a rebuild, didnt want to do a simple 300$ service because it was a waste of my money and he was pretty sure it was a typical problem that would require the rebuild before anyone drove it. To be fair I thought it was slipping too but thats why I asked them to at least drive it for 119$ I think. But that all sat wrong with me I ultimately picked it up before they laid any hands on it and didnt have to pay anything except the unnecessary trip to Reno and back.

Rebuilt the transmission for a 1994 ford E350 chassis, class C camper. Good friendly service and good followup after 300 miles. The mechanic spent time with me explaining my specific transmission, engine, and vehicle weight combinations effect on driving, maintenance, and upkeep. I took notes :-).

This was by far the best help for my 2015 WRX. My car is back to normal and the follow up calls by Aaron were helpful. The staff really care and take pride in their work.

My wifes AC broke on our Armada, and so we took it to AAMCO to get it fixed. After paying 850 bucks, and taking it home, we realized on a really hot day that the AC wasnt blowing like it should for being a new system. We brought it back the next day and Dennis fixed the little issue that was wrong with it at no charge. He made it right. Five stars. Knowledgeable technicians, friendly, and great service.

This shop is the poster child why auto repair has such a bad reputation. My transmission went out so I had it towed here. Later (a few hours and no estimate no work done yet) I decided the vehicle just wasnt worth the new transmission. When I went to have the car towed out I was given a $400 bill...when I asked for a detailed invoice...I got nothing. They did nothing to my car but allowed it to be towed in to their lot and scammed me for $400 bucks. This shop is nothing but thieves. Do not take your vehicle here they will rip you off.

Our car was struggling a little as we went over the mountains to the west of Reno. We thought it must be the transmission. Took it in to them when they opened. They analyzed it for us. Victor showed me the codes from the computer and explained what was happening, an occasional misfire in one of the cylinders. Dennis took time to explain to us what was happening, what could be causing it, the ramifications for a long drive home, and what to check once we got home. They didnt charge us anything for the analysis. We really appreciated their help.

Stuck with the quoted price - finished on time - even thru in a serpentine belt for free! I researched the cost for transmission rebuild and AAMCO was super competitive. They discovered another issue that I would have missed and took care of it. Now I know what a Harmonic Balancer is. Great service all around from Aaron and the crew!

Did not do the service they advertised and gave me a ridiculous quote for work needed. Ended up asking for my money back, which they agreed and did.
