As previously stated by several others, my service was subpar as well. Scheduled a simple oil change and tire rotation. Just getting an appointment is a hassle since nobody will return phone calls. Customer service is pretty much non existent. The “service advisor” made me feel like I was an inconvenience since he was the only person in the place on a Saturday.After picking up the vehicle I noticed that even though they rotated my tires they failed to check pressures. And this wasn’t the first time.I am told that Mercedes of USA loves to hear about their dealers. Maybe that would motivate them to try a little harder.And the manager can call me if he wants too.

Our experience at Mercedes-Benz was outstanding. We were purchasing the car from out of state and having it shipped to us. The price was very fair! Nicholas took the time to show us the vehicle and answer our MANY questions and concerns promptly. When he found that something wasn’t working properly on the (used) car, he notified us immediately! The whole process was truly a breeze. In our opinion, MB of Reno is an excellent dealership to purchase a vehicle through. We couldn’t be happier!

They cant get your car in for weeks, not friendly or helpful and definitely NOT the service you would expect from Mercedes. Lori in parts is downright unpleasant to customers! So far, low marks! Go to a privatemechanic, youll be better off.

Took over a month to get scheduled for oil change and tire rotation. As part of my warranty, I get 6 free services. Drop off was easy enough as I did it the night before. They had my car all day (Friday) and never received a call that it was ready. Called Saturday AM and yes it was ready. Went to pick up car, waited in service area for 15 minutes before I went to the sales floor to ask if anyone was available to help me. Sales man was abrupt in saying Yes, they will be with you when they get there. 15 more minutes the service guy shows up to help me. Service receipt showed they didnt get to the car until Saturday morning. Service was top notch when I bought the car, and this needs to be carried forward beyond the initial sale. I was highly disappointed with this interaction.

No response to voice mail messages left to service and parts departments, no response to email, several calls over several days with no return call and no live person to deal with in parts to find out if they had parts in stock. Impossible to get a 40k standard service in a reasonable time frame (the quoted over 2 months) I had to go out of state for service. Failure to deliver the promise of the brand,,,,, I get it’s COVID time but I was able to book service appointments in CA OR WA all within a few days and they had people answering the phone in parts, there is something seriously wrong at this dealership

Went in for some recall work on a Sprinter 4x4 RV. Craig in the service center was friendly, transparent, and got our van taken care of. I know that they are incredibly busy, yet I still received an excellent quality of service and my van was ready in a couple hours. Very happy with my experience.

Craig in the service department mustve been having a bad day because it was an inconvenience to leave my car in the front while my ride picked me up due to my car being in the shop for a month.I went in for a recall on my sunroof and he explained only a couple technicians could handle such a complicated task. Thats scary if only 2 of your technicians could handle a sunroof recall, I wouldnt trust them past an oil change if thats the case. He wanted me to wait in the lobby with a car seat, some things I bought from the store, a gym bag, work boots and other miscellaneous items Id need if my car was there a month. I decided to leave, definitely not how I expected to be treated at my local Mercedes-Benz shop.I called the next closest Mercedes-Benz shop which was in California and they said theyd order the parts and call me when they had them and it would be 2 days top. Maybe Craig wasnt happy I was only there for a recall. Regardless Id say take your car out of town or try a smaller local shop that specializes in Mercedes-Benz

Terrible service! They don’t answer the phones. Long hold times. Multiple disconnections after 15-20 minute holds. They never call back if you use the option to keep your place in line and leave a call back number. It takes numerous calls just to book an appointment. Then they routinely underestimate the repair times to avoid giving you a loaner car. And if you are lucky enough to get a loaner car they try to charge you for fuel (and a fuel surcharge fee) even if you’ve replaced the fuel used. This dealership is pretty much a nightmare to deal with. Avoid if at all possible!

Marcos, Jim and Tucker are Pros! We needed a car quick, we found the GLS we were looking for at Mercedes Benz of Reno. Price was good and the no haggle thing took the pressure off. Marcos organized the whole thing remotely and I flew in from CO to pickup the car. Marcos picked me up in our new car! A couple hours in the dealership and I was outta there driving 1400 miles back home. Times are tough for everyone, lot’s of personal and professional stress on all employees and businesses. I appreciate the job these guys did for us, they work thier butts off and deserve a great review. Thank you guys!!

Please take it down in writing about the offers and features the Sale Advisor pitch you specially for Used Car. I was told that the Mercedes Benz ML 350 car comes with 2 Keys even when I specifically asked the Sales Advisor about it, but later while taking delivery it was discovered that it has only 1 key and I need to shell out extra 500$ to buy it.. Disgusting..!!! More so currently they are short of Service Advisor, which might results in delay in Servicing of your Car. New Mercedes Benz owners please be aware of this, while dealing with them..!!Best in Class set up but poor Service. !!! They should stop selling new cars at least inaway they can service the existing customers. Else they might be dissatisfying both new and existing customers.

Awesome experience, I am in the process of moving from CA to NV. About 100 miles out, I received several alarm lights on the dash and lost all power, I rolled to the side of the road and called the closest MB distributor which was MB of Reno. They quickly put me in contact with Michael S. He explained what the alarms were and after shutting off the engine for a few minutes and restarting, the only alarm was check engine. He said it would be ok to drive in the next morning and have them look at it. He also said that they were fully booked but would try and get me in as quickly as possible. He said that he would be there at 7:00 am and to meet him there. I drove in about 6:45 and he was already busy opening up and by 7:10, my car was already in the repair bay. Michael and his team are wonderful. Once I finally get moved to Dayton, Michael is my guy. I know it takes more than one person to make a great team so, thank you all, Mercedes-Benz of Reno team!!

Team here is great and they do a wonderful job of being proactive vs reactive to the needs of you car . Would normally give 5 stars if it wasn’t for a Miscellaneous charge that shows up at the end . Most recently it was about 80 dollars . When I asked they told me is was to make up for costs like rags and supplies . You would think that would be included in the cost of the repair .

Recently purchased new tires (not from Mercedes), needed an alignment. I called the Service Dept. First available appt was in 6 weeks! What the heck?? Called my Service Advisor, had an alignment the next day! Thank you Brandon Mulhunberg for continuing to provide us (we are a family of 3 MB cars!) with excellent service. Whether it’s been a recall (just had a big one with our diesel ML) or routine maintenance, Brandon does a great job of setting things up AND following through. I purchased my vehicle from Autonation and they promised that they would be changing the windshield as per our agreement when we bought the car. Its been a month and the windshield is still not changed. They asked to hold on to the car for the duration of the time it would take to fix the windshield. If I had not asked to keep the car then I would be out of a car for a month. The dealership is consistently deflecting and delaying the service to fix the vehicle that I purchased from Autonation.

I went into Mercedes-Benz of Reno today to purchase a chassis battery for my sprinter built out into a Winnebago era. The showroom parts and service departments and the bathroom I will say where the cleanest Id seen in any establishment. The parts man was helpful brought my battery out to the car and I drove off $200 exchanged for the chassis battery. It was an impressive auto dealership. Im sure youll have a good experience.

If you buy a Mercedes and expect to get it serviced from this place then please do not hold your breath, because you will not survive. Zero communication skills and they will outright ignore you especially if you did not buy the car from them (I tried but they had no inventory). Also, dont expect any support at all from Mercedes corporate office or the roadside assistance. We purchased an AMG and you would have thought we bought a 74 Ford Pinto. I cannot recommend Mercedes or this service department in any way shape or form. This is a big corporation that could careless about customer service. Best of luck if you choose otherwise.

I paid +$1100 for a routine maintenance service on my Sprinter - expensive, but I understand the costs associated with maintaining a MB. Where Mercedes-Benz of Reno fell short, was when I picked up the van, it had a brand new issue when accelerating that did not exist prior to the service. They got the van back in the shop the following week where I waited 6 hours to be told that it would cost an addition $7-10K to remedy the new issue. All in all, it would seem that Mercedes-Benz of Reno is not only painfully over-priced, but doesnt make right on there mistakes.

I am very disappointed in the Mercedes Benz of Reno sales department management customer service, which included being told that I received an automated response mimicking what appeared to be an authentic email from the GM. Unfortunately I then received condescending emails when I was following up on the sales inquiry. My prior experiences have been with Mercedes Benz of Oakland dealership, which were very different in terms of truly positive and great customer service. Perhaps being the only Mercedes Benz dealership in Northern NV has something to do with this vast disparity of customer service and really taking care of loyal Mercedes Benz customers.

I have gone to them for service on my E53 AMG 3x. Each time I asked “when do you think it will be done?” Each time they have seriously underestimated the time — not 30 minutes to 60 minutes - but by a time factor of 2 or more. In fact, when I went to have the microphone fixed in the headliner, they kept my car for over 1 week (and didn’t successfully repair the issue).I approached MB USA after the last encounter. MB USA said that “we will have the dealership’s GM call you.” That, unfortunately, never occurred and only confirms what I suspected: senior leadership doesn’t. care about customer service. Maybe they think that they have a monopoly in the area and don’t have to care?In summary.although I think the front line techs try to be responsive and responsible, it’s impossible for them to deliver even average results without the resources and support from higher-ups. My suggestion is to try to find a different dealer for service.

I got an appointment at 10:30 and was told it would take about two hours for the car maintenance to be completed. I waited in the lounge area and ended up waiting four hours before the job was done. However they did offer a loaner car to use for a few hours.They have overbooked appointments knowing they do not have enough workers for timely job completions. NOT HAPPY!

The first available appointment was weeks away. I brought it in on Wed eve and was told it would be ready by Friday. Friday eve they said they hadn’t even looked at it and it would be next week. I told them I would come back and get it Wednesday. I live about 45 minutes away. I showed up Wed night and they hadn’t finished. I had to drive home and then back again on Thursday. The work itself was done well and the person that helped me was nice. I’m just frustrated that I scheduled an appointment so far in the future only to have them take another week to look at it.

I am currently looking to buy a replacement for my 3 year old Porsche SUV. I called their sales department today and spoke with a Marilyn (or something like that) about availability of a few of their AMG models. He was incredibly rude telling me that all of their advertised vehicles on the MBUSA site were accounted for and I should know that as there is a shortage for V8 engines and then he proceeded to hang up on me. If that tone and approach is a refection of this dealers attitude to customers looking to spend $100k+, then Im afraid they are not going to be winning any business from me or anyone of my colleagues looking to to buy a MB.

I was supposed to get my car back in a few hours after some minor service items were performed, however it took them the entire day to complete the work. I understand delays, but what was so frustrating was the fact that they never called to update me. I had to call twice to find out the reason for the delay. Then when I asked for a shuttle ride first thing the next morning (since I was at work and couldn’t leave), I was initially told they couldn’t accommodate me since it was so early. They finally agreed and sent someone to get me. The only reason they get a star at all is because of the friendly shuttle driver, Steve.This experience was not my only negative one. On a separate occasion, I had a question regarding my new vehicle and went to another person in the service department for help. When explaining the information to me, he grew impatient because I was having difficulty understanding the complicated procedure and seemed to think I should have known it already.This department doesn’t seem to value its customers, so I think I’ll be inconveniencing myself by having service performed at another location in California in the future.

Terrible! No loaner. No one returned my phone calls. The part was not ordered for my car until I showed up at the service managers desk after they had my car for 6 days and wouldnt return one phone call. The service manager had to take my paper work from the rep not doing his job and order the part. I will never go to them again.I have a few cosmetic things I want to fix on the car. It wont be with them. Even if its free. I am never using them again. I also drove out of there without the hood being closed on my car or the computer being reset. Every time I get in my car now it says that my car is due for A check up. I went back. The manager says I should push a button every time to wipe the message off the screen. Now I have to go back again to get the service light off. It continually comes back on every time I drive my car.

I am sorry to say that your service department is woeful at best. Phone calls to service department were never answered or responded to. This happened two times. The first was to find out about when the car would be done. This was after they had the car for two days. No call to tell us when the car would be completed. This is our only car. This was very unprofessional. We called our contact in the sales department to go over to the service department but he told us they had left for the day (around 5 pm). We asked him to leave a note for the service department. The next day we anticipated a call in the morning from service agent. No call. We finally connected later on that day and were able to pick up the car. The second incident happened when our car had trouble with the battery. This is a week after we had the car serviced. I called the service department and got no one. Left my phone number. No response. I drove to the dealership and talked to the service guy, same one who handled the earlier service appointment, and explained the problem. He wasnt sure how to handle it and said he would check with the service mechanics to see if they could explain the problem. This is four days later and still no call. This MB is our fourth and this is the 5th dealership we have dealt with. This is by far the worst.

After owning BMWs for the past 4 years, I decided to go with a Mercedes as an upgrade. Super nice vehicle, amazing interior, compared to my 5 series.I had an engine light come on last month. Called to make an appointment on 4/22 and was able to get to scheduled on Wednesday, 5/12. The car seemed to be driving fine, so it wasn’t a big deal waiting 3 weeks.I dropped it off and didn’t hear anything, so called and left a voicemail end of day on 5/13. I didn’t hear back.On 5/14, I called the main number and was able to get on the phone with an advisor. They didn’t have any information from the technician on what was going on with the vehicle or when it might be ready to pick up. I was told that parts were coming from various parts of the country.On 5/19, I called and left a message for an update with the service representative, but was never called back.On 5/20, I was able to get a hold of an advisor. He was able to briefly explain what was going on and that the vehicle should be ready soon.On 5/21, I received a voicemail midday and the advisor was able to tell me the car would be ready towards the end of the day. I didn’t receive a follow up call confirming the vehicle was ready.On 5/22, I called and after 10 minutes on the phone, I was told by the service representative that one of the advisors working that day would call me in 25-30 minutes with an update. No one called with follow-up.On 5/24, I received a voicemail that the vehicle was ready. My wife had to pick it up for me because I was at work. She reported that the advisor I had been working with wasn’t available. One of the newer staff collected the vehicle and signatures. My wife asked what the issues with the vehicle were and was told to check out the paper report she was given. My wife received the vehicle, without a courtesy wash, and drove home.I had assumed that with the fallout from the pandemic (being understaffed and issues with supply chains) that this is why communication and throughput was lacking. My wife did ask the advisor today if they were understaffed and he said “not really.”This is my first experience with the Mercedes of Reno service department. The car seems to be running OK. I have read the paper work/labor report and things were done to the vehicle presumably. Overall, my experience over the preceding 2 weeks stands in stark contrast to my experiences with the service department across the street at BMW.I was just another person with another Mercedes that would be ready when it was ready. My vehicle seemed to be inconvenient.

I booked an appointment weeks in advance to get my car serviced & verified it would take several hours. I explained I live over an hour out of town & I didnt have a ride. When I got there, there wasnt a loaner car to use. The service adviser explained that he was new to the job & wasnt quite sure what to do. No problem. I asked if there was a shuttle or if someone could give me a ride to my husbands place of employment. He said yes. After standing for over two hours & checking in every 15 minutes, another angry customer offered me a ride. Mercedes Benz is now resorting to lazy customer service in hopes that their customers will help each other out. Its as bad as self checkout at Walmart. Was I supposed to go in the service department and complete my cars service too? I wont be buying a car from them ever again & Im looking for another shop to do the service.

I live about two hours away from Mercedes-Benz of Reno. My partner and I scheduled an appointment for a service on our sprinter van at 8:40am on a Friday. We called the night before and tried to change our arrival time to 9:40am to give us a little more time to arrive given that a storm was coming in that day. The receptionist told us that there was no way we could change our time and that we needed to be there at 8:40am or lose our appointment. We arrived at 8:40am and sat there until 2pm watching our sprinter just sit in the parking lot until anyone touched it. Beyond that, upon arrival, our service manager told us when we arrived that they didnt even know if they could finish our maintenance service by Friday afternoon. Yet, they didnt even start working on it until the afternoon? What was the point of making an appointment for 8:40am? At 5pm, when they finished our service, the manager had already left for the day and other employees were scrambling to find out what was even going on with our van, clearly in frustration. The appointment was made one week in advance and I particularly asked about the possibility of getting one of my cracked windows fixed while we were there. We never received any phone call discussing our options and on the morning of arrival, all the guy said was, youre better off doing that somewhere else. I am normally not one to be a complainer. But this kind of service is unnacceptable.

I flew in from Los Angeles to purchase a used 2017 BMW 740i, on a Sunday. I was told the car had no issues, cosmetically, or otherwise. They neglected to tell me that the car had a substantial ding on the rear bumper and the front passenger door, which werent visible in the images posted online. This made me very unhappy. Someone couldve said something, especially knowing that I was flying there. On top of that, it was 96 degrees, and the AC didnt fully work. I wouldve left without buying the car, if I was local, so I accepted a $500 discount for the issues with the AC, but the 8+ hour drive home was very uncomfortable. I feel there was false advertisement in regards to the cosmetic issues, and the flaws bother me more than I thought they would. Now, I have to wait two weeks before Autonation can look at my AC issue. Overall, they were nice, but I feel like there was some deception. Ultimately, I have buyers remorse, and no one wants to feel that about such a big purchase, which should bring you happiness and joy. This is the 3rd luxury vehicle Ive obtained from an Autonation dealer (QX56 in 2013 and Full Size Range Rover in 2019). After this experience, I will avoid Autonation for future vehicles, and I would especially not recommend this particular dealership.

This is the first time I have encountered a bad experience at this dealership. Very unsatisfied with their customer service. I dropped my car off for an appointment on a Friday and heard nothing until the following Tuesday. When I called late Monday I was told that I was given a loaner car so I should not be calling to inquire. I gave instruction not to fix the vehicle so that I could potentially look at new inventory and they fixed it anyway. When I looked at my bank statement they overcharged what my invoice said as well, I am still waiting for a call back regarding the overcharges. I expect better service when purchasing and servicing a luxury vehicle.

Long waiting times on phone to reach service consultant. After leaving voice and text messages, no response back . Courtesy driver was professional. Dealership service quality declined noticeably, with high staff turnover, since takeover by Autonation, a corporate entity known to focus strictly on volume profit, not costumer service. We long for the days of ownership by independent businesses rather than nationwide corporate giants where personalized service takes a backseat to corporate profit margins to enrich senior management.

It was difficult to set an appointment when we experieced issues with our fairly new rv. After setting up appmt for 30 days later, we drove 5 hours to reno to get rv inspected/repaired. We thank the manager for intervening. We were told to arrive at 8am and they would put in bay to check the sensors. Instead they parked it in a lot, so we had to find hotel accommodations. We were concerned with all food in refrigerator so again manager helped expedite the job. Sensor fixed and we are back on the road 2 days later. The agency is small but staff was very nice.

My experience working with Dave Rowe at Mercedes-Benz of Reno was awesome. He was very professional, friendly and informative. He did not talk down to me, just because Im female. He really took the time to explain every button of the car and more involved components of the vehicle as well, so I felt very confident in my purchase. Whenever I have had to go to dealer, I wanted waterproof floor mats, my salesman went to parts with me to get them and then he installed them for me. He has called me to see if I had anymore questions about the car. Everyone there is extremely helpful and nice.On a car note, we had our first big snowstorm and I had to go out, what a dream to drive in a storm. It handled really well. Love the car!!

My 2-month-old leased GLE 450 suffered a major electrical malfunction that rendered the horn, steering wheel controls and center controls inoperative as well as the front touchscreens unresponsive. I went directly to Mercedes service to see if it was a quick fix (computer reboot, etc). It wasn’t. It took three days just to diagnose the issue, and another 2 full weeks to effect the repair. This is unacceptable for a brand new vehicle. While I understand that mechanics and employees are in short supply, I had to call the dealership multiple times to ask for an update on my GLE. Please note that I called when I was told the vehicle would be ready, yet no notification from the dealership service department. On almost every call I made, I would be told that my service coordinator was busy and would return my call in 10-15 mins. I would wait an hour or two and then have to call back, again. This is strange behavior from a supposed luxury brand service department. While I don’t fault the service department for the vehicle malfunction itself, the 2.5 week delay (during which time my lease payment had to be paid, of course), is a ridiculously long time to wait for a repair on a brand-new vehicle. I ended up having to call the GM, who jumped into action, had a reply for me and I got my GLE back when he said it would be back. For this, I give 3 stars. The 2-star deduction is for the situation within the service department itself.

They fixed my sons sunroof on his Mercedes C-230 and when we picked it up they let us know about a few issues the car has that we were not aware of. I had an appt for service 4 months ago but when I arrived at the dealership the service rep stated there was no appt for me on the computer. Yesterday I had an appt for a manufacturer’s recall, I received a reminder the day before by e-mail. But when I arrived at the dealer the same service rep stated I had no appt. Fortunately I still had the e-mail to show the appt so he worked me in. When the car was ready I was told to sign papers and the service rep then turned away toward the computer, never explaining what the techs had done to the car. It was made clear that I was not welcome there. I assume the repairs were done correctly but I am not qualified to judge that

We drive from Bishop, 3 hours, our service person was pleasant and helpful. He told us things were busy and running behind. We told him if they needed to keep the van overnight, we would drive home and pick it up for n a day or two. He said no it would be ready between 3-4, we again offered to come back another time rather than rush them and wait the 6-7 hours. We called at three and were told he was busy and would call back, we never heard back. We went to the location at 4:00. The other service advisor said they had not touched the vehicle. Our advisor came out and initially said he called at 1:30, he then recanted his statement. He told us the van would not be ready until the following day. We waited 7 hours to find out what we had offered early that morning. Then they charged us for small things that should have been part of warranty. We love our van, bummer about the service experiance.

I returned my Lease earlier today. I was having electrical issues with my car/battery and told them this over the phone prior to arriving. On arriving, I went in and was helped by a gentleman who made it clear he didn’t want to help me. Complained the car wasn’t turning on, that he had to boost it, he had to check the odometer, and obviously did not want to do his job.This isn’t the experience I’d expect from a Luxury dealership and Mercedes has lost a customer in me.

As usual everything went well. Mark arranged for a loaner so we could return home while waiting for the parts to arrive. Only 2 days and the parts where there and installed to fix the blind spot indicator. Both sensors needed replacement and the system now works fine. Too bad the cars warranty had expired. Electronic repairs are not cheap!! All in all another good experience.

Went in for a complimentary birthday check up and wash. Was told it would take 1 hour. At about 1 hour and 15 minutes I checked on the car and was told they were finishing up. At the 2 hour mark I check on the car again and was told it’s waiting for a wash, the only thing I was there for. Ended up taking 3-3.5 hours to wash a car. Missed my other appointment. Every time I bring my car in I have a similar experience. People here are terrible and do not care.

Everything went fine! There were three recalls on our vehicle and all were taken care of in one visit. Since we are from out of the Reno area, they had a loaner for us while the work was being done. No one ever likes recalls, but they were taken care of as well as possible.

We returned drove the car, and then set down to negotiate the price- the salesman said, “we don’t negotiate, at all.”Don’t go here. I wouldnt take your vehicle here for service. We had a simple oil change turn into having to drain over a quart of oil on the side of the road because they filled it quarts above the maximum fill line and they filled it with the wrong oil. On top of that our appointment for an oil change on a Wednesday took until Friday. When we told them the issues they said that it wasnt a big deal to have oil past the maximum line (even the owners manual tells you to address immediately if that happens) and that they oil type was a typo on the receipt. They informed us that everyone makes mistakes and there was no offer to make things right, change the oil to the right type or any sort of accountability on their end. AVOID THIS PLACE .

I purchased my Vehicle at Auto Nation Roseville with on Oil Change Package. Then I moved and the closest Auto Nation is in Reno. Mercedes Reno is an Auto Nation Dealer. I make an appointment very nice and easy. I try to make my appointment early so I can get in and out quick. Unfortunately they have not figured out how to be quick.The Service Dept. called the night before to make sure I was coming so he could get the parts ordered. Yet I waited two hours and they wanted me to wait another 30 minutes for a Comp. Car Wash. No thank you!I have other things I need to do today. I have one more Oil comp maybe they can get 1 in 7 done quickly.
