Called Diamond to schedule an appointment for an estimate to repaintmy entire truck, the sun is making my clear coat peel. The girl who answered the phone, told me they dont do entire vehicles. Diamond auto bodyI would not recommend this shop unless you are willing to pay triple over other shops.I had 3 different estimates done at 3 different shops in Reno. The 3 estimates were to have a new Cowl hood painted and faded into the front fenders to match, and Silver Dollar size dent in the passenger door repaired on my 3500 Ram.The first 2 estimates covered just that at a cost of $1800-$2500. Diamond auto body gave me a quote of $3200. (This is out of pocket not Insurance)I decided to go with Diamond Auto body because I didn’t want a cheep paint job done on my truck.Day 1 they had it, I get a call that they recommend replacing the molding and Ram plate on the door they’re fixing at $250 more (I agreed). Day 2, Travis calls and tells me they will need to prep the 2 front fenders and paint to fade at an additional cost of $1050 putting the total at $4500 and some change.I couldn’t believe it! They had given me a quote for a partial job, waited to get the truck there and Started the add on’s.I declined the paint and fade on the hood, and because they already started the repairs on the door I had to let them finish or ida had a half repaired door.When I went in to pay and retrieve my truck, they charged me ((($2068 for just the Silver Dollar size dent repair on the door))). You can still see the ripple in the door.They were going to get as much of the initial quote money out of me they could...Needless to say, I feel they lied about the cost to get me there and started to cheat me out of (Out Of Pocket) experiences once they started the work.Again, Would Not Recommend unless you have money to throw away

My 2020 Lexus SUV was only 3 weeks old when an 18 wheeler was spraying small rocks from his trailers onto my new SUV. I had pretty substantial damage to the front, side and hood of the vehicle including the bra. I called Dolan Lexus and had them recommend two places. I chose Diamond Auto Body and was so happy I did. I called and was given an appointment right away and it would take a while being it was right near Christmas which I figured. Travis kept me informed all the way through the whole process. “Thank you Travis. Your a doll for calling when you said you would and keeping your word on everything. Your Terrific.” My SUV was not only done on time but ahead of schedule and looks brand new as if nothing ever happened to it. I am recommending Diamond Auto to anyone who needs bodywork done (and also on their cars too).

I can’t say enough about these guys, they did an amazing job fixing my 2018 Expedition. They’ve also done work on our 2015 Mustang GT. Stephanie in the office is wonderful, she’s very professional and kind. I worked with Travis when my Expedition was being repaired. The work is phenomenal and I couldn’t be happier. Diamond is great. My car had deep keyed scratches on both passenger and driver doors. My car now looks like new. They were very courteous and kept me informed as to their progress. They even had detailed repairs approved by Audi. I was very impressed with their service and would definitely recommend them.

Based on my experience I just had with them today, I will never go anywhere else. My passenger door was dented in and the door wouldnt open. Ive been putting off getting it repaired for months because I was dreading how expensive it would be. I wish I would have brought it here months ago. It is a great thing to have Diamond Auto Body in Reno! Brent and his staff have always done an excellent job on repairs... over the years they have repaired my truck, renewed my sedan after hitting a deer, and recently my SUV after a driver slid into me. They have a friendly environment and made it so easy. They took care of all the details and also provided excellent communication by checking in every couple days. They work well with insurance companies. The end product has always exceeded expectations and is perfect. It is nice to have this level of shop that Is consistent every time and can be relied on!

Diamond Auto Body staffs are really nice and friendly. My TOYOTA CAMRY 2015 was rear-ended and I was recommended this place by TOYATA and Im glad they did. The staffs here want the best for you, Mike would spend 10-15 minutes with me explaining whats going on with my car and how theyll be looking to work on it. He and his team would also spend another 10-15 minutes explaining to me the process of going through the insurance. Their customer service is amazing and very easy to reach by phone. I am excited to finally bring my car in next week and get it fixed!

I went to Diamond this morning to have a minor scratch repaired, and I was in and out in a little over an hour. I was told that there would probably be some evidence of the scratch remaining since they were only going to sand and polish it, but when I got it back from them it was completely gone! They did an outstanding job, worked quickly, and had a fair price on the estimate that ended up being the actual price I paid. I hope that I wont need to come back again, but if I need any more body work I will absolutely come back to Diamond, and recommend that others do the same!

I am very glad I followed that mechanics recommendation. From the beginning to the end, Mike made everything very transparent regarding the work performed on my car and kept me in the loop the whole time. Before I even dropped my vehicle off, Diamond went above and beyond advising me and helping me retain to a tow truck. My daughter brought her car on Friday to get an estimate to repair the bumper and side mirror. She was told by the body shop that they will email her the estimate. Its been 5 days and still no email from the body shop. Prior to this, she was at another body shop and was able to get an estimate there and then. Not sure why this body shop wouldnt be able to provide an estimate there and then. It wasnt like a major repair, just a broken side mirror and a crack on the right side bumper. They must be doing well and dont need our business. Anyway, my daughter was able to bring it to the first body shop she went to and they took care of it.

Diamond Auto Body (and specifically Mike) was very helpful with our recent insurance claim and process for hail damage. Our insurance company totally gave us the run-around with different adjusters/agents and made it especially difficult for us. Mike went out of his way to help us contact our insurance company and make sure we werent being taken advantage of.

This was my 2nd dealing with this business. Both were 5 star experiences, whether over the phone or in the office. Sometimes parking is a bit of an issue but these people are the best regardless. Diamond Auto Body fixed the front of my 2012 Audi TT-RS. They were very fast in assessing the damage and immediately kept me up to date on repair status. They used only genuine Audi parts for my car, which let me know they have the highest quality standards. The only delay involved was waiting for a couple new parts to arrive all the way from Germany. No junk yard parts in my car. The owner, Brent, constantly kept me informed of the status via email, text, and phone and I always felt comfortable that my car was in good hands.

My 2017 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro was hit in a Walmart parking lot. With less than 9,000 miles on it, the Right Rear Door was caved in and the Rear Bumper Skin was torn-off and crumpled, I was really bummed.I had a past experience with Concours Body Shop that was pretty good, I knew the Owner, Gil. Turns out Gil sold the Operation, that didnt set well with me, things change when ownership changes. I hear the Ads for Jackson & Farmer on the Radio all the time, I like their message, I called and spoke with Jim Jackson the Owner, the conversation went well.Not feeling convinced or in the know as to where to take my Beauty, I googled around for reviews. Diamond Auto Body kept coming up strong. I called. Stephanie answered the phone, we got into a good conversation and pleasantly, she got right down-to-business. Among her questions was, Who is your vehicle Insured with? Apparently, it makes a difference. She began to educate me about how most Insurance Companies mandate that Body Shops obtain Used and non-OEM parts for repairs and replacements. Stephanie also had me speak with Mike the Operations Manager.Mike explained to me that, for example, the Rear Bumper Skin has a multitude of attachment clips and loops that are molded monolithically with the skin and that the used, refurbished Bumper Skins have the sheared off clips and loops glued back into place. He explained that the glued in place clips and loops are not as strong as those on the monolithically molded new OEM Bumper Skins and that they are often misaligned. I thought about this. A) they are glued in place, B) they may be misaligned so not only are they weaker, the misalignment not only contributes to a less than smooth seam/fit, the misalignment puts significantly more stress on the glued clips and loops which are already weaker. The finished job may look good when you pick the vehicle up but over time, road vibration, expansion/contraction from temperature swings, sitting in the sun, freezing in the cold, those glued-on clips and loops give way and what started out looking good begins to deteriorate.Mike further explained to me that my Insurance Company, State Farm, not only mandates the use of used parts, in my case the Bumper Skin and Right Rear Door Skin, they can be somewhat (my word) stingy with regard to any supplemental needed parts and procedures that evidence themselves as necessary after the initial estimate of repairs. He suggested that before we begin the process of repairing my vehicle that I speak with my Insurance Agent and address the items that Diamond had experienced as catch points after-the-fact on their recent experiences with State Farm. I did so and everything worked out, BTW, my State Farm Agent is Billy Codman, he was very good to work with.Mike also explained to me that I could opt to pay the cost-difference in Used vs. New parts and that would be outside, above and beyond my $500.00 deductible. I asked him how much money that might amount to, he said, not much, maybe $40.00 to $50.00 per part, I had two parts in play, that meant $80.00 - $100.00 above and beyond my $500.00 deductible.I decided to go forward with Diamond. It turned out that Stephanie lives about 5 miles from me and offered to pick my vehicle up at my house and drive it in and catch a ride home after work with a co-worker. They had my vehicle for a little over a week, when it was done Stephanie picked me up in the morning on her way to work so I could retrieve my vehicle easily, without having to arrange a ride with someone else.My TRD Pro 4Runner looked great! They washed the vehicle inside and out, they also vacuumed the interior.Then the Bill- $520.00. My $500.00 deductible + $20.00 upcharge for 100% new OEM Door & Rear Bumper skins.I cannot be happier with the experience, short of the Hit & Run happening in the first place.I would not expend the time to write this review if I did not feel that Diamond Auto Body earned it; thank you Stephanie and Mike.

My car was repaired at this shop after the repair I noticed the tail light seemed a little insecure and there was still a big scuff mark on tha rear qtr panel that needed to b buffed out. The staff was friendly and informative but I wouldve like to see a better quality job dun especially on such a higher class car such as my Cadillac cts V

Excellent, rock solid 5 star. I had very high expectations for Diamond Auto Body based on all the online research I did. Diamond found ways to exceed my high expectations. My 2016 Ford F350 had extensive damage, 23k worth, and being nearly new I was having anxiety over it being restored to new condition. Diamond did it, there is zero indication my truck had been in an accident. Anxiety resolved, my truck is perfect. My opinion, taking a vehicle anywhere else for auto body repair would be a mistake.

Contacted the company about an estimate to repair ADDITIONAL damage to my vehicle that was caused by the negligence of a different shop not a previously repaired piece. Was told that their insurance would not cover them giving me an estimate. What a shame as they come highly recommended by many of my colleagues. What a let down. quick update. Have contacted every other shop in town and this is the only one that refuses to provide an estimate. Guess my money isnt green enough for them.

Pure stubbornness on my part, hoping the damage was a quick fix and wouldnt need the rental car.They got back to me and the insurance company the next day with a quote and an estimated 10 days. With the interruption of the Thanksgiving, I got my car back in 9 work days. It was ready in 7 work days, but I live about 350 miles from Reno. They also didnt raise the price when they needed to order more parts for my suspension.Overall one of the experiences with a body shop ever. Thank you!

Bad customer service and i was told they dont care if they get my.business they have enough. I called my Allstate agent and asked for a recommendation they laughed and said Diamond is a very questionable shop and were not surprised that they were rude. Family owned and the entire family is rude!Stay away

The BEST auto body in town and not just for great auto body work but the staff is helpful and compassionate. They make the huge headache of an auto accident MUCH better.

Was turned away immediately just to have someone look at my truck to give me basic estimates/time elapse. Couldn’t be given a quote without an appointment, they couldn’t even spare 1 minute to look at my truck to tell me if they could even do what I wanted. And no where on there website does it say they only do quotes by appointment. Hard to believe they are the “number 1” repair shop in Reno.
