Great place very friendly service and reasonable Meats

Customer service was great. Meat was delicious... Was expecting a lot more marbling in my steak, but they tasted fine!

I’ve been a customer of Chartley Country Store for 27 years now and sadly it seems that’s coming to an end. The behavior shown by the owner on social media in the recent months, being combative when criticism by customers is shown, is extremely off putting. They boast of a deep clean but it seems as though they’ve wiped away everything that made that store unique and replaced it with corporate greed. Prices have gone up and quality has diminished. The consistency in their store made products is no where to be found the fun salt changes every time I’ve purchased it. I’ve seen very few familiar faces there which worries me as it no longer has the homey feel us regulars have grown to love.

I’ve been a Charley’s customer for 35 years and I’m sad to say it simply isn’t what it used to be. Bought marinated sirloin tips today that we couldn’t even chew. You’ve definitely lost a customer!

I just had the worst Roast beef sandwi h ever. The mest was dry and fattyIt felt like I was eating shoe leather.Pitty, as they used to do a better job on their sandwiches.

Deli crew was not that friendly but they did their job. The cashier was very helpful and sweet. Meat and chicken are very good. Social distance respected.

ATM said $2, however I was charged a $3 service fee...seems shady.And P.S. All of those homemade signs on your storefront look ghetto!

With this new normal you might have to wait in line to get in. But they sanitize everyones hands before going in! They are completely stocked and have the freshest meat!! Their meat tastes so much better than from the grocery store!! The people there are awesome too!! I highly recommend Chartley in Rehoboth!!!

I only gave it 3 stars even though I love the place because I think they could have more inventory. Fill the shelves up a bit more and give us customers more choice. The meat counter however is awesome with some great selection of products. Love the Chartleys burgers.

Great meat, always friendly staff with a small town feel. The meat here blows away any grocery store and has many options. Also there are many homemade stuffed chicken breast, marinated chicken, marinated steak, stuffed pork chops and other food that is prepped that is just delicious. Highly recommend and you probably wont want to buy meat anywhere besides a meat market after.

Love Chartleys. Their meat dept is fantastic! They also have prepared foods cooked in peanut oil. Grab some of their chicken tenders and potato logs - you will not be disappointed.

They were very helpful and quickly handled my order. The quality was awesome. I will definitely be going back often.

I dont know where to start with this store.when you enter store all you can smell is fried chicken.then you walk in and there is a huge deli where they sell lunch meats and fresh sandwiches.then there is the meat counter.all the meats are laid out just like it should be.i feel like I went back in time when things were simple.every thing is fresh and wholesome.i love this store.

Just bought chicken this morning for tonights supper, Opened the bag and it was bad! Called to let them know and that I wouldnt make it there in time before they closed and my reply was Well keep that in mind... Wth? Guess their customer service left for the day! Guess Ill be keeping that in mind!. Wont be going back! Market Basket will get my business for meats now. Thanks!

I like to go for Fresh Meats & occasionally a Meat PKG. & Hot Cooked Foods - (Fried Potato Wedges, Assorted Chicken Pieces, Mac & Cheese, etc.)- Great for Lunches! Call Ahead for Meat Pkgs.- They are known for them & all of the above.

They have the bell you can ring, they have a smile every time, or Ill tellem a joke, then i get a giggle. Ttheir straight up, best fried chicken n tater logs around.

My daughter went for a job interview or what was supposed to be a job interview and the hiring manager Grant said that she was late. She got there at 345 for a 4 pm appointment. After she said the day before on the phone that she could not get there for 330 is 4 ok. He said yes on the phone 4 would be fine and I will see you then. That is when he claimed that the position was filled. By the way he said all this in the middle of the store near the register with a loud tone in front of customers. If you can treat a potential employee like that I wonder how he treats the people who work there. Then again that might be why they are always hiring. I was a regular customer but I will no longer spend my hard earned money on a place that treats people like that. I will be contacting a lawyer as I beleive that this was discrimination.
