What more could you want? Candy, huge CVS, cigarettes, and groceries! Get it all done right here. Right now. Stop acting crazy. Wear sunscreen.
Sequoia station has a safe way, cvs, old navy, and a few other places. It is your basic strip mall type shopping center. It is kind of attached to the Caltrain station, so its a good transportation help. The redwood City Transit center is a part of Sequoia station here go return station. Its very convenient, pleasant, and efficient.
Love it there especially Noahs NY Bagels 🤤
We went to Borders Books, which has excellent books and European art calendars which my wife buys every year. The only problem is the people who entered the items to be delivered to the store got the wrong items and other orders were no filled at all. Sloppy.
Well I was just about to walk off to go get something to eat at Subways when I noticed a few people with yellow t-shirts on named downtown street team I didnt know that Redwood City had one and theyve been there for 2 years when I asked the lady that was I saw her so she told me about the time and the day that they start their meetings so I guess Ill go back and check them out again that was a good thing and the other thing I bought me a sandwich at subways and I enjoyed that as well done with that being said my day was okay I cant complain thank you
Packed with shoppers, too large to walk. Thank you to a friend who drove to our end store to pick us up. Good stores there.
I go here only for my meds. Have seen many homeless people. I have seen people urinate outside on the building. People panhandling in the parking lot.
Its seen better days, I did go to Sequoia High in early 80s so I remember when it was new. Not to sound mean but they need to clean it up too many homeless people hanging around. We went to eat and sitting outside wasnt comfortable because of it. I felt bad for the shops. But there still are good places to go to, so I deal with it
Good shops in there. However there is a serious problem with homeless people and it feels dirty
Meh. I only come here for Safeway and Barnes & Noble. I look forward to the new development where they transform the whole place.
Nice transit center, busses and Caltrain convenient to shopping and entertainment .
Great shopping mall for the family friendly environment.
We had good parking spot and indoor seating. Customer service was good!
Sequoia station before Covid is generally crowded, lacking parking and out of date. It has a nice collection of businesses though. Restaurants, pet store, book store, phones, groceries, few more random. Its near Caltrain. Right now, there are less people and more parkingI know the are plans in the work to update the area.
Poorly designed, with no clear way for pedestrians to safely navigate the huge parking lot. Often pretty dirty too.
Great plaza with a little bit of everything. Try the bagels from Noahs Bagels!
Convenient shopping center Very popular. Barnes and Noble, Sees and Safeway are my favorites.
Just check the place to see where cal train station is. A nice little shopping center. Did not try any of the stores. Did ask in CVS about the vaccine. They had the Johnson and Johnson available
Verizon, needed to replace card holder for phone. Once again your Best Ever Employee was there: the one and Only Miss Briana C. Shes a 💎. Shes sweet, and very helpful. Again store Covid Appropriate. (Rwc location)
I love Sequoia station its near my house and it has everything I need
Good store. Lots of variety for an in the go eat.
The cal train horn blaring from 4 am till 2 am thats 27 hours wow! Bring your own Alcohol🍸🍷🍾
Great place very busy lots to see and great places to eat and shop .
This place could be so much nicer - so much potential, so many good stores and such a large hub but sometimes it’s scary to walk around there (night and day)
Deli department staff is super kind and generous. Chicken is so delicious. Morning cheese bagel also very fresh and is well made.
Didnt win the lotto at the lotto retailer there... sighh
Busy in the morning... and evening...not much during the day... the late night train really likes to blow the horn though!
Typical strip mall. Nothing unique about it. Not a ton of parking by the popular stores. Some of the more established stores havent seen a remodel in at least a decade. Decent place to go get a haircut and some groceries.
Wanted Jamba Juice too hard for them to make sorry
Nice place with lots of restaurants and grocery stores
I get all my scripts at the CVS there.Always a good experience.
Often known as, Super Safeway! It has everything! Its my go to store! For me, the Wells Fargo inside the Safeway has been convenient. I like, one stop shopping. And Always Earning Rewards for discounts at the pump!
Its not exactly a destination, more a place of convenience for catching the Caltrain.
There are plans to remake Sequoia Station. I like it the way it is. Never know though.
Went for a haircut at Supercuts. Veronica did a fabulous job. I have thick hair and she really helped me out with some knots that had taken over, without having to cut it too short.
Lots of parking . Has just about everything unlike Whole Foods or Costco. Safeway is Everyman’s store.
Went to my favorite store Barnes and Nobles and I stop by Safeway
Cellular service is almost nonexistent in Sequoia Station in my experience using Verizon, AAT and Sprint. You can hop on Starbucks’ inside their store. CVS is often out of stock on staples like bandaids. I have discovered that CVS on broadway is well stocked. It looks like a war zone over there with the development, but the CVS is larger and well stocked.
Multiple stores and hair places! I went to get my hair cut and ynder$24 cant be bad!
Strip mall at the Cal Train station. Lots of homeless, and lots of chain stores.
This is an upscale train depot with various restaurants and limited shopping. Very impressive 👏
Shopped at Safeway. Love this stores location
Very good multiple stores... Not bad
Sees candy, Safeway, burritos 🌯, a drink 🍸 to wash it all down.
This is a very good place very happy place.
Am literally here every week been coming since middle school days especially coz am from RWC 😎
I love this Safeway! Cashier Brian is so polite and helpful, the deli workers are nice, and the produce employees are very nice too!! Oh yes, I mustnt leave out customer service, they rock too!! 👍🏾🙂
Went. to Safeway at Sequoia Station and bought cat food, some vegetables and milk, I do not like that store much, it is dirty and not organized very well.
Will sledge. CeoOwner
Busy busy busy. 5 main stores for me here. CVS, Safeway, Panda Express, and Sees Candy. This plaza is ALWAYS busy and easy to get in and out.
A good, convenient complex to cover all the household needs in one place
Good parking lot to eat your lunch in.
Fine usually during the day. A little sketchy safety-wise after dusk unless RCPD are there. I feel bad for the retail tenants since they are at the mercy of the high school students around lunch.
Train station in the back, shopping in front. Plenty of parking and security on duty regularly.
Parking can be a hassle trying to find a spot. County lockdown and limited access to stores means standing in line wasting time. Order on line and pick up is the best way to go.
Changed it looks so much better over the years since i was there.
Ok, minus the hot weather
It is very varied, but the internet is terrible, today I went to buy from CVS and my cell phone signal was lost, the same thing happened when I went to Panda.
To Dirty and Nasty at this Station, Power Wash All people and everthing else!
Lots of variety..sushi Asian Market
Everything is always good in there except I dont understand why the other doors are always locked I would think that would be a fire hazard actually
Would be nice if these stations would have public restrooms
Pretty nice shopping center. Theres a good selection of stores and eateries. The ambience is quite good as well
Good selection of stores and restaurants in the area.
All i need my favorite place fresh vegetables and fruits
To many beggars and absolutely no security
So many druggies they alone take off two stars
It was fun we had lunchtime
They have a bookstore (remember them?).
Its a great little outside shopping mall, consisting of multiple businesses catering to great many of everyones needs. My favorite of course: All of them! From Safeway, to CVS and Starbucks; to Old Navy and my Hamburger place, Noahs Bagels and great many other little existing stores like Subways, cigarettes cheaper and Super cuts....Conveniently located right next to the Caltrains Redwood City stop.Been utilizing this stop for years, and taking advantage of the presence of grocery and convenient stores etc.At times perhaps not quite as clean as it could be, but large traffic travelled through here from all walks of life of the known and unknown kind.It is a necessary existence, I would have to say, this Redwood City Caltrain Stop!A major one, merging necessities for business and home more often then recreational pleasure! And there is a parking garage underground available, with appropriate and capable security.RWCPD patrolling, and they are not to far away if needed! Ashighly trafficed areas, such this one, need constant supervision.I totally need and enjoy this stop! 4 🌟 rating!
This strip mall sucks, always dirty. The only bright spot in Franklin Street Cafe, wonderful place gr8 food.
Is a great place to shop for groceries, or lunch coffee etc, plus train station there, perfect!!
100% excellent
The workers behind the bakery counter were exceptionally rude to me. I stood there, waiting for several minutes to be helped while they joked and laughed among themselves. They ignored me for several minutes to tend to other things like stocking, joking, whispering and laughing among themselves, and wouldn’t even look at me. I was the only customer at the bakery counter. When the woman finally turned to me, all she said is, “What?”. Clearly I was an imposition to her. She said nothing else to me and never asked me if I needed anything else or said thank you.
Crowded and over priced
Good community feel. Diverse clientele. Recently renovated their parking lot and the local Safeway just finished the Starbucks kiosk. This particular store has more and more specialty foods, like dairy free cheeses, vegan mayo, a huge fresh produce section, and many dairy free milks (including walnut milk). Its worth checking out.
This was a very nice shopping mall in Redwood City California. We were in Northern California in Silicon Valley and we stopped there for a few items. We had plans to eat at a restaurant there called Maxs but it was closed. They had many many shops with the very nice fairly high-end merchandis with a few places to eat as well . It was a pleasant looking Shopping Center and it was one I would return to. The parking lot was extremely clean. I would recommend checking it out if youre up in Redwood City.
Good place to shop for everything you need. Just avoid shopping at night, if possible.
I am preferably going to small Safeway on Woodside Rd bec it is small than Sequoia Safeway. I love to buy some food and Almond with vanilla flavor milk. Also I grew up and went to Safeway in different cities all my life.
It was cool!
Safeway is a good grocery chain. I experienced some culture shock as I am not from California. On the East coast they bag your items for you. The cashier asked me if I was going to bag my stuff. I was actually physically shaken by the question. Im physically impaired and often move at a bit of a slow pace but this guy made me feel unwelcome. Otherwise, great selection
There’s such a wide variety of choices when you’re shopping at Safeway
Been going here for yrs. Glad most stores are familiar and easy to order from.
Its a very welcome change to enter a grocery store and seeing its NOT a giant box store. Its an average sized building (based on the size most neighborhood grocery stores usually are). So it wont be necessary to bring your track shoes or get lost for a 3 hour period, simply for 1 or 2 items. They have everything you should need, and a few you dont, in stock
Chill but dont set your bags on the ground at night or the cochroaches will crawl in your stuff.. i wish I was lying
I love this place been going there for years
Good stores, the hours are better then most of the others in the area . When my family needs something in a pinch this is the center we go to yes the traffic here is alittle much.
Great place to shop
Too many homeless people sitting outside the store entrance is begging for food and money.
Has everything you need to shop for with plenty of parking.
Parking Crazy and most businesses do not accept Apple Pay. Parking lot flow is completely backwards and no way out if you get caught in it not being familiar with the area. No signage..very confusing. Dumpsters also in main parking area with no signage.
I loved coming here when I was a adolescent. They have their stores and restaurants. If you are looking for a quick bagel and coffee before commuting, this is your spot. The Station is close to the Movie Theater, the Square, the library, City Hall, all places where you will get to know Redwood City. Please be respectful to other people. Everyone of all ways of life deserves to shop and stay in the Sequoia Station.
Too much traffic. Parking can be an issue. Theres always people loitering around. I only go here when I absolutely need to.
One stop shop for groceries, drug store and Starbucks.
Normal experience good staff!
WAY WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE, AVOIDING COVID-19 THEN YOU DONT WANT TO GO HERE !!
Not to busy. Most things closed at the time of night I went to the shopping center.
