I like the wide selection and quality products one can find here.People running the store are often helpful and friendly but I also had some rare unfriendly cashiers leaving me with an unpleasant aftertaste!

This is the best grocery store in the area. Its a bit more expensive but the products are good quality. Great wine selection and fresh produce. Also, for Covid, if you go after 9 pm, its usually pretty empty.

Very complete stock. Everything you need including 10 kinds of bird seed. A bit pricey but if you shop the specials, youll do fine. Plenty of self checkout. Good choice of ready-eat-items but not cheap.

Great store if you live in redwood shores and lazy enough to drive to Safeway. Prices are ok. They have great fresh bread selection.One star goes away because of dirty outside dining area. Really dirty with rats in the trash can.

The selection here is pretty nice as long as you arrive by 3 p.m.. The problem is that they run out of many items before most people would get off of work. I spoke to the manager and her reaction was yeah, most of the ... is gone by 3:00. She didnt find this strange at all.

Very nice Asian section. They stock Angelo Pietro Salad dressings and Yamasa soy sauces. These are 2 of my go to sauces for cooking. Great produce department with plenty of selection. Plenty of parking. Very nice and friendly staff.

Very clean and well organized store. I especially like the Raleys canned salsa, it is very good and a great value.

Good to buy daily food raw material

A few months back I found a hair in a premade plastic enclosed salad. Ok they replaced it and apologized. No more pre packaged food from there for me. This time the sandwich counter: Twice the bread has been stale. Cant the maker tell the bread is hard? Then in the middle of taking my order the young woman turns and walks away. Returns with a couple of spatulas, I start to re-give my order and she starts to talk over me. I state we cant communicate if were talking at the same time. This is all after she saw me standing (the only customer at the deli section) at the counter over several minutes until I had to call her over. Skipping Nob Hill for my lunches from now on.

I live right next to the Safeway in Foster City and I go out of my way to come here. Its much less crowded, cleaner than Safeway, and has fresher produce and meat. Prices are all very reasonable too!My favorite thing about this store: They have a great selection of apples, last time I picked up some Rome Apples for baking and Opal Apples for snacking on. Theyre also the only store I know that sells my favorite ice cream 😋

I like the place now better than eight years ago. When I just moved into the area, I came here and did not like the selections. I probably came here less than 10 times in the first 3 years. I got most of my grocery from Whole Food. Then it is kinda far. I started to come here for milk, egg and breads once a week. I started to notice the prices are more competitive and selections are increasing. That is great for me. I dont have to drive all the way to san mateo for my grocery.I still dont buy stuff here when they are not on sale unless I really need them. They could be pricey. However, when they are on sale, prices are excellent. They got good choices of cheeses. I love fairlife milk here. I can get two bottles for $6 when they run the promotion. This is new. Their promotion price used to be $4.99 per bottle. I wish I have a bigger fridge to buy more when they offer that new lower price. I also like the alro cream cheese spread they sell here.

This place is great. Great staff that are always knowledgeable and helpful. Wait times are the normally short to check out and they typically always have everything in stock (prior to Covid) but its understandable during these times to be out of items. Sometimes they can be a tad pricey but honestly, for the convenience and ease of shopping there I can overlook the increase in costs for items. 5 stars all day for this place!

I was beyond impressed with the selection and quality of products offered at Nob Hill, especially their prepared foods! It’s the perfect place to go if you want something quick and easy for lunch. They even have a cafe seating area.Prices are on par with Safeway and Whole Foods - though I wish they had better sales here.I will definitely be back!

25 cents for a small plastic bag!? If this company owned a Home Depot in Florida during a hurricane they would charge $500 for 2X4 I just know it. SMH

Standard grocery store during Covid. They do carry a few items I dont see else where, but are a little more spendy then a typical Lucky (...and cleaner).

Excellent place to shop. Produce is fresh, meat counter is very good. Unexpectedly, their store brands hold up extremely well in comparison to brand names, in particular, their cheese. Alcohol selection is very good. Deli is a bit expensive.

I am a Safeway fan, but now that I discovered Nob Hill, Safeway has a run for its money. The store was well kept, I was able to find alot on my own and what I could not find the staff was very helpful. I will drive a little for a better experience.

Always able to find the things Im looking for, just wish they didnt move things around quite as much as they do, I understand the reason behind it. Produce fresh Everything clean, deli yummy.,nice people helpful also.

There is nothing like great customer service, a safe environment, PLUS supporting local neighbors!! My family moved here 3 years ago....this is by far the #1 location for the above options. Also a variety of items and selections from floral, etc. Thank you, NOB HILL @ Redwood Shores for staying open and safe!

Nice to find rare items when needed but regular items are a bit more pricy here at Nob Hill. The location in Redwood Shores is convenient and is open later then most. Great place if you need items in a pinch.

Its a standard store but has some upscale food products. Prices are steep for some things but I can always pass those up. Service throughout the store is amazing!

Quite possibly the most depressing breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. Also the entire experience had me question how customer service has gotten so bad.

I love the little bar, stop by it when I can coming from work in the city back home in Milpitas.

Clean and inviting. Prices are a little above Safeway but it worth it.

They have some nice holiday gifts and very good selection of boxed teas.

The produce is terrible, i bought a bag of onions. Opened it two days later (I keep onions in the fridge btw) and nearly all the onions were rotten on the inside. Will not be going again.

Love this store all the employees are helpful and nice. Fruit and produce is always good and reasonable prices. The meat department is good too and sometimes they have deals you cant pass up. Ive ordered cakes from the bakery and thwy are by far the best!

One of the best places in Redwood Shores, they have a good collection of fresh produce, dairy and poultry including organic. The staff is very helpful and customer friendly. It’s surely more pricey than the Safeway at Ralston but you pay for the convenience of having a nearby supermarket.

Great selection of products, some that I have not seen at other supermarkets. For Keto diet followers, they have an extensive selection of Keto ice cream brands. (Largest Ive seen of any supermarket Ive visited so far)

A quality super market. I love how everything is arranged in the store. Its very pleasant and offers good quality groceries, wine, cheese, food bar. I also love the little bar they have. With Pharmacy in the store, I only need a 8 minutes drive to get everything I need.

Regular neighborhood market. Pricy compared to Safeway but overall good, clean, self-checkout.

Using the Pandemic to rob and inconvenience your customers is no excuse. Too bad for you I will never set foot in your store ever again. I needed to go to the pharmacy and Wells Fargo I am handicapped and was not able to walk to far doors and walk back to where I was to get where I needed to go in your store - Common Sense PLEASE!!! - Oh and jacking up your grocery your already over priced groceries is bridge to far for me.

This place has a large assortment of fresh and bulk foods. They have a hot n cold buffet type of service as well. Many grocery items. Vegetarian items abound the store as well as meats and seafood. Easy access and a nice parking lot. Other stores and services easily walkable nearby. Outdoor eating area as well. Weather permitting. Well worth stopping in for a visit.

Local market. Prices a bit higher than a Safeway, but great quality and supporting a local small business. The soups are really, really good. Try the Chili!

Love this store... go elsewhere for cheaper snacks but they have really really good hot foods in the hot kitchen section. try the salt & vinegar wings... love those boys. once we were there and two employees were having a disagreement. the lady was like “i am your supERIOR i will tell you when you have your break” & the guy was not having it i felt like a cameraman on the bachelor. 10/10 wings, 10/10 service, 11/10 drama

Well stocked for Thanksgiving even the day before!

The employees were very friendly. There was a good selection, and from what I looked at the prices were decent.

The service here is AMAZING. When you’ve been shopping here for over 20 years, you get to know the friendly and helpful faces like Lilia, Arik, Mei, and CJ. I love the PRODUCE dept with its fresh and healthy selections which constantly stocks fresh produce. My favorite is the $5 Mondays with the great deals throughout the store and as a Something Extra Member, I get reward vouchers that can be applied towards my next purchase. Great job, Nob Hill.

The biggest and bestest grocery store

I had got cake from here. Sometimes the cakes are out of the park and sometimes, its hard to eat. The last time I ordered a chocolate cake and decided to never order anything here anymore.

I shop here a few times a week, and love it. Theres little that I cant find here, the occasional specially item, but it is rare that I need to go to a second store. Prices are reasonable and I like their rewards program.They have been expanding their prepared food selection, and now have a small bar in the front of the store.The only negative I have is that the sandwiches could be better. They are decent, but could stand some improvement.

This Nob Hill Foods location is an absolutely wonderful grocery store. As soon as you walk in, youre greeted with delicious food immediately! I poke bowl station, sandwiches, salads, cookies, other sweets, breads, cakes, cupcakes, I can go on!! Behind that is fruit and veggies, and then a beautiful butchers station.This store also has a huge variety of regular grocery goods, all of which are high quality. The prices here are higher than your next grocery store, such as Lucky or Safeway. But this store is close to Oracle Park, and thus you have to add at least a dollar to the price of everything you would buy elsewhere!!I love their ciabatta bread from their bakery. This is some of the best ciabatta Ive ever eaten. Any of the bread from their bakery is delicious as can be. Its fresh and does not taste of chemicals or crud. I love it!

This is solely based on their food court which has pretty good burritos for about $6.50. I took away a star because it heavily depends on who makes it. Some will give you a human baby, others will give a burrito the size equivalent of a microwaveable bean burrito.

Excellent store! Modern, spacious, clean, not crowded, well lit, good variety, good produce, great staff. They even have tasty and quality fresh food to eat there or take home. They also have a nice bar serving a variety of local beer.Only issue is that it’s a bit pricey.

The hot bar is pretty decent, but can be pricey. Soups arent fantastic and are mostly just hot, slightly flavored water. There was one employee who may have been new that completely was rude and ripped one of the bags I brought in (cloth) as he was struggling to open it.

Went for a walk inside after getting a massage next door at new life acupuncture. The store is extremely nice and well organized and items were similarly priced to whole foods. I didnt purchase anything but it was a pleasant walk, lots of parking, clean bathrooms.

A decent grocery store with decent food for lunch. This. Place. Has. A. Bar. Is this the new thing? My colleagues and I went for happy hour as an ironic end to an ironic weak. Loved it. The bartender is great.

Ive been shopping at this Nob Hills location on and off for a few months and have always had a very pleasant experience and friendly service. Today was unfortunately different. I had picked about 15 apples and pears that I had put loosely in the shopping bag I had brought in. In the process of checking out, about half of them must have landed on the floor at one time or another, as the cashier tried to first log into his register and then manually insert the produce codes. Im not even so much put off by his cursing as he couldnt log into his register for minutes, but that the produce that I had carefully picked was dropped on the floor hard and dragged over the belt, without even so much as acknowledging this or offering to pick replacement produce. Thats not what I am used from Nob Hill at all. I have now a bunch of pricey, dinged up fruit that was meant for the week, but needs to be used up today if I still want to be able to enjoy it. Customer service experience today--minus three stars.

Non Hill is an excellent store and our favorite general purpose grocery store in the Redwood City area. Significantly less crowded than the Sequoia Station Safeway, and almost always a quick checkout. Bob definitely does not have the same number of items/brands as a large Safeway, but they have all you need for a weekly shopping run. They accept Apple Pay. Wells Fargo branch and ATM in the store.

Selection and quality are fantastic. The store is clean, well laid out, and beautiful. There are nice seating areas both indoors and outside to have a Starbucks coffee or eat lunch.Great store

Its like Safeway and whole foods combined but really convenient - re-edit - I also wanted to add that in the first encounters that I have with the staff employees, Ive received nothing the complete professionalism, friendliness, and attentiveness. I wish I knew the cashiers name with blonde hair and big personality but I wish I did, shes been amazing and has been really friendly and even bagged our groceries. Its great always getting our food through her line.

This place is a hidden gem - I was blown away by the size and quality the first time I went here. Its well known to everyone in Redwood Shores. They carry an extensive collection of everything from cheese to baby food. Prices are somewhat eclectic - some items are a great deal whereas others are more expensive than whole foods (e.g. harmless harvest coconut water). The hot food bar and soup section is excellent. Fresh grocery is decent - they have organic food but not as extensive as other high end stores.

One of the best grocery stores ive ever been to. On top of being a very well designed grocery store, they have hot and ready food, a bar with multiple taps (who does that in a grocery store?), and friendly staff (as well as self check-out lanes). The store is well lit and decently sized, and is opened to 11pm for the late night runs.

Selection is good. Market is very clean. Prices are slightly higher than Trader Joes. The staff was extremely nice. While I was waiting to be rung up my toddler and preschooler started to complain they were thirsty. I was telling them they have to wait a few minutes until we get in the car when the cashier handed me a complimentary water bottle. So nice of her! I will definitely shop there again!

Very clean, nicely run store with kind of an amazingly varied selection of goods. When I slow down and look at whats available for even something like shampoo, I feel a bit overwhelmed by the choices. At the same time the selection isnt exhaustive (its missing Crystal Louisiana hot sauce, for example), but has more than a dozen other alternatives usually (all kinds of hot sauces Ive never seen before) to tickle your fancy.Ive heard the prices here are a bit high for the quality youre getting, but considering the high quality of the neighborhood and the nearby location to residents of Redwood Shores, its really my only go-to option. The parking lot spaces are very small, but theres a lot of them so I usually dont have much trouble parking. Seriously, come for the selection if nothing else.

I love the atmosphere and the food court. Bakery is one if the best for ready made cakes. Monday sales are awesome! Very similar to Whole Foods but better tasting, better variety, and much less expensive.

This Nob Hill is a hidden gem. Its a Whole Foods without the Whole Food selection. They sell everyday items at normal prices. This is a Nob Hill you want to visit for more than Grocery Shopping. Its a lunch time hot spot.
