I had to have original parts replaced that were 15 & 1/2 years old! Now if that’s not a testament to the value of Nissan I don’t know what is! The service at Nissan is the best of the best! Declined the extended warranty at least twice. When it came time to sign the paperwork, they included the extended warranty. I asked if the warranty was included. They said no. I did some math and verified it was and they were trying to hide it in the price. They came back acting like it wasnt an accident.Had to service my new vehicle withing two weeks of purchase. They scratched the hood of my car and denied doing it.Just be careful I guess.

Careful if selling via KBB Instant Cash -- its a total bait/switch and a complete waste of time. Deceptive practices to be expected if/when working with these guys, unfortunately. Theres a reason Carvana, Shift, Vroom and others are eating their lunch.
Tried to work to trade in my truck and once we got the truck appraised they never contacted me again. I called a couple numbers but no one called me back. They then texted me a week after no call backs asking if I still wanted to sell. Dunno what the deal is but not fun.
Had a tensioner problem said I need a new alternator, it already had new one in install two months ago my mechanic, after putting a new alternator in after already had one in he finally figured out that there was a tensioner After all I still got stuck with large bill $2500 later. Not a dealer you want your car to be fixed at go to Burlingame. To answer your question have another dealer know it was your dealer. It had a new alternator and a new battery and They said I needed both which are both brand new before I brought it in. The tech could not figure out that it was the tensioner in the first place. That is the The problem I have. I’ve been working on cars for the last 20 years. Didn’t have time to fix it so I brought it to the dealer they gave me the runaround oh joy.
FIxed the airbags promptly and carried out a safety check. No charge.I am too old to buy a new vehicle but I love the Pathfinder. I bought my first one in 1987 (two-door version). This is my second (bought early 2004). It will outlast me.
They sold 3 year/36000 service plan for My Nissan Rouge. I paid almost 1500 for 3 year plan and they said it will cover for service cost now they are saying it just covers Oil change.I amFeeling like cheated. Why someone will buy $1500 plan for 6 oil changes. That doesn’t make sense. These people tell lies to sell the vehicle these plans and later on don’t take any responsibility.Update:- My appointment was at Nissan Boardwalk, Redwood city-8AM on 04/14/21. They asked for $320 upfront before even touching the vehicle. I have Fidelity service contract for 3 years which Nissan dealer sold me saying it will cover the maintenance cost.And When I complained, they suggested me to cancel it now.

I paid for a service that included having my fluids checked. I believe, that I stated that I needed windshield wiper fluid put in my car but it was not done. Update on my original review:The Service Manager called me after posting the review and left a voicemail saying he was away for the previous 2 weeks while the car was there. He said they are charging me $100 storage fee starting yesterday and that I either pay them the amount they demand and take the car or face paying a daily $100 fee. I was forced to pickup the car in a rush and pay their fee. The technician left a message saying that they performed a 30,000 mile service on the card and thats why they charged $570. I never authorized a 30,000 mile service! The car has just over 20,000 miles.BCI MALFUNCTION message was NOT resolved. When I turned on the car the next morning it was back and is still preventing me from starting the car. When I dropped off the car, it was after hours. When I picked it up two weeks later (due to delays caused by the service department, not by me, as detailed in my original review below), I realized what a tiny shop they have over there. Also, the only people there were the service manager hiding in his cubicle and the technician. This is by far the worst car service experience I have ever had and I strongly recommend everyone to AVOID AVOID AVOID this FRAUDULENT place.I just saw that they submitted a response to my original review, saying that their service manager took care of it. The above described how he took care of it... he took care of alright...Below is my original review:Do not take your car to Boardwalk Nissan. I dropped off the car more than 1 1/2 weeks ago after having BCI MALFUNCTION message on my dashboard for a week. Service tech called and said $250 to diagnose this and $550 for 15,000 mile service. Told him I had an extended warranty and called him back the next day and left him voicemail message with Fidelity warranty number and my phone number. Several days and he hasnt called backed, so I called and hes not there I was transferred to the service manager voicemail and left him a message again with my cell phone number and requested call back . Several days and no one calls me. I called and spoke to the same tech - he says he had my phone number wrong, says he didnt find any problem and never saw BCI MALFUNCTION, never got my Fidelity warranty number and still charged me $250. In addition, turns out that what he calls 15,000 mile maintenance is less than half of the items of what another nearby dealership includes for $450 or whats in the maintenance book. He didnt even replace the wiper blades... saying theyre fine, theyre not . He then said talk to service manager and hung up on. Calling Nissan USA to file a fraud complaint.

Ive had many experiences with other dealership in the past and buying a car here was the most hassle free and easy. Elisa was wonderful to work with and made it so quick and easy. Great customer service, easy to talk to and was on top of everything. Basically, when I got there, shes done with the paper work and only thing I needed to do was sign. Kyle who showed me the car gave me the most excellent service showing me all the features of the car and gave me information about diesel fuel. Very friendly guy and basically exceeded what customer service should be. Im very happy with my purchase and I highly recommend this dealership and make sure to talk to Elisa and Kyle when you come by.
First time buyer and Eduardo was awesome, I’ve worked at a dealership in the past and he made this experience change my mind on car salesmen being scam artist. He was honest and polite, family man who understands that great customer service and honesty goes farther then just getting a sale. The people that helped us last Saturday, July 25th around 5pm were awesome. It was a lady and two men. They all went above and beyond to get me the car I liked, 2020 Nissan Kicks. I had bought a CPO, Nissan Rogue from here back in 2010 and loved that car for a good 10yrs. But needed something newer and up to date, but a little smaller than the Rogue. I took my 2013 nissan pathfinder in for a brake service I got it in by 740am and then didnt get a call until 11am saying they just finished the walk through and they told me what needed fixing and I gave the okay for all of it which was only brakes and rotor for the rear axel and a new battery and then I called at 230pm and they said it would be done in 40 min and then I get there the rep said another ten minutes when it was already past the time he quoted so I didnt get off the lot Til a little after 4pm so something that should of only been half a day turned into all day. After the rep told me 10 more minutes I saw him go get food then go on lunch while he was on lunch I saw that my car was done and ready to go I also saw the mechanic that was driving it around had his arm hanging out the window so that his armpit was on the inside of the door I would give zero if I could

Stay away from this dealership. I purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee right before the SIP with Derek and he was pleasant to work with. However, if you are going to finance, stay away from finance department! Initially, I did purchase the warranty, but the next day I provided written notice that I wanted to cancel. Toan, the finance manager, who helped me with the finance and supports both Redwood Jeep and Nissan said he would provide the refund once the loan had processed. Then SIP happened, I followed up multiple times via email and phone calls/texts (March 2020-January 2021) once the dealership was open again. Nothing happened. I also escalated to the finance manager, Aramis/Franklin/James with no success. Here we are end of January and I not only still paying for the extra warranty and the interest included. This has been the worst experience and endless promises by multiple Jeep employees. No oversight, no follow-up, no accountability. As a comparison, my husband had purchased a car from another dealership in October, requested the warranty refund and was provided within a day. I went in today to speak to Toan to take care of this in-person and he responded with a usual response, call on Wednesday. Mind you, when I approached his office, he did not put on his mask or followed San Mateo Health protocol. I have been more than reasonable and understanding with all this going on, giving almost one year for this dealership to process this request, but an excuse of it got lost in process with multiple follow-ups throughout the year, is unacceptable. This is my second Jeep purchase and truly do regret going with a dealership close to my home. You are better off with financing with Fremont DGDG which I had the best experience with the finance team and salesperson. At this point, I have no choice but to report to BBB, unless the owner can resolve.
What an amazing experience! We decided to purchase out our lease that we originated in Colma. I tried to return there, but had a bad experience. In talking with my credit union, they told me they had a contact at Boardwalk Nissan that they worked with often. What they didnt tell me is how absolutely seamless this process was going to be. Elisa Lopez was in contact with me for a week before I actually signed the paperwork. We were able to communicate most of the details ahead of time. We dropped the vehicle off for inspection Sunday afternoon. By the time I got to the dealership on Monday at 4:20 pm, the car had been inspected, they had addressed a recall and washed it for me. I was driving away at 4:35 after signing all of the paperwork! This is one happy customer. Not only would I return for another vehicle, I would recommend them to family and friends as well. I took my Nissan Altima 2013 for a recall fix after one week my car was down for CVT transmission, they gave me a estimate for 5k and I filled a claim with Nissan company, they approved my claim for 50% off, So, when Boardwalk Nissan was notified, they increased the price for $6,700 😠. I claimed it but they doesn’t care. I paid $3,350. It was unfair, and still my car feels weird .Answer; They told me new CVT transmission with everything included, not reconditioned, or rebuilt. Even with taxes included, $5k . And a young guy too in the desk told me the manager gave me a little discount but everything changed when my claim was approved. Of course!! After they saw extra more money . And I made the mistake not to asked everything in a papers for proofs or evidence, because I never know you’re not faithful with your words, but if you’re like companies who recorded everything in a call when you are calling clients you can prove for yourself I’m saying the truth.
Got an awesome deal on my car and amazing customer service! They went out of they way to make my deal work and on top of that, they delivered my car! It was a smooth, fast and painless shopping experience...as it should be! I didnt spend all day at the dealership. I got there, my car was ready for me to test drive it. I liked the car, signed the paperwork and then they delivered my car to my house. Awesome place to get a good deal on a car and outstanding customer service!

My experience this time was surprisingly good, especially compared to my past experiences with same dealership. Process of replacing my expired lease with a new one was really fast, streamlined, haggling-free, and simple. I contacted a sales person asking for current deals on specific model, got quick reply with availability, once I selected the vehicle I was interested on, things moved quickly and easily. In a matter of Id say 1 hour at the most, I had my new lease contract finalized and all taken care of. Good job.

During this pandemic time, I am surprised to see the lack of safe guard at the facility; no social distancing, no hand sanitizers available, coffee cups in the open for anyone to possibly sneeze of couch on, and no one wipe down furnitures and door handles and such at all during my visit.I did not feel safe at all.

Nissan boardwalk provides the most exceptional customer relation experience there is. I began my search for a vehicle to help minimized the cost and time of my commute from Hayward to Redwood City. Fernando made that first connection by understanding my struggle sing he is a super commuter as well. He offered me a ride to the train station and remained respectfully in contact once I was ready to purchase. I can tell him and Eduardo were genuine trying to make my life easier and they werent only focus on making a sale. My budget fluctuated and Fernando found me the most cost efficient vehicle which was the Nissan Leaf! Eduardo was able to work with my credit and assist me to take the car home as soon as possible at an affordable rate so that I can be comfortable, well rested and on time to work everyday. These two are so attentive when I need to use the free charger, have questions and they remind me of what kinship is about. We ended up prepaying for all our services and they gave us a great deal on this the second time around given we were repeat clients.The service department is great too.Jason Manown has been my service advisor for the past 4.5 years and he is a great guy to work with.Drop-offs are always quick, factory-recalls fixed without me requesting for it, everything is explained well and he has personally run the car through the car-wash before bringing it to me.

Took my Nissan Frontier in to the shop for a oil change and tire rotation. Jason noticed a scrape on the passenger side of the truck ... and I jokingly said, Yes, take care of that too. When I picked up the truck, Jason pointed out that with some rubbing compound and car wax, they were able to take care of most of the scrape. And he did not charge anything. That is service unheard of these days. Thanks to Jason and Boardwalk Nissan.
I go out of my way to always bring my car to Boardwalk Nissan for servicing. Over the years, Jason has helped me to understand what is going on with my car as well as what all of my options are. He is approachable and makes sure I feel like I have enough information to make the best choice. My most recent appointment was no different. I had been hearing a noise for a few days and brought it it- turns out it was a pretty expensive repair but Jason broke down the cost and helped me make decisions that would keep my car running safely and minimize my expense. Absolutely 5 STAR service from Elisa Lopez and Boardwalk Nissan.I have never had such efficient, straightforward and courteous dealings buying a car. After a terrible experience with another dealer who promised me specific terms on a car only to jack up the price and double the down-payment once I got there to drive it, I was especially relieved and surprised to find what Elisa Lopez promised was delivered and then some . Elisa patiently reviewed terms and deals on several cars with me until I found the right one for my budget and needs, got me approved despite my difficult credit situation, and quickly and efficiently processed the paperwork within less than an hour. I will refer Elisa and this company to anyone with the utmost confidence they will come away as wowed as I was with the outstanding service.
Nissan was a fantastic experience for me. I got friendly/ honest service. Jason the service manager made me feel that I would be taken good care of and I was. I will only take my car to Nissan and highly recommend everyone take their car here.
Everything was ok, but they forgot to do the oil change in my car
I brought my car in because it was hydroplaning in the rain and I was losing control -- I know this can be totally normal but I wanted to have peace of mind so I brought it in to get looked at in case anything needed replacing.It ended up costing me $200 even though I was told nothing was wrong. I guess I paid for the peace of mind service.I feel a little taken advantage of because I dont know enough to understand the services that they performed, and maybe that stuff needed to happen, but when I asked if it was necessary, it felt like he was avoiding the question and just explaining to me how hydroplaning and traction control worked instead of explaining what I was paying for.In his defense, he is a nice guy and I did sign the customer estimate, but he never voiced the total. He said they would take a look, there wasnt much discussion about what that meant. Its on me for assuming they would only replace what was necessary thinking that was not the real total. But instead I got the full works.The point is, Ive been coming here for years, this guy has helped me change my oil several times, but I just dont trust that I needed all that stuff today. I think Ill try to find a mechanic that is more clear about the services.
Buying my new 2019 Leaf was such a positive experience. In 2011 I bought a Leaf here and swore Id never go back, I only did because they have a special deal through Bay Area SunShares and I thought Id go in and get a quote. I ended up buying a car and couldnt be more pleased with the whole experience. I especially appreciate Matthew M, who is extremely knowledgeable and answered all our questions about the Leaf. (This is rare, other dealers Ive been too dont understand the electric cars and I usually know more than they do.) And Sam was wonderfully patient with our test drive. All in all it may have been the best experience Ive had buying a car. What a wonderful surprise.
Kelly was great and didnt play games. Doug and others on staff were very helpful and treated me like family. Only thing better would have been if you had the Pathfinder on the lot but hey we all know you cant really control that.

Low quality service. Did not offer a loaner car Even when the Nissan service provider line had said it would be provided one. No option for a shuttle or Lyft as location doesn’t have a waiting arena, information that should be give beforehand you drop a car. Also no complimentary car wash.

Jason in service really took care of us. Top notch communication and follow up. Assessed what needed to be done, kept us updated and got the work done as promised and on time. Went in to pick up my vehicle that I got through Fair app and Elisa made it the most seem less experience with picking up a vehicle I have done. Friendly helpful service! Needed some repairs and they provided all the estimates, helped deal with insurance and with a rental car when it took longer than expected. Also got it back washed and charged
