I bought a 2021 Toyota Tacoma from them and I was assisted by Adam Raines. Adam was great. He is non-pushy unlike most car sales people and I really appreciated that. I also appreciated the fact that they didnt have a dealership markup. I would have given them 5 stars but I am taking away a star because the vehicle had a warning that needed to be inspected. This is something they should have caught and because they did not I had to bring the truck back the next day to have it checked up.

Nauroze Unais was really good to work with. I loved is clear communication and transparency. I spoke to agents at other dealers and given the cars are hard to find I found many of them to not show customer care which they would otherwise in a buyers market. This was my second time buying at 101. I had a very good experience here. I wish they had had more of a color selection of the car I wanted, but the staff was great and Sean worked with me to get to a number I was comfortable with. Even the finance person was not overly aggressive and we actually wound up having good conversation. Overall I would recommend them.

Sadly, none of the service providers agreed that it is a defect. Great experience for a recall and cat security.I recently went in for a recall. Their office is really clean and they have great coffee. Everyone is friendly and I received a ride after I drop off the car and they picked me up once the recall was completed.I called again today after hearing about the horristories of catalytic converters being stolen. The guy on the phone told me not to worry since my car model is newer and I do not need a catalytic converter shield.Excellent service!

Dealerships can be intimidating places. However, I felt quite welcome here and there was a pleasant environment that really put me at ease. Sean really helped - he was professional and friendly throughout the whole process. Like others have mentioned, they have competitive prices and their sales tactics are very respectful to the customer. They will offer a deal/warranty/service, but they wont push you if you decline or simply need time to consider. They offered tea, coffee (various types - like mochas, lattes, cappuccinos) and some some snacks as you lounged/waited for service. Im extremely pleased with my purchase and experience here.

We were looking to buy a Toyota Prius we didn’t care if it was used or new so we went in Toyota 101 and met Jordy He was so helpful and told us all about the good stuff that came with a new Prius prime that and we went back a couple days later and bought the car he was amazing thank you for all your help and Toyota 101.

I couldnt have had a better car buying experience! I had a small window of time to buy a car, and was apprehensive due to covid. I was able to browse the cars online, and when I found one I liked, they reached out to me individually for any questions I had. I chose the car I wanted to test drive, and booked a time to come by. When I got there, Jun Javier was ready to go. He greeted me, supported with the test drive, and was so efficient and comforting with the entire car buying experience. Not only was it easy, but it was fun! I really enjoyed working with all of them and would recommend any of my friends and family to Toyota 101.

In addition to regular maintenance, I asked their service department to check on an issue my car was having. In order for them to check, it would cost $160. Once they found the problem, that cost would go to the cost of the repair only if I chose for the repair. In this case, they quoted me a price that was already high enough to begin with. I said proceed with the repair. Then they come back with a higher cost, and I said no. Im pretty sure they know that once they have you down for $160, they can come back to you with whatever cost and know that you will likely go with it anyways. In my case, I know that I will never take my car to this dealership again.

Came to Toyota 101 on Wednesday, November 27th to purchase a RAV4 XSE. I had the pleasure of working with Sean during this visit. After coming to an agreement, Sean welcomed my sister and I the following day and allowed us some time to test drive the car and have further discussion on the proposed payment plan for the car. Sean was very knowledgeable, kind, and to the point. In my experience working with other dealerships in the past, I’ve noticed many be very pushy and at times overly aggressive with me. However this was not the case with Sean. He was extremely kind and very honest, keeping me, the customer’s, best interest in mind. I felt very comfortable with him and trusted his advice and counsel. If not for Sean, I probably would not have enjoyed my experience getting my car this much. Nevertheless, visiting this Toyota branch was a positive experience. The people greeting us were kind and attentive, the finance gentleman that helped us with our paperwork was extremely helpful and down to earth, and of course Sean was wonderful as well. Will gladly refer folks to this Toyota branch in the future, including myself when it comes time for maintenance on my car.

Good hospitable service.  I purchased a vehicle a month ago from SF Toyota (and soon found their follow up customer service was horrible) so I went to Toytoa 101 in Redwood City for them to assist in a hopefully minor firmware update to my Rav 4 Hybrid so that functions of the app would work. After two long phone calls with the national Toyota 800 # which got nowhere this location’s service department was able to apply the firmware update; app still didn’t work but then their Technician Ted identified the issue and assisted me.While I waited in their lounge area for the repair work I was offered a free beverage, someone came over and asked if I needed a small table (I was using my laptop to do some work). These are examples of exceptional service (someone tell SF Toyota how to do it).Thanks Guillermo & Ted. I’ll be back (if needed)

Really nice people selling a good product. We got a brand-new Camry and the power, handling, and features were better than I expected. We got a good price too. We are pleased with the car. However…We were not informed, and they may not have even known, that the Toyota audio system is not compatible with Apple CarPlay. It took quite a bit of troubleshooting and talking to people at Apple and Toyota to even figure this out. This can cause annoying problems when you get in the car with your iPhone. Its not that it doesnt work. You just cant control it completely and the Apple CarPlay interface is not available. If you have linked your phone with the audio system, among other things, it will simply start playing music even though you do not want it to.DO NOT WAIT FOR YOUR CAR. GO HOME.Getting our six month check up today. Nothing much to it. Top up fluids. Rotate tires. Vacuum the carpet. Look around at things a bit. Maybe a quick computer check. Maybe.BUT.....It took more than two hours after our scheduled appointment time for the car to even get into the shop. Not realizing that this was how it was going to work out I waited over half an hour for their shuttle to take me back just over the other side of the 101 to our apartment and then gave up and went for a walk. I came back hoping my car would be ready and waited forever in the lounge area. Having arrived just before 1 PM I am now finally leaving with my car at 5 p.m. I am not pleased.As far as the old facility is concerned they are building a brand-new one using their car lot just down the street. They are going to start work on it in a couple of months.Why do I think it might not happen on schedule.....On a minor positive note, the parts department has a remarkable assortment of blister pack Chinese tools and gadgets for amazing prices. I bought 35 bucks worth (8 items) after checking the items on eBay and realizing that they were beating even the lowest prices there.

Jordy at Toyota 101 made my entire transaction as easy as can be! I called him in the morning and by the afternoon everything was set, all via email and text. Al I had to do was come in and sign.

We had a great experience buying a Prius Prime here. Frankie worked with me over email before we arrived. When we drove over, Frankie greeted us outside when we arrived, and immediately took us to the car to take a test drive. Afterwards, he walked us through the finances and was able to get us a rebate we found at another dealer. At no point did we ever feel rushed, and Frankie took the time to educate us about the smart features of our car so we would not be surprised. (The Limited trim Prius Prime did not have android auto, but the lower tier LE trim did, and that was a feature we cared about). He even helped us debug our registration with Toyota connect when it did not succeed at first. We really liked working with Frankie.I also want to give a shout out to Adam, who helped explain the Toyota Plus VSA to us.Zack was the Finance Manager that worked with us, and he was also very friendly and patient. He took the time to explain everything to us about the optional extended warranty (Toyotacare Platinum) and maintenance plan (Toyotacare Plus). He gave us the time to read through all the documents, and to step out to talk to family when we were unsure what to make of a mandatory arbitration provision in the contract. Finally, he helped us take advantage of available state rebates for electric vehicles.We would 100% buy a car from Toyota101 again.

It was really pleasant working with Jun. We were specifically impressed by his honesty. One of our cars was getting old and needed a replacement. We studied new car prices online for a couple of weeks and found a great sale at this dealership. We were skeptical about the price initially. Because the price you see is not usually the price you get with car dealers. But we decided to take a look, just in case. Jun showed us the car and took us to test drive that day. When we sat down requesting the price in the advertisement, Jun honored it without any sales pitches. This was a huge surprise comparing to our previous car buying experiences. We immediately crossed the bridge, went back home to get our old car in for trade. The whole buying process took less than one hour (excluding the trip back home). And we got extra maintenance packages for free. We could not be happier. This was the fastest car purchase we have ever made. I will definitely recommend my friends to here.
