I was charged an additional 5 dollars to have my air filter checked…. I was only there for an oil changed…. The technician didn’t even bother telling me the charge …… also another worker pulled out my car once it was done without covering my front seat….he was dirty and filthy…. Never going there again …. Unprofessional . Poor quality work

Great group of people working there. Never feel taken advantage of, always feel like they’re looking out for me. There are tons of places to go to in the Peninsula, they have really separated themselves with their fair pricing and great service.

I needed to get my vehicle cleared for Uber and they were a listed provider. I called a few other places but they win my business by being honest and working with me on timing. I would go there and recommend to my family and friends. Thanks !!!

Lupe is a nice guy, but I wont recommend this place for VW car maintenance service (oil change, spark plug, etc.) because he may not have the right parts for your car. Spent ~$400 for car services in his place, but had problem with car vibrating on free way after service (very scary experience) so I sent my car to VW dealership and cost me ~$800 to fix the problems (expensive but thanks Boardwalk). Lupe refund me ~$290 which was fine, but still I ended up spending ~$900 and a weekend, bad experience.

Lupe and his team did a great job of replacing my engine thermostat and sensor quickly at a very reasonable price. After dropping off my GM Sierra in the morning, the team kept me updated on the cost and completed the job on rime. Highly recommend this Meineke shop.

I took my daughters 74 Fiat 124 Spider in with a failing muffler. Lupe, the owner, is someone I met through the Nor Cal Shelby Club long long ago. I hadnt done business there in over 20 years.The Fiat needed a whole exhaust from the header back. Lupe and his crew built a 2 exhaust, including a NOS Ansa muffler that he had been n the stacks and stacks of parts he has, for a shockingly reasonable price.Great work, great price, exceptional value. I highly recommend this establishment for any and all work you need done.

I have been to this Meineke twice, once for a loud buzz that I thought was an exhaust system problem (it was), and most recently for shuddering front brakes. Each time my mechanical issues were fixed competently, quickly, and for far less money than I had expected to be charged. Meineke has earned my repeat business and deserves yours, too!

Meineke on middlefield best service always solve the problems

1992 Chevy G20 Sports VanGearbox repair and replace.My power steering fluid was leaking after 6 months of getting the hoses repaired. After diagnosing the problem, I researched around and found Meineke in Redwood City, CA. I spoke with Lupe over the phone several times, dropped off my van overnight and my van was ready the next day. I feel confident that Ill be able to hit the road without any future problems.

Brought my car here upon a family referral and also an excellent price. However once I received vehicle there was some small interior damage on door I talked to owner and he didn’t have a clue nor a remedy for me. Family member spoke with him and there was no resolution only another explanation. I was given one explanation as to how the damage may have occurred and another was given to my family which was really lame and quite opportunistic given I am driving back home to Texas.If you take your car here my advice is to take photos with time stamp of entire vehicle before handing over.

Great service and great prices!! I had a wonderful experience here. Earlier in the day I had received a quote for my cars brakes that was crazy (about $1400 from Firestone). So, I took it to Meineke to get a second opinion and see if my car situation was truly that terrible and needed fixing before a small road trip I was about to take. Alberto at Meineke took a look at my brakes and advised me of some repairs for new calipers and front brake pads for less than a third of the Firestone price. He suggested that I could go on the trip and bring it back after for the repairs to be done as the repairs werent necessarily urgent (like the previous place I had taken it to tried to tell me). So, I went on my trip and experienced zero problems while driving there and back. Alberto fixed my car up the day after I got back. My brakes feel FANTASTIC. I saved about $1000 AND he surprised me when I picked up my car by fixing my clunky door free of charge. This was excellent customer service from fair people. I would recommend taking your car here. They will treat you fairly!

Could not speak higher of these guys. Took my car in for a second opinion on replacing the brake pads. After taking a look, they let me know that in their opinion it did not need a replacement for another 10-15k miles. Amazing to find a mechanic who takes money out of their pocket to give you honest advice. I will be taking my Jeep to them for all future repair work.

I have a 99 Volvo with driveline problems that was making a horrible noise. I came in and not only did Chris give me right in on my oil change with no wait, but Nick showed me sludge and also gave me a discounted oil flush. He also was kind enough to show me how much better the oil looked coming through the engine after the flush. He explained all the reasons that it would be helpful and better for my car. John, the manager, was willing to show me the best way to get my drive line fixed and was willing to spend lots of time along with Eric calling different vendors to find the best possible price. Im very appreciative of the time they took to help me with my car problems and even though this location is pretty far from my house, I will always try to come here for my car issues. The service is great. The prices are great. And they really take care of their customers.

Dont let yourself be influenced by the shop: yes it is small (and a bit messy) and feels like Mom & Pop. But guess what, service was perfect. Diagnosis was done with precision, I was called for follow ups when needed and timelines were respected to the hour. Even better, the cost of repairs had nothing to do with the levels invoiced by my dealership. I guess my car found a new place to be taken care of.

I got a Groupon for Car Care, and these guys turned out to be what I got.They are honest and do pretty good work, but you really need to have anappointment. Having a ride so as to be able to leave your car all dayworks even better.They are located in an interesting part of town, which means that you canget a burrito authentico if you want to wait while they are changing your oil. . .
