I dont see any reason to complain about RAC, all I can say is that, they were there when I need it and they helped me get what I want,I think if we play our part nicely then theyll play their part too,because remember one thing, you can always return the goods if you cant pay for it,or you can go make a payment plan until you get back on your feet,even if you return the goods your account will still be active when you want to go back in,just dont ignore them when you cant pay,give them a call and reason with them,remember at the end of the day theyre just doing their job and want to get paid too and feed their family,thank you Claudia and the Redwood City team for helping me out when I was down..
I’ve dealt with rent a center before but it was the Hayward location and being that they moved I decided to go with the Redwood City location. Worst decision EVER! The staff is very unprofessional and clueless! I was delivered a couch that had to be put together, which was fine but one of the pieces was broken. I called and asked for a replacement piece and was given attitude from the store manager CLAUDIA! Never in my life have I been told by and employee or manager “ well like I said!” Or “well what do you want me to do?” or even “well I haven’t been here so I don’t know what happened!” She sent the piece, I put the piece on and still wasn’t able to put the couch together! At this time I was over it, I had the couch maybe 2 weeks and couldn’t use one side of it. I called CLAUDIA and explained my frustration and again was given attitude saying, “well we’re not a short term rental company!” Instead of her asking what she could do to try and solve the problem she places me on hold and then proceeds to tell me that they will pick the couch up, I agree with the date and time and hang up. I never received a call saying they were on their way to retrieve the couch or anything, if someone says they will be there before 12pm a call would be great! I call the store again and I get CLAUDIA once again and explain that they never came to pick up the couch, she then says “yah they did, but nobody answered!” We exchange words and schedule another date. It has now been a month and they will be here tomorrow to collect the couch. I honestly have never been treated so poorly by a company on my life. A complete waste of my time and my money and will NEVER do business with this company EVER again!
Claudia and her staff were very helpful and amazing!!! We never been here and man oh man its very easy and helpful. Everything me and husband come in the staff is very welcoming and share what they like, so far they were right about the bed we got. We also a living set up with a couch and tables and lights. Amazing prices and rental services as well they also delivery. Awesome place!!!!
Worst customer service ever!!! It is very very difficult to contact the staff at the this location. It is very unfortunate that the rent a center in Hayward closed down. At least the staff there were knowledgeable and always provided concrete information. The staff at this location have been the most difficult to get concrete information such as payment, product ETA. I wish they had staff that would be more proactive with knowledge of how things work. It is very frustrating because everything is up in the air and it is complicated for me to plan ahead. Anyhow I hope corporate provides more training and show their employees how to handle the customers needs.
CLAUDIA IS THE WORST. Do NOT come here. The employees are rude, disrespectful, and of no help AT ALL!!!!!!! They’re trying to make me pay 600$ for a refurbished product I DID NOT BREAK. I HAVE PAID 2 THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR SOMETHING WORTH 606 DOLLARS BECAUSE OF CLAUDIA DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!

Worst customer service ever rude as hell and they called me at 10 p.m. from private numbers to threaten me harassing me saying theyre going to come in my house and take everything... mine me they broken in my house. And stoled everything PlayStation cameras money..days after i called a call from one of the guys there.. they were going to break in my house even though I was not in my home.. to take the thing i got from them..but i like I said I have no proof it was them..thats the worst place ever.. I so regret it getting stuff from them..And yes also they call and they all gave different amount.. And they call 24/7 calling my working calling all all my reference and yelling at them..THE MANAGER IS ONE OF THE worse people there so rude...
The manager is a sarcastic, rude, and harrassing individual. 4 people have called me in the past week with different amounts they want me to pay and when I call to make a payment it switches to another amount within a few hours. I tell them not to call my work phone yet she called AGAIN! Showed up to my house after I already talked to someone that morning who said they would call me back in 2 hours and instead send someone to my door. The manager lied and said they came because they do not have my phone number to call but I JUST TALKED TO SOMEONE THAT SAME DAY. To top it all off, they tell me the amount is 30.00 MORE than what the person who called earlier had said. Waiting on a district manager to call me in the morning. Worst customer service ever.
Wow i should of read some reviews before wasting my time going there, fir some reason i already expected bad seevice for its location. It took them 5 minutes to welcome me and and ask me if i needed any help. I was the only one there besides a guy maybe a friend having coffe or whatever with one of the empoyes. Fyi everything was so old and broken 😰 dont know how they lease anything like that.
DO NOT LEASE FROM THIS PLACE!! This people have no idea what good customer service is. They call customers 8 times a day (not exagerating)! Theyre constantly increasing the amount ON A DAY TO DAY BASIS and from what I see on the reviews im not the only one, the lady working there thinks she owns tha place i understand that its her job to make courtesy calls but this place feels more like a loan shark rather than an actual bussiness.WORST SERVICE EVER!!!! 🖓🖓🖓

The worst service I have ever had in my life, the employee is very despotic and does not help people, but that if when you have to give your payment they soften you as if you see a day ... but when you get your last cash payment nor do they soften you so that it happens to you and there if they skewer you the interests ... and more haorita with all this of the covid k people are out of work ... the worst custumer service,,,,, I do not know I recommend them !!!!
Have shelves and compare. Your receipts are not what they say. And if they dont understand, get a professional to give you a receiptY. Yamas and they tell you something else
Bad service.I was late in some payments, they call him and they are aggressive in the way they collect.I called the corporation to tell them what was happening the way the manager handles the collections and they dont do anything.Especially right now that one is unemployed or unemployed.
