Don’t listen to all these’s people who expect exceptional customer service where ever they place their feet. When you are as good as Nathan is. You have to be inspired to do good work by good people! When you have a problem and you have a guy infront of you who can fix it. You pay him and move on with your life. You don’t cry because he’s not nice to you. Booo hooo. Great guy, wonderful mechanic, stay strong brother. For the free world! I love your shop. You’re a real o g.
Great food and shakes. Friendly service.
Horrible guy. Seems like he is on drugs. Regret dropping my bike to him. Now he is holding my bike hostage and won’t fix it.
So I sent my bike here BEFORE I read the reviews. The reviews would have not made me want to send my bike there. But it was great! Not sure why people are rating low. Nathan was helpful, knowledgeble, well priced, and clearly cared about his work. He even called me after and asked me about the new tired and bike. I would recommend him and his shop.
Was working on an old Honda motorcycle restore for a few weeks, got it all fixed up and put together. Went to install the petcock valve and broke the fuel filter off in the process. Was super disappointed that I couldn’t fire itup that evening due to the broken fuel filter, and on a whim called Factory Wrench to ask if they sold them.Nathan answered and said I was welcome to come down and try one they had sitting on the counter. I was there in 10 mins, but the filter they had didn’t fit my petcock valve. Nathan stepped aside from his project, searched through a tupperware of old parts, found me a brand new filter off an old valve that’d fit my bike, and handed it to me.I said thank you for the impromptu help about 10 times and his only response was, “That’s the way the world should work.” Super great experience at the neighborhood bike shop and they got me what I needed to get up and riding that evening. Great guys, and I really appreciate it. I’ll be coming back in the future.
Great place for motorcycle love
What can I say but OUTSTANDING!!I have a 2016 Indian roadmaster.A basic oil change. In and out. Great priceBut the service is off the hook. The best by far. They are the OG.My new place to bring my bikeThank you
Just called them for a price quote and got chewed out for asking about pricing. Not sure what grinding his gears but definitely not dealing with a business that does not know how to speak to people with any professionalism.
This place is a joke, 1 clown working on bikes, only takes quick easy fixes. Doesnt seem to really know much about anything other than your most basic repairs. I would not recommend this place to anyone, go to a real shop where they actually know their stuff, not some hack that learns from YouTube videos.
Nathan rebuilt my Yamaha Blaster. He did a good job, good price, reasonable time to fix. It runs strong.
Beware!!! Nathan is a loose canon. I would give Nathan at Factory Wrench no stars if I could! I have been taking my bikes to him for years. He was always a little off and performed average work at best. I never had a problem paying my bills or an issue before. Today I brought in my boys WR250 bike to have a new stator bought and installed with a general service. Straight off he claimed I was not going to pay him and wanted to start a fight. These are 2 traits I am not! Very rude, very unprofessional and unpredictable attitude! I always try to support local businesses but this guy makes it difficult. I will never support Factory Wrench again!!!
Nathan always takes care us, been going there for years !
Small business with an emotionally unstable owner / operator, and I did not feel safe in his presence. Owner told my that my warranty battery arrived and to drive over to his shop and pick it up, then tried to sell me a Chinese piece of junk for $50 over retail. He the snapped at me out of the blue because I asked him to honor my warranty, because I shouldnt have to buy another battery. Take your bike elsewhere, not worth the risk of this guy freaking out on you. He was extremely rude and unprofessional to say the least.
This is such a great shop to have some quality work done to your bike for a fair price. Ive always had a great experience getting new tires put on my bike here. Will be returning many times!
Nathan does excellent work and hes very knowledgable. Always great talking with him!
WARNING: owner is unstable. wish i had read the other reviews on here giving same warning. while nathan is in fact an ok mechanic (not great, but decent), he unfortunately has shockingly aggravating customer skills, won’t stand by his work when he makes a mistake, and then becomes hostile and insulting to customers if he is challenged. his behavior can suddenly become so bizarre that when it’s happening you’ll feel like: “bro, can i get you some help.” i spent about $2k on my KTM over the last 2 years with him trying to support his business despite this personality abnormality because i like to support local guys. however, after experiencing yet another hostile episode firsthand at his shop — i had to give up on him. sad really. some of his family / friends should intervene....
Changed my front rim quickly and at a fair price. Nice guy. Will definitely be going back
MY DIRT BIKE WAS STUCK IN NEUTRAL. WOULD NOT SHIFT AWAY FROM 1ST. TOOK IT APART AND FOUND THE SHIFT DRUM WAS DEFECTIVE (DESTROYED) FROM WEAR AND TEAR. I BOUGHT THE SHIFT DRUM AND A FEW OTHER PARTS AND THOUGHT I HAD IT FIXED. WOULD THEN SHIFT BUT 2ND, 3RD, 4TH AND 5TH ACTED LIKE IT WAS IN NO GEAR AT ALL. TOOK BIKE TO HUDSON MOTORCYCLE SHOP ON ROSECRANS. CALLED AFTER TWO WEEKS AND THEY TOLD ME IT WAS ON THE LIST TO BE LOOKED AT. ENOUGH! RETRIEVED BIKE AND TOOK IT TO FACTORY WRENCH ON INGLEWOOD AVE. I ALREADY HAD THE CLUTCH SIDE COVER AND CLUTCH OFF SO NATHAN, THE OWNER/MECHANIC, IMMEDIATELY BEGAN GOING THRU A CURSORY PROCEDURE TO SEE WHY IT WOULD NOT SHIFT. THATS RIGHT, I SAID IMMEDIATELY. NOT WAITING TWO WEEKS TO FIND THAT IT IS ON THE LIST TO BE LOOKED AT. TWO DAYS LATER, NATHAN CALLED ME TO SAY IT WAS FIXED AND PUT ALL BACK TOGETHER. I TEST RODE IT AND IT SHIFTED PERFECTLY. BOTTOM LINE: IF YOU WANT YOUR BIKE WORKED ON BY SOMEONE WHO OBVIOUSLY LOVES HIS JOB INSTEAD OF A BRAIN DEAD MOTORCYCLE REPAIR SHOP WHO PUTS YOUR BIKE ON A LIST, GO TO FACTORY WRENCH, GET YOUR BIKE FIXED IN A TIMELY MANNER AND THEN TAKE YOUR BIKE HOME AS A HAPPY CUSTOMER. FOLKS, IT DOESNT GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS. FACTORY WRENCH ROCKS!
Ive been taking my bikes there for years. Anyone that feels the need to complain about this mans customer service is just a sad person that likes to complain. Ive always had good customer service and more importantly the work is always done well and at a fair price.
I called around a couple places and this seemed the best for a quick rubber swap on my FZ6. The owner/mechanic was nice and worked very efficiently. He has a neat parts graveyard and obviously loves working on motorcycles because hell talk about each dead case or rod with enthusiasm and passion. I could have done the work on my bike myself, but it was so fast and easy taking it here. Ill be back, for sure. I dont understand why this place has such negative reviews.
Great guy! Does lots of my maintenance on my bikes. Always a reasonable price.
Dropped off my R1 for front and back brake pads and got it back the same day at a fair price. Nate also went above and beyond to help me out with a broken peg bolt and saved me a trip to a tap extraction place. Great work at a fair price I highly recommend them.
Good with dirt bike for sure. cant say much about others bikes. Nice guy, vary straight forward! Seams mean if your soft.
Better off at Del Amo Motorsport, simple job and took advantage gave a quote of 45-90 and guess where he landed. Literally what the hell 90 bucks for a simple job. Never again.
I NEVER WRITE A REVIEW.THIS IS THE FIRST TIME.At first everything was easy, good vibes, questions answered as we proceeded with my bikes inspection for registration purposes, until a sudden extreme 180 degree change in behavior.NATHAN, You are the most unprofessional and disrespectful small business owner I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with, or rather lack of dealing with as you literally threw me out of your shop refusing to sell me a product which would solve my problem and garuntee professional customer service and satisfaction.I was left dumbfounded and speechless and can only advise people DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP with any need.
Ive been going to Factory Wrench for well over 8 years. Nathan has always treated me with respect and I have always done the same to him. He did a complete engine rebuild on my first bike and it worked perfectly by the time I sold it a few years later. He is currently fixing the starter motor on my Yamaha Road Star.On the usual basis, I go in for an oil change and when I get my bike back he has changed out my brakes and gives me a warning about the tread on my tires. He is a cool dude and he always looks out for me. Above all, he REALLY knows bike repairs. If you treat him disrespectfully, he will turn you away. Stop treating mechanics like dirt.
I went in for a service on my Ducati and it was simple, easy and it was done the same day. Thanks for tour help
Nate is a great guy. Called in last minute to get a brake and light inspection done. Took care of it the same day and it only cost $20!
Nathan is a nice guy knows a lot about bikes. I have a 2013 concours the oil change was like a third of Del amo $ 60 Im talking synthetic and k&n oil filter. I will be going back with no hesitation. He really knows about older bikes though.
Nate does great work for fair prices done right!
Really appreciated the knowledgeable and helpful service. Definitely trust these guys with my bike.
Nice guy very knowledgeable fizes all my bikes better prices than dealer guys knows what ge is doing!
Great service, perfect. Highly recommended.
This guy Nathan is a joke, totally rude and conceited and charges double what Del Amo charges for a carb rebuild. Seemed nice at first then said he would lower the price by 50.00 when I told him Del Amo charged half that price which tells me he was just trying to soak me lol!! He then copped an attitude and said he would pass on doing the job lol!! Avoid this place at all costs ;)...
Went there a couple years ago and the same thing Im reading on bad reviews is what happened to me. Guy is a weirdo and needs some help. DONT GO HERE. He also hates motorcycle club!!! By the way
This place is so inconsiderate, and rude, first off I went to go change my clutch and on the test ride afterwards he didnt remove my helmets and destroyed one of them, then I got my bike back with a ratteling noise, so I call and ask if they can look at it and Nate started arguing with me telling me that Im blaming it on the shop, that is not the case I just wanted them to look at what the noise was coming from after they gave it back
Very rude owner.
Met this guy when I was on vacation. I stopped into his shop with a friend. I over heard him screaming at a customer, which was a woman and he was yelling obscenities at her. Super disrespectful....
Owner has small boy syndrome beats customer service classes
Very knowledgeable and helpful.
DO NOT GO TO THIS GUY!He is rude, confrontational. And doesnt do good work. Gave me bike back and now it wont start
Desperately needed a front tire as I was driving around all day for work and my tire was completely bald and showing the inner wires all around the entire tire, I called in and they had a used tire for like $25 and $30 to install it I came in immediately and he helped me right away got me back on the road in no time Ill definitely be coming back here anytime I need anything for my bike
Rude, bad service
