Great way to show beaches from Redondo to Santa Monica in 1 day!They were a tiny bit more expensive than other rentals but totally worth it. We made it to SM and back with a full day rental. They had all the accessories and provided guidance on the bike path. Will definitely be back for the next group of visitors.

My friend came over to go bike riding and she and her daughter needed a bike. I’m so happy she found this place. Sue was great and welcoming which made me happy to know I can always have friends rent bikes here whenever! They both got bikes with baskets which made it easy for our beginner to put her belongings inside. Also, I noticed my own bike tires seemed flat compared to theirs and Sue had her husband put air in my tires, no charge, which was A+ service. Thanks you two.

Reasonable prices, Kenny and his wife were so helpful and made renting less intimidating. My husband and son enjoyed the electric and tanden bike. Next time, Im renting an electric bike and for half a day so I can enjoy a longer distance! Thanks for terrific service and a nice cup of cold water!

Just got back from a great ride with friends. We went to Marina Del Ray and back on the electric bikes!! Perfect day and the bikes did great. Sue was so great in making sure that we knew everything before we set out. She was fun to work with and we will be back.

Rented electric bikes for my husbands birthday yesterday. The owners, especially the wife, were so friendly and accommodating! The bikes were super fun. We took out four and it was pretty last minute, again, they were so helpful setting it up for us. We were having so much fun that we were late getting back. I called her and she just laughed and said take your time, I hope you are having fun. WOW! now THAT is customer service!! When we returned, I told her we were interested in purchasing two bikes. She was very helpful and gave us a ton of relevant information without being pushy at all. This place is great. Give them a try, you will no be disappointed!!

On vacation, bike riding along the shore was one of the items on our list. We found Pedego and thought we would give it a try. The shop was easy to find with parking behind the building. It was a very nice shop, building and overall area. Sue was awesome and very accommodating. She quickly got us set up, gave us a little orientation before she personally lead us down to the beach trailhead where she gave us pointers how to travel around.Riding electric bikes along the bike path was an amazing way to see the area and spend time with the family. Everything was great until my wife’s chain broke. My seat started falling down to the point where it made it hard for me to properly peddle. Both of these issues, which normally happen on bikes, would of been a major issue if we didn’t have the motorized drive on the bike. Because of that we were able to easily get to the shop.If I were to do it again I would probably return to Pedego Electric Bikes in Redondo.

So very happy day, electric biked a tandem rental all the way to santa monica. Most amazing way to enjoy LA beaches. Sue actually rode us out and helped us learn the bike and got us to the beach head. Great bikes, opened a little early for us, great price. Went from South Redondo to Santa Monica pier. Had a wonderful ride along the the ocean on the bike path. Highly recommended! Pedal assisted mode allows you to ride twice as far as on a pedal only bike. Buzz along the ocean at 15 miles an hour effortlessly. Makes you feel like a kid again .

I can not say enough great things about Ms. Kim! We rent two different times from her and both times were unbelievable! We used the bikes to ride the strand to Malibu and back in an afternoon. These bikes are the best things ever! So much better than sitting in traffic; plus the great views of riding up the strand. My wife and I currently saving up for a couple of bikes. Thank you Ms. Kim for making this a highlight of our honeymoon.

Kenny and Sue were awesome, they set me and my 2 kids up with electric bikes. We rode with pedal assist to Will Rogers beach and back on the coastal trail with no issues with batteries. Will definitely go back and rent from them when in town, they really cared that we had a great time.

These guys have tremendous customer service and are very helpful with everything. I went in to test ride a bike and the owner, Kenny was willing to take me out on a ride down to the strand and back. These bikes are surprisingly a lot of fun and worth the test drive or Day Long Rental!

We friggen loved it. Normal biking is fun but can be exhausting, and these bikes, well, they ride themselves. Its like riding a secret mini-scooter. You get all the fun of biking around town and exploring without the breathlessness (sure you can peddle if you want... but why?). I took my girlfriend for an awesome date where we rode to Terranea and back without a worry, I wont bore you with the details but there were many kisses involved. The bikes are simply amazing.As for the people, theyre friendly and love to take you out to show you how to use the bikes. If youre thinking about it, take it from me, its totally worth it. You may think this review is too good to be true and that Im a professional writer, thank you for that ;), but that is not the case. First of all I barely passed freshman English, and most importantly Im just a dude that loves these bikes. Have fun out there.

We had a very good experience as my wife just had knee surgery and wanted an electric bike to ride around and do the hill in PV. The bike that was suggested for her was excellent and we had a great day. Great service and great bikes, what more could you ask for?

I have been to pedego stores all over the USA...this is by far the worst store you could go to....mechanic would not take 1 min. For me to show him my brake was sticking, sales lady could not speak English....

Great service excellent prices

We got here at 4:30 and they didnt want to rent my family and i a bike, even though we offered to pay the minimum time of 2 hours and have the bike back in an hour. The lady hesitated at first because that deal made sense. But then the husband came out loudly yelling that no, this was their policy. Seemed like a lazy dealership with more bikes than customers.

A really absolutely likeable Asian couple rents these bikes.Despite our language problems, we talked really nice and the lady drove with us even the first few meters to the beach and has explained the way exactly.We decided to do without electric bikes and decided to buy two normal bikes for $ 25 a day per bike. An absolutely fair price. I do not think that it will be cheaper elsewhere!The bikes were easy but in good condition. And there was also a basket and two locks.
