I purchased a new flow master exhaust kit and Michael and the team installed it. The pipes arrived bent and Micheal installed, corrected and fitter everything. I couldn’t have done it myself. Quick, responsive and installed the system perfectly. It runs awesome and I couldn’t be happier. I had also taken a prior vehicle here for exhaust and the outcome was the same. They do excellent work here!

Took my car to Cars to repair my exhaust when I backed into a large rock. They were able to fix it even when my regular mechanic wanted me to take it to a body shop. Really grateful they were able to get it fixed quickly. Everyone at the shop was really friendly and competent. Ill definitely be back.

Received detailed report of repairs needed with supporting photographs. They quickly responded to questions regarding repairs and cost estimates. Repairs were done in the time frame stated which was fantastic. Staff was very friendly when dropping off and picking up my vehicle. I will definitely be coming back - but hopefully not anytime soon!

Heard about Cars from local RV owners who we asked for a recommendation. I met with Michael...told him what the issues were and he said they would run a 60 point check of the vehicle to see whats up. They ran the engine light diagnostic and found exhaust sensor issues. Re-ran the diagnostic and found that in addition there was an ignition coil issue. I appreciate the re-test to make sure it would run to its full ability again. AND IT DOES!They are straight forward...clear in what they will do for you...fair in their pricing (I guess for auto shops now)...and timely for sure.Good find for us. They also gave us recommendations for some inside the coach repairs I needed. Much appreciated.

Easy peasy Had a huge plate screwed on over my catalytic converter as the thieves are out to get them. It is not easy to find shooed to work on a 1964 Falcon but Cars works on any issue for any car. I took it to them for a melted speedometer cable I was told was related to the muffler location. cars said it wasn’t that and they replaced the cable and address a heat shield to the new cable. I asked them if they did electrical. Yes. They totally fixed my electrical related turn signal issues and realigned the wheels while realigning the steering wheel. Also adjusted the brakes and fixed a power steering hose and a few other items I was unaware of. All at what I felt was a very reasonable price. Plus all work guaranteed anywhere for 35 months! Great shop, great service and they do it all.

It’s rare, now a days, that you find any business, yet alone a mechanics shop, that is so honest, fair and upfront that you leave there almost wishing that you had more work to have done on your vehicle because you know that once they do the work, you won’t need to be concerned about that service to your vehicle until it naturally needs to be done. Wow... I would like to say THANK YOU for the service provided. This was my First Time visit at the worst time for repairs (Right Before Closing... LOL) Mike was so honest that I knew I had to test his honesty. Regretfully, due to my work schedule, I had to leave my vehicle overnight. The next day, they kept me updated with the progress with the repairs. When I came back to pick up my vehicle, I got more than I bargained for. Everyone that I had interaction with was genuine, professional, welcoming...

I needed to have a trailer hitch installed, and the manufacturer listed Cars Automotive & Muffler as a platinum level installer. I can understand why, because the shop is well organized, the staff is professional, and the installation quote/rate was very competitive. I highly recommend this shop.

Went here because my truck exhaust was too loud. I went to 2 other muffler shops before I can here. Both didnt understand what I wanted, one of them sold me a muffler that was still extremely loud, and the other offered me a muffler $100 over what Cars charged me. Their business is so professional, very friendly, and great prices. They literally do it all. Everything is so clean and organized there unlike many other mechanics. I feel like I walked out really well taken care of and that my truck was treated as if it were their own. Thanks yall!

Chad helped me with getting my oil changed and changing my rear breaks. Chad was very professional and eager to help me and the service was very quick.

I came in for a coolant check, as it spilled in my car. The anwer I got from them was “you need to change the whole thing” and it costed $160 just for their “diagnostic” check. Also realized my head light was broken after I took it out from the shop. They were so not nice when I called. Took it to the shop around the corner, got a much nicer attitude and costed so much less for him to check it and replace the light for me. Well, speaking of “taking advantage of those who in need in desperate situations”.

Got a smog check & received great service from great people & a welcoming atmosphere. Would recommend for everyone 👍🏼

This is an excellent, local family run auto service center. I went for a smog check (STAR) and an oil change after meeting the owners at a free catalytic converter etching event they hosted in Redondo Beach. Nice customer waiting room with hot drinks (Kurig coffee!) and snacks, and free WiFi. I was greeted by Dale when I pulled in, and he was my liaison for the entire visit, including telling me they noticed a nail in one rear tire. They offered to patch, but simply bumped up the air pressure when I told them I had a road hazard warranty with my tire store. A very comfortable, pleasant and professional repair shop! (P.S. my car passed smog).

The only mechanics I wholeheartedly trust in LA. Reasonably priced with honest, good work. I first came to them when Pep Boys pointed me in their direction to fix my muffler. And then, I found out they do just about everything! Their online booking is convenient. Theres a lovely waiting area. I recommended them to a friend and shes satisfied with their service too...and got me a lovely $25 discount for my referral. They dont try to force you to get any work done. My car needs work but on my recent visit I just wanted to focus on two main things. They honored my request and of course reminded me of all the other things that need to be fixed. I absolutely love this business as well as the employees! Especially Shirley! They are very upfront with cost and work that needs to be done, they even text you a link to pictures and notes of potential issues and general maintenance as well as when those services will be needed. My work has consistently came out to less than what we expected which is rare for any type of mechanic! They have also been working on my motorhome which many places can not or will not do. Everyone is so helpful and the owners even sent a thank you letter in the mail with an air freshener!

Very Polite and Friendly Staff, arrived 2 hours before closing time and was able to get in and have my res delete finished within 45 minutes. Staff who took after my vehicle seemed very professional and knowledgeable of what they are doing. Car sounds great, extremely happy with the work done. Also felt very safe, they have special ventilation systems inside the rooms and use proper sanitary procedures. 10/10 Will be coming back for future services.

They installed a Cat Clamp which protects the Catalytic Converter from being stolen. And they did a free multi point inspection. It needed a cracked belt to be replaced, which they did. Very clean and safe. When I got into the vehicle to take it home, there was a sticker on the steering wheel that said it had been cleaned and sanitized.

All of the employees at Cars were wonderful. Everything was explained and sent to me in detail with pictures.

Great place to get your car smog. They are extremely caution on safety and cleanliness during the pandemic. There are hand sanitizer everywhere and they even provide gloves for you to pick up water, coffee and snacks. Real professional and real safe. I have been taking my cars there for years! Highly recommended!!!

They found and fixed the problem with my Jeep. The ignition switch was broken. Starter - good, battery - new, charging system - good. Total mystery.

These guys are the best! I have been going to Cars for about a year and a half. They provide the highest quality of service with integrity. I took my van to two other shops for a repair, spent $1000, and still had the exact problem reoccur just days later while I was on a road trip. I got home and took it to Cars. Michael Identified the problem right away and had my van fixed the same day (on a Saturday) for $160 including hot chocolate and cookies. It was an outstanding experience! Highly Recommended!

I brought in my car with a replacement catalytic converter and Micheal made sure it was the right part for my car and made quick work replacing it. Also gave me driving instructions for resetting the car monitor on the freeway so I could return and pass smog later the same day. Great fast service, will definitely visit again.

I went in for a pre-car purchase diagnostic and they were so great the second I came in. They were thorough in describing the details of what needed to be fixed and addressed, explained everything to me, and were really personable and friendly. After their diagnostic I decided not to buy the car because I didnt want to invest in repairs for a car that was already above market value, but if I need service in the future I will definitely come back here for it! We’ve come here for routine and major services, the costs are explained and they send you a breakdown of what needs to be done, with pictures and videos showing you the recommended service.We have used other automotive shops, that may be a little cheaper in costs, when our budget was tight, but the service we received was very subpar and we didn’t trust the dependability of the repairs. All of our repairs at Cars Automotive have been reliable and we trust them explicitly with our vehicles. Their costs here are reasonable and honest and they won’t repair anything unnecessarily. They will always call you if they see an issue and discuss it before they make a repair. Not many places out there, especially automotive repair, that you can say you trust them in every way, this shop, we can say, we trust with all of our automotive needs. Try them and you will see customer service at its best.

We have a motorhome that needed wiring repair due to rodent damage. Shirlee was able to promptly get us in since we were leaving shortly on a trip. Michael and his team quickly diagnose the problem and repaired the wiring so we could continue our trip. Very courteous and professional. I would highly recommend them.

This shop saved my life! I wasnt able to get my wheel locks off of my car, and was advised by Pacific Tires down the street to see if they were able to get my wheel lock off safely.I am not too sure of the persons name that assisted me, but that person was such a great guy! As soon as I reached the shop, I explained to him the dilemma regarding my wheel lock being broken and requested for him to weld anything he had on him in order to remove the wheel lock off of my car.As soon as he heard the term weld he immediately advised that me that, this would be a TERRIBLE idea. I greatly appreciate him and the trustworthy team for advising me how my wheel being made of aluminum would essentially destroy my wheel if they tried welding anything onto the wheel lock. The mystery hero moved my car into the bay, and started finding ways to get the wheel lock off. He was finally able to hammer in a socket and remove the wheel lock for me.I greatly appreciate the teams help in getting the wheel lock off for me, and the biggest surprise to me was that they didnt want to even charge me.I would strongly advise everybody that is interested in looking for assistance with his or her vehicles in body/exhaust work to make the trip down to Car Muffler & Automotive for their needs. The team here is a great group of people, and I will definitely come back here again.

If its possible for an auto shop to be TOO attentive, then these guys are that shop. Even the mechanics seem happy and eager to help. Ill go back for sure.

Ive been using Cars Automotive since it was Cars Muffler in 1985 or so. They have always stood behind their work, and have done a great job. In this visit I suspected a worn wheel bearing in the back axle of my Jeep. They confirmed that both wheel bearings were headed south, provided pictures and overall did a great job getting the Jeep back on the road within a day.

Owners were great, very professional, and you could eat off of their floors. Top notch for sure, I would definitely recommend this place. Michael was awesome, very knowledgable guy. And the air freshner they provided upon check out will for sure make me remember them. I would give them 110% on customer service.

When you speak to anyone at this facility it is very reassuring. You can trust them do do what you want, to tell you what you need, and to be honest. I enjoy that confidence in everyone here
