My family and I have been coming to Precision Auto for several years. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff! They go over your car thoroughly and dependably. Highly recommended!

Bummed to write this, but I would NOT suggest Precision Automotive. The A/C in my car was busted so I took it in and they fixed it. 6 days later, the A/C busted again so I took it back. I was told that it was something completely different than the first time and it would need multiple part replacements costing $2200 total. I said thanks, but not worth it.I took my car to H Auto in Pomona because I have family that trust them. They fixed it for $150 and its been working perfectly ever since.So either I was the butt of a bad con job, or Precision was just wrong about what had to be done. Neither of those options are particularly pleasing.

I highly recommend Precision Automotive to anyone. Ive been going there for years for both routine maintenance and repairs, and Ive always found them to be fair and honest.Right now (Jan 2021) their hours are reduced to 8am-2pm, Mon-Fri, due to less driving during COVID, but I was still able to get a same-day appointment for an oil change.

Great guys, great service. And theyve given me some good advice over the years. From the looks of things, Chet and Cesar know their way around vintage autos, too. Thanks fellers.

This place charges $135.00 to diagnose a problem that is given to them. The AC was blowing hot air, pretty straight forward!! They wanted to charge me almost $1,400 to replace the compressor and dryer. These parts cost me or anyone to buy $400.00. They mark up their parts 150%. Stay away! Also they dont put the 135.00 towards the cost if you have them do the work. Unheard of!!!

Been taking my cars here for years, its a clean shop and has exceptional customer service. For repairs that require more than one day to repair, Ive spoken to several happy customers that dropped their car off at Precision Automotive, and Precision Automotive drove the customer back to the customers home! Some were lucky enough to ride in a 1977 Red Corvette that Precision Automotive professionally restored themselves! This shop has character and superior service to go with it. Even if you are not in the Redondo Beach area, this is worth the commute because I know that I can trust them in taking care of my car.Thanks!

On a lazy Saturday in Redondo Beach, I opened my mail to find a coupon for a discounted oil change. So I said, lets support the local business instead of going to the big chain. So I drove down to Precision. Already a dangerous quick turn coming right off of Aviation curve doing 4o mph, and with two car seats in the back, not one I like to do.I walk into the showroom and find 2 reps busy doing paperwork. So its no biggie I will wait until they address me. 1 minute goes by. Two minutes go by. Three minutes, not even a simple. Please give me a minute and I will be right with you. Not even a hello.In 2010, I would expect that customer service would be at a premium, but at this place, not even a hello. Why would I spend my good money at a place where I was not even wanted? Well, I did not. I ended up at one of the Big Chains, got in and out in 15 minutes, with my windows washed and car vacuumed. You get what you pay for!

I had them check a noise my car was making and they wanted to charge a hundred and fifteen bucks just to check it. They saw that the windshield washer fluid was low and they didnt even bother to fill it up. the only reason that I gave them two stars was because they only charged me half an hour for labor instead of an hour after I mentioned the price.

Called for a quote on a starter replacement and they wanted $190 for the same stock starter that D.B. electrical sells for $47 shipped....... and another ~$130 in labor which would have been acceptable if the starter wasn’t so overpriced.

Great service! My last mechanic wanted to charge me $ 800 to repair my Honda Element. I took it to Chet at Precision Auto and spent $120This guy knows cars and I never feel like Im getting taken to the cleaners like when you go to a dealership. Im on a limited budget and have older cars that need some work on them. Chet always lets me know what is a priority and what I can wait on.Usually pretty busy in there! Must be a reason! I highly recommend.

They did some work on my 71 Camaro and everything came out great. I tend to do all the work on my car myself but there are certainly things that i will be letting them take care of in the future.

I would recommend this place to anyone in need of a good mechanic and fair prices. The work is done right and they know what they are doing, thats how you become AAA approved. Repair time may be longer than other places, but from my experience here, its worth the extra time, parts are guaranteed for longer milage and months than other places. I would call ahead to check availability, like said before, you have to be doing something right if youre continously busy. Thumbs up guys

They were going to charge me $100 to just diagnose the reason for a Check Engine light! (Repair would be extra). On top of that, I waited unnecessarily for 1 hour.Im so happy I ran out of there. Turns out it was just a gas cap not tightened properly, diagnosed at Performance Service, nearby, on Artesia Blvd. They charged me $0 in the end.Be informed - any mechanic who charges you anything to diagnose a problem or look under the hood is a crook. Stay away from Precision Automotive!

Unfortunate events lead me to this shop but my unusual circumstances were easily taken care of. Ive never met a nicer shop in my life, Cesar is a lifesaver and far and away the nicest guy.

I have used their service for many years and I am completely satisfied with the service I receive. They used to be about a mile from my house but they have moved and now they are much further away. However I am more than willing to drive the extra distance to do business with people I trust.

I was recommender to this shop by AAA when my car broke down not far from it. Left my car on a Wednesday and they never contacted me with an update I called them on Thursday afternoon, they told me that they did not know what was wrong and would need to take the engine covers off I said fine. 2more days past by and did not get a call from them I finally call them on Monday and they tell me that I needed a new engine and they would be glad to do it for 7k. I said no way you guys have not even called me and thats when he said he had left me a message which he did not and continue to say that he must of missed dialed, He missed dial 5 times which he said he called me. I told him that I would pick my car up today with a tow truck. Got to Precision and my car was still in pieces they asked me to wait a couple of hours while they put it together, this whole time the tow truck guy is waiting so I said no I will take it how it is I told you that I was going to pick it up. I was charged 250 dollars for them to take my car apart if I wanted to take it out their shop. Cesar Gomez is a rip off. Wish I had the option of putting no stars.
