Very friendly staff. Im always greeted when I walk in, and they offer me help without being overbearing. The service is exactly what I want from a hardware store.

This shop might be small, but their service is far superior than going to a big Home Depot. And they dont act like I should know everything and like they dont wamt to explain anything to me. Even though they didnt have the crazy scooter battery I needed the employee went on their personal phone to find out if any company had it! Another employee reminded me I needed to other things and even took apart a water spigot to show me where I needed to put a new washer in.

Amazing little hardware store. You walk in, state your problem, help comes from the back and gets you what you need with a smile. I am always doing repairs on my daughters 1957-built home and this store has me in and out with the right parts in under 5 minutes. Amazing.

While its commonly known that small stores are generally more expensive than big box stores, what often isnt known is that these little stores hold gems you cant find in those big stores. This is my go-to place for odd, obscure hardware. Odd screws, bolts, bushings, etc., still exist here that cant be found in the big stores. And also, unlike those big stores where you can never find someone when you need some help, its not uncommon to be asked 4 or 5 times while here if you need assistance.

It may seem small but theres goods from floor to ceiling. Very friendly and helpful. Parking lot is convenient.

Ive lived in Redding for more than 20 years and I think that this is the first time Ive been in this store. Sorry that I waited so long! I went in for an item that if I ordered online, I would have to order 6 of them. I only need 1! The gentleman that helped me offered to bring 6 into the store if I bought 1. Very nice of him since they didnt normally carry this item.Customer service above and beyond the norm for this day and age!

While parking isnt great, the store associates are helpful, and it is generally bursting at the seams with stock.If you call ahead, they will verify stock for you, which is handy.

We are in and out of this ace hardware a lot, always some there we need. They have a lot of stuff in that store, you would be surprised. I would way rather go there then the big box stores. Everyone there is really knowledgeable and very helpful. Also they arent really that much more monny then the big stores.

Had what I needed.

Even in the storm when they had no power they opened up to help out our community. I have missed stores that felt like family and this one certainly does. Not too mention they have always gone above and beyond for me when I go in there. Genuinely the best store in Redding in my opinion.

This place is awesome for anyone looking for hardware. This place stocks many items of old that others dont stock.

Usually my go-to place for hardware, plumbing, and paint, they have a good selection of General Hardware. The store is a bit crowded, but the staff is relatively knowledgeable about their products and are always willing to help. It is a bigger store than you think because they have a lot of product in the back.

I always shop the ace hardware stores. They have a better section of nut,bolts, fittings, PVC, than the big box stores. I do contacting work and they have a great selection of what I need to complete the job.

Great store for do it yourself folks. Well stocked with just about anything youd need plus knowledgeable, friendly staff readily available to help you. I would much rather shop here than Lowes or Home Depot.

Dont rent carpet shampooer from this place it was old and busted didnt clean my carpet and when I addressed my complaints with the store clerk I was treated with disrespect I got my deposit but would of liked to have used a different shampooer because the first one didnt work it leaked dirty water out the sides and made even more of a mess then what I started with

This is the kind of hardware store that I remembered from my youth. Small but packed to the roof with everything imaginable and staffed with friendly men in red vests who are there to help you find just what you are looking for. This trip I needed a hummingbird feeder; a power strip; a bottle of Goo-Gone; and some Armor-all. They had it all and at decent prices.

Good place to get help and advice if you live in a really old house.
