Possibly the best customer service Ive had in years. I had a large order to fill for work and the sales rep, Jim, was knowledgeable about all the questions I had, ķnew exactly where all the items were, and he helped me load my items into my cart. This store had everything I needed and I didnt have to drive around from store to store and mess with the box stores. After I purchased my items two other friendly sales reps helped me load my items into my car. I wish we had customer service like this in my hometown. ACE really is THE PLACE! Every single time we go into Ace Hardware there is someone greeting us and employees always asking if we need help finding items. We prefer this Ace over any of the big box stores. Also they are locally owned!

Unequivocally the best service in town! was on a project this weekend and had to go to multiple places to get what I needed. Drove away from Ace hardware thinking to myself, why dont I come here every time? They not only had what I needed on a Saturday and a Sunday but there is almost always somebody available to answer questions and theyre happy to do it without acting frustrated that you need help. Signed up for an account and also happy to know that its local ownership not a national chain. Glad to support local jobs and local businesses.

My favorite hardware. Everyone knows where stuff is and theres always someone who can help with how to use whatever it is. Lots of useful advice from folks whove done the work; unlike a certain depot..

Bought a 12v fan here. The little thing still works. Considering what we as consumers have to deal with when we wanna spend some hard earned monies. It doesnt get as much business as it should. It does compete on Hartnell. Wicked huge selection considering the size of the building. Ladies in the front are awesome 😎

I love shopping here. They have every screw, nail, washer, drill bit, glue, grass seed, HVAC filters, etc. And they are so great to my dog.

I needed an Allen plug which the furnace shop said would be very difficult to find.I immediately thought of Ace and not the big box stores because experience says Ace will have those hard-to-find pieces the other stores dont carry. Everything you need just alittle pricey

Sometimes I feel like this place is my 2nd home as I feel like I am here so much! Lol The gentleman in the paint department has a great sense of humour and will keep you entertained while you wait for your paint to be ready. The girls at the front counter are always eager and willing to help you in anyway that they can even when you are returning something. Great customer service at this store.

I came in on Friday November 13th in the mid afternoon. Plenty of staff, 5 at the front door and 4 more down the isle by what must be the backroom/ breakroom(?).I literally had to excuse myself to get between 3 employees to the paint supply isle.Not a single one of the 9 employees greeted me or asked in they could help me.I hemhawed looking for what my husband sent me for and muddled through without help.Staff there used to be awesome! Now not so much. I have zero confidence that when someone DOES offer me help that they know what they are talking about.Ive been very disappointed lately.

Shop there. It feels like the last mom and pop shop left.

Whenever I go to this store there are always friendly staff available to help me find things and explain how to fix things in the home. They give you the small town hospitality that I wish was around more. People just being nice to eachother and saying hello. You dont get that anymore these days. I would highly recommend this store for anything you need for your home. They are helpful, friendly, and make you feel welcomed.

I went in to get some sayings to fix project Im working on and it wasnt sure what I needed. The guys there help me out and gave me all the information I needed to finish this project. They definitely know their stuff and focus on customer service. If you find yourself in a situation where you need a little bit of help or direction, definitely check these guys out.

I can always find someone to answer my questions or point me in the right direction which is different from my experiences at the big box stores. And prices are always comparable.

I just love this store! So incredibly helpful and they seem to have everything I need.

Had to get some 1/8 inch x 1 1/2 inch rolled tension pins and square keys to get my sewer machine back up . Had it all in stock in hardware section. Grabbed a few other little tools also needed.

For all the savings and variety you get at big box home improvement centers you just cant beat Ace Hardware for, well... hardware! I cant tell you how many times I need a fastener or specialty item and cant find it at the big box stores, but its a 5 minute stop at Ace. Also, the people who work there are likely to have been there for years so theyre more likely to know what/where to find what you need. Lumber, sheetrock? Big box stores. Hardware? Ace, every time!

They were the only place in town that had the key I needed copied. Everyone in this location is very nice and helpful! I will definitely come back and recommend.

Id much rather go to these little guys than the big guys where you cant find anybody to help you and it takes you an hour to find what you looking for ace usually has what I need

Such a helpful little hardware store with so much more inside than you would think. This place is always my first choice for any home and hardware needs.

Theres several different Ace Hardware in Redding.and in the surrounding areas and they definitely earn 5 stars because you can find basically anything you need in an Ace Hardware.They tend to be a little bit more than Lowes or Home Depot on the prices ....but for just running down the street real fast Ace cant beat it.Youre generally in and out in a Flash !and thats why you pay that littlebit more......for the convenience .theyre kind of the convenience storeof bolts and sandpaper.So definitely dont be shy when you needa 9 mm socketor sandpaper or that bolt that you lost in your project somewhere .definitely go to your Ace Hardware and snatch up those things you need .theyre always right around the corner. . .

I needed to buy a few things and these folks were extremely helpful. Not only did they help me find the items I was looking for but provided information and helpful tips as well. The service was very friendly and professional and they are pet friendly especially for service dogs.

I love getting stainless steel bolts, nuts, specialty hardware. They have everything, things you wouldnt think they have. great for if youre building custom Harleys, hot rods etc.

I come here to pickup items I need when I am working for my step-daughter at her shop. They usually have what I am looking for, and its easier to navigate the store than the big home improvement stores.

Been buying most of my project materials from them for over 20 years as I work and live less than a half mile away. They have a pretty decent selection and competitive pricing. They sometimes fall short in one critical area over other local businesses and that is often times they neglect to thank their customer after their purchase. Its such a simple thing to do and it kinda bothers me me when they dont say thank you. Other than that its a great place to shop.
