Just had my first Sweetspot meal, and it was amazing! The rice bowl had so much flavor and the chicken was so tender. Also had the diva cupcake, and it was perfect. This has definitely become one of my new favorite spots!

If you like ramen...tender, fresh dumplings ...broth so savory and tasty...cupcakes and gelato...absolutely delicious. The menu is short and perfect. Atmosphere is very mellow. Place is SO CLEAN...get ready. You go once, youll go back..the next day!

Wow! I am blown away by how fantastic our ramen was, much better than it has any right to be. I heard that this place was good, but wow, it was exceptional. The pork ramen was top tier and the chicken was no slouch either. Highly recommend sweet spot if you have a hankering for some delicious ramen in Redding.

4 cupcakes and a medium Gelato. $28 a medium Gelato is equivalent to a coffee cup. The recipe for the cupcakes is different that it used to be and not nearly as good. Even if they tasted the same I would not go back for little $5 a piece cupcakes.

Oh my God! This place is awesome. Not only do they have sweets... but they have Ramen noodles with dumpling, pork bellie and pulled pork! New favorite spot when coming up here!

I cant tell you enough about this place. The quality and quantity is equal, their prices are low for what they offer. Everything is made in shop, the baked goods, the confections, the gelato, they do it all, AND IT IS AMAZING.You would expect a place like this to be snooty, but theyre extremely humble, so kind, very professional, and just the most amazing people. I adore this place. I can attribute a fair bit of weight gain and gym visits to it, but it is so worth it. Until youve tasted their snickerdoodle cookie sandwich or their Diva cupcake you havent lived. Of all the places in the world, I never expected to find THIS HIGH QUALITY A PLACE IN REDDING! REDDING! Most people have never heard of this city! If for nothing else, when you see this review, if you are on a road trip, visiting, stuck in town, live here, moving here, or just looking for something to try, THIS PLACE IS A MUST TRY! More than just sweets, they have a good lunch menu as well. I think theyre open for dinner at times but youll have to check the menus out I posted. I know everybody raves about their ramen as well as their sandwich delicacies. Yes theyre sweets are good, and their service is excellent too. Give him a try!

The most underrated food in all of Redding! The rice bowl, garlic fried rice, and the pork belly ramen absolutely 🔥🔥🔥 The sweets here are great but the food is even better! You have to try it all, amazing stuff. Fresh, flavorful and delicious!

Best cupcakes good prices for the high quality they are mmm

I was charged $7 for the Strawberry Cheesecake to go, in the receipt stated mason jar to-go but there wasn’t a mason jar. It was a disposable plastic cup with lid. The charge was not correct and overpriced. The guava strawberry ice cream was good so I gave 2 stars.

This place is amazing! I had the Chicken Shoyu Ramen (with level 3 spicy 🔥) and it was so good! Ive been to this place multiple times and each time they do a fantastic job. Service is quick even when there are a lot of people, staff are super friendly, and the place is clean. Outside tables are a little sticky (not because of dirtiness though) just how they are. Ice cream is also amazing!

This place was so good! I ate everything I ordered so fast I forgot to take a picture lol! We got ramen, and dumping soup. Everything was really good. With those two items we got we paid close to $30 which is a little pricey, but I understand the quality food costs more. The worker also did not tell me that adding dumplings to the ramen was a $5 upcharge. The broth also seemed to lack a little flavor, and the only way to change that was to add spicy sauce to it...We then got dessert, and the gelato was good. The cereal milk flavor was my favorite, but both waffle sundae and orange creamsicle were good too! We also ordered a peanut butter brownie, which was also delicious, but just a tad bit hard in texture.Overall, a really good restaurant and will be coming back!!

I tried this place last night for the very first time. My experience was amazing! As soon as I walked in I smelled something magical. Very friendly atmosphere as well as staff. I ordered the marinated chicken bowl and the dumpling bowl. Needless to say I ate both of them, down to the last drop, they were that good! Ramen was tasty if not slightly inauthentic with spiraled carrots and corn in the dish. Still delicious. Didnt realize they had baked goods until we showed up and so we snagged. A couple cupcakes for good measure which were as good as the ramen was.

What is this business? I used to buy cupcakes here but the menu is inconsistent, no one knows what cupcakes will be available, they never make enough, in general not a good experience. I love the Irish cupcake, we ask if they will be making them, told no by the worker - who actually said they no longer purchase the ingredients so it will never be on the menu then the NEXT DAY I see an advertisement for their Irish cupcakes for St Patricks day. I try to buy some, but they didnt make enough and were sold out long before noon. I was told they are possibly making another batch but dont allow you to purchase ahead of time because no one knows when the baker will come in or how many will be made and that is all assuming the Irish cupcakes will be made as it is entirely up to the baker. Its an odd way to do business. As a customer I wont take time to go to this location when I can never count on the menu. They need to change the name to the Ramen Spot as that is clearly their primary focus. UPDATE: Thank you for the comment back. It actually helped me want to come back in. I appreciate the fact that you care enough to make things better.

My daughter LOVED the chocolate cupcake. My husband had the bread pudding and it was amazing! I really liked the chicken noodle bowl, very tasty. Pork wasnt as flavorful, but overall food was great!

This place is awesome. They have a wide variety of goodies to chose from. I highly recommend their Lemon & Rosemary cookies, they are delicious. Their tiramisu is another of my favorites. I also buy a breakfast burrito or two when I go and I have breakfast for the next couple days. The staff is always very nice and helpful. Havent found anything that I didnt like here at Sweetspot.

My daughter had a blast eating her cupcake and drawing on the walls of chalkboard.I give it 4 out of 5 stars because I have only tried their cupcakes and Gelatin. When I try out their new extended menu I will review again.

First time here. Decent cupcake. Customer service could use some work. Young lady helping us was in an extreme rush and had asked us more than 5 times in just a few short moments. I had a 4 year old an almost 6 year old, my self and another adult ordering. There was NO ONE in line behind us and several employees working.

Really not great strawberry cheesecake would have been great plain tbh, butterscotch Carmel brownie was meh, not impressed with the lemon rosemary cookie, when we got home we were shorted a sugar cookie (not sure if we paid for it because we were not given a receipt) and we spent about $40 and couldnt pay with a $50 bill🥴🤨 the guy who waited on us was very nice though but I dont think we will be back anytime soon.

If youre looking for a delicious and well priced dessert Sweetspot is the place to go! The desserts are far better then anything youll buy in the store, and less money. Their individual cheesecakes are amazing, and a personal favorite of mine is their lemon rosemary cookie. The coffee is also fantastic. I highly recommend this cute restaurant.

Oh man this place is amaze balls! We were camping by lake Shasta and this place was definitely worth the 30 minute trek. They had all kinds of home made Gelatos and pastries, as well as coffee and beer and wine. The staff was super helpful and pleasant. We had the unicorn poop ice cream which was amazing and a diva cup cake which was a must get. We will definitely be back!

The food is decent, sometimes good. The cupcakes are pretty good, but not amazing, and extremely overpriced. The gelato is average. The thing that I really dont like about this place is there poor customer service. Most of the employees are not very friendly, always in a hurry, and very inattentive. They really could do a lot to improve their customer service, and its sad because theyre probably losing a lot of repeat business.

This place is incredible! I go there whenever I can and enjoy it immensely! The gelato is the stuff of legends and the pastries are delicious! The food isnt too expensive, except for the meals, which, given the good quality of the ingredients, are not too pricey.

The cafe is incredibly quant. Has a back room great for a gathering of 6 or so. Not incredibly busy when I visited so from my experience you will have a pretty quiet place to chill.

I would say the cupcakes are pretty decent but overpriced. Anyhow, that didn’t bother me. The reason why I’m giving them 1 star is because employees go handle transactions and then come back to serve another customer without proper hand hygiene nor did they wear disposable gloves. Both times I’ve been there, the employee’s hand was in direct contact with the cupcakes as they were getting them for me and kind of altered the toppings on the top. That’s quite unsanitary, don’t you think because I don’t know where that hand has been in addition to handling money at the register.

This place is truly amazing. I am normally picky on cupcakes because my mom is a good baker so I only enjoy hers but my friend brought three different flavors in for school and the red velvet was amazing I encourage everyone to go there its pretty good

I wish they had a larger selection. I went in for cupcakes and coffee. I had the Diva cupcake, and didnt care much for it. Very pretty..but Im not a huge fan of caramel in cake. So dont necessarily take my word for it. The staff was... uncomfortable. That would be my best choice of word for it. The woman making the coffee was incredibly sweet and helpful, but other than her..meh.

This is a delightful place with THE BEST RAMEN EVER !! You can customise it and choose your spice level.We come here a lot and in the winter time we come for Ramen again and again.The crew is so friendly and awesome. The gelato icecream flavors are unique and taste very authentic.Really a work of art.

Where to begin... The service is great, and the bartender Allen is always on top of things, making excellent reccomendations, describing what he does recommend just in case it doesnt sound good. The gelato, and baked goods are tasty and quite a treat. Whereas, if you want something savory, and dare I say, spicy. Their ramen is top of the line for Redding. They have three levels of spicy for the menu, and for those who are spice fiends they have a level 4 and 5. I always get level 5, and am quite impressed with the service from all their employees. I have never had a bad excperience in the numerous times I have come here. The staff is friendly, the food is quality, and the deserts are very well made. There is also a wide variety of drink choices (beers, wines, and champagnes. No hard liquor.) It is certainly worth a visit, and everyone I have taken here, or recommended it to, has been ecstatic about going again.

Traveling from Phx. to Seattle we stopped by this little place to grab a snack. I bought an Almond Croissant, than jumped in the car and got back on the road. It was the best almond croissant I think Ive ever had, wish I would have tasted it before I left because I would have bought more.

Why Redding Reviews and Best Of The North State Loves SweetspotHad the lemon cheese cake in a jar. I know this is mute due to the fact it is right after Christmas. But have to say, this is the best lemon cheese cake I have ever had ... period!The decor at Sweetspot is warm and welcoming and very comfortable. There is an extended room to the right when you walk in where you can set at a bar or table. The couch they have in this extended room adds to the lounge ambiance for sure.One of the great features, it has a door that adjoins the Asian restaurant next door. So after eating there you can just come into Sweetspot and have your sugar fix.This is one of my secret getaways to rest and relax my mind after a busy day.
