Got overcharged, by a lot! And when I had to bring back the car for the same problem, got charged again and they didnt even do anything to it the 2nd time. Definitely wouldnt go back and would reccomend to call around and find somehwere else to go for a better experience.

Im not here to sell you on anything this is simply my personal experience. I took my truck down to a major shop in town, My ac wasnt working. They checked it out, said it was going to need a new control module. Its a spendy fix on my truck, the entire dash needs to come off. I decided to wait. A few months later I was ready to get the job done. I heard about Strong Automotive through my family friends. I decided to give his shop a try after reading awesome reviews. He found the problem before I got to my lunch break. He fixed my truck for $1300 less then what the dealer had quoted me on. What I got from our conversation was that the parts they wanted to fix werent related to my ac problem. Its difficult to find an honest mechanic, but I believe i finally have. Just saying thanks to the guys at strong for keeping it real and being honest.

Didnt have an appointment, received a call from Mike in a couple hours later to tell me what was wrong with it. Was told it would be done by a certain day and it was. The best part about my whole experience with mike is. I got the car home and noticed it leaking radiator fluid. Called the next day, received a call 10 min later but missed it. Received a call the next two days but didnt concern me the car quit leaking fluid. Called back mike told me bring the car in I want to make sure nothing is wrong. I was referred to Strong Automotive by a friend who told me they were great. They were amazing! Mike, the owner, went above and beyond. I had a gas leak in my truck. My fuel pump was busted. After it was repaired (within a few hours) Mike took my truck to the car wash to have them spray the gas out underneath my truck to keep me safe! While doing so, the car wash broke one of my windshield wipers and so he put new ones on at his shop for no charge. I have not had the greatest experience with mechanics in the past, who claimed to do work they didnt do. I could tell they did the job because there is no more smell of gas and I can tell my truck is running so much smoother and it starts quicker. Strong Automotive is highly recommended!!! Thank you for being awesome and caring, not only about the job, but also your customers safety!

I called Mike yesterday when my car started overheating on the way to work. He let me know he didnt have any openings but if I could drop it off he would try and take a look at between appointments. I received a call a few hours later letting me know that they had found the problem and would be able to fix it that day. I showed up around 5pm and the crew was still hard at work making sure I would be able to take my car home. I would highly recommend Strong Automotive. They worked me in for an ac recharge near the end of the day at a super reasonable rate and we discussed a problem with my other vehicle. He let me know that its probably a problem with my tires that I can get fixed for free from my tire suppliers instead of charging me a bunch of diagnostic fees. Also they gave me a soda while I waited. Im very impressed. I like these guys.

Mike recently repaired our Cat & Power Steering Pump... after was all fixed up the alternator pooped out (was under warranty) he was able to get it switched and and didnt charge us to install it even though the warranty was with someone else. Im pretty picky about where I bring my car to but this place was suggested by a previous owner of a auto shop. It turned out to be a great shop. The staff were really helpful and willing to work with you, and there honest about what you need and what you dont need. Great people!

Excellent service and honest work! Mike Strong and his guys are so friendly and go out of their way to help. One time the brakes were going out on our Mini Cooper, and i showed up at 3:15 pm to see how soon Mike could do the job, like maybe the next day possibly. He took the car in right away and called me at 5:15 pm, 2 hours later and said Come pick it up, its ready. What service! Mike is honest and knows cars inside out. Mike and Stephanie are AWESOME!!! My car broke down on I-5 after I took it to the asshats at Meineke for a routine oil change. Apparently they forgot to put the oil cap back on, and they also forgot to repkace the airfilter back after removing it. Oil was EVERYWHERE...under the hood, exterior, and under the car. Mike and Stephanie hooked me up and got me back on the road within an hour. Mike is a super professional mechanic who knows his stuff, and Stephanie is as sweet as pie. These guys diagnose my issue super quick and got me in same day. Im not sure is I can recommend these guys though. Stephanie in the office is absolutely fantastic and the mechanic was really good at what he does. I just have one downside about this shop and I truly feel disrespected. I’m just gonna say I would rather of them charged me $50 more per hour for labor, than to charge me $490 for a $190 part. I had got the part number from the employee so I can do some research on it later and come to find out the Napa in Redding which is where they get their parts from, was going to sell it to me for $190. That kinda hurts considering I had to do their finance plan through a company they use which is 180% APR. So a fuel pump and fuel filter replacement cost me $926 BEFORE all the interest in a 2003 gmc Yukon. Thank god im going to pay it off early so I don’t collect Interest. Sucks feeling like they took advantage of me but I get it. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

These guys are the best!!!! They have helped me with finding a difficult problem with my Ford Ranger!!! They have put in many hours trying to get to the bottom of the issue with my truck and have not charged for all the time spent!!!! You WILL NOT find a better or trust worthy mechanic!!!!!!!!!

I went into Strong Auotomotive to diagnose a check engine light. I was helped by one of there mechanics who concluded I had a bad Mass Air Flow sensor. I paid 95 dollars for the diagnosis. Out of curiosity I asked how much it would be to replace it (mind you its 2 screws on top of the engine). He said its 2 screws so I wouldnt charge you for labor. He then advised me the only napa auto parts store that had my MAF sensor was in Redbluff. I asked if he could just grab one from oriellys or autozone. The Owner/his boss was just arriving so he told me he would talk with him. The owner then came in and had a conversation with me. The owner gave me a quote for a 95 dollars in labor (they were just adding the installation in with the diagnostic) and 195 dollars for a MAF sensor. He again advised me the only napa that had my part was in Redbluff. I told him that I would just go grab it from Redbluff. His response was no you cant it HAS to go threw these chanels. I told him I would just replace it myself. He said ok. Emediatly after leaving I called the napa in Redbluff and they said they had a MAF sensor for 120 dollars!!!!!! So either the OWNER was trying hide the labor in with the parts cost or they over charge for parts. Either way it is a VERY shady thing to do and I dont advise you or anyone to give them your business. I ended up getting my MAF sensor for 83 dollars at oriellys.

I took my car there to have them find a ac leak in my car and he had it for 7 hours and didnt charge me because he couldnt find the leak,I tried to give him a 100 and he wouldnt take it, the guy is really honorable and honest!!!!!!
