I had a problems with my brakes on my GMC. these people did a great Job fixing them and did so at a very reasonable cost. I am going back to them to repair the alternator on my Honda Odyssey. They do excellent work in a timely manner and I have full confidence in them. I have already recommended them to two friends.

I needed them to resolve the fact that the check engine, 4WD, and traction lights remained lit. They temporarily resolved that issue and got the car to pass smog check. However, a few days later, the lights are back on. After spending almost 4 hours and 300 dollars, I kind of expected this to be resolved. There was no evidence of any mechanical issues to warrant these warning lights to remain lit.

Great place and fantastic people. They see what is wrong, and dont charge you for a y more. Had a air conditioner problem, was under 500 to fix. Went to a different place, before them. And they wanted over 1200.00, do do the work. We will be using Hutchins, from now on.

The best in town

This shop is one of the worst shops in Shasta County, I sent my car in to have Motor Mounts and a Catalytic Converter replaced. Two weeks after having the work done, my folks borrowed my car and three blocks from my house the rear portion of my A-Frame dropped out because one of their technicians didnt torque the bolts down properly and when informed about this Joe Hutchins the owner himmed and hawed trying to make up an excuse about the problem. However, they decided to replace the bolts and check the vehicle out but expected me to tow the car to them. I was out the car another week and I had to call to see if the car was ready which it was but had an excuse to why it took so long but as soon as I got about 2/10th of a mile the AMP light came on only to find out they never checked the vehicle and due to their negligence they also resulted in severe damage to the Transmission and bent my passenger drive axle. Dont ever send your vehicle to these scam artists theyll cause major damage to your vehicle, take your money and pretty much act like theyre not at fault.
