We usually love going to Best Buy but we got a car deck installed and it is so ghetto looking. There are huge gaps around it some bigger then others also broke the clip to our dash. Also none of the steering wheel buttons work now to control the volume and ect. We have a brand new boat that needs a system but now we know where not to go.

I searched for a tripod on their site and found the one that I wanted to buy. The great thing about brick and mortar stores is you can get what you want on the same day, if uts in stock. A few times lately I have found a retailers web site indicating the product was available for pick up only to be disappointed when I went to they store and found that the inventory info was in accurate. Not so with this Best Buy store. They had the item and I was in and out in a flash. Good on you Best Buy. Ill shop there again.

The staff has a very very basic knowledge of what they are selling... Dont go here looking for something high-end because they dont have it.Dont ask technically advanced questions because they dont know, and will attempt to downgrade you to something they kind of understand. However if you have a degree in electrical engineering or sound engineering feel free to go here for hours of entertainment... Ask them the difference between amps, watts, and ohms and how that applies to what they are selling... Its hysterical 😂 the term root mean square will stump pretty much anyone in this store.

Had to order an item, and needed to pick it up quick... ended up coming to pick up the online order probably 10min before closing.. as you could imagine no one really wanted to help out. Literally 2 guys went to the back to look and came back empty handed, well the 3rd guy who works there actually went to the back and returned with my item no questions, no problem and he was happy to step up and I didnt even have to ask him, I was just going to leave. Never got his name but dude was right on. I left happy

Very sad that the young man couldn’t even count back the correct change. Its only 1 dollar off but the correct change would have been $11.83 and he gave me back $10.83. Disappointed. Here is why your drawer count will be over $1.

Stood in line for a half an hour plus while understaffed employees gave telephone purchase and attention to two people only. The restless line continued to get longer and finally the manager came over and inquired if I was entered in their system ticket help que assist. I voiced a frustrated Noooo! He proceeded to ask the guy that came in after me first what he needed and he was entered and asked the others behind me and entered them. I asked him to enter me in the system, he angrily said he wasn’t going to enter me nor help me.. Best Buy please provide better customer service training here in Redding please. Red flag moment, hope that the manager can be trained properly, it will serve him, his staff and Best Buy customers in the future. Attention To the manager I did get your name, what you learn in good faith will serve you in your future.

Went on the website and found the single din stereo I wanted.There is a huge selection on line.But I was listening to a kenwood 50 watts per channel in a friends car it had so many options I couldnt believe it.So I went to the store to have them help me choose speakers to go with it.They suggested 6x8 kickers.It sounds better then the one my friend has wow

Never been with more incompetent people.Theyll sale you a product but know nothing about it. Asked how do I use this drone. Oh it costs you $50 dollars to explain there products by using the geek squad.Then they laughed at me for not being text savvy No class at all. Then they called the cops because I got frustrated with them.You ever tried to call them up and ask a question. Good luck with that. No service at all. Its better to buy your products on the internet from anyone else than Best Buy.If they had a Minus 10 Id give it to them

Went in 5 minutes before closing and was told by the young kid at Verizon that he was going to refuse to help me checking out. I just wanted to purchase a new screen cover and the transaction still would have put him out on time. Very rude, won’t be coming back. He had a smirky remark and “sorry to inconvenience you but I’m off work soon.”

Every time I go here the employees all of them act like they cant be bothered. We waited over 35 mins and still no help. One guy basically said well Im off. So we we will ordering online from now on.Way over priced found what we wanted cheaper and better than what they had. They act like they dont want your money. Ive really grown to hate best buy. Just had the possible worse customer service experience ever at this store...trying to by a new phone that they didnt have but had a promotion for it so I asked a few questions and the last response I recieved from the salesman was if your going to argue with me I am just not going to help you...and he laughed at my wife when she asked him a question about a rain check on the phones since they didnt have it. Another sales guy was standing there telling that the sell out of there phones everyday and since he works there everyday he knows. I would call bs on that. I dont care how much money I have to pay I wont buy another phone from this location, possibly not even at best buy again. It is too bad because I have always had a great experience.

I wound up trading my phone in and the girl, April, was so well educated on the subject, she made it amazingly easy to make the transition, clearly laying out all my options.And so I had another great experience at the Redding Best Buy and would highly recommend Robert Wagner

I shaved a star off because this location has a very low stock they seem to only care about cell phones and accessories. Multiple customers had questions from the lady in the computer department whom could not answer their questions and would have to look everything up on a computer, then still find no answer. She even sent customers away to come back on another day when someone else would be there. I was lucky enough to find a gentleman that works there by the name of Josh J. Josh was very helpful even though they did not have the item I needed on the floor he found it in the back when most other employees would have told me they did not have it in stock if it was not on the floor. Ive heard this excuse many of times. The store seems to be filled with a lot of young kids who do not know their job and kind of just walk around and have social time. The store has a lot more employees than it does customers yet it is hard to get help sometimes. Try calling, you will sit on hold longer than it takes to drive down there and get your answer. If I was judging this review just on Joshs performance it would definitely be a five-star joint. He saved the store from getting a lower review.

Wouldnt even give them a star if I could. Ordered a fridge from BB weeks ago. They just called me to tell me they cant ship it to me and will have to cancel my order. Weve had a broken fridge and have been waiting for this weekend for the new one and turns out, its not coming. Wasted time I could have spent ordering from someone who has one in stock. My in-laws had a similar experience. I will never order appliances from BB again.Pandemic or not, GET IT TOGETHER BB. Try and think about your customers who are awaiting these items and what you are putting them through. This isnt rocket science and it doesnt take a six sigma project to figure it out. Its unfortunate that you didnt know I wouldnt receive this product sooner and that you are calling me a couples days before delivery to tell me Im out of luck.The lady did ask if I needed anything else. I had to laugh and said NO THANK YOU! Youve done enough.Should be called Worst Buy or Best Bye!

Couldnt find me on the schedule for my stereo install but squeezed me in anyways. Even took some modifying to get my screen to flip up. Pretty awesome! Turned out fairly well. Wished my stereo could connect to my hotspot. I even changed what kind of bit options i had an still wouldnt populate. This wasnt bestbuy problem this stereo was bought off of wish. So it wasnt even usa ready and they went ahead in went beyond to do exactly what they said an swapped the plyg... way to much time for me to figure out on my own an not catch my new truck on fire. Great job on the evening crew..

So so after buying a tablet at another store and returning it because it wouldnt connect to Wi-Fi. I was planning on buying a tablet at Best Buy. But I requested that we open the box after I bought it. And try to connect to Wi-Fi to make sure it worked. I was told by three people that I would have to pay $25 to Geek Squad to make sure it worked. I guess they thought I was born yesterday ! So I decided not to buy it and Ill go someplace else. Because if you go on a car parking lot to buy a brand new. And they tell you that you have to have a mechanic look at it to make sure it runs. Dont walk but run from that place because theyre a bunch of crooks!

The staff we kind and helpful but I will say that they needed a few more employees on the floor to answer questions for customers. We waited in the computer address for around 15 minutes before someone was available to help us. The gentleman that helped us in the end was new but was very nice and helpful. He was able to find the product I wanted quickly after having to search around, due to having no display for it out at the time.

Bought a new set of car speakers and the salesclerk even made sure that it would fit my vehicle. I got it shipped to me and drove 45 minutes out of my way to get them installed (I live in rural Montana for college), got charged $160 for the mechanic to try and install them to basically tell me they don’t fit. Have been trying to call a sales representative to talk to for the past two days and absolutely no one has answered.

Best Buy often has the best prices when it comes to getting things on sale. That, and its basically one of the few options left when it comes to higher end electronics. I went to Best Buy to pick up an order I placed online. The store was pretty busy but there was a good number of associates on the floor and at various counters. Everyone wore masks. I was helped immediately and was out the door in about 20 minutes with my new phone fully setup with all my info transferred. This was in stark comparison to the Verizon store where you can only visit their store with an appointment and for only a few reasons, and buying a phone is not one of them (nor is exchangjng one you already bought). I will be buying my phones from Best Buy from now on. Great service, very informative and unlocked phones!

Bestbuy in town is a good place to go if you know what your looking and the folks at check out are amazing but if your looking for knowledge on the floor its better to do your research at home Ive heard I dont know more times than not. Not with heard quest thing like how will I hook up my TV or can I use an ethernet cable with this tv. Some times they try sometimes they go to find some usually not returning.
