Run away as fast as you can. We have a full Furnace and Central Air system under a 12 year warranty. Now having a crazy heat wave, bedrooms are upstairs and we have a 1 year old baby.He has been promising to fix our AC which keeps shutting off and requiring hours before it restarts, for 3 summers now and fails to come back and fix the issue.Each time he comes over and promises to fix it, it is when routine maintenance is due. He bills us but never comes back to fix the problem. Basically if you are paying for an install the service is great, same with routine service. But once it’s a warranty part that doesn’t make money he will ghost you.If you dig into reviews based on warranty past the initial install reviews, you will see this pattern. You can also see this feedback on the BBB though I generally take that site with a grain of salt.Now we are stuck with a baby having to suffer through a heatwave while we scramble to pay someone else to fix something that should be under warranty.I couldn’t leave a more negative review.

I was pleased with Ziemers creative problem-solving while updating my bathroom. They came up with a simple and elegant solution that was also an affordable way to go. I appreciate that they suggested the best option rather than what wouldve been more expensive and complicated.

John responded very quickly when I needed a quote on an Ac and a furnace. I used this service cause they were recommended to me by many people and so I finally decided to get an Ac unit in my trailer home and when I did that I had to get a new furnace cause the one I had was not working the best. John and Spencer did a very good job and he responded very quickly when I had questions about anything. Id definitely recommend them to anyone they are very reasonablely priced and are very nice people.

John was responded quickly when I contacted him to get an estimate for a new furnace and central air unit. We got estimates from 3 companies and Ziemer was by far the best deal.Once we decided on Ziemer and let him know his response was quick and installation happened within just a few days. John and Spencer were very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They cleaned our vents and duct work, removed the old furnace and central air, installed our new furnace and central air and double checked everything and showed us how it all worked. This was done over a two day period and very little was required from us.I was very comfortable with both gentleman and impressed with all parts of their service. I would highly recommend Ziemer Heating and Cooling to anyone that has HVAC issues.

John took time out of his weekend to come and check out why our carbon monoxide alarms had been going off and found it was something with our furnace. He was very thorough with his inspection, honest, and gave us our options. John was over Saturday morning to inspect our system, and back again as soon as early Monday morning with Spencer to install our furnace! John and Spencer did excellent work and are very kind people! They really value their work and the people they are working for. I would recommend them to anyone!

I had a very quick response from John, called him Monday morning, new furnace was installed & finished work on Wednesday morning. Very neat and tidy work from John and Spencer! I highly recommend them!

Ziemer Heating and Cooling is absolutely the best hands down. I have called John Ziemer for an emergency repair during the winter and he was here within 30 minutes, had me up and running right away. Service with a smile is true with this company. I recently replaced my 20 yr old furnace with a new energy efficient unit from Ziemers and I couldnt be happier. I would recommend this company to my own Mother they are that good.

He was everything you could ask for and more when it comes to a repair service etc. Beyond professional. Very rare to have a serviceman come to your house and an hour later realize your still talking and enjoying his company. Also was way cheaper then ANYONE around and does exactly what they would of done and replaced broken part with the same part they would of used. He’s been in business for 30 plus years for a reason! John and his team have consistently been trustworthy, accountable, and quick to respond. His services have been dependable and prices have been reasonable. Recently we had a complicated situation when we were selling our home and our 20-year-old furnace needed to be replaced. John was incredibly accommodating and flexible to help us make things happen. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, we didn’t have a good experience and never got our issue fixed with him. We had a furnace leaking gas so our warranty company called him out to look at it. He accepted the job. He came within a couple days and said he needed to order parts. We paid him our deposit money at that point. That’s where it started going bad. He gave the warranty company wrong part numbers and when they tried contacting him to resolve, he would take days to respond. They finally sorted out the correct parts to order (which took 2 weeks!). So, we called him once the parts arrived so he could come back and install the parts. Another 2 weeks of being “ghosted” with no communication from him. We called him every couple days and only got him 1 time on the phone. He said he didn’t want to make the drive to Lake City (a 20 minute drive) and would let us know when he would want to come out. He never called us back. The warranty company tried reaching out to him as well several times but he never responded. We went 4 weeks in the dead of winter without a working furnace because of this man. We ended up calling another company, and they came within a couple hours on the same day and installed the parts. We of course had to pay additional money out of pocket for the new company but it was well worth it. We got scammed and I hope he doesn’t do it to anyone else.

When our furnace went down in sub-freezing temperatures John wasted no time in getting us up and running. The fix was temporary until a new furnace arrived the following day which was installed the same day. The new furnace recommended by John is operating like a champ and because of its efficiency it will be saving us major dollars in energy cost plus a $300.00 rebate from Xcel Energy is a nice bonus. The only complaint I have is not with Ziemer Heating and Cooling but with the Home Warranty Company I had, Americas First Choice, which would only pay $150.00 towards a new furnace. I dropped them and demanded all monthly premiums be refunded and was refunded the next day. Highly recommend Ziemer and do not recommend a Home Warranty Company as they are all crooks.

Zimmer Heating and cooling is a great company to use. They stand behind the products they install for 12 years. It is nice to know you can call and Ziemer will show up and fix it quickly.
