Went here to get a mattress for my first apartment! It was my first time choosing my own, so I had no clue what I was doing. Thankfully Howard, the showroom manager, came over and asked what I needed. I told him I’m a broke college student looking for a cheaper mattress that is still comfy, and he immediately took me over to one of their brand’s mattresses. I fell in love with it immediately. It came with a waterproof cover and ten year warranty! I also got a student discount, which I didn’t realize they even offered. And to top it all off, I got free delivery since it was Memorial Day weekend. I really dreaded the process of getting a mattress, but Howard helped to make it a quick and easy process. The decision to go with his recommendation was a no-brainer, and we were out of there with the mattress ordered within half an hour. The night before the delivery, I got an email and text of the time estimate of the three hour window, then the next morning I got an email, text, and voicemail that they’d arrive in 15 minutes. They were even a few minutes early! Overall, Mattress Warehouse really impressed me with their professionalism, friendliness, knowledge-sharing, communication, and punctuality. High praises for this place. I genuinely don’t think I’ll go mattress shopping anywhere else!

Great experience and service shopping for a new mattress. Howard was able to walk my wife and I between a few different mattresses to compare and found the one that will work for us. Very professional service and he was able to answer all of our questions. Delivery service was great and professional. Mattress and box spring was delivered on time and I was impressed that I ever received a call to notify me that they would be arriving within 15 minutes which was able to cut down the standard several hour block time that most business do. As stated on their website delivery was free for the mattress since it was 699 or higher. It may not seem like much to deliver a mattress and box spring but the delivery service was not the standard drop off at your front door or garage. They go the extra few steps and take to where you want it, quick setup, and remove all of the packing.Shopping for a mattress is not something you do often but I would highly recommend Mattress Warehouse when you are ready.

My experience at the 5th St Hwy Mattress Warehouse location was excellent. The store was clean and I felt comfortable there during the pandemic. Masks were required. I was greeted by show room manager Howard who was extremely friendly, patient, knowledgeable and courteous. The process of looking for a mattress, which I have not done in over 15 years, was smooth and anxiety free. The delivery was quick and timely and I would recommend this to my friends and family.

I bought a mattress there from Howard who was a very good salesman not pushy very easy to talk with knowledgeable and helpful the mattress was delivered and there was a problem with the mattress so Howard arranged to have it sent back he went Above and Beyond in doing so we got the replacement mattress and the delivery company which was an independent contractor messed it up it wasnt particularly usable except in the very short-term Howard came in on his day off to get all this done he also came in before the store opened to get paperwork moving he got it replaced and the new mattress is great I really have to hand it to Howard he knows his job and make sure that you are well taken care of I would recommend dealing with Howard to anyone who has to go and buy a mattress I cant think of another salesman that I have met in the last 10 years they could even begin to compare with him all I know the experience was great in the store the delivery company which wont be delivering anymore Im pretty sure was the only holdup the product was good and when they got a different delivery company all went well I hope this helps any of you are looking for a mattress make up your mind as to where to go

This store is a little hard to find among the sea of mattress stores in the area, but it’s SO WORTH finding! Brilliant! Wife and myself were out looking for a new mattress which like most people we hate doing. We were doing the 5th St Highway run and were pretty much over it! First off I am not a person who is easily pleased. With that said I have been looking to replace my mattress for a few weeks and did a lot of research and pricing. I decided on a Sterns and Forster mattress and went to Mattress Warehouse on 5th street and met the manager Howard. He was fabulous. He explained the differences in the Sterns and Forster mattress I thought I wanted and took the time to explain the differences and after asking me about my sleep pattern and aches and pains he recommended slightly different feeling Sterns and Forster but at the same price point which I liked since he wanted to make sure I was happy without trying to sell me more then I wanted or needed.Howard was not the usual pushy salesman I had experienced in earlier mattress purchases.He actually wants you to be happy.Well I finally pulled the trigger and bought the mattress. The day of delivery I received a call from Mattress Warehouse saying the truck had broken down. My window for delivery was 12:30 to 3:30 . They were sending another truck to unload all deliveries and would get to me as soon as they could. At first I was not happy but the person who called apologized and then Howard also called and apologized and said they will get it delivered because I had taken off work. Well they showed up around 6 pm and the delivery team was fantastic. They both were quick, professional and cleaned everything up and took away all trash.Things happen but they communicated and really understand customer service.Thanks again to Howard who was fabulous and everyone at Mattress Warehouse for your great customer service .

We were in need of a new queen size box spring immediately due to an incident while we were moving house - it was faulty rope and not my son or husband’s lack of tying skills I’m told by both of them *cough yes, sure, cough*Howard the sales manager was able to get us a brand new one for $80 which was an awesome deal. Mitch, who Howard calls his stock guy extraordinaire, loaded it and tied it down securely to our vehicle allowing us to get it home without incident - they must have special rope there *looks at son and husband*.The service was awesome especially when you consider we were only spending $80 with them.I’m not surprised at how many positive reviews this store has as they really give 110% customer service from start to finish. Bad experiences in the beginning leads to world class delivery, customer service and pro-active management leadership in the end. While I could’ve blasted my experiences all over the place, my actions and words would have been reckless…and I’m glad I handed over my concerns to the Mattress Warehouse management team.They were equally disappointed and quite frankly embarrassed to hear my experiences. They shared my concerns all the way to the top and didn’t ignore the impact. They stepped up, took control of the situation, stood behind their values and brand and turned things around 180 degree. They recovered successfully and we were able to isolate this issue.Having purchased from them before and have a good experience I knew something was off and together, collectively, we made the customer loyalty and buying experience even stronger. We’re both better off for it. And when it comes time to buy again – I can rest assured Mattress Warehouse literally has my back.So a word to the wise, allow a company to advocate and consult with you and in the end you’ll be unimaginably surprised. Recently purchased three beds from Mattress Warehouse on the 5th Street Highway over a period of three months. Sales people knowledgeable, service excellent, and delivery on time. Best prices around town. When delivery personnel had a problem putting the adjustable bed inside the frame I had purchased, it was taken care of immediately. They phoned the district manager and he personally came to my home and solved the problem within two hours. Highly recommend!

First off don’t let this company’s name fool you! The “warehouse” part of the name conjured up images of a dank, dusty concrete floored building full of mattresses wrapped in plastic and piled high - THIS IS TOTALLY NOT THE CASE!! We were so pleasantly surprised when we walked in; the showroom is immaculate, the beds are beautifully displayed. They have a huge range from the budget conscious/friendly beds at the back through to stunning hand-crafted mattresses at the front. We were greeted by a gentleman by the name of Howard wearing a suit and a big smile. We explained we were doing some ground work as we are in the process of moving and don’t know what size we want and quite what we need until we find a house to buy. Howard was great. He gave us tons of information about different types of beds, told us what to avoid and why, used a diagnostic machine to find out which beds “fit” us best etc. He explained financing and that no matter where we end up moving to they can deliver there and coincide with our settlement day. We are still a while away from moving (hopefully not too far away) but when we find our place we are set as we’ve found our mattress store and mattress expert!

Got a great deal on a very comfortable mattress for our camper here. We were fortunate that we needed a standard queen size although Howard told us Mattress Warehouse can get custom sized ones too. Can’t wait for our next cross country adventure, I just hope we don’t sleep through it all lol.

Howard, the manager of this store, is awesome! His knowledge and attention to your needs and wants, rather than just chasing the sale and your money make shopping for a bed with his help really easy and enjoyable. Don’t do anything until you see Howard!!

It was time to replace our old bed. My chiropractor suggested we see Howard at this location as he had a diagnostic machine to help you determine what type of bed you ought to get if you have back or neck issues etc.Long story short we did and ended up getting the perfect bed, pillows, protector and last but not least a lifestyle base (I can raise the head, the feet and it has a zero g option that takes all the strain off my back) from Howard. We got a great deal on great products, the whole 9 yards and it has really made a difference with my back and my husband’s neck!Though don’t worry, we will still be going to our chiropractor, just we will be in less pain when we do and much more well rested!

We received the most wonderful service from a gentleman named Howard who is the manager of this store. It was actually a delight to shop for a mattress with Howard’s help, knowledge, guidance and LACK of pressure. We did the diagnostic test that narrowed down the selection for us based on our needs for support and pressure relief. Howard took us to each bed, gave us a basic overview, then encouraged us to lay on it for as long as we wanted. He’d excuse himself so as not to make us feel uncomfortable and so we could talk. As soon as we’d get up he’d stop his paperwork and come over, find out what we thought, answer any questions we had and ask if we’d like to try the next one the computer had recommended. It was such a pleasure to have a bed salesman be so laid back but totally engaged at the same time. I would’ve expected this more from a store in the ritzy neighborhood but apparently Howard and his classiness have been at the 5th St store for over 2 years now! Totally outstanding! My husband went in looking for a good, not great (or expensive) guest bedroom set. He dealt with the manager Howard and got great service and a great deal. Prior to our selected delivery day my husband mentioned that he’d been told the bed was available in different heights by Howard, but my husband had just chosen the regular height. I called the store and Howard answered. I asked him to check on our order to which Howard replied that he was “more than happy to”, but could I give him a minute to boot up his computer? It was at this point I realized it was 8:45 am and they don’t open until 10 am :P. I apologized for calling so early to Howard and he said it was “no worries at all”. He checked my order and then went and measured the height of the regular set and gave me the height of the low option as well as the regular set. This is better service out of hours than most companies give you during work hours!Howard is truly an asset to Mattress Warehouse and please see this as my nomination for Howard to be employee of the month if your company has such an award as he is very deserving of it!

We spent our Thanksgiving moving from out of state and were screwed over by another mattress company who promised but never delivered! After 2 nights on the floor because of Thanksgiving we went in search of a mattress STAT! Howard at Mattress Warehouse was able to get a brand new queen size mattress and box spring and frame straight away from his stock room! The mattress is wonderful (Biscane) and Howard was a delight despite the fact he was pulling a double for Black Friday. These guys are the real deal unlike those other schmucks! Also props to Howard, when we told him our story he asked where we’d had the problem and when we said we’d rather not say he dropped it and went back to looking at making our future better rather than dwelling on the negatives in our past, a very professional approach, we’ll done Howard!
